부산항 컨테이너 전용 터미널 운영 개선을 위한 연구 (A Study on the Operational Improvement at Pusan Container Terminal)

  • In this paper, we compare and analyze the current state of the productivity of the stevedoring work among several container terminals in 1999. Based on these results of analysis, we firstly classify several factors which impede the efficient operations of container terminal as follows ; late arrival of container beyond cargo closing time(CCT), change of port of destination, change of vessel, and return cargo. Such factors are major cause for the cargo rehandling on terminals, thus deteriorate the overall performance of transfer crane during the stevedoring work. In order to improve the productivity of container terminal, we suggest that it is necessary for establishing and operating the efficient logistics management system. Especially, we emphasize the importance of information exchange on the scheduled cargoes among the relevant parties such as shippers, shipping companies, and terminal operators, which is the most effective way to alleviate the cargo rehandling.

조생종 콩의 Phomopsis 종자부패에 대한 베노밀 처리효과 (Effects of Benomyl Application on Phomopsis Seed Decay of Early Soybeans)

  • Effects of field applications of benomyl on Phomopsis seed decay of early soybeans were investigated at Suwon in 1992 and 1993. Pod and immature seed infections were markedly suppressed by benomyl application at the R6 stage whereas the spray at the R7 stage was not as effective as the spray at R6. When compared with unsprayed plots, benomyl spray at R6 resulted in decrease in Phomopsis seed infection by 37.1% and 73.9%, and increased in frequency of seed germination by 1.8% and 8.0% in 1992 and 1993, respectively. The results indicated that only one spray at early R6 could effectively reduce seed infection by Phomopsis spp.and could be adopted in a disease management program for commercial production of healthy soybean seeds.

  • 다목적실용위성5호는 정밀궤도결정을 위하여 위성레이저반사경을 부착할 예정이다. 레이저반사경은 독일 DFZ에서 개발된 것으로 4개의 코너큐브로 구성된 피라미드 형태를 갖는다. 본 논문에서는 레이저반사경의 유효면적과 link budget에 따른 광자수 계산 및 지상관측소 위치에 따른 광자수 계산 등의 성능 해석을 수행하였다.

포장위생 관리가 콩 미이라병의 발생에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Field Sanitation on the Pod and Stem Blight Caused by Phomopsis spp. in Soybean)

  • The effect of field sanitation using ecological characters of the pathogen was investigated for controlling Phomopsis seed decay in soybean. Field sanitation which was eliminated the inoculum by removing host debris, abscised petioles and cotyledones out of field, reduced remarkably infection percentage of pods and seeds by Phomopsis spp. as compared to the inoculated field. Neverthless, seed infection was 28.7% in the sanitized field. The fields sanitized by benlate application around the soybean plants also decreased seed infection with Phomopsis spp. Total seed infection including that with miscellaneous pathogens occurred as much as 75∼79% to the no application and their control values were 34∼42% over the routine application schedule. Even though it was not satisfactory, field sanitation seemed to be effective in controlling Phomopsis seed decay when infection pressure was low level. Diaporthe phseolorum va. sojae, D. phaseolorum var. caulivora and Phomopsis longicolla were mostly identified from soybean seeds and Colletotrichum truncatum, Cercospora kikuchiana were also isolated in sequence. Field sanitation did not significantly increase in soybean yield over the no application, while routine application schedule did in field.

Efficacy of Fluazinam and Iprodione+Propineb in the Suppression of Diaporthe phaseolorum, Colletotrichum truncatum and Cercospora kikuchii, the Causal Agents of Seed Decay in Soybean

  • Seed decay of soybean caused by Diaporthe phaseolorum, Colletotrichum truncatum and Cercospora kikuchii is a serious disease when soybean is harvested under warm and wet weather conditions. Benomyl has been used for controlling the disease, however, benomyl application may be limited due to common occurrence of resistance. The efficacy of 21 fungicides against the pathogens was evaluated in vitro. Among the fungicides tested, benomyl, carbendazim, fluazinam, iprodione+propineb, thiophanate-methyl, and triflumizole were found effective and were evaluated for their ability to control the seed pathogens. Fluazinam completely inhibited mycelial growth at a concentration of 100 $\mu\textrm{g}$/$\textrm{m}{\ell}$ for D. phaseolorum; and at a concentration of 500 $\mu\textrm{g}$/$\textrm{m}{\ell}$ for C. truncatum and C. kikuchii. $EC_90$ values of fluazinam were similar to that of benomyl. Because fluazinam, iprodione+propineb, and triflumizole were found effective against the seed pathogens, these were subjected for field-testing. Suppression of pod and seed infection by fluazinam and iprodione+propineb was as high as that of benomyl without any reduction in agronomic characters of soybean. This study shows that fluazinam and iprodione+propineb may be used in combination with benomyl to control seed pathogens, manage resistance, and ensure production of high quality soybean seeds.

