복합재료 적층판의 유한요소법 기반 역학적 거동 해석

  • In this paper, a composite material analysis program based on the finite element method(FEM) is used. The purpose of this study was to verify whether the composite material analysis program which developed as part of a project of development of softwares and educational contents for structural vibration and composite material analysis that can calculate how similar the macroscopic mechanical behavior of the composite materials actually. Because composite materials are generally anisotropic, analysis of composite laminate is used for the constitutive equations of orthotropic material. For convenience, the unit is ommited in all calculations. To verify the accuracy of the finite element method based program, the deflection and stress distribution of the simply supported composite material laminated plate subjected to a uniform load distribution is compared with exact solution. Size and properties of the composite material laminate used for analysis are fixed variables, and by changing the number of elements and the total thickness of the laminate is compared with the exact solution to the resulting value, respectively.

The Effects and the Development of Learning Materials for the Discussion in Science Classes of the Secondary School - Focussing on the Concepts of Force and Motion - (중학교 과학과 토의 학습을 위한 자료개발과 적용 효과 - 힘과 운동 개념을 중심으로 -)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop learning materials for the discussion and examine the effects of the discussion learning over the students' conceptual change on force and motion. The subjects consisted of 360 middle school students, comprising of 5 discussion groups of 185 students and 5 traditional learning groups of 175 students. The results indicated that students in the discussion groups showed higher achievement than those in the traditional learning groups. Therefore this study supported the importance of discussion in conceptual change. However further research should be conducted to examine other educational effects of discussion.

  • The purpose of environmental education is to cultivate democracy citizens suitable for sustainable society. Suitable citizens for sustainable society are fostered person of environmental literacy, environmental sensibility, ecological and synthetic sights of environmental problems, decision making of environmental problems, and environmental responsibility etc. by environmental education. To achieve this purpose of environmental education effectively, it is desirable that produces and utilizes ICT(Information and Communication Technologies) works and methods that can show efficiently special sides(inter-relation, long-term effects etc.) of environmental problems. ICT environmental education materials and methods are raising the interest and participate of teenagers to environmental education because they are accustomed to the Internet in South Korea. Students can easily conversation with the person of similar interests and environment experts through cyber ICT environmental education. The directions of developing ICT teaching materials for environmental education to enforce self-directed learning, cooperation studying etc.

Empirical and Mathematical Study on the Brachistochrone Problem (최소시간 강하선 문제의 실증적·수학적 고찰)

  • We can easily see the 'cycloid slide' in the many mathematics and science museums. The educational materials, however, do not give us any mathematical principle. For this reason, we, in this thesis, first study the brachistochrone problem in the history of mathematics, and suggest a method of how to teach the principle using 'the dynamic geometry software GSP5' in order to help students understand the idea that the cycloid is the brachistochrone. Secondly, we examine the origin of the calculus of variations and apply it to prove the brachistochrone problem in order to build up the teachers' background knowledge. This allows us to increase the worth of history of mathematics and recognize how useful the learning is which uses technological tools or materials, and we can expect that the learning which makes use of cycloid slide will be meaningful.

  • Agricultural high schools has been changing themselves toward more effective education system to survive in rapidly changing society. Changes occur in new students, in objects of school, and in curriculum. The purpose of this study was to analyze the condition of career education in agriculture high school. Questionnaires were use to collect data from 894 agricultural high schools. Results of this study show that the career education in agriculture high school has many problems in its curriculum, its contents, and the public relation of educational materials. It is recommended that various materials and manuals for career education should be developed and implemented for effective career education in agricultural high school.

  • To achieve the aim of science education, it is known that warious teaching, and learning materials should have to be used. As a sub-textbook for primary science education, 'Sil Hum-Kwan Chal (Experiment and Observation), teaching and learing material are developed and using now in science. This material have following characteristics; (a) Soruce-book contains reading materials for additional information, various pictures to enririch the science concepts, and supplementary and enrichment activities. (b) Work-book consists of the detailed procedures of activities of experiments presented in the textbook, student can record the experimental procedures and results. (c) Operational manuals provide operation techniques for experimental equipments which are used in science class. In this study the using status are surveyed for the 3rd grade of primary school, and based on this survey the improvement plan are discussed in view of design, quantity and utility, of sub-textbook.

A Study on the Finish Material and Color Plan for Elementary School Design (초등학교 건축디자인에서 마감 재료와 색채에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is providing a systematic method of exterior, interior finish materials and color scheme for elementary school and the actual color plans of elementary schools in Busan was analyzed to support the study. As a powerful design tool, a finish materials and a color are very effective to alter the perception of a building and a view. Most of the school, a shape and a material of elevations are monotonous and uniform and it makes students are hard to attach to their schools. As a place for learning and school life, the inner space of elementary classroom needs to be considered very important. The new basic guideline for developing and planning of architectural design could be achieved by researching a current plan and a finish material in elementary school. As a result, this study will benefit in planning both the exterior and interior environments of color.

Early Childhood Environmental Education in Korea (유치원 환경교육의 현황과 과제 -서울 소재 유치원을 중심으로-)

  • Present situation and problems of environmental education in teacher education of 1079 kindergartens located in Seoul were investigated. More than 90% of kindergarten teacher recognized the need of environmental education in early childhood education of Korea. However, only 65% of kindergarten teachers had experiences of providing environmental education for their children. They complained that they had a poor knowledge about environmental problems and environmental education. They reported that kindergarten had no systematic programs and useful materials for environmental education. Firstly, the emphasis of environmental education in teacher education and on-the-job training programs for kindergarten teachers was discussed. And the development of environmental education programs and educational materials for young children on the basic of national policy was proposed.

Readability of Printed Educational Materials Used to Inform Computer Tomography (환자/보호자 교육 및 건강정보제공용 인쇄매체의 읽기쉬움 평가 연구)

  • This study examined the readability of 4 different kinds of patient education handouts about computer tomography tests from 5 different university-affiliated hospitals in Korea. Readability was evaluated in terms of syntax. length of sentence, usage of unfamiliar words. foreign words. Chinese words, abbreviation, and technical jargon. This study found that all of the handouts were very difficult to read. An excessive use of complex and long sentences was found. Unfamiliar words, rarely used in everyday life, were recklessly used. Most of the unfamiliar words were Chinese words and can be exchanged with Korean language. Excessive medical terminologies were used without any explanations. Based on the study results, guidelines to make the handouts easier and more accessible to patients and their family were recommended.

  • This study attempted to establish fire risk factors and preventive measures for each of five major types of construction, focusing on construction sites. For this purpose, disaster cases were analyzed and countermeasures were prepared. In addition, fire risk factors and flammable and combustible materials by construction type according to construction process were identified and preventive measures thereof were suggested. The results of this study can be used to establish policy improvement directions that meet various educational needs and expectations by identifying the use status of flammable and combustible materials and figuring out the fire risk factors according to the process by work type in construction sites.
