The proximities of Cheonggye creek was a maj or space for the gathering of large populations from the past times and it is also a place containing the joy, anger, sorrow, pleasure and lives of the citizens. The Cheonggye creek which flowed downtown of Seoul throughout many historical events had disappeared into history completely in the modernization process due to the contamination with life sewages and overflow. However, the city authority of Seoul decided to restore it to its shape before covering the creek by means of dismantling the old elevated ways in Cheonggye creek in line with the Large Scale City Movement Project to revive the grey city and to improve the quality of the city landscape in 2002. The cultural space was created by activating the old town sphere in Cheonggye Creek and the amenities of the giant city was improved by the cultural and natural wave created along the creek. In addition, the educational opportunity has been provided to the citizens by means of reviving its historical nature. The design and cultural value of the Cheonggye Plaza were restored for the mean time and the urban environment requested during modem times was established. The Cheonggye Plaza which heightened the balanced development in Seoul which has been developed in an unbalanced way by dividing into northern and southern area of the river is very meaningful in the viewpoint of the landscape architect who designs the urban space. The re-birth as a cultural space of downtown owing to the efforts of the said cultural catalysts is meaningful.
In general, the intuitive knowledge that can use in mathematics problem solving is one of the important knowledge to teachers as well as students. So, this study is aimed to analyze the elementary preservice teachers' intuitive knowledge in relation to intuitive and counter-intuitive problem solving. For this, I performed survey to use questionnaire consisting of problems that can solve in intuitive methods and cause the errors by counter-intuitive methods. 161 preservice teachers participated in this study. I got the conclusion as follows. preservice teachers' intuitive problem solving ability is very low. I special, many preservice teachers preferred algorithmic problem solving to intuitive problem solving. So, it's needed to try to improve preservice teachers' problem solving ability via ensuring both the quality and quantity of problem solving education during preservice training courses. Many preservice teachers showed errors with incomplete knowledges or intuitive judges in counter-intuitive problem solving process. For improving preservice teachers' intuitive problem solving ability, we have to develop the teacher education curriculum and materials for preservice teachers to go through intuitive mathematical problem solving. Add to this, we will strive to improve preservice teachers' interest about mathematics itself and value of mathematics.
New Zealand had reformed their national curriculum with competence and are applying the revised curriculum. As the 2015 revised national curriculum is clothed with competency-based curriculum, New Zealand may have important implications for the study of the Korean revised curriculum. In this study, we examine characteristics of the education system and the national curriculum in New Zealand. In addition, we analyze the standards into the New Zealand national curriculum in terms of 'curriculum connectivity' that is one of important curriculum criteria for improving the quality of education. For this, we look an overview of the relation between the New Zealand curriculum and NCEA, which is the core of the student-centered education system in New Zealand, and analyze the correspondence between the New Zealand curriculum and the Korean curriculum. And we establish analysis framework of curriculum connectivity based on these comparison analysis contents, and analyze Korean mathematics standards with corresponding levels from among the New Zealand mathematics curriculum. According to the results of this study, the New Zealand curriculum includes the most of standards which Korean high school students who want to enter university of natural sciences of engineering need to require. In addition, the New Zealand curriculum highlights statistical research activities for developing problem-solving ability in real life. From perspective of curriculum connectivity, 'in-depth contents' adding on to repeating mathematical concepts or contents are included in the New Zealand curriculum.
