Grooved Gate MOSFET의 해석적 모델에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Analytical Model for Grooved Gate MOSFET)

  • The conventional modeling equations for planar MOSFET can not be directly used for zero or minus junction depth concave MOSFET. In this paper, we suggest a new model which can simulate the electrical characteristics of concave MOSFET. The threshold voltage modeling was achieved using the charge sharing method considering the relative difference of source and drain depletion widths. To analyze the ID-VDS characteristics, the conventional expressions for planar MOSFET were employed with the electrical channel length as an effective channel length and the channel length modulation factor as ${\alpha}$ΔL. By comparing the proposed model with experimental results, we could get reasonably similar curves and we proposed a concave MOSFET conditiion which shows no short channel effect of threshold voltage(V${\gamma}$).

강프레임 기둥 부재의 탄성 및 비탄성 유효좌굴길이 산정을 위한 가상축력계수의 적용 (Application of a Fictitious Axial Force Factor to Determine Elastic and Inelastic Effective Lengths for Column Members of Steel Frames)

  • 강프레임 부재의 설계에서 탄성 시스템좌굴해석은 프레임의 실제 거동을 예측하기 어려운 반면, 비탄성 시스템좌굴해석은 압축부재의 세장비에 따른 비탄성 거동이 고려됨으로써 보다 현실적인 부재의 좌굴거동을 예측할 수 있다. 그러나 시스템좌굴해석 수행후 오일러좌굴식을 이용한 방법은 압축력이 비교적 작게 발생하는 부재에서 과도한 유효좌굴길이를 산정한다는 문제점을 내포하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 강프레임 구조의 모든 부재의 탄성 및 비탄성 유효좌굴길이계수를 산정할 수 있는 새로운 해석방법을 제안하였다. 제안된 방법은 가상축력계수 개념을 기반으로 비탄성 강도감소계수를 도입하고 반복고유치해석을 수행하여 각 부재의 유효좌굴길이계수를 산정한다. 제안된 방법의 타당성을 검증하기 위하여 예제 강프레임 구조물을 제안된 방법에 의거한 유효좌굴길이와 기존 방법에 의거한 결과를 비교하였다. 검증 결과, 제안된 방법은 강프레임의 모든 부재의 탄성 및 비탄성 유효좌굴길이계수를 합리적으로 산정할 수 있었다. 부가적으로 재료의 비탄성 거동이 부재의 유효좌굴길이에 미치는 영향도 논의되었다.

철도 차륜의 구름접촉 피로 균열에 관한 유한요소해석 (FEM Analysis on Rolling Contact Fatigue Crack of a Railway Wheel)

  • In this study, tensile and fatigue crack propagation tests machined from actual wheels were performed. FEM analysis also was performed on the crack that was assumed to be 15 mm in depth under the wheel tread surface. The stress intensity factors K I and K II at the crack tip under the stress($P_{max}=911.5MPa$) due to a rolling contact were analyzed for crack growth characteristics. As a result, the perpendicular crack was found to be more dangerous compared to the parallel one. It is found that in the wheel fatigue crack, parallel to the wheel tread surface, the crack with its length 2a = 2.4mm starts to propagate due to the fact that the effective stress intensity factor access to the threshold stress intensity factor($K_{th}=16.04MPa{\sqrt{m}}$) of the wheel.

  • 본 연구에서는 표면균열의 전파거동에 관한 연구의 일환으로 경량화재료 로서 항공기 구조용으로 널리 사용되고 있는 7075-T651 알루미늄합금을 준비하고 제하탄성 compliance법을 이용하여 표면 및 깊이 방향의 균열진전거동의 특성을 밝히고져 한다.

총괄열흡수율을 이용한 가열로내 소재(Billet) 온도예측 (Prediction of Billet Temperature by the Total Heat Exchange Factor on the Reheating Furnace)

  • A new method to determine the total heat exchange factor was proposed for the prediction of billet temperature in a reheating furnace. This method employed the squared of the difference between measured and predicted temperatures as an objective function. The real billet temperature in a walking beam type reheating furnace with 19.75m of its effective length was directly measured by thermocouples. The present method was validated by showing that the predicted billet temperature was in a good agreement with the measured one.

