모-자녀 성격조화유형에 따른 어머니 양육행동과 아동의 자아존중감 및 정서지능 (The Goodness of Fit between Mother′s and Child′s Personality, Maternal Childrearing Behaviors, and Children′s Self-esteem and Emotional Intelligence)

  • The patterns of mother-child personality match were investigated in the study. Further, the impact of goodness-of-fit between mother′s and child′s personality on maternal childrearing behaviors, child′s self-esteem, and child′s emotional intelligence was explored. The participants of this study were 1,060 fifth graders and their mothers from four different cities(Seoul. Suwon, Daejon, and Daegu). Six patterns of mother-child personality match were derived through cluster analysis and discriminant analysis. The most harmonious pattern in which maternal childrearing behavior was positive and child′s self-esteem and emotional intelligence were high appeared between mothers and children with high "stability" and "superiority" The least harmonious pattern was shown for the mothers with low "responsibility" and "reflectiveness" and high "dominance′and "sociability", and the children with low "stability" and "superiority".

대중음악의 시각화를 통한 텍스타일 프린트 패턴디자인 발상 (Creating the Idea of Textile Print Pattern Design Using the Visual Expression of Popular Music)

  • This study develops textile pattern design ideas created through the visualization of music. Methods of auditory and synesthesia were employed to analyze various attributes of popular music genres and appoint language image, shape image, and color image to obtain their interrelationships. This study provides data that can be used to express emotional images on textile print pattern designs. This research used different genres of popular music as stimuli. The language image was extracted and introduced to the overall color scheme; in addition, the color image was verified. The analysis of the color image was executed by applying it with the color set image scale of I.R.I colors. Then, the color image of the target genre of popular music was examined and analyzed through a color tone system. The preference in shape image was realized through visual images based on basic principles of points, lines, and sides composition; subsequently, an analysis of the emotional image of popular music followed. An examination of the emotional images of different popular music genres have led to the discovery that language image, color image, and shape image all share a common emotional image. There was also a realization that similarity and interrelationship exists in language, color, and shape images experienced by listening to popular music.

아동의 정서 표현성과 사교성, 어머니의 의사소통 유형이 아동의 친사회적 행동에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of Children's Emotional Expression and Sociability, and Their Mothers' Communication Pattern on Their Prosocial Behavior)

  • This study investigated the influence of children's emotional expression and sociability, and their mothers' communication pattern on their prosocial behavior. The participants were 65 preschool children aged between 5 and 6, and their mothers. Each child-mother dyad was observed for 30 minutes in a lab setting, which was designed to evaluate the child's socioemotional competence and the mother's socialization behavior. Videotaped data were analyzed by two coders for aspects of sharing behavior, the expression of happiness, sadness, anger, anxiety, and sociability for children, and mothers' communication strategies. Results showed that children's anger and anxiety expression were the most significant predictors for their prosocial behavior. Mothers' punitive communication pattern negatively affected children's prosocial behavior. However, when compared to the children's emotional expression, its' accountability were not significant. The influence of negative emotions, and its' adverse role in interpersonal interactions are discussed.

ASM-LK Optical Flow 기반 최적 얼굴정서 특징분석 기법 (Optimal Facial Emotion Feature Analysis Method based on ASM-LK Optical Flow)

  • 얼굴영상에서 나타나는 정서특징을 분석하기 위하여 본 논문에서는 Active Shape Model (ASM)과 Lucas-Kanade (LK) optical flow 기법을 기반으로 하는 특징검출 및 분석방법을 제안한다. Facial Action Coding System에 근거하여 묘사된 정서적 특징을 고려하여, 특징이 분포하는 영역에 위치한 다수의 landmark로 shape 모델을 구성하고 모델에서 각 Landmark를 중심으로 하는 움직임 벡터 윈도우 내부의 픽셀에 대한 LK 기법을 통해 optical flow 벡터를 추출한다. 추출된 움직임 벡터의 방향성 조합에 근거하여 얼굴정서특징을 shape 모델로 표현할 수 있으며, 베이지안 분류기라는 확률 기반 추론기법을 기반으로 정서적 상태에 대한 추정할 수 있다. 또한, 정서특징분석과정의 연산 효율성과 정확성 향상을 도모하기 위하여 common spatial pattern (CSP) 분석기법을 적용하여 정서상태 별로 상관성이 높은 특징만으로 구성된 최적정서특징을 추출한다.

