유통업 종사자의 감정노동 영향과 사회적 지원 및 직무자율성의 조절효과 (The Effects of Emotional Labor and Moderating Effect of Social Support and Job Autonomy on Retailing services employee's)

  • This study seeks to identify effects derived from emotional labor in the distribution industry, and draw ways to systematically manage the employees by exploring effects of the emotion work on performance. For the purpose, literature reviews and empirical experiments were conducted to find out effects of emotional labor and false face acting on emotion work and organizational performance and effects of social support and job autonomy on the relationship between emotion work and organizational performance. To verify the hypothesis, we conducted a hierarchical regression analysis and structural equation model analysis using SPSS 20 and AMOS19. The result of the verification in this study is as follows: First, effects of emotional labor on burnout was found to be statistically significant, second, as for the path-coefficient for "emotional labor ${\rightarrow}$ emotion work" and "emotional labor ${\rightarrow}$ job satisfaction" was not statistically significant, while the path-coefficient for "emotional labor ${\rightarrow}$ service level" was found to be statistically significant. Third, effects of emotion work on job satisfaction was found statistically significant, fourth, emotion work on the service level was found statistically significant, fifth, effects of false face acting on emotion work was found statistically significant, sixth, effects of false face acting on burnout was statistically significant, seventh, moderating were found statistically significant and lastly, moderating effects of the relationship between emotion work from job autonomy and organization performance was not verified in job satisfaction, while emotion work, job autonomy, and interaction variable in service level were statistically significant.

Occupational Health Policies on Risk Assessment in Japan

  • Industrial Safety and Health Law (ISH Law) of Japan requires abnormalities identified in evaluations of worker health and working environments are reported to occupational physicians, and employers are advised of measures to ensure appropriate accommodations in working environments and work procedures. Since the 1980s, notions of a risk assessment and occupational safety and health management system were expected to further prevent industrial accidents. In 2005, ISH Law stipulated workplace risk assessment using the wording "employers shall endeavor." Following the amendment, multiple documents and guidelines for risk assessment for different work procedures were developed. They require ISH Laws to be implemented fully and workplaces to plan and execute measures to reduce risks, ranking them from those addressing potential hazards to those requiring workers to wear protective articles. A governmental survey in 2005 found the performance of risk assessment was 20.4% and common reasons for not implementing risk assessments were lack of adequate personnel or knowledge. ISH Law specifies criminal penalties for both individuals and organizations. Moreover, under the Labor Contract Law promulgated in 2007, employers are obliged to make reasonable efforts to ensure employee health for foreseeable and avoidable risks. Therefore, enterprises neglecting even the non-binding provisions of guidelines are likely to suffer significant business impact if judged to be responsible for industrial accidents or occupational disease. To promote risk assessment, we must strengthen technical, financial, and physical support from public-service organizations, encourage the dissemination of good practices to reduce risks, and consider additional employer incentives, including relaxed mandatory regulations.

기업의 수출활동과 지식재산권 창출활용 (Exporting and IPR Creation Use of Firms)

  • 본 연구는 2006년~2014년 매년 행해진 「기업활동조사」 데이터를 활용해서 기업의 수출을 통한 학습 가설을 검증하고 지식재산권의 활용이 수출에 미치는 영향을 실증한다. 실증분석에 활용한 「기업 활동조사」는 6,144개 기업을 9년에 걸쳐 설문한 총 55,281개 샘플을 포함하고 있다. 데이터는 샘플의 특성으로 기업의 종업원수와 같은 규모에 관한 정보와 종사 산업분야, 수출액, 보유 혹은 활용 지식재산권 수, 외부 혁신활동에 대한 정보를 포함하고 있다. 우선 가설 1에 대한 실증을 통해 본 연구는 기업이 수출활동에 종사하는 여부가 지식재산권의 생산으로 대변되는 기업의 혁신에 연관된다는 결과를 도출했다. 수출을 통한 혁신을 확인할 수 있었다. 다음으로 가설 2에 대한 검증을 통해 본 연구는 연구개발과 지식재산권의 활용이 수출성과에 양의 영향을 미친다는 것을 확인했다. 수출기업은 해외시장에 진출해서 경쟁하기 위해 새로운 제품과 공정을 개발함으로써 더 높은 수출성과를 올린다. 또한 수출기업은 지식재산권 활용을 통해 해외시장에서 혁신성과를 전유한다.