관내 유동 플라스틱 슬러리의 열전달 특성 (Heat Transfer Characteristics of Plastic Particle Slurry in a Circular tube Flow)

  • This present experimental study has dealt with the heat transfer characteristics of plastic particle slurry which flows in a circular tube. This type of slurry is suggested for heat transfer enhancement effect cause by random and vortex effect of plastic particle dispersed in water. As a result, the thermal boundary layer becomes thin so the heat transfer coefficient on the tube wall more increase compare to pure water flow. This experimental test section was composed with stainless pipe which has the length of 2000mm, inner pipe diameter of 14mm and outer pipe diameter of 60mm. The most effective and important parameter of this experiment is plastic packing factor(PPF). The focuses of these results are pressure drop and heat transfer coefficient. As results, the friction factor of plastic particle slurry becomes higher at laminar flow region than pure water because of buoyancy effect of plastic particle but the local heat transfer coefficient becomes higher.

보와 아치의 좌굴강도에 관한 연구의 필요성 (The Need for Research about Buckling Strength of Arch and Beam)

  • In current specification, modification factor(B) for web-tapered beam is used to account for the stress gradient and the restraining effect for adjacent spans. However, because these effects are considered together in modification factor, this paper revaluate the accuracy of the modification factor used in current specification. Also this paper investigate the flexural torsional buckling strength of laterally fixed thin-walled arch with doubly symmetric section using the analytical and numerical method. From this investigate the concept of effective length to consider the out-of-plane boundary condition for straight column or beam is not applicate for the flexural-torsional buckling of laterally fixed arches.

랜덤하중에서의 균열전파속도 추정법에 관한 연구 (A Prediction of Crack Propagation Rate under Random Loading)

  • Under variable amplitude loading conditions, retardation or accelerated condition of fatigue crack growth occurs with every cycle, Because fatigue crack growth behavior varied depend on load time history. The modeling of stress amplitude with storm loading acted to ships and offshore structures applied this paper. The crack closure behavior examine by recording the variation in load-strain relationship. By taking process mentioned above, fatigue crack growth rate, crack length, stress intensity factor, and crack closure stress intensity factor were obtained from the stress cycles of each type of storm ; A(6m), B(7m), C(8m), D(9m), E(11m) and F(15m) which was wave height. It showed that the good agreement with between the experiment results and simulation of storm loads. So this estimated method of crack propagtion rate gives a good criterion for the safe design of vessels and marine structure.

위성 링크에 대한 강우셀 기반 실효 경로 길이 모델링 연구 (Modeling of Effective Path-Length in Satellite Link Based on Rain Cell Statistics)

  • 기존의 ITU-R 모델은 강우 환경이 다른 국내 측정치와 편차가 크고, 실효 경로 길이가 주파수와 무관함에도 주파수의 함수로 되어 있으며, 강우셀의 물리적 특성이 반영되지 않은 경험 모델이라는 단점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 강우셀 개념을 이용한 실효 경로 길이 모델에 대한 이론 모델을 제안하고, 측정 데이터를 이용하여 제안 모델의 타당성을 검증하였다. 강우셀 파라미터의 통계적 특성 분석을 위하여 한국 기상청의 기상레이더 측정 데이터(CAPPI)를 분석하고, 한국전자통신연구원에서 측정한 천리안 비콘 수신 데이터를 이용하여 보정계수를 도입함으로써 측정치와 잘 일치하는 물리적 이론 모델을 도출하였다. 도출된 실효 경로 길이 모델의 검증을 위하여 국방과학연구소의 연구비 지원을 받아 충남대학교에서 측정한 무궁화 5호(Ka 대역) 위성 비콘신호 측정 데이터를 사용하여 비교하였으며, 제안한 실효 경로 길이 모델과 측정데이터가 잘 일치함을 확인하였다.

  • New capacitance modeling and transient analysis for multi-layer interconnects with shielding effect are presented. The upper layer capacitances with under-layer shielding lines are represented by introducing a filling factor η which can be defined as the ratio of upper-layer line length to the total under-layer line width. The upper-layer effective self capacitances considering two extreme cases which the underlayer metals are assumed as a ground or as a Vdd are modeled. The signal transient analysis with shielding effect model is performed.