마감재를 통한 공간감성 표현에 관한 연구 - 감성어휘 평가와 요인분석을 통해 - (A Study on Expression of Space Emotion by Finishing Materials - According to Evaluation of Emotional Vocabulary and Factor Analysis -)

  • The purpose of this study is to use as the basic data for design method in commercial space. So, we analyzed whether any emotion was induced by finishing materials in the commercial space. And we was to suggest expression methods of finish materials to induce in the emotional space. The results of this study are as follows : First, we could know that the emotional design is needed to enhance satisfaction of consumers. The role of finishing material is very important in emotional expression in the commercial space. Second, we extracted the adjectives vocabulary(14 pairs) to evaluate the space emotion. we could educe the four kinds of space emotion by Factor Analysis. In addition, we could arrange the emotional words to represent each space type(Decoration : 5 pairs, Expand : 4 pairs, Limitation : 3 pairs, Hierarchy : 2 pairs). Third, to use finishing materials and wall is very effective to induce the emotion in the emotional space. To use the color is good among the elements of finishing materials. Fourth, We could find that the center of the types of emotional space was induced with the boundary and the decoration. If we use contrasting colors and accent colors in the commercial space, we can induce the center and the boundary together. And if we use colorful or unusual patterns, we can induce the center and the decoration together. Fifth, To induce the expand, we should finish with one color in space. And To induce the center, we should finish with one type of the color or pattern and then we should partially use the contrast color and special pattern. the case of boundary, it is good method to part emphasize by color, texture and materials. And we can induce the decoration with materials and patterns.

아동의 성취동기와 관련된 변인들: 어머니의 의사소통유형 및 정서적지지와 아동의 자아존중감 (Correlates of Children's Achievement Motivation: Mother's Conversation Pattern, Maternal Emotional Support, and Children's Self-Esteem)

  • The main purpose of this study was to examine the relationships among Mother's Conversation Patterns, Maternal Emotional Support, and Children's self-esteem and motivation to achieve. The subjects of the study were 262 children's in the 5th and 6th grades at an elementary school in Seoul and Gyeonggi. The major results of this study are as follows: The achievement motivation of female children was higher than that of male children. Second, the mother's conversation patterns, maternal emotional support and children's self-esteem were related to the children's achievement motivation. Third, according to the results of an examination of the relative influence of the variables, the child's self-esteem and mother's open communication had an effect on the child's achievement motivation. This high level of self-esteem and motivation to act positively led to high achievement motivation.

외식 소비 성향에 따른 감정 반응이 만족도에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Emotional Response on Satisfaction according to the Dining-Out Consumption Pattern)

  • 본 연구는 고급 한정식 레스토랑 이용 경험이 있는 고객을 대상으로 외식 소비 성향을 파악하여 외식 경험을 통해 느꼈던 감정 반응이 외식 결과 만족도에 미치는 영향을 분석하고자 문헌연구를 통하여 연구모형을 설계하고 가설을 도출하였다. 실증분석을 위하여 자기기입식(self-administered) 방법을 사용하여 총 250부의 설문지를 배포하여 235부(94%)의 설문지를 회수하였으며, 최종적으로 220부(88%)의 설문지가 분석에 사용되었다. 자료처리는 SPSS WIN Version 12.0 통계패키지 프로그램을 사용하여 분석하였으며, 빈도분석, 신뢰도분석과 요인분석을 실시하였으며, 가설 검증은 회귀분석을 통하여 검증하였다. 연구결과 "외식 소비 성향은 감정 반응에 유의한 영향을 미칠 것이다"에서는 건강 추구형과 관계 충성형은 즐거움에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 증명되었으나, 휴식 추구형은 즐거움에 유의하지 않는 것으로 나타났으며, 건강 추구형과 관계 충성형은 자극에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 증명되었으나, 휴식 추구형은 자극에 유의하지 않는 것으로 나타났다. "감정 반응은 만족도에 유의한 영향을 미칠 것이다"에서는 즐거움과 자극은 만족도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 증명되었다. 본 연구 결과 외식 소비 성향은 과거 생물학적 욕구를 충족시키기 위해서 단순히 식사 자체를 충족시키기 위한 목적과는 달리 현재 외식 소비 성향은 자신의 선호 취향이나 분위기 등 감정 반응의 중요성이 부각되고 있음을 보여주는 결과라고 사료된다.

Emotional Reactions, Sentiment Disagreement, and Bitcoin Trading

  • Purpose - This study aims to explore the influence of emotional discrepancies among investors on the cryptocurrency market. It focuses on how varying emotions affect market dynamics such as volatility and trading volume in the context of Bitcoin trading. Design/methodology/approach - This study involves analyzing data from Bitcointalk.org, consisting of 57,963 posts and 2,215,776 responses from November 22, 2009, to December 31, 2022. Tools used include the Linguistic Inquiry and Word Count (LIWC) software for classifying emotional content and the Python Pattern library for sentiment analysis. Findings - The results show that heterogeneous emotional feedback, whether positive or negative, significantly influences Bitcoin's intraday volatility, skewness, and trading volume. These findings are more pronounced when the underlying emotion in the feedback is amplified. Research implications or Originality - This study underscores the significance of emotional factors in financial decision-making, especially within the realm of social media. It suggests that investors and market strategists should consider the emotional landscape of online forums when making investment choices or formulating market strategies. The research also paves the way for future studies regarding the behavioral impact of emotions on the cryptocurrency market.