세종특별자치시 학교급식 조리종사자의 위생교육과 위생관리 수행도 평가 (Evaluation of Sanitary Education and Performance of Sanitary Management among School Food Service Employees in Sejong)

  • This study examined sanitary education and performance of sanitary management among employees related to cooking in school food services in Sejong. A total of 193 subjects (19.2% for kindergarten, 42.5% for elementary school, and 38.3% for middle and high school) participated in this questionnaire survey. The frequency of sanitary education was highest at 63.7% once a month, and it was higher in the order of middle and high school, elementary school, and kindergarten (P<0.001). The most important contents of sanitary education were personal sanitary management (43.5%), food material management (25.9%), and sanitary and safety management of equipment and utensils (17.6%). The necessity of sanitary education recognized by the subjects was absolutely necessary at 69.9% and necessary at 28.0%. The application of knowledge from sanitary education is high in proper application at 50.8% and absolute application at 40.4%. The improvement effect after sanitary education was higher in kindergarten than in elementary school and middle and high school (P<0.01). The performance of sanitary management was high at 4.7 out of 5. In particular, personal sanitary management was the highest in elementary school at 4.8 followed in order by middle and high school (4.7) and kindergarten (4.6) (P<0.01). The necessity of sanitary education and the application of knowledge obtained from sanitary education to the food service showed a significant and positive correlation with the sanitary management performance (P<0.05, P<0.001). These results highlight that the need for customized sanitary education for institution types and an awareness of sanitary education by employees will enhance sanitary management in school food service.

데이터 기반 인사관리에 관한 직무전문가 인식 고찰 (A Study on the Perception of Job Experts on Data-based HR Management)

  • 경쟁우위 확보를 위해 인적자원을 효율적이고 효과적으로 활용하는 인사관리가 필요하다는 인식이 빠르게 확산하고 있다. 팬데믹으로 인해 노동시장과 근로환경이 빠르게 변화하는 상황에서 기업현장에서는 데이터와 같은 근거에 기반한 인사관리에 대한 관심이 확산하고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 기업현장에서 인사관리 직무를 수행하고 있는 전문가의 인식에 초점을 두고 데이터 기반 인사관리 실행과 활용 전도에 관해 확인하고자 한다. 연구대상은 경기도 판교에 소재한 IT 서비스 개발/제공 전문기업 3개사 인사기획/관리 직무전문가 3명으로 선정하였으며, 데이터 기반 인사관리 실행현황, 측정/분석 도구와 활용도 수준 파악 등에 집중하였다. 연구방법으로는 근거이론 기반의 개방코딩, 축코딩, 선택코딩 절차를 활용하였다. 심층면담을 통한 연구결과, 기업의 인사관리 측정지표는 사람, 생산성, 문화의 세 영역으로 나누어지며, 활용도가 높은 지표를 영역별로 구분할 수 있었다. 본 연구를 통해 연구대상 기업이 어떠한 측정도구와 메커니즘을 통해 인사관리 기능을 실행하고 있으며, 인사관리 실행 효과성과 효율성을 측정, 분석, 활용에 관한 기업현장의 인식을 확인할 수 있었다.

