Biometrics consist of technologies that support automatic identification or verification of identity based on behavioral or physical traits. Biometrics can authenticate identities since they measure unique individual characteristics including fingerprints, hand geometry, iris, hand vascular patterns and facial characteristics. we review the state of the hand vascular patterns identification technology and compare other competitive authentication technologies such as cryptography, electronic signature and PKI.

무선 전자상거래(M-Commerce)는 이동 통신 네트워크 기술과 무선 단말기를 기반으로 하여 언제 어디서나 필요한 시점에서 행할 수 있는 상거래를 의미하며 이때, 전자지불 방식의 하나인 전자화폐는 실물화폐와 유사한 성질을 만족해야 한다. 본 논문에서는 이산대수문제에 기반한 메타-메시지 복원과 은닉 서명 기법을 이용하여 전자화폐가 이중사용, 돈 세탁 그리고 불법 무기 구매 둥 부정한 수단으로 악용되었을 때 신뢰센터가 사용자의 익명성을 제어하고 지불 금액을 다시 복원할 수 있는 알고리즘을 제안한다.

본 논문에서는 공인인증서 의무화 사용이 폐지되면서 전자서명 신기술이 도입되고 있으며 이에 국내 전자서명법과 국외 전자서명법에 대한 조사 및 분석을 통해 전자서명 신기술 도입 시 전자서명 기술을 운영하기 위한 법제도적인 지원방안을 제시하였다.

Electronic document communication based on a digital channel is becoming increasingly important with the advent of the paperless age. The electronic document based on PDF format does not provide a powerful customer experience for a mobile device user despite replacing a paper document by providing the content integrity and the independence of various devices and software. On the other hand, the electronic document based on HTML5 format has weakness in the content integrity as there is no HTML5 specification for the content integrity despite its enhanced customer experience such as a responsive web technology for a mobile device user. In this paper, we design the Document-HTML, which provides the content integrity and the powerful customer experience by declaring the HTML5 constraint rules and the extended tags to contain the digital signature based on PKI. We analyze the existing electronic document that has been used in the major financial enterprise to develop a sample. We also verify the Document-HTML by experimenting with the sample of HTML electronic communication documents and analyze the PKI equation. The Document-HTML document can be used as an authorized electronic document communication and provide a powerful customer experience in the mobile environment between an enterprise and a user in the future.

의무기록은 의료행위에 대한 매우 중요한 기록으로 임의로 변경되지 말아야 한다. 현존하는 의무기록은 모두 변경될 수 있는 여지가 있다. 정보기술의 발달로 전자의무기록이 점차 널리 사용되게 되었다. 전자의무기록을 사용함에 따라 암호학적 기반을 이용하여 의무기록 변경을 방지할 수 기법을 사용할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 연결해쉬, 전자서명, 전자공증 등의 암호학적 기법을 이용하여 의무기록 변경을 방지할 수 있는 기법을 제안하고 프로토타입을 통하여 수행을 분석한다. 제안된 기법은 적은 추가비용으로 의무기록 변경을 현실적으로 불가능하도록 한다.

In the Spring of 2000, the Banking Commission of the ICC decided to appoint a working group to draft a supplement to the UCP 500 to clarify the position regarding electronic presentation under a documentary credit. Provisions was drafted to supplement its existing rules for documentary credit, that is, UCP 500. These new provisions known as Supplement to UCP 500 for Electronic Presentation was approved by the ICC Banking Commission at the beginning of November 2001 and came in force as of 1 April 2002 The eUCP covers matters such as definitions of key terms such as electronic record, electronic signature, format, paper document, received. An eUCP Credit must specify the formats in which electronic records are to be presented and if not, electronic records may be presented in any format. Electronic records may be presented separately and need not be presented at the same time. The purpose of this paper is to understand the main substance of eUCP and to facilitate the introduction of electronic letter of credit by studying the problems and revision of eUCP and new electronic UCP. The main substances of eUCP are electronic address as place for presentation of electronic records, flexibility of the formats of electronic records to be presented, endowment of the notice of completeness of presentation to the beneficiary, one electronic record satisfying one or more originals or copies of an electronic record, the electronic records to be examined including the electronic record at the hyperlink to an external system or the referenced system, no remark as to the time period for the examination of documents. The Roles of eUCP are the Promotion of the Electronic Trade, the Supply of Basis on the Uniform Rules for Electronic Letter of Credit, the introduction of Electronic Trade Model. The characteristics of eUCP are a supplement to the UCP, no address of any issues relating to the issuance or advice of Credit electronically, independence of specific technologies and developing electronic commerce system, that is, Bolero Service. The Problems of eUCP are flexibility of format of electronic record, heavy burden on the side of banks, and the problems regrading the number of presentation, the notice of completeness of presentation, no provision in regard to the time to examine the electronic records, and representation of the electronic records. In the revision of eUCP to resolve the problems, the things to be taken into consideration are as follows; the designation of the format allowing the banks to examine electronically, prohibition of the paper documents, the development of the system receiving the electronic records, the addition of the reception notice on the side of the banks, the setting of the time to examine the electronic records, the construction of the backup system or the dual processing system.