The purpose of this study was to help improve the quality of education to keep up with fast-changing environments in educating sector. Relevant literature and data were reviewed, and the subjects in this study were dental hygiene juniors at seven two-year colleges in the Seoul metropolitan area and other regions, on whom a survey was conducted for about three months from August through October, 2004, to assess their satisfaction level with their major and educational environments. And it's concluded that in order to attract more new students and foster qualified students, dental hygiene practice labs should be improved on a large scale, and that there should be a great deal of investment in teaching facilities. The major findings of the study were as follows: 1. As for satisfaction with major choice, 57.5% of the students investigated, the largest percentage, expressed satisfaction with their major. 27.8%, the second largest group, found their choice not to be bad. 2. Regarding satisfaction with the state of practice labs, 41.9% were pleased with practice labs. This rate was quite lower than that of nursing students, as 64.2% of nursing students were pleased with their practice labs.7) 3. As to satisfaction with individual practice labs, oral prophylaxis labs were considered most satisfactory, as 53.9% were satisfied with them. Digital radiation labs appeared to be satisfactory the least, which made 77.0% dissatisfied. 4. Whether there were any connections between their working experience as a clinical worker and satisfaction level was investigated. In terms of their satisfaction with major choice and the state of practice labs, the students who had ever worked as a clinical worker were relatively pleased with the state of practice labs. As for satisfaction with each practice lab, those who had ever served as a clinical worker before being admitted into college expressed more satisfaction with radiation practice labs(p<0.05) and digital radiation labs(p<.05) than the others who hadn't. The gap between the two was statistically significant. 5. In regard to the causes of dissatisfaction with practice labs, 93.7 and 80.0% were respectively dissatisfied with digital radiation labs and basic dental hygiene labs because their colleges were devoid of those labs. 51.6%, the largest group, found oral prophylaxis labs unsatisfactory because of their frequent breakdown. In the event of most of the other practice labs, the greatest percentage were discontented due to a shortage of equipment.
Objectives: Oral health management is important to improve the quality of life among the elderly. This study investigated the performance of elderly oral health management among some care workers in long-term-care hospitals. Methods: The study subjects were 174 care workers in 10 long-term-care hospitals. Data on general characteristics of care workers, attitude, recognition and knowledge of elderly health, performance of elderly oral health management were collected by a self-administered questionnaire. Data were analyzed through descriptive analysis, t-test, ANOVA, correlation and multiple regression analysis by using a SPSS version 23.0 statistical program. Results: The performance score of oral health management was $4.34{\pm}0.64$ on the 5-point Likert scale. The subjects who exercised more than 2 times a month were significantly higher in their performance of elderly oral health management compared to subjects who did not exercise (${\beta}=0.232$, p=0.035). And, the subjects who cared 10-19 persons were significantly higher in performance of elderly oral health management compared to subjects who cared more than 20 elderly (${\beta}=0.246$, p=0.020). The oral health behavior of care worker (${\beta}=0.271$, p<0.001) and the knowledge of oral health care (${\beta}=0.055$, p=0.008) were positively related to the performance of elderly oral health management. Conclusions: The educational program designed to improve knowledge of care workers in accordance with the standard textbook for training care workers should be developed, and the long term education program should be reinforced to improve the performance for elderly oral health care. If care workers can care a proper number of old persons, they will give oral health care to them.
As the way to intensify vocational education, the places to learn and work merge into one educational system and teaching-learning methods that were pointed at lecturer level are adjusted to learners level. However, the current education environment of vocational highschool doesn't keep up with a new teaching and learning paradigm due to the lack of government-level support and the lecturer level education as well. In this paper, we present a novel learner-leading e-Learning teaching & learning contents framework that intensifying self leading education. In this framework, we concern the ability of self leading, space perception and lesson preparation, preferences of multimedia, scholastic aptitude level and achievement level of students in vocational highschool. Moreover, with following the protocol of the suggested model, we generate a new e-learning contents applying to the subject "Introduction to industry". Especially, to perform better quality of contents, we have survey the whole content of the subject and assorted part of it that would work best with learner-leading e-Learning teaching and learning contents. As we tentatively apply e-learning contents to students in vocational highschool, 79% of them replied that contents brought advantages to get school accomplishment, whereas 19% of students answered in negative that contents wasn't helpful than we've expected. Therefore, the statistical results probe that the e-learning contents we proposed show positive effect, and we analyzed the reasons that deteriorate the effects of contents as shortage of budget and copyright limitation.

