ERP 도입 전 구성원의 저항 (A Study on Users' Resistance toward ERP in the Pre-adoption Context)

  • Information Systems (IS) is an essential tool for any organizations. The last decade has seen an increasing body of knowledge on IS usage. Yet, IS often fails because of its misuse or non-use. In general, decisions regarding the selection of a system, which involve the evaluation of many IS vendors and an enormous initial investment, are made not through the consensus of employees but through the top-down decision making by top managers. In situations where the selected system does not satisfy the needs of the employees, the forced use of the selected IS will only result in their resistance to it. Many organizations have been either integrating dispersed legacy systems such as archipelago or adopting a new ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system to enhance employee efficiency. This study examines user resistance prior to the adoption of the selected IS or ERP system. As such, this study identifies the importance of managing organizational resistance that may appear in the pre-adoption context of an integrated IS or ERP system, explores key factors influencing user resistance, and investigates how prior experience with other integrated IS or ERP systems may change the relationship between the affecting factors and user resistance. This study focuses on organizational members' resistance and the affecting factors in the pre-adoption context of an integrated IS or ERP system rather than in the context of an ERP adoption itself or ERP post-adoption. Based on prior literature, this study proposes a research model that considers six key variables, including perceived benefit, system complexity, fitness with existing tasks, attitude toward change, the psychological reactance trait, and perceived IT competence. They are considered as independent variables affecting user resistance toward an integrated IS or ERP system. This study also introduces the concept of prior experience (i.e., whether a user has prior experience with an integrated IS or ERP system) as a moderating variable to examine the impact of perceived benefit and attitude toward change in user resistance. As such, we propose eight hypotheses with respect to the model. For the empirical validation of the hypotheses, we developed relevant instruments for each research variable based on prior literature and surveyed 95 professional researchers and the administrative staff of the Korea Photonics Technology Institute (KOPTI). We examined the organizational characteristics of KOPTI, the reasons behind their adoption of an ERP system, process changes caused by the introduction of the system, and employees' resistance/attitude toward the system at the time of the introduction. The results of the multiple regression analysis suggest that, among the six variables, perceived benefit, complexity, attitude toward change, and the psychological reactance trait significantly influence user resistance. These results further suggest that top management should manage the psychological states of their employees in order to minimize their resistance to the forced IS, even in the new system pre-adoption context. In addition, the moderating variable-prior experience was found to change the strength of the relationship between attitude toward change and system resistance. That is, the effect of attitude toward change in user resistance was significantly stronger in those with prior experience than those with no prior experience. This result implies that those with prior experience should be identified and provided with some type of attitude training or change management programs to minimize their resistance to the adoption of a system. This study contributes to the IS field by providing practical implications for IS practitioners. This study identifies system resistance stimuli of users, focusing on the pre-adoption context in a forced ERP system environment. We have empirically validated the proposed research model by examining several significant factors affecting user resistance against the adoption of an ERP system. In particular, we find a clear and significant role of the moderating variable, prior ERP usage experience, in the relationship between the affecting factors and user resistance. The results of the study suggest the importance of appropriately managing the factors that affect user resistance in organizations that plan to introduce a new ERP system or integrate legacy systems. Moreover, this study offers to practitioners several specific strategies (in particular, the categorization of users by their prior usage experience) for alleviating the resistant behaviors of users in the process of the ERP adoption before a system becomes available to them. Despite the valuable contributions of this study, there are also some limitations which will be discussed in this paper to make the study more complete and consistent.

서비스혁신 연구 동향: 국내 및 해외 주요 학술지를 중심으로 (A Review of Service Innovation Research: A Comparison of Domestic and International Research Papers)

