  • In this competitive environment which changes rapidly na extensively we can perceive that the role of education is getting important more and more. The challenge that we face is how we can handle the information and convert it to the knowledge. A lot of schools have already tried to improve the effect of education by using the computers. Besides providing the content of education newly and interestingly the educational use of the integrated Media has a strong point in terms of efficiency and effectiveness that it is excellent in storage, communication, control and handling enormous information as well as in a peculiarity of reciprocity, the high usefulness of communicative education using the experience of vision, audition and simulation in the method of participating of students themselves in education that the previous media systems didn't have. This thesis brought up a substantial problem in producing the consequences of education for children by investigating the psychological and recognitional abilities of children and by understanding the essence of the Integrated Media. And this study provided the solution in terms of the content and the viewpoint in design to raise the educational efficiency and effectiveness of the Integrated Media even though it is just a partial solution.

  • In this study, we analyzed the end-of-chapter questions in 8 types of chemistry II textbooks for science teachers according to revised Bloom's taxonomy of educational objectives not only to raise interests of questions in textbooks but also acquire a basic material for using questions in textbooks effectively. The results of classification following Bloom's cognitive category showed that 'Understanding(44.7%)' level was the most, then 'Application(29.9%)', Knowledge(15.6%) and 'Analysis (9.5%)' in order, which is distinct difference from the result of classification of the end-of-chapter questions in college general chemistry books which was 'Application', 'Analysis' and 'Understanding' in order. Especially, questions of 'Evaluation' level were not found at all in any textbook investigated and 'Synthesis(0.3%)' level was very few. On the other hand, the percentage of questions in 'Understanding' and 'Executing Quantitative' which required specific algorithms was 70% of total with most of the questions in 'Application' were 'Executing Quantitative'.

  • This study proposes an educational direction to be followed by the clothing departments of Korea's specialized high schools in order to help achieve high levels of job placements and to strengthen their students' competitiveness. A comparison was made of the curricula in Korea's specialized high schools and in several fashion schools in other countries including the United States, Italy, France, Taiwan, and Japan. To this end, publicly available educational records were retrieved from domestic school documentation, vocational high school portals, and domestic/overseas school web sites, and were then reviewed. The archival data extracted from these sources shows that the curricula of the three chosen domestic schools uniformly focus on foundational courses such as general computer skills, general design, accounting principles, design principles, and drawing, as well as practical courses such as the design of western clothing, fashion design, fashion CAD, management of clothing material, design of Korean clothing, and knitting. Unlike these standardized courses, it was found that overseas fashion schools provide a more technically-advanced and design-focused education based on the interests of the individual student. Moreover, their education system nurtures the students' creativity through adequate field experience and history/language education. The findings of this study suggest that Korean specialized high schools should find a way to accommodate their students' interests and to provide them with personalized fashion education by adopting a more flexible curriculum. An educational line that considers the individual student's aptitudes and career path will help foster creativity and novel ideas, which, in turn, will contribute to the development of the fashion industry.

  • In this paper, it was investigated academic achievement whether any differences in accordance with the teaching methods in the materials processing section in 'technology and home economics' curricular. Target groups were compared to the eighth grade and ninth grade junior high school. Both eighth and ninth grade were selected for the first time learning the material processing section. The eighth grade was lessoned using the educational media, but the ninth grade was lessoned using writing. The results from the six questions, in one educational media utilization class got 71.1% correct answers, the other groups got 45.3% correct answers. The average percent correct differences between the two groups showed 25.8% points improvement in academic achievement.

The followings are the results from the study: Adult education participation level were lower. Adult education participation level per adult education type showed higher participation at private institutes, lower at cultural center of community and school's human and material resources are not properly utilized in adult educational activities. By adult education participation level per gender and location, women have a higher participation level then men, and urban areas have a higher participation level then rural areas. In case of location, environment variables is most explanatory in adult education participation level. To strive for methods to activate school-oriented adult education activities and to develop political solution to ease the resources gaps for adult education investment among regions in order not to deepen environment gaps of adult education between urban and rural areas. For adult education activation, institution and bodies in charge of adult education should expand and discover hardware and develop and distribute software. • The purpose of this study is to explore the environmental educational relevance of Oriental Storks and school wetland biotope, and to explore environmental education methods using them. Through the study of literature, the history encompassing the extinction and restoration of resident Oriental Storks and the utilization of school wetland biotope, were considered, and the meaning and connection of environmental education were derived. Based on this, planned an environmental education program for all elementary school students. The program consisted of a total of 17 steps reflecting the core elements of environmental education. The specific learning material of an Oriental Stork and the specific place of a wetland biotope as a school facility were linked to provide experience and practice. In conclusion, environmental education for coexistence with nature can be promoted, and the specificity and systematicity of contents can be secured.

  • e-Learning content can be defined as digital content to achieve educational goals. Since it is an educational material that can be distributed in offline, online, and mobile environments, it is important to create content that meets the learner's education environment and educational goals. In particular, if the learner is a public official, the vision, philosophy, and characteristics of each local government must reflect. As non-face-to-face online education expands further due to the COVID-19 pandemic, local governments that have relied on onsite education in the past urgently require developing strong basic competency education and special task competency content that reflect regional characteristics. Such e-learning content, however, hardly exists and the ability to independently develop them is also insufficient. In this circumstance, this case study describes the process of self-production of e-learning content suitable for Busan's characteristics by the Human Resource Development (HRD) Institute of Busan City, a local government. The field of instructional design and instructional technology is always evolving and growing by blending technological innovation into instructional platform design and adapting to the changes in society. Busan HRD Institute (BHI), therefore, tried to implement blended learning by developing content that reflected the recent trend of micro-learning in e-learning through a detailed analysis. For this, an e-learning content developer with certain requirements was selected and contracted, and the process of developing content through a collaboration between the client and developer was described in this study according to the ADDIE model of Instructional Systems Development (ISD).

It also carried out more detailed quantitative analysis on the relationship between educational environment factors and housing price with the case study of Yangcheon-gu, Seoul. This study found out that the close relationship between educational environment, housing price and social disparity at various spatial scales. It also figured out the the educational environment factors play an important role of housing price determination as much as material features per se. This means that the relationship between education, housing price and inequality needs to be dealt with not just socially but also in spatial perspective. In addition, the housing price determination is not just technical research but an social science issue in the context of rising socio-spatial disparity. This study is of only significance as a starting point of promising related researches in the future and much more efforts will be needed.