A New Application of Unsupervised Learning to Nighttime Sea Fog Detection

  • This paper presents a nighttime sea fog detection algorithm incorporating unsupervised learning technique. The algorithm is based on data sets that combine brightness temperatures from the $3.7{\mu}m$ and $10.8{\mu}m$ channels of the meteorological imager (MI) onboard the Communication, Ocean and Meteorological Satellite (COMS), with sea surface temperature from the Operational Sea Surface Temperature and Sea Ice Analysis (OSTIA). Previous algorithms generally employed threshold values including the brightness temperature difference between the near infrared and infrared. The threshold values were previously determined from climatological analysis or model simulation. Although this method using predetermined thresholds is very simple and effective in detecting low cloud, it has difficulty in distinguishing fog from stratus because they share similar characteristics of particle size and altitude. In order to improve this, the unsupervised learning approach, which allows a more effective interpretation from the insufficient information, has been utilized. The unsupervised learning method employed in this paper is the expectation-maximization (EM) algorithm that is widely used in incomplete data problems. It identifies distinguishing features of the data by organizing and optimizing the data. This allows for the application of optimal threshold values for fog detection by considering the characteristics of a specific domain. The algorithm has been evaluated using the Cloud-Aerosol Lidar with Orthogonal Polarization (CALIOP) vertical profile products, which showed promising results within a local domain with probability of detection (POD) of 0.753 and critical success index (CSI) of 0.477, respectively.

추출조건이 마늘 추출액의 기능성에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Extraction Conditions on the Functional Properties of Garlic Extracts)

  • 마늘의 이용성 증진과 마늘의 기능성 성분을 효율적으로 추출할 수 있는 최적용매에 대한 기초자료를 얻기 위해 마늘을 5종류의 유기용매와 4종류의 산을 사용하여 추출하고 추출수율과 기능성을 조사하여 최적 용매를 선정하였다. 선정된 용매의 농도를 0, 25, 50, 75, 100%로 조절하여 적정농도를 조사하고 적정용매의 pH 조절, 산 및 염의 첨가 시 추출율 및 아질산염 소거작용, 전자공여효과 및 총 thiosulfinates 함량 측정, 항산화성 등의 생리활성을 조사하였다. 마늘의 기능성 성분의 최적추출조건은 극성이 큰 methanol 의한 추출이 효과적이었다. Citric acid를 비롯하여 유기산 및 무기산 (acetic acid, phosphoric acid, tartaric acid)으로 추출할 때 고형분 수율은 높았으나 기능성에서 methanol 보다 효율성이 낮은 값을 보여 전자공여능은 약 1/2 정도 낮았다. 아질산염 소거능은 완충액의 모든 pH 영역에서 낮게 나타났고, 항산화효과인 과산화물 생성억제도 methanol 추출액이 약간 효과가 더 높았다. Methanol과 ethanol의 기능성 성분의 추출효과는 비슷하므로 식품응용을 고려할 때 ethanol이 보다 효과적임을 알 수 있었다. Ethanol의 농도를 달리하여 추출한 결과 50% ethanol 농도에서 가장 추출이 용이하였고 고형분수율 및 기능성도 가장 효과적이었다. 50% ethanol 용매보다 더 효율적인 추출조건을 찾기 위해 50% ethanol 용액의 pH조절과 NaCl, citric acid, $NaH_2PO_4$, $Na_2HPO_4$를 농도별로 첨가하여 추출하였을 때 고형분수율 및 기능성에서 큰 변화를 보이지 않았다. 따라서 마늘 성분의 추출은 50% ethanol 농도가 마늘의 기능성성분들의 효과적인 추출 방법으로 판단된다. Monascin의 경우 맛살에서 $0.01{\sim}3.31\;g/g$ 혼합어육소시지에서 $0.05{\sim}0.10\;g/g$, 반건조소시지에서 $0.34{\sim}0.35\;g/g$이 각각 검출되었고, 나머지 품목에서는 모두 불검출이었다. 한편, ankaflavin의 경우 맛살에서만 $0.02{\sim}0.89\;g/g$이 검출되었으며, 나머지 품목에서는 모두 불검출이었다.gen synthase의 활성은 P군에 비해 POD군에서 높았고(P<0.05), Px 백서가 Sham 백서에 비해 낮았다(P<0.05). Px 백서의 quadriceps 근육내 중성지방 축적량이 Sham 백서에 비해 높았는데, P에 비해 POD를 공급하였을 때 중성지방의 축적양이 낮아졌다. 결론적으로 POD은 당뇨와 정상 백서에서 인슐린 저항성을 감소시킴을 알 수 있었고 이러한 인슐린 저항성의 감소 현상은 근육에서의 glycogen synthase 활성과 관련이 있을 것으로 생각되었다.로 높은 것으로 밝혀졌지만, 그 이상의 농도에서는 낮은 수치를 나타내었다 이상의 결과로 보아 수용성계에서 뿐 만 아니라, 비수용성계에서도 중금속 이온 존재 하에서의 AsA 자동산화반응에서의 $O_2\bar{{\bullet}}$ 생성이 시사되었다.pm, $230^{\circ}C$에서 5.56 ppm으로 점진적으로 감소하였다. 이는 nonanoic acid, palmitic acid, stearic acid등이 고온가열에 의해 생성되었다가 이들이 열분해로 소실되었기 때문으로 생각된다.평균치는 34점이었으며 여윔에서는 너무 살찜으로 갈수록 사회적 체형불안도가 상승하는 경향을 나타내었다. 후쿠오카 지역의 체형 불안 도가 대구지역보다 유의적으로 높았다. 한 일 여대생의 자기 체형인식 및 체형 불안도에