  • Although service innovation is not a new concept, innovation research in general tends to focus on technological innovation by manufacturing firms. With this view, innovation studies focus on product(e.g., goods) and process(e.g., product systems) innovation, ignoring service innovation and its inherent opportunities. Since major economy has been transformed to service economy, service innovation is considered a new effective way to sustain and gain a competitive advantage. Service innovation is no longer regarded merely as a side activity to product innovation; it has become a main research topic in its own right, accompanied by an increasing focus on services. While the number of service innovation studies has increased dramatically in the past 30 years in international research, few studies have been performed in domestic studies because domestic service innovation research began from the middle of 2000. In addition, there are no comprehensive literature reviews describing the evolution of service innovation research in both international and domestic studies because of the heterogeneities of service industry and multidiscipline characteristics of service innovation studies. To bridge this research gap, the purpose of this paper is to perform an extensive literature review and synthesis to enable a critical review of extant research on service innovation and trace its evolution, which will establish a foundation for further studies. By reviewing 169 articles (136 international papers; 33 domestic papers) published between 2000 and 2014 (in past 15 years), primarily in leading service, innovation and management information systems journals, this study analyzes the progression of service innovation research according to the four aspects such as number of studies, topics, methodologies and target industries. Overall, the view of service innovation has evolved, from a complement of traditional product innovation to a multidimensional, all-encompassing concept that entails several functions, both within and outside the firms. The results showed that domestic research still stays at the formation phase of service innovation studies although international research is in the maturity or multidimensional phase. We found increasing recent activities pertaining to service innovation, resulting from the increasing interest in services innovation across various industries and the links of new topics to the service innovation concept in both international and domestic studies. However, the main focus of service innovation research showed a different propensity between international and domestic studies: the former mainly focuses on a much more diversified pattern, emphasizing the linkages between service innovation and business strategy while the latter mainly focuses on the service innovation process(system) and service design. In addition, there are many case studies in domestic studies while many empirical studies in international studies. Domestic studies should increases the understanding of the interplay between service innovation and product innovation within manufacturing firms. Furthermore, rather than focusing on intrinsic distinctions between service innovation and product innovation, researchers should strive to develop and conceptualize service innovation in domestics studies. The present research also provides useful implications for practitioners. First, this study contributes to expand the current understanding of service innovation research by performing an extensive literature review. Second, tracing and comparing the progression and trends of service innovation research between international and domestic studies, this study showed the similarities and differences between them, which provide practical guidance on future research directions and research agenda. Third, this study performed literature review establishing the analysis system in the initial stage and using them to analyze articles, which is leading to explain the research review of service innovation more systematically and objectively. Finally, this study suggests the domestic researchers their future interests and topics of service innovation research.

정보시스템의 실제 이용에 대한 연구: 모바일 서비스 시스템 품질을 중심으로 (A Study on Actual Usage of Information Systems: Focusing on System Quality of Mobile Service)

  • Information systems (IS) have become ubiquitous and changed every aspect of how people live their lives. While some IS have been successfully adopted and widely used, others have failed to be adopted and crowded out in spite of remarkable progress in technologies. Both the technology acceptance model (TAM) and the IS Success Model (ISSM), among many others, have contributed to explain the reasons of success as well as failure in IS adoption and usage. While the TAM suggests that intention to use and perceived usefulness lead to actual IS usage, the ISSM indicates that information quality, system quality, and service quality affect IS usage and user satisfaction. Upon literature review, however, we found a significant void in theoretical development and its applications that employ either of the two models, and we raise research questions. First of all, in spite of the causal relationship between intention to use and actual usage, in most previous studies, only intention to use was employed as a dependent variable without overt explaining its relationship with actual usage. Moreover, even in a few studies that employed actual IS usage as a dependent variable, the degree of actual usage was measured based on users' perceptual responses to survey questionnaires. However, the measurement of actual usage based on survey responses might not be 'actual' usage in a strict sense that responders' perception may be distorted due to their selective perceptions or stereotypes. By the same token, the degree of system quality that IS users perceive might not be 'real' quality as well. This study seeks to fill this void by measuring the variables of actual usage and system quality using 'fact' data such as system logs and specifications of users' information and communications technology (ICT) devices. More specifically, we propose an integrated research model that bring together the TAM and the ISSM. The integrated model is composed of both the variables that are to be measured using fact as well as survey data. By employing the integrated model, we expect to reveal the difference between real and perceived degree of system quality, and to investigate the relationship between the perception-based measure of intention to use and the fact-based measure of actual usage. Furthermore, we also aim to add empirical findings on the general research question: what factors influence actual IS usage and how? In order to address the research question and to examine the research model, we selected a mobile campus application (MCA). We collected both fact data and survey data. For fact data, we retrieved them from the system logs such information as menu usage counts, user's device performance, display size, and operating system revision version number. At the same time, we conducted a survey among university students who use an MCA, and collected 180 valid responses. A partial least square (PLS) method was employed to validate our research model. Among nine hypotheses developed, we found five were supported while four were not. In detail, the relationships between (1) perceived system quality and perceived usefulness, (2) perceived system quality and perceived intention to use, (3) perceived usefulness and perceived intention to use, (4) quality of device platform and actual IS usage, and (5) perceived intention to use and actual IS usage were found to be significant. In comparison, the relationships between (1) quality of device platform and perceived system quality, (2) quality of device platform and perceived usefulness, (3) quality of device platform and perceived intention to use, and (4) perceived system quality and actual IS usage were not significant. The results of the study reveal notable differences from those of previous studies. First, although perceived intention to use shows a positive effect on actual IS usage, its explanatory power is very weak ($R^2$=0.064). Second, fact-based system quality (quality of user's device platform) shows a direct impact on actual IS usage without the mediating role of intention to use. Lastly, the relationships between perceived system quality (perception-based system quality) and other constructs show completely different results from those between quality of device platform (fact-based system quality) and other constructs. In the post-hoc analysis, IS users' past behavior was additionally included in the research model to further investigate the cause of such a low explanatory power of actual IS usage. The results show that past IS usage has a strong positive effect on current IS usage while intention to use does not have, implying that IS usage has already become a habitual behavior. This study provides the following several implications. First, we verify that fact-based data (i.e., system logs of real usage records) are more likely to reflect IS users' actual usage than perception-based data. In addition, by identifying the direct impact of quality of device platform on actual IS usage (without any mediating roles of attitude or intention), this study triggers further research on other potential factors that may directly influence actual IS usage. Furthermore, the results of the study provide practical strategic implications that organizations equipped with high-quality systems may directly expect high level of system usage.