What are the success factors of IT venture entrepreneur that through initial phase and enter to the growth phase ? Both the duration of jobless growth and the economic recession are worsening employment market. Entrepreneurship is be proposed to a method for creating jobs and reducing the economic gap. Research on Entrepreneurship and the support of government policy has already been operated for a long time ago. Research on growth and duration of the entrepreneur in initial phase, compared with growth phase are insignificant in quantity or quality. Therefore, this study researches essential factors about growth and duration of the entrepreneur in the initial phase through cases related them. entrepreneur of this subject are classified the hardware development group and the software development group associated with manufacturing characteristic funded existence. There is a research on evaluation factors about selection and result evaluation of selecting Entrepreneur. And this can be investigated by studying to Entrepreneur's growth and duration in initial phase. There are affecting factors about growth and duration of first step. And they are divided by internal, external, synthetic, and characteristic factors of growth phase. Internet is no longer a network for special communities but became a global means of communication infrastructure for everyday life. People are exchanging their personal messages using e-mails, students are getting their educational aids through the web, people are buying a variety of goods from cyber shopping malls, and companies are conducting their businesses over the Internet. Recently, such an explosive growth of the traffic in the Internet raised a big concern on how to accommodate ever-changing user's needs in terms of an amount of the traffic, characteristics of the traffic, and various service quality requirements, Over provisioning can be a simple solution but it is too expensive and inefficient. Thus many new technologies to solve this very difficult puzzle have bcen introduced recently, Any single solution, however, can be insufficient and a carefully designed architecture, which integrates a group of solutions, is required. In this paper, we propose a policy-based Internet QoS provisioning, traffic engineering and perfonnance management system as our solution to this problem. Our integrated management QoS solution can provide highly responsive flow-through service provisioning, more realistic service and resource policy control based on the real network performance information, and centralized control of traffic engineering for heterogeneous networks.
Background As the demand for cosmetic surgery continues to rise, plastic surgery programs and the training core curriculum have evolved to reflect these changes. This study aims to evaluate the perceived quality of current cosmetic surgery training in terms of case exposure and educational methods. Methods A 16-question survey was sent to graduates who completed their training at a U.S. plastic surgery training program in 2017. The survey assessed graduates' exposure to cosmetic surgery, teaching modalities employed and their overall perceived competence. Case complexity was characterized by the minimum number of cases needed by the graduate to feel confident in performing the procedure. Results There was a 25% response rate. The majority of respondents were residents (83%, n=92) and the remaining were fellows (17%, n=18). Almost three quarters of respondents were satisfied with their cosmetic training. Respondents rated virtual training as the most effective learning modality and observing attendings' patients/cases as least effective. Perceived competence was more closely aligned with core curriculum status than case complexity, i.e. graduates feel more prepared for core cosmetic procedures despite being more technically difficult than non-core procedures. Conclusions Despite the variability in cosmetic exposure during training, most plastic surgery graduates are satisfied with their aesthetic training. Incorporation of teaching modalities, such as virtual training, can increase case exposure and allow trainees more autonomy. The recommended core curriculum is adequately training plastic surgery graduates for common procedures and more specialized procedures should be consigned to aesthetic fellowship training.
The purpose of this study was to provide basic data necessary for educating dental hygiene students by establishing a desirable sense of ethics values. In this descriptive research, 97 dental hygiene students and 100 non-dental hygiene students (in other health related fields) from Daegu Gyeongbuk City were selected. Tools used for data analysis were descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Scheffe test and correlation analysis with SPSS/WIN 17.0 version. Average scores for consciousness of biomedical ethics in dental hygiene students was 2.87, and in non-dental hygiene students, 2.82. When differences in the consciousness of biomedical ethics of dental hygiene and non-dental hygiene students were compared, dental hygiene students had significantly higher scores for prenatal diagnosis of fetus, right to life of newborn, right to life of fetus, brain death, artificial abortion, but significantly lower for organ transplantation. Variables which influenced consciousness of biomedical ethics were etihcal values in the dental hygiene students and intent to attend a class in biomedical ethics, quantity and quality of experience of hearing for biomedical ethics and religion in the non-dental hygiene students. Continuing educational programs need to be considered and attention given to the significant variables that can promote consciousness of biomedical ethics in dental hygiene students.
