Domestic enterprises are surveyed and analyzed to find the empirical relationship between environmental characteristics and electronic commerce(EC) performance. Dynamism, hostility and heterogeneity are selected as environmental characteristics. EC performance is articulated as EC utilization, EC satisfaction and EC usefulness. Empirical test presents that dynamism has a statistically significant relationship with EC performance except EC usefulness, but hostility and heterogeneity have no statistically significant relationship with EC performance. The impact of industry type on environmental characteristics and EC performance is also tested.

The majority of published conclusions about structural configuration effects of bond strength were based on the observed performance of test specimens and their interpretations are mostly empirical and statistical. The empirical and statistical interpretation on bond strength have to be replaced by rational models based on simple, sound and verifiable mechanical principles. It is likely that such models also represent the key to a deeper understanding of some existing experimental data on bond strength. The presented truss model is capable of explaining failure modes involving bond slip that cannot be explained by current truss model.

The purpose of this paper is to identify the CPU temperatures on traffic processing between two servers system. To test this model, this research applies multi-generator and resource reservation protocol that produce various types of traffics. The empirical results indicate that $56^{\circ}C\mp9^{\circ}C$ of CPU temperature is suitable when 250-300 traffics with 10-15kb per a packet are supplied. And also, no jitter delay time is showed in these cases.

We present empirical fiducial sequences for horizontal-branch (HB) stars in a set of bright Galactic globular clusters previously observed in SDSS (An et al. 2008). Mean loci of HB stars are derived on color-magnitude diagrams with multiple color indices (u - g, g - r, g - i, and g - z ) in order to identify foreground/background objects as well as cluster RR Lyrae variables. We compare our fiducial sequences to the model predictions from Yonsei-Yale isochrones and test the accuracy of the stellar evolution models.

Efforts to obtain more power for unit root tests have continued. Pantula at el.(1994) compared empirical powers of several unit root test statistics and addressed that the weighted symmetric estimator(WSE) and the unconditional maximum likelihood estimator(UMLE) are the best among them. One can easily see that the powers of these two statistics are almost the same. In this paper we explain a connection between WSE and UMLE and suggest a unit root test statistic which may explain the connection between them.

In this paper we study the Hellinger distance based goodness-of-fit tests that are analogs of likelihood ratio tests. The minimum Hellinger distance estimator (MHDE) in normal models provides an excellent robust alternative to the usual maximum likelihood estimator. Our simulation results show that the Hellinger deviance test (Simpson 1989) based goodness-of-fit test is robust when data contain outliers. The proposed hellinger deviance test(Simpson 1989) is a more direcct method for obtaining robust inferences than an automated outlier screen method used before the likelihood ratio test data analysis.

적절한 확률분포형을 결정하고 그에 따른 확률수문량을 산정하는 것은 빈도해석에서 가장 중요한 절차이며, 이를 수행하기 위해서는 경험적 확률분포에서 얻어지는 자료와 가정한 확률분포에서 얻어지는 자료의 일치 정도를 판별하는 적합도 검정을 거쳐야 한다. 지금까지 일반적으로 적용된 적합도 검정 방법은 분포형의 전체적인 적합정도를 판별하여 최근의 기상이변으로 인한 극치 사상에 대하여는 충분히 고려하지 못하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 분포형의 극치 사상에 가중치를 주는 modified Anderson-Darling(AD) 검정 방법을 3변수 Weibull 분포형에 적용하여 검정통계량 한계값과 기각력을 살펴보았으며 이를 실제자료에 적용한 결과, modified AD 검정 방법이 다른 기존의 적합도 검정보다 더 우수한 기각력을 가지고 있음을 확인하였다. 이는 앞으로 3변수 Weibull 분포형을 이용한 극치 수문량 선정에 있어 modified AD 방법이 하나의 기준으로 작용할 수 있을 것이라 판단된다.

At present, wind tunnel test or CFD is used for predicting aerodynamic drag coefficient in motor company. But, wind tunnel test requires much cost and time, and CFD has about 30% error. In this study a predicting program of the aerodynamic drag coefficient based on empirical techniques was developed. Also a mathematical optimization method using GRG method was added to the program. The program was applied to six cars. Aerodynamic drag coefficient values of six cars were Predicted with 4.857% average error. The optimization method was also applied to six cars. Three parameters selected from sensitivity analysis were determined to reduce the afterbody drag coefficient to the value established by a designer and when some parameters were changed for a developing automotive, optimal modifiable parameters were determined to preserve the same drag coefficient as the original automotive. It was verified that this program could predict the aerodynamic drag coefficient effectively and accurately, and this program with GRG method could determine optimal values of parameters.

This study is about a semi-active quarter car simulation method including a MR(magneto-rheological) damper. The MR damper was modeled as Spencer model that can capture nonlinear and hysteretic behavior. The parameters of the Spencer model were extracted from a random excitation test and optimum treatment of the test data. Then, a suspension control algorithm based on Sky-hook theory was applied for the quarter car simulation. Also, an experiment was dong using a quarter car simulator to confirm the simulation results with the Spencer MR damper model