Earthquake impacts on hydrology: a case study from the Canterbury, New Zealand earthquakes of 2010 and 2011

  • On 4 September 2010 an earthquake of magnitude 7.1 on the Richter scale occurred on the Canterbury Plains in the South Island of New Zealand. The Canterbury Plains are an area of extensive groundwater and spring fed surface water systems. Since the September earthquake there have been several thousand aftershocks (Fig. 1), the largest being a 6.3 magnitude quake which occurred close to the centre of Christchurch on 22February 2011. This second quake caused extensive damage to the city of Christchurch including the deaths of 189 people. Both of these quakes had marked hydrological impacts. Water is a vital natural resource for Canterburywith groundwater being extracted for potable supply and both ground and surface water being used extensively for agricultural and horticultural irrigation.The groundwater is of very high quality so that the city of Christchurch (population approx. 400,000) supplies untreated artesian water to the majority of households and businesses. Both earthquakes caused immediate hydrological effects, the most dramatic of which was the liquefaction of sediments and the release of shallow groundwater containing a fine grey silt-sand material. The liquefaction that occurred fitted within the empirical relationship between distance from epicentre and magnitude of quake described by Montgomery et al. (2003). . It appears that liquefaction resulted in development of discontinuities in confining layers. In some cases these appear to have been maintained by artesian pressure and continuing flow, and the springs are continuing to flow even now. In spring-fed streams there was an increase in flow that lasted for several days and in some cases flows remained high for several months afterwards although this could be linked to a very wet winter prior to the September earthquake. Analysis of the slope of baseflow recession for a spring-fed stream before and after the September earthquake shows no change, indicating no substantial change in the aquifer structure that feeds this stream.A complicating factor for consideration of river flows was that in some places the liquefaction of shallow sediments led to lateral spreading of river banks. The lateral spread lessened the channel cross section so water levels rose although the flow might not have risen accordingly. Groundwater level peaks moved both up and down, depending on the location of wells. Groundwater level changes for the two earthquakes were strongly related to the proximity to the epicentre. The February 2011 earthquake resulted in significantly larger groundwater level changes in eastern Christchurch than occurred in September 2010. In a well of similar distance from both epicentres the two events resulted in a similar sized increase in water level but the slightly slower rate of increase and the markedly slower recession recorded in the February event suggests that the well may have been partially blocked by sediment flowing into the well at depth. The effects of the February earthquake were more localised and in the area to the west of Christchurch it was the earlier earthquake that had greater impact. Many of the recorded responses have been compromised, or complicated, by damage or clogging and further inspections will need to be carried out to allow a more definitive interpretation. Nevertheless, it is reasonable to provisionally conclude that there is no clear evidence of significant change in aquifer pressures or properties. The different response of groundwater to earthquakes across the Canterbury Plains is the subject of a new research project about to start that uses the information to improve groundwater characterisation for the region. 행운에 대한 신념과 창업 기회 역량과의 관계에서 우연기술의 매개효과에 관한 연구 (Meditating effect of Planned Happenstance Skills between the Belief in Good luck and Entrepreneurial Opportunity)

