A Study on the Employment Needs of People with Disabilities using Internet Knowledge Search

  • This study was to analyze the employment needs of people with disabilities used Internet Knowledge Search for their employment. The questions related to employment of people with disabilities used Naver's Knowledge-iN Search during the year of 2014 to the year of 2015 were analyzed. The results are the follows. First, people with intellectual disabilities, mental disorders and physical disabilities asked many questions related to employment. Second, most minor disabilities asked many questions related to employment than severe disabilities but exception for people with mental disorders. Third, their's questions related to employment had some different but various according to the types of disabilities. Fourth, their's expected occupation had some different but various according to the types of disabilities. Implications for employment activation of people with disabilities were proposed.

Educational Needs for Employment Competency of College Students in Management Using IPA Technique

  • 본 연구의 목적은 경영계열 전공 대학생의 구직역량 인식 차이와 교육요구를 분석하는데 있다. 이를 위해 2019년 12월 2일부터 12월 6일 간 충청소재의 A대학 경영계열에 재학 중인 215명을 대상으로 구직역량에 대한 중요도와 보유도 인식수준을 조사하였다. 수집한 자료를 활용하여 대응표본 t-test를 통해 인식차이를 분석하고, IPA 기법을 통해 구직역량의 교육요구도를 확인하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 전체에는 '전공분야 관련 성적, 자격증 등 전문지식' 역량을 강화해야 하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 성별에 따라서는 '정보탐색'을 포함하여 남학생은 '직무관련 외국어 활용'을, 여학생은 '취업목표설정 및 대안마련'을 추가하여 집중 교육할 필요가 있었다. 셋째, 학년에 따라서는 '정보탐색'을 포함하여 1학년은 '직무관련 외국어 활용, 구직에 필요한 서류작성'을, 4학년은 '자기이해, 직무관련 외국어 활용'을 추가하여 우선 교육할 필요가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 경영계열 대학생의 전체, 성별, 학년별 구직역량 교육요구의 차이를 밝힘으로써 집단의 특징을 고려한 취업지원 프로그램을 개발하는데 참고할 수 있을 것이다.

근로자의 고용상태가 미충족 의료에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Employment Status on the Unmet Needs of Medical Utilization in Workers)

  • Objectives: This study was designed to evaluate whether employment status is associated with the experience of unmet care needs. Methods: This study utilized the Korea Health Panel data from 2012 to 2016. A total of 4,083 workers were selected as baseline subjects in 2012 and were followed for four years. This study used the GLIMMIX procedure under the marginal model while adjusting for covariates. Results: A total of 12.4% of 4,083 people said they had failed at least once to have a treatment or checkup despite the needs. Those more likely to experience unmet care needs were women and people of lower income level, with worse health conditions and chronic disease. Precarious workers, the self-employed, and the unemployed were more likely to experience unmet care needs caused by economic burden than permanent workers (Odds Ratio: 2.14, 2.07, 2.74, respectively). Conclusions: This disparity means that precarious workers and the unemployed are more likely to face barriers in obtaining needed health services. Given their insecure employment status, meeting their needs for health care is an important consideration.

정신적 장애인의 경제수준, 직업능력 및 취업욕구관련 분석 (Employment Needs of People with Mental Disabilities - Centering on Economic Status and Occupational Ability Variables)

  • 본 연구는 정신적 장애인의 경제수준과 직업능력에 따른 취업욕구를 살펴보고 그에 따른 직업재활 활성화 방안을 제안하고자 하였다. 분석자료는 2008년부터 2010년 까지 장애인 고용패널조사에 3년간 참여한 정신적 장애인 298명(가중빈도적용:154,348명)을 대상으로 하였다. 연구결과, 직업교육 참여희망은 남성일 때, 중졸 이상일 때, 자격증을 보유했을 때, 그리고 장애유형중 지적장애일 때 직업교육 참여희망이 높았다. 한편, 취업의사 관련요인은 남성일 때, 가구주일 때, 중등교육 이상 이수하였을 때, 자격증을 보유하고 있을 때, 육체활동 능력이 높아질 때, 그리고 장애유형 중 자폐장애일 때 취업의사가 높았다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 정신적 장애인의 경제활동 참여를 높이기 위하여 정신적 장애인의 의사를 반영한 직업재활 서비스제공 및 사업주 주도적 직업활동 등을 제안하였다.

