This case used MI techniques that give an imagery experience to depressed client's mental resource, and that makes in to verbalism. Also those images are supportive level therapy examples that apply to positive variation. MI is simple word of 'Music and Imagery' with one of psychology cure called GIM(Guided Imagery and Music). It makes client can through to the inner world and search, confront, discern and solve with suitable music. Supportive Level MI is only used from safety level music. Introduction of private session can associate specification feeling, subject, word or image. And those images are guide to positive experience. The First session step of MI program is a prelude that makes concrete goal like first interview. The Second step is a transition that can concretely express about client's story. The third step is induction and music listening. And it helps to associate imagery more easily by used tension relaxation. Also it can search and associate about various imagery from the music. The last step is process that process drawing imagery, talking about personal imagery experience in common with therapist that bring the power by expansion the positive experience. Client A case targets rapport forming(empathy, understanding and support), searching positive recourse(child hood, family), client's emotion and positive support. Music must be used simple tone, repetition melody, steady rhythm and organized by harmony music of what therapist and client's preference. The client used defense mechanism and couldn't control emotion by depression in 1 & 2 sessions. But the result was client A could experience about support and understanding after 3 sessions. After session 4 the client had stable, changed to positive emotion from the negative emotion and found her spontaneous. Therefore, at the session 6, the client recognized that she will have step of positive time at the future. About client B, she established rapport forming(empathy, understanding and support) and searching issues and positive recognition(child hood, family), expression and insight(present, future). The music was comfortable, organizational at the session 1 & 2, but after session 3, its development was getting bigger and the main melody changed variation with high and low of tune. Also it used the classic and romantic music. The client avoids bad personal relations to religious relationship. But at the session 1 & 2, client had supportive experience and empathy because of her favorite, supportive music. After session 3, client B recognized and face to face the present issue. But she had avoidance and face to face of ambivalence. The client B had a experience about emotion change according depression and face to face client's issues After session 4. At the session 5 & 6, client tried to have will power of healthy life and fairly attitude, train mental power and solution attitude in the future. On this wise, MI program had actuality and clients' issues solution more than GIM program. MI can solute the issue by client's based issue without approach to unconsciousness like GIM. Especially it can use variety music and listening time is shorter than GIM and structuralize. Also can express client's emotion very well. So it can use corrective and complement MI program to children, adolescent and adult.
The purpose of the present driving simulation study was to examine the effect of cellular-phone use on driving performance when required driving speeds were systematically varied(60, 80, 100, or 120km/h) while either using cellular-phones(experimental condition; Hands-Free or Hands-Held) or not(control condition). Driving performance was measured both by longitudinal vehicle control(i.e., variabilities in driving speed and headway) and lateral vehicle control(variabilities in lane position). The results can be summarized as followings: (1) The significant difference in driving speed variation between the two cellular-phone usage conditions was found only at relatively higher driving speed conditions(i.e., over 80km/h). (2) Only in the experimental condition where cellular-phone was required to be used while driving, the magnitudes of variation in driving speed, headway and lane position were gradually increased as the required driving speeds were increased(this tendency was not found in control condition). And. (3) the dependent measures of this study appeared to suggest that cellular-phone usage itself (rather than the types of cellular-phone) had significant impact on driving performance. Finally, implication and issues related to this study were discussed.

This thesis alms at analyzing various effects of color contrast, process of color, hue variation, and use of color according to the atmosphere of each cut and the process of plot by selecting the children's picture books which were published abroad and home on the basis of color concept, emotion, and image association which children feel In order to Investigate and analyze the symbolism of color and emotional effect expressed through the illustration of children's picture book, and presenting a direction of color use to produce high-level children's picture book with illustrators individuality and artistry.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the variation in pupil size as shown in the scientific hypothesis generation process of students in Elementary School. The subjects for research consisted of 20 fifth-year students at Seoul B elementary school who agreed to participate in the research. The task consisted of four scientific hypothesis-generating tasks. SMI's Eye Tracker(iView $X^{TM}$ RED) was used to collect eye movement data. Experiment 3.6 and BeGaze 3.6 softwares were used to plan experiment and analyzed the task performance process and eye movement data. The findings of this study are twofold. First, there were four types that generate hypothesis about the tasks. Second, in the moment of generating hypothesis, participants' pupils have grown bigger. And while thinking of generating hypothesis or elaborating hypothesis, there were no big changes. These results show the moment of generating hypothesis is affected by emotional factors besides cognitive factors.
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of secondary task such as sending text message (STM) and searching navigation (SN) using the variable indicating control of vehicle ((Medial-Lateral Coefficient of Variation, MLCV), (Anterior-Posterior Coefficient of Variation, APCV)) and motion signal (Jerk-Cost function, JC). Participants included 50s taxi drivers; 14 males and 14 females. Participants were instructed to keep a certain distance (30m) from the car ahead with constant speed (80km/hr or 100km/hr). Experiement consisted of driving alone for 1minute and driving with secondary task for 1minute. Both MLCV and APCV were significantly increased during Driving + Sending Text Message(STM) and Driving + Searching Navigation(SN) than Driving only. Also, JC was increased during Driving + STM and Driving + SN than Driving only. In this study, we found that even in the experts group who are taxi driver and have 25 years driving experience, the smoothness of motion is decreased and the control of vehicle is disturbed when they were performing secondary tasks like sending text message or searching navigation.