  • 성공한 창업가들이나 저명인사들에게 성공의 요인을 물어보면 운이 좋았다고 이야기를 한다. 주목해야할 사실은 운이 좋았다고 말하지만 운과 관련된 태도가 다르다는 것이다. 하지만 운이 좋다고 생각하는 신념은 현실적으로 지배적인 개념임에도 불구하고 그동안 행운에 대한 과학적 검증이 많지 않았다. 본 연구에서는 행운은 외부 환경에 의해서 무작위로 정해지는 것이 아니라 개인의 내적 속성으로 운을 통제 할 수 있다는 것으로 보았다. 본 연구의 차별성은 선행연구들이 주로 행운을 기업가적 자질 유형 중 내적 통제 위치(Internal Locus of Control)로 그치고 노력에 의해 창업 성공을 거둘 수 있다는 막연한 논리에 머문 것에 비하여 본 연구는 어떠한 노력이 행운을 가져오는 지를 실증적으로 규명하였다는 데에 그 의의가 있다. 운이 좋다는 것에 대해서는 자신이 믿고 싶은 것과 일치하는 방향으로 자신의 경험을 해석하는 확증편향을 오류를 회피하기 위하여 행운에 대한 신념의 개념을 도입하였고 선행 연구의 행운에 대한 신념 질문지를 사용하여, 행운에 대한 신념이 있는 사람은 우연기술을 매개로 하여 기회역량을 높일 수 있다는 것을 검증하고자 하였다. 종속 변수로 기회역량을 설정한 이유는 기회를 인식하고 활용하는 과정이야 말로 창업 연구에서 핵심적인 부분이라는 기존 연구에 기반을 두었다. 실증연구를 위하여 총 332명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였고 분석결과 첫째, 행운의 신념은 우연기술의 하위요인인 호기심, 인내성, 유연성, 낙관성, 위험감수 모두에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 우연기술의 하위요인 중 인내성, 낙관성, 위험감수만이 기회역량에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것을 나타났다. 셋째, 우연기술의 하위요인인 인내성, 낙관성, 위험감수는 행운신념과 기회역량의 관계에서 매개효과가 있다고 판단할 수 있었다. 본 연구는 창업자들의 성공을 위해서 핵심 역량인 창업 기회 역량을 더 높이기 위해서는 행운에 대한 높은 신념을 가지고 우연 기술 중 인내성과 낙관성, 위험감수 성향을 높이도록 하는 것이 필요하다는 것을 실증적이며 논리적으로 규명함으로써 창업 보육 및 교육 담당자들에게 성공적인 창업자들을 선발 또는 훈련 프로그램을 기획함에 있어서 구체적인 방향성을 제시한다는 점에서 그 시사하는 바가 크다고 할 수 있겠다.

남성 불임증 환자에 대한 Clomiphene의 효과 (Clomiphene Citrate on Male Infertility)