정보통시 기술의 비약적인 발전으로 인해 인터넷은 필수 불가결한 도구가 되고 있다. 이러한 정보화 시대의 요구에 대한 교육적 대응은 학습자중심의 교육이며, 정보통신 기술을 기반으로 한 원격 교육이다 WBI(Web Based Instruction)는 웹을 매체로 활용하여 원거리에 있는 학습자를 교육시키는 형태로서 교수자와 학습자간 상호작용을 가능하게 하고, 다양한 형태의 학습 자료를 제공하며 공간적 제약을 극복할 수 있다는 장점이 있다. 그와 더불어 차세대 웹 표준문서 포맷으로 부상되고 있는 XML(extensible Markup Language)을 사용한 규격에 대한 국내외적인 표준화 작업 또한 가속화되고 있으며 최근 XML 보안에 대한 연구가 활성화 되었다. 또한 XML 전자서명은 XML문서를 이용하는 여러 분야에 사용되어 전자서명 시스템간의 상호 연동성을 높일 수 있다. 그리고 앞으로 웹상에서 사용되어지는 공인인증서에 대한 소비자와 관리자의 금전적인 면에서 또한 사용자의 ID PW로 인한 보안적 측면을 고려한 방법으로 XML 전자서명 기법을 이용한 다중인 방식을 추가 시키는 방법이다. 이에 본 논문에서는 시스템 내에서 XML 전자서명 기법을 이용한 다중인증 원격교육 에이전트 시스템을 제안 하였다.

이동 통신기술의 발달로 모바일 환경에서 대량의 데이터 전송이 가능해졌고, 이를 기반으로 다양한 모바일 서비스가 제공되고 있다. 특히 전자서명을 사용하여 제공되는 서비스들은 XML로 기술된 전자서명 정보를 단말 간에 송수신한다. 이때 다양한 물리적 문서형태를 허용하는 XML의 특성은 어플리케이션에서의 전자서명 유효성 검증 문제를 유발한다. 이는 W3C에서 제정한 Canonical XML 1.0 표준의 XML 정규화를 통해 해결이 가능하지만, XML 네임스페이스에서의 속성 상속 문제로 인해 제한적인 해결책만을 제시한다. 이를 해결하기 위해 W3C에서 Canonical XML 1.1을 표준화 중에 있으며 Candidate 권고안까지 진행되어 표준화를 앞두고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 모바일 환경에서의 보다 폭넓은 XML 정규화를 지원하기 위해 W3C에서 표준화 중인 Canonical XML 1.1 표준을 기반으로 XML 문서의 논리적 상호 동등성을 보장하는 XML 정규화 시스템을 설계 및 구현하였다.

전자정보의 기밀성과 무결성을 유지하는 가장 안전한 보안방법 중의 하나가 공인전자서명이다. 이를 의료분야에 적용하기 위하여 본 논문에서는 전자서명법과 의료법에 기반을 둔 전자의무기록에 대한 공인 전자서명의 구체적인 적용 지침을 개발하였다. 개발된 지침은 공인전자서명의 주체 및 시점, 공인인증서의 유효성 확인, 공인전자서명의 관리 책임, 전자의무기록의 보관 및 관리에 관한 적용 지침과 관련 해설을 그 내용으로 하고 있다. 향후에는 이 지침을 토대로 의료기관과 관련 업체에서 전자의무기록 시스템 구축 시 실제 활용할 수 있는 예시들을 개발하고자 한다. 이는 전자의무기록의 도입을 용이하게 하고, 그 보급을 촉진할 뿐 아니라 의료기관과 관련 업체들이 겪고 있는 애로사항을 해소하는데 크게 기여하게 될 것이다.

The purpose of this thesis is to contribute to the activation of e-contract service for one stop e-trade by analyzing the problems and its solutions in e-contract service at home and abroad. In order to achieve the purpose of this thesis, case studies are done on e-contract service providers such as CECTRUST service of NTT DATA in Japan and HanCM.com of Haansoft in Korea and user companies such as Taisei Corporation using CECTRUST service and Hyundai Card using HanCM.com. The problems in the e-contract service are the lack of e-contract service providers, rare publicity of e-contract service, limited use of e-contract service at only home, higher pricing for e-contract service, short time management of e-contract documents by service providers, no application of newly developed security technology to e-contract service, unsatisfaction of requirements of e-contract service provider as trusted third party, absence of lower pricing e-contract service by service provider, authorizing key error in electronic signature under recognized authentication system in case of fail in renewal of digital certificate and reproduction of digital certificate. The solutions of these problems are the upbringing of e-contract service providers, broad publicity of e-contract service, development of e-contract service on a global basis, establishment of lower pricing for e-contract service, long time management of e-contract documents by service providers, application of newly developed security technology such as bio technology to e-contract service, satisfaction of requirements of e-contract service provider as trusted third party by designation of recognized e-document repository, development of lower e-contract service by way of application service provider(ASP), introduction of time stamping of e-contract document and signature key value. The limitation of this thesis is that the problems and its solutions could not meet with the broad recognition as they are conferred by intuition because of few e-contract service provider.