Preparation of Reproducible and Responsive Scar Model and Histology Analysis

  • Unlike human, with some exceptions, animals do not heal with excessive scar. The lack of suitable animal model has hindered the development of effective scar therapy. We previously reported that partial thickness rabbit ear wound model resembles human wound heal process. This study was designed to prepare a hypertropic scar wound model which can be employed for testing anti-scar therapy. Four wounds were created down to the bare cartilage on the anterior side of each rabbit ear using 8-mm dermal biopsy punch and histology analysis at post operation day (POD) 5, 28 and 48 were performed. As the outcome of scar formation is largely determined by the early inflammatory response to the wounding and the degree and the duration of occlusion, cephalodin(50 mg/kg) was injected daily and medical occlusive dressings were applied. Five micro wound and scar sections were stained with hematoxylin and eosin for quantification of epidermal regeneration and scar hypertrophy. Sections were also stained using Masson's trichrome and Sirius red to evaluate collagen organization and rete ridge formation. Wound closure process was assessed to 7wks post wounding. Complete removal of the epidermis, dermis and perichondrial layer caused delayed epithelialization, which results in hypertropic scarring. The inability of the wounds to contract and the delay in epithelialization in rabbit ear was likely due to cartilage and it created scar elevation. The results suggest that full thickness surgical punch wound model in rabbit ear could be employed as a reliable and reproducible scar wound model for testing anti-scar therapy.

  • 웹 사이트를 효과적으로 개발하기 위해 Ajax, jQuery등과 같은 다양한 기술이 개발되고 있다. 관리자 인터페이스를 강력하게 함으로써, 관리자 메뉴에서 다양한 기능을 손쉽게 제작할 수 있지만, 이러한 경우 텍스트 형태를 벗어나지 못하거나, 코드를 그 때 그 때 수정하고 있는 실정이다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해, 본 논문에서는 CSS를 데이터베이스와 연동하여 제공하고, 이러한 CSS 기능과 다양한 오픈 폰트를 이용해 텍스트를 이미지로 변환함으로써, 기존의 웹 사이트 제작 방법과의 차별화된 기능을 제공하는 방법에 대해 기술한다.

늑골을 이용한 무지 결손의 재건 (Thumb Reconstruction with Rib Transplantation)

  • Recommendable reconstructive surgery in the patient with thumb amputation through base of the first metacarpal bone is pollicization. Some patients who do not agree with harvest sound finger as a new thumb, we can consider other options as toe transplantation or osteoplastic thumb reconstruction for creating thumb. Toe transplantation to the thumb is effective procedure in the amputation of distal to metacarpal shaft, it is rarely indicated in the cases of proximal to base of the first metacarpal bone. We performed three cases of modified osteoplastic thumb reconstruction with free vascularized rib that combined with scapular free flap or radial forearm flap. The length of transplanted rib ranged from 7~11cm, the donor vessels are posterior intercostal artery and vein which anastomosed to radial artery. The grafted rib wrapped with additional free flap for creating new thumb. Result of that procedure was not much encouraging, aesthetic appearance and mobility of thumb were not so satisfactory but reconstructed thumb gave improvement of the hand function without sacrificing toe or other digit. That gave reasonable stability for powerful side pinch and three pod pinch and opposable thumb with normal carpo-metacarpal joint motion that can give much function to the thumb absent hand. In spite of those disadvantages, thumb reconstruction with rib transfer can be useful for patients who do not want to lose another part of the body for creating thumb in basal amputation of the thumb metacarpal.