  • Clomiphene citrate. antiestrogen, was given to 39 infertile males whose spermatogenesis were disturbed and the efficacy of the drug was evaluated at the Department of Urology in 1980. (Table 1). Patients were divided into 3 clinical observation groups such as group I composed of 19 cases of idiopathic azoospermia, group II consisted of 15 cases of oligospermia following the vasovasostomy, and group III comprised 5 cases of testicular azoospermia. (Table 2). Clinical characteristics of these patients were as follows: Age of the patients ranged from 26 to 43 years old with mean of 34, and that of their wives ranged from 24 to 41 years old with mean of 31. Duration of marital life ranged from 1 to 21 years with mean of 5 years. Sizes of testis ranged from 6 to 25 ml with mean of 16 ml. Coital frequency ranged from 0.5 to 6 per week with mean of 2.4 per week. Levels of plasma FSH ranged from 3.15 to 23.06 lU/1 with mean of 8.15 lU/1, those of LH ranged from 2.98 to 19.89 lU/1 with mean of 8.18 lU/1 and those of testosterone ranged from 3.09 to 9.97 ng/ml with mean of 6.48 ng/ml. (Table 3). Clomiphene citrate was given in dosage of 50 mg per day (in d.) orally to 31 patients for 3 to 9 months and in dosage of 100 mg per day (b.i.d.) orally to 8 patients for 3 to 9 months. (Table 8). Semen samples were analysed monthly on each patient by routine analysis techniques. For the assessment of the efficacy of Clomiphene citrate on faulty spermatogenesis following empirical criteria were used: For semen quality: Improvement (I) represents that semen parameter increased more than 25% from basal level after the treatment, Unchange (U) expresses that semen parameter increased less than 25% of basal level or not changed after the treatment and Deterioration (D) means that semen parameter decreased from basal level after the treatment. For fertility unit (total counts ${\times}$ motility ${\times}$ morphology ${\div}10^6$): Improvement (I) represents that fertility unit increased more than 10 units after the treatment, Unchange (U) expresses that fertility unit increased less than 10 units or not changed after the treatment, and Deterioration (D) means that fertility unit decreased after the treatment. (Table 4). Results obtained from the Clomiphene therapy were as follows: Changes of spermiograme before and after the Oomiphene therapy shown in the Table 5. Sperm counts increased from 23 to 31 ${\times}10^6$/ml in group I, from 17 to 29 ${\times}10^6$/ml in group II. Other parameters of spermiogramme were not changed significantly after the treatment. Fertility units increased from 14 to 18 units after the treatment in group I, and from 16 to 18 units after the treatment in group II. Effectiveness of Clomiphene citrate on spermatogenesis was summarised in the Tables 6 and 7. After the treatment, sperm count increased in 11 patients, motility increased in 6 patients, morphology increased in 4 patients and fertility units increased in 9 patients. No sperm could be produced by Clomiphene citrate in group III of testicular azoospermia. Dosage of 50 mg of Clomiphene citrate per day for 3 to 6 months was proved to be the most effective in the present series. (Table 8). Pregnancy occurred in 2 patients after the treatment. No particular side effects were noted by the treatment. Pharmacologic compounds used for male infertility were shown in the Table 9. Reported results of Clomiphene citrate were shown in the Table 10.

학교교육과정의 인구교육내용분석

  • 이 연구는 인천의 정체성을 알아보는 데 연구의 초점을 맞추었다. 연구방법으로는 실증적 방법과 민속학적 방법 두 가지를 병행하였다. 시민단체, 공무원, 학생을 대상으로 임의목적표본방법을 사용하여 총 613명이 분석되었다. 분석방법은 교차통계분석 및 다중분류분석을 하였다. 정체성은 한 지역에 거주하는 주민들의 집단결속력과 성취도를 결정하여 주며, 그 지역의 사회적 통합과도 밀접한 관련을 지니고 있어서, 지역의 문제나 관심사를 해결하고 발전시키는데 가장 핵심적인 요소이다. 인천의 정체의식은 세 집단 모두 낮으며, 전체응답자의 절반 이상은 그저 그렇다는 중용의 의견이었다. 인천에 대한 정체의식을 응답집단의 특성별로 보면 여자보다는 남자가 높고, 기혼자보다는 미혼자가 높으며, 30세 이상으로 연령이 많을수록, 수입과 생활수준이 낮을수록 정체의식이 상대적으로 높게 나타났다. 그리고 전문.관리.사무직보다는 판매.서비스.생산.농업직 종사자들의 정체의식이 높았다. 전문대 정도의 교육을 받은 시민의 정체의식이 상대적으로 높고, 인천의 문화.복지.환경개선을 위한 특별기금 기부의사가 있는 시민과 인천을 마음붙이고 살 곳으로 생각하는 시민의 정체의식이 높다. 총괄적인 의미에서 본 인천의 정체성에 관한 조사를 보면, 인천은 "주인의식 없음"과 "이제부터 만들어 가야 한다"는 답변이 제일 많았고 그 다음은 "포용력", "선구적 개척정신", "긍정적인 의미의 짠물", "합중시(合衆市)적 다양성", "외세에 대한 호국정신", "세계의 관문도시"로 나타났다. 이와 같은 응답유형으로 보아서는 인천지역에 대한 이미지를 한마디로 딱 잘라 말하기는 어렵다. 그러나 인천은 서울.경기인, 충청인, 호남인, 영남인, 이북인, 외국인 등을 가리지 않고 받아드리는 "포용력이 있는 합중시적 다양성을 가진 도시"로 지역차가 서로 다른 출신성분이 공존할 수 있다는 점에서 의미하는 바가 크다. 이는 "세계속의 도시"와 "동북아의 거점도시"를 추구하는 미래지향적인 시각에서는 지역주의를 지양하고 지역통합이슈와 세계화 물결속에서 외국인에게도 열린 상태문화를 제공하는 관문이 될 것이라는 면에서 인천이 추구해야 할 정체성으로 시사하는 점이라고 본다.는 미래지향적인 시각에서는 지역주의를 지양하고 지역통합이슈와 세계화 물결속에서 외국인에게도 열린 상태문화를 제공하는 관문이 될 것이라는 면에서 인천이 추구해야 할 정체성으로 시사하는 점이라고 본다.