The purpose of this study was to quantitatively evaluate the effects of the secondary task while simulated driving using the variable indicating control of vehicle and smoothness of motion. Fifteen healthy adults having 1~2years driving experience were participated. 9 markers were attached on the subjects' upper(shoulder, elbow, Wrist) and lower(knee, ankle, toe) limbs and all subjects were instructed to keep the 30m distance with the front vehicle running at 80km/hr speed. Sending text message(STM) and searching navigation(SN) were selected as the secondary task. Experiment consisted of driving alone for 1 min and driving with secondary task for 1 min, and was defined driving and cognition blocks respectively. To indicate the effects of secondary task, coefficient of variation of distance between vehicles and lane keeping(APCV and MLCV) and jerk-cost function(JC) were analyzed. APCV was increased by 222.1% in SN block. MLCV was increased by 318.2% in STM and 308.4% in SN. JC were increased at the drivers' elbow, knee, ankle and toe, especially the total mean JC of lower limbs were increased by 218.2% in STM and 294.7% in SN. Conclusively, Performing secondary tasks while driving decreased the smoothness of motion with increased JC and disturbed the control of vehicle with increased APCV and MLCV.
Purpose - The purpose of this study was to examine the variations in emotions during vacation and to explore if such variations depend on psychological distance perceived by vacationers. We proposed that there are changes in affect balance during the course of vacation as well as the mental construal of psychological distance. Research Design, Data, and Methodology - Repeated measures ANOVA was used to examine the variation in emotion and psychological distance of 66 holiday makers who were traveling to different destination for vacation. Data were collected in 2 months with the help of a travel agency. Results - We find that there are variations in emotions during the vacation at different points in time as well as perceived psychological distance. Also we find some evidence that suggests emotional happiness does depend on perceived mental distance to some extent. Conclusion - Our study replicates the findings of previous studies in a novel way and illustrates the robustness of the nature of emotions during vacation and indicates certain time points where the happiness of vacationers can be enhanced. Perceived psychological distance do have an effect on how happy an individual feels during the vacation.

The purpose of this work is to suggest the optimal color temperature, which induces a sense of comfort for autonomous vehicle users through the analysis of biosignal using electroencephalography (EEG) and photoplethysmography (PPG). To achieve this purpose, we applied lighting with a color temperature of 3000 K, 4000 K, 5000 K, and 6000 K to the autonomous driving environment. We experimented in a laboratory equipped with a graphic driving simulator. The experimental procedure is as follows: 1) stabilization (5 min). 2) Uchida-Kraepelin test (3 min). 3) Automatic driving + lighting (3 min). This procedure was repeated four times under different color temperatures. We performed frequency analysis on a collected time-series data and calculated the power value for each frequency band through power spectrum analysis. In the case of EEG, we analyzed α- and β-waves, which are indicators of stability and arousal, respectively. In the case of PPG, we analyzed the sympathetic nervous system activity. To reduce deviations between the subjects, we normalized the data before analysis. The result of the first analysis revealed that α-wave increased only at 5000 K, while the β-wave increased at almost all color temperatures. In addition, in the case of PPG, sympathetic nervous system activity (SNSA) increased under driving conditions. The result of the second analysis revealed that the difference between β-wave and SNSA is insignificant. In conclusion, the increase in α-waves showed that EEG was most stable at 5000 K. The results of this study can be applied to the upcoming autonomous driving era to induce high driver satisfaction. Furthermore, this approach could eventually lead to the acceptance of autonomous vehicles by suggesting a positive effect of autonomous driving.
This study was carried out to investigate sound sensation of Korean traditional silk fabrics with similar sound pressure levels (SPL) and to identify secondary physical factors excluding SPL which determine sound sensation of the fabrics. Sounds of the silk fabrics tended to be perceived differently from one another as for some of sensation such as clearness ant roughness. They were felt more strongly in aspects of loudness, roughness, and highness than of softness, sharpness, clearness, and pleasantness. Subjective clearness, roughness, and highness were significantly correlated with some of sound parameters including roughness(z), ${\Delta}L,\;and\;{\Delta}f$. Especially, both of clearness and roughness which were varied among the fabrics were found as determined by ${\Delta}L$. This result means that ${\Delta}L$ as well as roughness(z) and ${\Delta}f$ could be utilized secondary to SPL in order to satisfy some of human sensibility for sound from traditional silk fabrics without variation of physical loudness.
For scoring polygraph charts, the Prosecutors' Office of the Republic of Korea uses a consistency criterion in which an elevated signal on one physiological channel is scored as a deceptive response only if the signal is also elevated on other channels. In the current study, the effects of this scoring criterion on reliability and accuracy (validity) of polygraph scores were assessed. Polygraph tests on 26 suspects were evaluated twice by the same examiners. The examiners used the consistency criterion in the first evaluation. In the second evaluation, the examiners were prevented from using the criterion; the signals from each physiological channel were separated and randomly arranged before they were rescored by the same examiner. Reliability was assessed by the variation among the scores for each suspect. Accuracy was assessed by establishing a standard, based on a Latent Class Analysis model, using the results of polygraph tests on each of 182 additional suspects. Reliability and accuracy were both improved by the use of the consistency criterion which therefore was recommended.
