수소연료전지자동차용 절연저항 측정시스템 개발에 관한 연구 (Study on Development of the Isolation Resistance Measurement System for Hydrogen Fuel Cell Vehicle)

  • Hydrogen Fuel Cell Vehicle(HFCV) is system that uses electrical energy of fuel cell stack to main power source, which is different system with other vehicles that use high-voltage, large-current. Isolation performance of this system which is connected with electrical fire and electrical shock is important point. Isolation resistance of electric installation is divided according to working voltage, it follows criterion more than $100{\Omega}$/VDC (or $500{\Omega}$/VAC) about system operation voltage in a hydrogen fuel cell vehicle. Although measurement of isolation resistance in a hydrogen fuel cell vehicle is two methods, it uses mainly measurement by megger. However, the present isolation resistance measurement system that is optimized to use in electrical facilities is unsuitable for isolation performance estimation of a hydrogen fuel cell vehicle because of limit of maximum short current and difference of measurement resolution. Therefore, this research developed the isolation resistance measurement system so that may be suitable in isolation performance estimation of a hydrogen fuel cell vehicle, verified isolation performance about known resistance by performance verification of laboratory level about developed system, and executed performance verification through comparing results of developed system by performance verification of vehicle level with ones of existing megger. Developed system is judged to aid estimation and upgrade of isolation performance in a hydrogen fuel cell vehicle hereafter.

  • Green car such as a hybrid electrical vehicle and fuel cell vehicle is developed as a commercial target. UN/ECE/WP29 is developing GTR of HFCV and establishing the regulation and standard of electrical safety by ELSA. The regulation and standard about Electrical safety of vehicle are prescribed in ISO, UN/ECE, FMVSS, Japanese Attachment and so on, in case of insulation resistance is referred to keep more than 100/Vdc, 500/Vac. However, accurate method to measure insulation resistance agreeable to structure of vehicle does not exist now, it is actually that correctness of measurement drops according to the feature of battery and fuel cell stack. In this paper, the method to measure insulation resistance for protection against electrical shock by direct contact or indirect contact in Green Car will be indicated by making a comparison between the insulation measurement in standard of electrical safety and the experiment results for HEV and HFCV.

전기저항 측정법을 이용한 탄소나노튜브/폴리프로필렌 나노복합재료의 내부 손상 예측 (Electrical Resistance Measurement in Characterizing the Internal Damage of Carbon Nanotube/Polypropylene Nanocomposites)

  • 전기저항 측정법을 이용하여 전도성을 띄는 소재는 손상예측이 가능하다. 본 연구에서는 차량용 소재로 이용하는 폴리프로필렌(PP)를 이용할 때 재료 내부에 발생될 손상 평가법을 고안하였다. PP 내부에 전도성을 부여하기 위해 탄소나노튜브(CNT)를 0.5 wt% 삽입하여 CNT/PP 복합재료를 제조하였다. 손상 평가를 하기 위해 시편 내부에 구리선을 삽입하여 가로와 세로, 대각선 구간을 설정하여 측정하였다. 시편의 모형은 $20^{\circ}$ 휘어진 시편을 사용하였다. 동적 압축 실험에 따른 전기저항 측정을 통해 구간별로 전기저항 변화도를 분석하였다. 동적 압축 실험에 따른 구간별 전기저항 변화도의 신호는 재료 내부에 전가된 응력을 나타내는 신호이다. 전기저항 측정 구간에서 전기저항 변화도가 높은 경우는 미세 손상이 발생되었음을 의미한다. 전기저항 측정법을 이용한 동적 압축 실험에 따른 예상 손상부위와 실제 파괴 실험을 통해 본 평가 방법을 이용하여 재료 내부 미세 손상을 예측할 수 있는 방법임을 확인하였다.

선형 전기접촉으로 계측해상도가 향상된 저항성 변위센서 (Resistive displacement transducer enhanced measurement resolution by electrical line contact)

  • Although variable resistance displacement transducer is widely applied for its technical simplicity, electrical point contact limits measurement resolution (precision). The present study introduced roller shaped structure for electrical line contact. Proto-type transducer was developed and measurement characteristics were compared with a commercialized product. When the displacement was varied with steps of 5 mm, 1 mm, and down to 0.1 mm, the correlation coefficient between resistance and displacement decreased lower than 0.9 in the commercialized product while the proto-type transducer maintained values higher than 0.99. Therefore, the measurement resolution was enhanced by approximately 10 times. Since manufacturing also seemed easier, the present results would enable more accurate and less expensive manufacturing of variable resistance displacement transducer.