  • 본 연구는 국내 소상공인의 사업성과에 영향을 미치는 요인 중 개인 요인인 창업가 특성과 환경요인인 시장특성이 사업성과에 미치는 영향과 디지털 리터러시의 매개효과를 밝히는 것을 목적으로 한다. 현재 소상공인은 디지털 기술의 확산과 코로나 19의 장기화로 인해 기존의 방식으로 사업을 영위해 나가기 어려운 상황에 직면해 있다. 이들에게 필요한 역량의 하나로 본 연구에서는 디지털 리터러시에 주목하였으며, 디지털 리터러시가 소상공인 개인·시장의 특성, 사업성과와 어떠한 관계에 있는지 살펴보았다. 선행연구에서 소상공인의 사업성과를 설명하는 다양한 요인을 검토하였으며 소상공인의 창업가특성인 혁신성과 자기결정성, 시장특성인 시장의 경쟁정도와 성장성을 독립변수로 도출하고 재무적 성과와 비재무적 성과를 종속변수로 설정하였다. 디지털 리터러시는 독립변수와 종속변수 간의 관계를 매개하는 역할을 할 것으로 보고 가설을 설정하였다. 실증연구를 위해 전국의 소상공인을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였고 분석결과를 정리하면 다음과 같다. 소상공인의 혁신성과 자기결정성은 재무적 성과와 비재무적 성과에 정(+)의 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 시장의 경쟁정도는 재무적·비재무적 성과에 유의한 영향이 없으며 시장의 성장성은 재무적 성과와 비재무적 성과에 유의한 정(+)의 영향이 있음을 확인하였다. 디지털 리터러시의 매개효과의 경우, 혁신성이 비재무적 성과에 미치는 영향에 대해 부분매개효과가 있으며 시장의 경쟁정도가 재무적 성과와 비재무적 성과에 미치는 영향에 대하여 디지털 리터러시는 완전매개효과가 있음을 확인하였다. 마지막으로 성장성이 비재무적 성과에 미치는 영향에 대하여 디지털 리터러시는 부분매개효과가 있음을 확인하였다. 결과를 살펴보면, 혁신성과 자기결정성에 해당하는 소상공인의 창업가 특성은 직접적으로 사업성과를 높이는 요인으로 작용하며, 시장특성은 간접적으로 디지털 리터러시를 높여서 성과를 올리는 효과가 있음을 알 수 있다. 이상의 연구결과를 토대로 연구의 시사점과 한계점, 그리고 향후 연구방향을 함께 제시하였다.