종사상 지위와 가구 균등화 소득이 치과 의료 미충족에 미치는 영향 : 2018 한국의료패널 자료를 활용한 분석 (The effect of employment status and household equalization income on unmet dental and medical care needs : a study on the application of Korea Medical Panel Data 2018)

  • Objectives: This study used the 2018 Korea Health Panel Survey data to analyze factors affecting employment status and income relating to unmet dental and medical care needs. Additionally it investigated measures to reduce oral health inequality among various socioeconomic classes. Methods: Descriptive statistics for the subjects' unmet dental and medical care needs were calculated through chi-square test analysis, and multivariate logistic regression analysis was applied to identify factors affecting the unmet dental and medical care needs. The odds ratio and 95% confidence interval were calculated for each level. These data were analyzed using STATA 17.0 SE (64-bit) version, and the statistical significance level was set to p<0.05. Results: As a result of unmet dental and medical care needs according to general characteristics, the lower the education level (p<0.001), the higher the age (p<0.001) and the lower the household equalization income (p<0.024) and the smoker status (p<0.003) were, respectively. Factors that have a statistically significant impact on unmet dental and medical care needs were divorce, separation and bereavement (p<0.001) in individuals than in married persons, and being smokers than non-smokers (p<0.009). The frequency of unmet dental and medical care needs were found to be lower in the cases of a high school graduate than an elementary school graduate (p<0.018), and of higher household equalization income (p<0.001) than the lowest household equalization income, respectively. Conclusions: It was found that various factors such as age, education level, household equalization income, employment status, type of working hours type, and smoking status affect unmet dental and medical care needs.

A study on ways to make employment improve through Big Data analysis of university information public

  • The necessity of this study is as follows. A decrease in the number of newborns, an increase in the youth unemployment rate, and a decrease in the employment rate are having a fatal impact on universities. To help increase the employment rate of universities, we intend to utilize Big Data of university public information. Big data refers to the process of collecting and analyzing data, and includes all business processes of finding data, reprocessing information in an easy-to-understand manner, and selling information to people and institutions. Big data technology can be divided into technologies for storing, refining, analyzing, and predicting big data. The purpose of this study is to find the vision and special department of a university with a high employment rate by using big data technology. As a result of the study, big data was collected from 227 universities on www.academyinfo.go.kr site, We selected 130 meaningful universities and selected 25 universities with high employment rates and 25 universities with low employment rates. In conclusion, the university with a high employment rate can first be said to have a student-centered vision and university specialization. The reason is that, for universities with a high employment rate, the vision was to foster talents and specialize, whereas for universities with a low employment rate, regional bases took precedence. Second, universities with a high employment rate have a high interest in specialized departments. This is because, as a result of checking the presence or absence of a characterization plan, universities with a high employment rate were twice as high (21/7). Third, universities with high employment rates promote social needs and characterization. This is because the characteristic departments of universities with high employment rates are in the order of future technology and nursing and health, while universities with low employment rates promoted school-centered specialization in future technology and culture, tourism and art. In summary, universities with high employment rates showed high interest in student-centered vision and development of special departments for social needs.

한국기업의 외국인근로자 고용 결정요인에 관한 실태분석 (The actual condition analysis on the determining factors of foreign workers employment in Korean companies)

  • This study focused on the determining factors of foreign workers employment in Korean companies. To improve our national enterprise's work outcome, it is necessary to establish a rational employment management policy plan so that the Korea can promote influx of foreign workers who have appropriate job skills and are hard-working and well suited for cultural environment. Accordingly, the companies need to develop the program by considering following. First, the duty of skilled foreign workers for employment is an important determinant factor and thus the targeting for foreign workers is necessary to proceed with pre-paced training. Second, reflecting the cultural characteristics of migrant workers, a cultural adjustment program needs to be developed. In this regard, the national program of screening foreign workers at the government level and the adaptation program needs to be launched suitable for local environment.

