정전위 전해 중합법에 의한 폴리피롤 제조 및 전기화학적 특성 (Preparations and Electrochemical Characteristics of Polypyrrole by Constant Potential Electroplymerization)

  • 본 연구에서는 정전위 전해중합법으로 음이온 크기가 다른 도펀트를 사용하여 폴리피를 전극을 제조하였으며, CV 및 교류 임피던스법을 이용한 전기화학적 분석 및 형태학적 분석을 통해 제조된 폴리피롤 전극의 특성을 고찰하였다. 제조된 전극을 전기화학적으로 분석한 결과 $PPy/CLO_4$전극은 음이온의 도핑$\cdot$탈도핑이, PPy/PVS 전극은 양이온의 탈도핑$\cdot$도핑이 일어나고 있음을 알았다. 합성 전위가 증가할수록 $PPy/CLO_4$ 전극과 PPy/PVS 전극 모두 전하전달저항은 감소하였고, 이중층 용량은 $PPy/CLO_4$전극이 PPy/PVS 보다 큼을 알 수 있었다. 합성 전위 변화에 따른 PPy/PVS 전극 표면의 변화는 상대적으로 $PPy/CLO_4$ 보다 작음을 알 수 있었다

  • This study describes the optimal design of shield to improve the insulation performance of vacuum interrupter(VI). Axi-symmetric finite element routine including floating boundary condition for shields was applied to analyze electric potential and field distribution in VI. A ($\mu-\lambda$) Evolution Strategy(ES) is employed as optimization method. Three design variables of shield are selected for minimizing the maximum electric field strength in VI. Finally, optimal solution for shield is obtained and compared with the result of the prototype.

  • This paper presents optimal charge arrangement through potential error analysis. In order to decide the number of charges per conductor for a large system, adaptive simulation charge arrangement technique has been proposed. "Grouping" technique which means to divide analysis domain into two groups has been described through field error analysis. By this method, the size of matrix to calculate E field at a calculation point is reduced remarkably. The proposed method is applied to the electric field calculation around the Substation busbars.

  • It is possible to suppress voltage drops, power loading fluctuations and regeneration power lapses for DC railway systems by applying an energy storage system. Recently the electric double layer capacitor (EDLC) of the rapid charge/discharge type has been developed and used in wide ranges. The on board energy storage system with supercapacitor for railway vehicles presented in this paper seems to be a reliable technical solution with an enormous energy saving potential. In this paper, an efficient charge and discharge control method of a bidirectional DC-DC converter using the supercapacitor is proposed.

  • Reducing global warming potential has become important, and as one of those methods for reducing it, economic evaluation by applying ice thermal storage air conditioning system was performed. The floor area and height of the subject building was assumed $5,000m^2$ and 20 m. Absorption chillerheater system and air source heat pump system was used for comparing to the subject system, and payback period method was used to perform economic evaluation. Although the running cost of ice thermal storage system is reduced compared to two systems, the ratio is not significant compared to the increase of initial construction expenses, and payback period was calculated to be about 7.7 and 79.3 years. However, the heat storage system should be approached from the viewpoint of long term rather than the economic standard in the present standard.

  • AISI 316 steel has been used extensively for heater and boiler tube of the structural plants such as power, chemical and petroleum plants under severe operating conditions. Usually, material degradation due to microcrack or precipitation of carbides and segregation of impurity elements, is occured by damage accumulated for long-term service at high temperature in this material. In this study, the effect of aging time on fracture toughness was investigated to evaluate the measurement of material degradation. The elastic-plastic fracture toughness behaviour of AISI 316 steel pipe aged at $550^{\circ}C$for 1h-10000h (the aged material) was characterized using the single specimen J-R curve technique and eletric potential drop method at normal loading rate(load-line displacement speed of 0.2mm/min) in room temperature and air environment. The fracture toughness data from above experiments is compared with the $J_{in}$ obtained from predicted values of crack initiation point using potential drop method.

알콕사이드 가수분해법에 의핸 제조된 TiO$_2$ 분말을 이용한 Micad의 표면 개질 (Surface Modification of Mica Using TiO$_2$ prepared by Alkoxide Hydrolysis Method)

  • TiO2 powder was adsorbed on the surface of mica using the heterocoagulation method in water TiO2 powder was prepared from hydrolysis of titanium-iso propoxide in a mixed solvent of anhydrous ethanol and water. When the molar ratio of water to titanium iso-propoxide was 0.25 monodispersed spherical TiO2 particles were obtained. The prepared TiO2 powder showed anatase phase after heat treatment at 50$0^{\circ}C$ for 2 h and then transformed to rutile phase after heat treatment at 100$0^{\circ}C$ for 2h. The iso-electric points of TiO2 and Mica were pH 3.9 and pH 3.25 respectively which were measured by the Z-potential analysis in water base. The maximum Z-potential difference between two powders was observed in the range of pH 3.6~3.7 TiO2 powder was adsorbed on the surface of mica by heterocoagulation method in pH 3.6~3,7 The properties of prepared TiO2 powder was haracterized by TG-DTA, XRD and SEM The morphology and thermal properties of TiO2-adsorbed mica were examined.

  • In this paper, Electret is formed to range voltage -5[kV] to -8[kV] by corona charging in PTFE film and sensor is manufactured by method of moments in sensing infra sonic. Charges of charged film are calculated also TSC measurement and induced potential of sensing electrode according to the charges is become aware of computer simulation. Electret Infra Sonic Transducer, which is designed and manufactured according to the potential and electric field simulation in using method of moments, is proved as it is effectively. Because sensitivity that measured under 10[Hz] is that average value of sensitivity rising rate is 6.34 [dB/oct] as average value is $\pm$1 [dB/oct] range -5[kV] to -8[kV] in corona charging film. As a result, it is believed that characteristic of acquired transducer can be application of medical treatment, industry, and animal life researches and the study of noise elimination, what's more, is required.

Mathematical modeling of smart nanoparticles-reinforced concrete foundations: Vibration analysis

  • In this research, vibration and smart control analysis of a concrete foundation reinforced by $SiO_2$ nanoparticles and covered by piezoelectric layer on soil medium is investigated. The soil medium is simulated with spring constants and the Mori-Tanaka low is used for obtaining the material properties of nano-composite structure and considering agglomeration effects. With considering first order shear deformation theory, the total potential energy of system is calculated and by means of Hamilton's principle in three displacement directions and electric potential, the six coupled equilibrium equations are obtained. Also, based an analytical method, the frequency of system is calculated. The effects of applied voltage, volume percent and agglomeration of $SiO_2$ nanoparticles, soil medium and geometrical parameters of structure are shown on the frequency of system. Results show that with applying negative voltage, the frequency of structure is increased.

  • A numerical method for the analysis of 3D eddy current in conductors due to applied time varying field is suggested using the finite element method. In the approximation of the field quantifies, the edge element is used, because it reduce the required computer memory and the computing time compared with the nodal elements. With edge elements, furthermore, the field governing equations become simple because the electric scalar potential ${\phi}$ can be set to zero. The modified magnetic vector potential($A^*$) is used as a state variable. The analysed results are compared with the experimentally measured ones for the TEAM workshop problem3.