지속가능한 비즈니스모델 설계 도구: 소셜벤처 사례를 중심으로 (The Tool to Design Sustainable Business Models: A Case Study for the Social Ventures)

  • 성공적인 비즈니스를 위해서 지속가능성과 관련된 도전과 기회들을 이해하는 것이 중요하다. 기존의 비즈니스모델 캔버스는 사회에 미치는 장기적인 영향과 관계없이 '성공'으로 식별되는 비즈니스 모델을 만들 수 있다. 하지만 지속가능한 비즈니스모델에 대한 원칙과 지침이 추가되지 않으면 새로운 한계에 직면할 수 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 경제적인 미션뿐만 아니라 사회적, 환경적 미션을 함께 수행해야 하는 소셜벤처를 중심으로 지속가능한 비즈니스 모델 설계를 위한 도구들을 살펴보고 활용도를 모색하는 데 있다. 이러한 연구 목적을 달성하기 위해 소셜벤처 창업가들의 경영사례를 분석하여 경제적, 환경적, 사회적 세 가지 관점의 비즈니스 모델을 정립하여 지속가능성을 높일 수 있는 기회를 탐색했다. 본 연구는 기존 선행연구의 한계점을 극복하고자 TLBMC (Triple Layered Business Model Canvas)를 사용하여 소셜벤처가 지녀야할 경제적, 환경적, 사회적 관점으로 다양하게 분석하였다. 그 결과 다음과 같은 시사점을 가지고 있다. 첫째, 경제적 요소를 사회적, 환경적 요구와 연결 가능한 기회를 살펴보았다. 둘째, 소셜벤처의 특성인 환경적 사회적 관점을 실무에 활용 할 수 있음을 확인했다. 셋째, 소셜벤처 비즈니스 모델의 경험 자료를 구축했다. 본 연구는 질적연구의 특징인 참여자의 관점, 참여자의 의미, 참여자의 다양한 주관적 견해에 초점을 맞추어 진행하여, 도출된 전반적인 의미에 대해 연구자의 주장으로 결론이 마무리되는 사례연구로서의 한계를 가지고 있다. 그러나 본 연구의 새로운 접근법은 향후 지속가능한 성공을 위한 새로운 비즈니스 모델 설계의 기회를 제공하고 있다. 또한 실증연구를 위한 기초단계로서 소셜벤처 비즈니스 모델연구에 기초가 될 수 있을 것이다. 지속가능한 비즈니스의 기회를 이해하기 위해 향후 더 많은 사례연구와 개선된 도구에 대한 검증과 피드백에 관련된 연구가 계속 되어야 할 것이다.

특허경영이 신사업 개발 성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구: 융합 전문가 협동의 매개효과 중심으로 (A Study on the Effect of Patent Management on New Business Development Performance : Focusing on the Mediation Effect of Convergence Expert Cooperation)

  • 본 연구는 융합전문가 협동을 중심으로 특허경영이 신사업 개발 성과에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구이다. 기존의 연구는 특허경영에 관해 정량적인 특허지표를 통해 사업성과에 미치는 영향을 파악하는 것이 대부분이어서 특허 경영이 융합전문가 협동을 통해 신사업 개발 성과에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구가 매우 미흡한 실정이었다. 따라서 본 연구를 통해 기존의 특허 경영이 신사업 개발 성과에 미치는 영향과 융합전문가 협동을 중심으로 특허경영이 신사업 개발성과에 미치는 영향의 인과관계를 살펴보았으며, 가설 실증분석 검증 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 특허경영은 매개변수인 융합 전문가 협동에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 특허경영은 융합 전문가 육성, 융합전문가 활용에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 특허경영은 신사업 개발 성과에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 특허경영은 사업의 성공 여부, 목표 매출액 달성 여부, 새로운 시장 개척, 새로운 기술의 개발, 고객 요구사항의 반영정도에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 융합 전문가 협동을 매개로 한 특허경영은 신사업 개발 성과 중 재무적성과에 부(-)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 융합 전문가 협동을 매개로 한 특허경영은 신사업 개발 성과 중 비 재무적성과에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 재무적 성과로는 사업 성공 여부, 목표 매출액 달성 여부이며, 비 재무적 성과로는 새로운 기술 개발, 새로운 시장 개척 등이다. 따라서 국내 융합 신사업 개발 기업들의 지속적인 경영성과 창출을 위해서는 정(+)의 영향이 확인된 융합 전문가 협동을 중심으로 새로운 기술 개발과 새로운 시장 개척을 통하여 신사업 개발성과로 연계될 수 있도록 힘써야 함을 시사점으로 제시하고 있다.