한국 노동시장 불안정성과 미충족 치과의료의 관련성: 고용과 소득 불안정성을 중심으로 (The relationship between precarious work and unmet dental care needs in South Korea: focus on job and income insecurity)

  • Objectives: The aim of this study was to analyze the accessibility of dental care services among individuals with precarious employment in South Korea. Methods: We used the $9^{th}$ wave of the Korean Health Panel data (2015) and included 7,736 wage and non-wage earners in our study. We determined precariousness in the labor market as a combination of employment relationship and job income, and categorized individuals based on this into the following four groups: Group A comprising those who report job and income security, Group B comprising those who experience job insecurity alone, Group C comprising those who report a stable job but low income, and Group D comprising those who experience both job and income insecurity. Accessibility to dental care services was determined by experience of unmet dental care needs and unmet dental care needs caused primarily by financial burden. Logistic regression analyses were used to assess the effect of precarious work on access to dental care services. Results: Individuals with job insecurity (Group B; OR=1.445; 95% CI=1.22-1.70) and both job and income insecurity (Group D; OR=1.899; 95% CI=1.61-2.24) were more likely to have unmet needs than the comparison group. Both groups B and D were also 2.048 (95% CI=1.57-2.66) times and 4.435 (95% CI =3.46-5.68) times more likely, respectively, to have unmet dental care needs caused by financial burden. Education status, health insurance, and health status were all also effective factors influencing unmet dental care needs. Conclusions: Unstable employment and low income resulted in diminished access to dental care services. Therefore, governments should consider health policy solutions to reduce barriers preventing individuals with employment and income instability from accessing adequate dental care.

수요 분석을 통한 고용지원 보조공학센터 설립 필요성 연구 (Study through Demand Analysis, about Needs of Establishing of Assistive Technology Center for Supported Employment)

  • 2004년부터 실시되고 있는 고용지원을 위한 보조공학서비스를 제공하고 있는 센터는 중앙기관 1개와 그 외 18개지사의 한국장애인고용공단이다. 선행 연구에서 수요자의 만족도 조사를 통해 서비스의 필요성이 입증되었다. 그러나 센터의 전문성을 향상시키고, 양적 서비스에서 질적 서비스를 실시할 필요성이 나타나면서 수요분석을 통해 고용지원 보조공학 센터의 설립이 필요하다고 할 수 있다. 2013년도 한국장애인고용공단의 보조공학기기지원사업의 성과의 분석 통해 보조공학기기 수용에 대한 추계율을 분석하였다. 국가 및 지자체에서 지원하고 관리하는 센터의 경우의 보조공학서비스가 필요한 장애인 수요자를 지원하기에 인력 및 지원이 부족하다고 나타났다. 이를 통해 증가하는 장애인 인구수와 그 들의 다양한 욕구를 해결 할 수 있는 고용지원 보조공학 센터는 설립이 필요하다고 조사되었다.

인천시 모(母)의 취업 여부에 따른 아동 돌봄 실태 및 정책 욕구 (The Profile of Child Care and the Policy Needs by Mother's Employment Status in Incheon)

  • 본 연구는 인천의 아동 돌봄 실태를 살펴보고, 아동의 모(母)가 가지고 있는 정책적 욕구를 현재의 보육 환경 속에서 해석해 보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 아동의 모(母)를 취업모와 미취업모로 구분하고, 각 집단에 따른 아동 돌봄 시간과, 만족도 그리고 정책 욕구를 살펴보았다. 연구 수행을 위해 5세 이하의 자녀를 돌보고 있는 인천시 거주 여성(292명)을 분석 대상으로 삼았다. 분석 결과, 미취업모가 취업모보다 아동 돌봄 시간이 더 긴 것으로 나타났고, 만족도는 신체적 돌봄에서만 미취업모가 취업모보다 유의미하게 높은 수준을 나타냈다. 정책 욕구는 각 집단이 처한 상황을 반영하는 결과를 보였다. 정책 욕구 중 보육시설 비용에 대한 지원 욕구는 두 집단 모두에서 높은 수준으로 나타났는데, 이는 아동 연령 증가에 따른 보육시설 이용 가능성의 증가와 인천시의 부모 부담 보육료 수준이 높음에 따라 나타난 결과로 생각된다. 본 연구는 이와 같은 결과를 바탕으로 정책적 함의를 제시하였다.