의료기관 인증 후 환자의 질 향상과 병원운영효과 인식도 조사연구 - 요양병원과 양방병원 대상 - (Research on Improvement of Patient Quality and Perception of Hospital Operation Effect after Medical Institution Certification - For Nursing Hospitals and Western Hospitals -)

  • 본 연구는 의료기관 인증 제도를 받은 요양병원과 양방병원의 내부구성원을 구분하여 인증이 구성원만족도, 직무 스트레스, 병원운영 효과, 의료서비스 향상에 미치는 영향을 파악하고자 하였다. 요양병원이 양방병원보다 인증제도가 구성원만족도, 병원운영효과, 의료서비스 효과에서 높게 나타났으며, 양방병원 구성원이 직무 스트레스에 대해선 높게 나타났다. 요양병원 및 양방병원 모두 인증에 따른 구성원 만족도, 병원 운영효과, 의료서비스 효과는 정(+)적인 결과를 나타났다. 요양병원은 2013년부터 의무적 인증으로 인증제의 효과가 실증적으로 높게 나타났을 것으로 사료된다. 따라서 본 연구는 인증제가 의료서비스 향상에 미치는 영향을 분석함으로써 꾸준한 의료의 질 관리가 병원경영 효율화 및 환자의 만족도 향상에 기여하고자 한다.

Impact of an emergency department resident strike during the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic in Daegu, South Korea: a retrospective cross-sectional study

  • Background: To prepare for future work stoppages in the medical industry, this study aimed to identify the effects of healthcare worker strikes on the mortality rate of patients visiting the emergency department (ED) at six training hospitals in Daegu, South Korea. Methods: We used a retrospective, cross-sectional, multicenter design to analyze the medical records of patients who visited six training hospitals in Daegu (August 21-September 8, 2020). For comparison, control period 1 was set as the same period in the previous year (August 21-September 8, 2019) and control period 2 was set as July 1-19, 2020. Patient characteristics including age, sex, and time of ED visit were investigated along with mode of arrival, length of ED stay, and in-hospital mortality. The experimental and control groups were compared using t-tests, and Mann-Whitney U-test, chi-square test, and Fisher exact tests, as appropriate. Univariate logistic regression was performed to identify significant factors, followed by multivariate logistic regression analysis. Results: During the study period, 31,357 patients visited the ED, of which 7,749 belonged to the experimental group. Control periods 1 and 2 included 13,100 and 10,243 patients, respectively. No significant in-hospital mortality differences were found between strike periods; however, the results showed statistically significant differences in the length of ED stay. Conclusion: The ED resident strike did not influence the mortality rate of patients who visited the EDs of six training hospitals in Daegu. Furthermore, the number of patients admitted and the length of ED stay decreased during the strike period.

경영진 보수에 대한 주주 투표권(Say on pay)의 효과를 중심으로 (Focusing on the effect of shareholder voting rights (Say on pay) on CEO compensation)

  • 본 연구는 2018년 금융위원회의 금융회사 지배구조 개선 방안 중 고액 연봉자 보수공시 강화 효과를 분석하기 위하여 2015년부터 2020년까지 우리나라 금융회사를 대상으로 보상체계와 경영성과, 그리고 지배구조 개선에 관한 실증분석을 수행하였다. 실증분석 결과, 2018년 이후의 금융회사가 임직원보상괴리도와 대주주지분율은 감소하고, 주식성과 및 외국인지분율은 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 경영진 보수에 대해 공개하고, 그 적정성에 관하여 주주들이 투표를 통해 확인할 수 있도록 하는, 이른바 Say on pay의 적용 효과를 검증한 첫 번째 국내연구라는 점에 가장 큰 공헌점이 있다. 외국의 Say on pay 제도는 기업 보상 체계를 더욱 엄격하게 조정하도록 하면서 기존 대기업의 보수지급 관행을 변화시켰다. 따라서 보수 공시제도의 긍정적인 효과를 반영한 금융위원회의 금융회사 지배구조 개선방안이 실효성을 거두었는지 실증 분석하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다. 또한 경영진의 과도한 보상을 통제하기 위한 수단으로서의 Say on pay의 효과에 집중한 점에서 최근 ESG경영과 지배구조 개선방안에 관한 학술적 공헌점도 제공한다.