삼상유도전동기 권선저항 측정이 효율 산출에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Measurement of the Winding Resistance Influences the Efficiency Evaluation of 3phase Induction Motors)

  • 3phase induction motor consumes 40% of national electric power. so It is one of the most important electric device for the national power policy. The efficiency measurement is carried out by IEC standards. After the temperature rise test, It's difficult to measure the winding resistance immediately. because of inertia and power cut-off time. Therefore, IEC standards suggest the measurement time. But during the measurement time, the winding temperature cools down. It causes the value of winding resistance is variable. Several conditions which possibly occurred by the measurement time of IEC 60034-1 are suggested. and The efficiency evaluation of 3phase induction motors is carried out by IEC 60034-2-1 with the several conditions. As the results, we find out the winding resistance rapidly goes down within 15 sec. so It proves that the winding resistance should be measured within 15 sec. for the efficiency evaluating of 3phase induction motor.

  • A universal four-point contact measurement method, has an advantage of non-existence of contact resistance, is demonstrated by the experiments with carbon nanotubes and ZnO nanowire. Ti/Au and Pt are tried to compare the influence of contact resistance between two different metals. These metals are selected to make Ohmic contact and Schottky contact originated from their different work functions. For precise experiments, Ti/Au and Pt are separately evaporated to form double 'four-point contact electrodes' on CNTs or ZnO, and the voltage-current characteristics are measured. This method can be applied to universal resistivity measurement for nanotubes and nanowires.

Monitoring Failure Behaviour of Pultruded CFRP Composites by Electrical Resistance Measurement

  • The failure behaviours of unidirectional pultruded carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) composites were monitored by the electrical resistance measurement during tensile loading, three-point-bending, interlaminar shear loading. The tensile failure behaviour of carbon fiber tows was also investigated by the electrical resistance measurement. Infrared thermography non-destructive evaluation was performed in real time during tensile test of CFRP composites to validate the change of microdamage in the materials. Experiment results demonstrated that the CFRP composites and carbon fiber tows were damaged by different damage mechinsms during tensile loading, for the CFRP composites, mainly being in the forms of matrix damage and the debonding between matrix and fibers, while for the carbon fiber tows, mainly being in the forms of fiber fracture. The correlation between the infrared thermographs and the change in the electrical resistance could be regarded as an evidence of the damage mechanisms of the CFRP composites. During three-point-bending loading, the main damage forms were the simultaneity fracture of matrix and fibers firstly, then matrix cracking and the debonding between matrix and fiber were carried out. This results can be shown in Fig. 9(a) and (b). During interlaminar shear loading, the change in the electrical resistance was related to the damage degree of interlaminar structure. Electrical resistance measurement was more sensitive to the damage behaviour of the CFRP composites than the stress/time curve.

가공지선이 연결된 송전철탑의 탑각저항 측정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Measurement of Footing Resistance of Transmission Towers with Overhead Grounding wires)

  • Footing Resistance of a 154 kV transmission towers in korea is commonly required to be less than 15 ohm to avoid lightning back-flashover accident. The periodic measurement of Footing Resistance is important to verify that the grounding performance of the towers has been maintained good. Towers are electrically connected in parallel with overhead grounding wire, therefore footing resistance of each tower will be measured after disconnecting the overhead ground wires from the towers. however, In this paper, three direct measurement methods of footing resistance are presented. There are very useful methods without disconnecting overhead ground wires from the tower under measurement. They are compared in KEPCO 154 kV transmission towers. The experimental results describe performances of them.

  • This paper summarize about the auxiliary electrode measured a ground resistance The method to measure a ground resistance is the fall-of-potential method to using an auxiliary electrode. And an auxiliary electrode must be set up on the ground. Today it is so difficult to set up the auxiliary electrode on the ground because of many concrete building and many paved roads. So this paper is regarding of the ground resistance measurement by the substitute auxiliary electrode. It substituted a iron structure around the building, a wire net for auxiliary electrode. This information is confirmed by compared with the measurement value.

  • This paper shows the accuracy of 61.8% rule which is based on the fall-of-potential method in field measurement of earth resistances, and proposes the measurement method which is applicable to the industries. This paper also finds the minimum distance to obtain the horizontal position in the earth resistance curves, and Proposes the standard form for measurement of earth resistance using the fall-of-Potential method.
