The awareness and demand for technological elements in the field of cloud computing and their application models have increased. Cloud-based service information systems are being expanded for use in many applications. Advancements in information technology are directly related to spatial information. PaaS is an important platform for implementing a substantial cloud ecosystem to develop geo-based application services. For this reason, it is necessary to analyze the PaaS cloud technology prior to the development of SaaS. The PaaS cloud supports sharing of related extensions, database operations and management, and application development and deployment. The development of geo-spatial information systems or services based on PaaS in ranging the domestic and overseas range is in the initial stages of both research and application. In this study, state-of-the-art cloud computing is reviewed and a conceptual design for geo-based applications is presented. The proposed model is based on container methods, which are the core elements of PaaS cloud technology based on open source. It is thought that these technologies contribute to the applicability and scalability of the geo-spatial information industry that addresses cloud computing. It is expected that the results of this study will provide a technological base for practical service implementation and experimentation for geo-based applications.

In this paper, we proposed a service that provides CPA/TCPA information to ships, without ARPA/ATA devices to support decision making of the navigator for maritime safety based on various services at shore and off-shore. To verify the proposed service, we use SiNAS (scenario-based simulator for NAS) with CPA/TCPA information providing software to evaluate its usability, because executing the test in real ship has many limitations and difficulties. To do this, we specify two simulation scenarios for the required purpose, and we liaise twelve participants with various navigation experience to conduct the simulations. Also, we analyze the results of simulation using mission success or not, the minimum approaching distance with the target ship, the time of a recognition the target ship, the time of a first action for collision avoidance with the target ship, and so on. Then, we evaluate usability of the proposed service based on the three elements which are effectiveness, efficiency and satisfaction.

The aim of this study is to find out Korean electronic industries' production network in Hanoi Red River Delta, Vietnam and its change based on customer-following overseas expansion. In-depth interviews with Korean subcontractors were conducted to examine the characteristics of customer-following overseas expansion of Korean subcontractors. Korean subcontracting corporations in electronic industries have expanded into Vietnam as the suppliers to Korean transnational corporations. Since 1990s, Korean corporations have invested into Vietnam but since late 2000s its industrial and geographical concentration has been shifted from textile and clothing industries in Southern Vietnam to electronics in Northern Vietnam. The customer-following overseas expansion of the subcontractors has emerged in three aspects: physical proximity, asymmetrical inter-firm relations and organizational embeddedness. During the process of customer-following overseas expansion, Korean electronic industry production network was transplanted into Vietnam and partially modified. This is because the company's hierarchy and difficulties in changing its trading relationship have affected the process of advancing into overseas markets. Korean transnational corporations seek to establish a stable suppliers through expansion accompanying with its subcontractors, and providing financial and non-financial support to its subcontractors.

In recent years most of personalized recommender systems in electronic commerce utilize collaborative filtering algorithm in order to recommend more appropriate items. User-based collaborative filtering is based on the ratings of other users who have similar preferences to a user in order to predict the rating of an item that the user hasn't seen yet. This nay decrease the accuracy of prediction because the similarity between two users is computed with respect to the two users and only when an item has been rated by the users. In item-based collaborative filtering, the preference of an item is predicted based on the similarity between the item and each of other items that have rated by users. This method, however, uses the ratings of users who are not the neighbors of a user for computing the similarity between a pair of items. Hence item-based collaborative filtering may degrade the accuracy of a recommender system. In this paper, we present a new approach that a user's neighborhood is used when we compute the similarity between the items in traditional item-based collaborative filtering in order to compensate the weak points of the current item-based collaborative filtering and to improve the prediction accuracy. We empirically evaluate the accuracy of our approach to compare with several different collaborative filtering approaches using the EachMovie collaborative filtering data set. The experimental results show that our approach provides better quality in prediction and recommendation list than other collaborative filtering approaches.

In this study, an optimal design for motor-driven track type traveling system applied into high clearance working machineries in orchard is proposed. Tractive performance and hill climbing ability were predicted and evaluated for the optimal motor traveling system by taking into account of soil characteristics in orchard utilizing the high clearance working machineries. Design criteria for tractive performance were based on the traction force calculated from tractive effort subtracted by motion resistance, while hill climbing ability had its design criteria that fulfill the climbing 20% slope ground at a speed of 3km/h. Based on the evaluation results of traction and climbing ability, two DC48V, 4500rpm, 1.6kW AC motors were independently applied to both left and right side of orbits; each motor is designed to transmit power on driving sprocket of track type traveling system via 50:1 reduction gear ratio. The motor-driven track type traveling system developed in the study found to have 396 kgf of tractive force, which is 12.5% higher than climbing resistance at orchard soil having 20% slope ground (352 kgf), demonstrating sufficient tractive performance and hill climbing ability.

Recent advancements in industries and technologies have resulted in an increase in the volume of transportation, management, and distribution of logistics. Radio-frequency identification (RFID) technologies have been developed to efficiently manage such a large amount of logistics information. The use of RFID for management is being applied not only to the logistics industry, but also to the power transmission and energy management field. However, due to the limitation of program development capacity, the RFID device is limited in development, and this limitation is vulnerable to security because the existing strong encryption method cannot be used. For this reason, we designed a chaotic system for security with simple operations that are easy to apply to such a restricted environment of RFID. The designed system is a two-dimensional tent map chaotic system. In order to solve the problem of a biased distribution of signals according to the parameters of the chaotic dynamical system, the system has a cryptographic parameter(𝜇1), a distribution parameter(𝜇2), and a parameter(𝜃), which is the constant point, ID value, that can be used as a key value. The designed RFID authentication system is similar to random numbers, and it has the characteristics of chaotic signals that can be reproduced with initial values. It can also solve the problem of a biased distribution of parameters, so it is deemed to be more effective than the existing encryption method using the chaotic system.

As display industry requires various applications for future display technology, which can guarantees high level of flexibility and transparency on display panel, oxide semiconductor materials are regarded as one of the best candidates. $InGaZnO_4$(IGZO) has gathered much attention as a post-transition metal oxide used in active layer in thin-film transistor. Due to its high mobility fabricated at low temperature fabrication process, which is proper for application to display backplanes and use in flexible and/or transparent electronics. Electrical performance of amorphous oxide semiconductors depends on the resistance of the interface between source/drain metal contact and active layer. It is also affected by sheet resistance on IGZO thin film. Controlling contact/sheet resistance has been a hot issue for improving electrical properties of AOS(Amorphous oxide semiconductor). To overcome this problem, post-annealing has been introduced. In other words, through post-annealing process, saturation mobility, on/off ratio, drain current of the device all increase. In this research, we studied on the relation between device's resistance and post-annealing temperature. So far as many post-annealing effects have been reported, this research especially analyzed the change of electrical properties by increasing post-annealing temperature. We fabricated 6 main samples. After a-IGZO deposition, Samples were post-annealed in 5 different temperatures; as-deposited, $100^{\circ}C$, $200^{\circ}C$, $300^{\circ}C$, $400^{\circ}C$ and $500^{\circ}C$. Metal deposition was done on these samples by using Mo through E-beam evaporation. For analysis, three analysis methods were used; IV-characteristics by probe station, surface roughness by AFM, metal oxidation by FE-SEM. Experimental results say that contact resistance increased because of the metal oxidation on metal contact and rough surface of a-IGZO layer. we can suggest some of the possible solutions to overcome resistance effect for the improvement of TFT electrical performances.