백화점 판매사원의 감정노동에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Emotional Labor of Sales Workers at Department Stores)

  • 서비스업의 대부분에서는 감정노동이라고 하는 새로운 형태의 노동을 제공하도록 요구 받는다. 이에 따라 많은 판매사원들은 자신의 감정을 숨긴 채 고객들에게 항상 웃음으로 서비스를 제공하게 된다. 이에 본 연구에서는 백화점 판매사원의 감정노동에 관하여 실증적 연구를 진행하였다. 감정노동, 직무스트레스, 직무만족의 관계를 기초로 하여 실증분석을 시도하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 감정노동은 직무스트레스에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 즉 감정노동이 증가함에 따라서 직무스트레스가 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 감정노동과 직무만족의 관계를 살펴본 결과 유의한 결과를 제시하지 못하였다. 이는 감정노동이 직무만족에 직접적인 영향보다는 간접적인 영향을 제공한다고 볼 수 있을 것이다. 셋째, 직무스트레스와 직무만족 간에 관계를 보면 역할갈등요인이 유의한 결과를 제시하고 있다. 이는 역할갈등이 증가할수록 직무만족이 떨어진다는 것을 의미하는 결과를 나타내고 있다. 이러한 결과를 통하여 감정노동이 판매사원들의 직무스트레스 및 직무만족에 직, 간접적인 영향을 미치므로 이에 대한 관리를 필요로 할 것이다. 이는 서비스를 제공하는 판매사원의 직무만족이 궁극적으로 고객 서비스 품질로 이어질 것이므로 아주 의미하는 바가 크다고 할 수 있다.

패스트푸드 레스토랑의 소비가치가 고객만족, 행동의도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Consumption Values on Customer Satisfaction and Behavior Intention in Fast-Food Restaurants)

  • Purpose - Until recently, studies on customer values for restaurants recognized two path structures; the SERVQUAL model, that is, service quality? perceived value? customer satisfaction? behavioral intention, and the customer value? customer satisfaction? behavioral intention path that categorizes customer values into functional value and hedonic value. This study, instead, classifies the consumption values of fast-food restaurants based on the consumption value system provided by Sheth, Newman and Gross (1991) and illustrates the new path structure, consumption value? customer satisfaction? behavioral intention, targeting college students for a generalization of the consumption value system of fast-food restaurants. Research design, data, and methodology - This study establishes five hypotheses based on the relationship between each type of consumption value (functional, emotional, social, and epistemic) and customer satisfaction, and the relationship between customer satisfaction and behavioral intention. For this analysis, data was collected by conducting a pre-test and administering a survey to 213 college students who are regular customers at fast-food restaurants in Seoul, Korea. The data collected was then analyzed using SPSS 15.0 and AMOS 6.0 statistical packages. Results - The study showed that: First, the consumption values of fast-food restaurants are classified into the following four categories: functional value, emotional value, social value, and epistemic value while consumption value can be applied to customer value of fast-food restaurants. Second, the functional and epistemic values had a positive impact on customer satisfaction. The resulting satisfaction is attributed to the intrinsic characteristics of fast-food restaurants like the consistent quality of food, reasonable prices, fast service, and unique or new experiences on every visit. On the other hand, emotional and social values did not affect customer satisfaction. The results on emotional value differed from the general studies on restaurants while the results obtained for social value were not consistent with the studies on high-end restaurants. Third, customer satisfaction had a positive impact on behavioral intention. The survey showed that college students reflected behavioral intention - repurchase intention and word-of-mouth - if they were satisfied with the food quality and employee services provided. Simultaneously, it was seen that the impact of functional value on customer satisfaction of fast food restaurant goers was more than that of epistemic value. Conclusions - The consumption values of fast-food restaurant users could be classified into four categories, functional, emotional, social and epistemic values, based on the consumption value system provided by Sheth, Newman and Gross (1991). It proved that the customer values of restaurant goers can be extended to the path structure of consumption value? customer satisfaction? behavioral intention to confirm its generalization. The study also showed that marketing managers need to focus more on the factors that influence functional value as the fast-food restaurant users consider timely services with the consistent quality of food at a reasonable price and at a convenient place more important than the new experiences or uniqueness.
