This information is then applied to educational purpose and curriculum for a home economics curriculum that develops unique characteristics for Korean alternative education. This study collected and analyzed the characteristics of educational content and educational elements from two renowned alternative schools: Waldorf School in Germany and Summer Hill in the United Kingdom. The research results were as follows. First, it is necessary to create new word instead of using the term 'alternative education'. Second, among characteristics of Korean home economics curriculum, 'practical problem-solving ability', 'independent living ability', and 'relation forming ability' should be utilized to create a school with an independent curriculum and to establish a unique brand value. Third, time investment on instructor education should be made to cultivate competent and charming instructors as the center of a school. Lastly, school education should manage student's life at school and after graduation. The school and instructor should provide alternative education while thinking they are responsible for 50 years of a student's future life. This study helps show that alternative education is not perceived as a superficial and generalized education and that Korean alternative education can find similar characteristic to those of overseas cases.

  • This article analyzes motivations behind social sciences blog posts citing journal articles in order to find out whether blog citations are good indicators for the societal impact or benefits of research. A random sample of 300 social sciences blog posts (out of 1,233 blog posts) from ResearchBlogging.org published between 01/01/2012 to 18/06/2014 were subjected to content analysis. The 300 blog posts had 472 references including 424 journal articles from 269 different journals. Sixty-one (22.68%) of all cited journals were from the social sciences and most of the journals with high frequency were highly cited general science journals such as PNAS and Science. Seventy-five percent of all journals were referenced only once. The average age of articles cited at the time of citation was 5.8 years. Discussion and criticism were the two main categories of motivations. Overall, the study shows the potential of blog citations as an altmetric measure and as a proxy for assessing the research impact. A considerable number of citation motivations in blogs such as disputing a belief, suggesting policies, providing a solution to a problem, reacting to media, criticism and the like seemed to support gaining societal benefits. Societal benefits are considered as helping stimulate new approaches to social issues, or informing public debate and policymaking. Lower self-citation (compared to some other altmetric measures such as tweets) and the fact that blogging involves generating content (i.e. an intellectual process) give them an advantage for altmetrics. However, limitations and contextual issues such as disciplinary differences and low uptake of altmetrics, in general, in scholarly communication should not be ignored when using blogs as a data source for altmetrics.

Hence the 7th Science Curriculum of Korea emphasize on the sequence between grades. 2. In aim of Science Curriculum, the 7th Science Curriculum of Korea show more emphasis on the practical application than the New Science Curriculum of Japan. 3. In construction of content, a area of science content is handled with gradual advance in several grades and several areas of content are treated in a grade in the 7th Science Curriculum of Korea. On the contrary, a area of content is treated intensively in a grade in the New Science Curriculum of Japan. Therefore, the 7th Science Curriculum of Korea shows more reflection of connection and hierarchy between grades. 4. The statements of the 7th Science Curriculum of Korea are centering around specific matters and include specific activities, but the New Science Curriculum of Japan focuses on concepts to team and does not state specific activities.

And the 7th textbooks are greatly emphasized knowledge and science attitude. Second, as a results of the illustration analysis are as follows: There are conspicuous differences in that the illustration number of the 7th science textbooks Is about twice the illustration number of the 6th science textbooks and next, they place more weights on pictures and comics hard to discovery in the 6th science textbooks. Therefore, they have tried to induce the interests of students and heighten their understanding by supplementing the role of illustration presented as picture-centered and increasing its number presented as picture. In this study, a distribution modeling of the e-book business as a way to solve the problem of the domestic market of disabled was carried out to analyze the Amazon.com and Apple's e-book content distribution structure of the active leader in the U.S. market. And we tried to suggest a solution by investigation and analysis of the college students's receptive attitude on the e-book content as the main target to enable the markets based on the interest for publication. In adoption attitude survey, mainly low-readability and lack of content problem were reasons not to accommodate. There is a need to improve the quantity and quality of content through with technological advances and market participation together. For more participation, we expect to take advantage of the results of this study to establish or improve the systematic distribution structure.

  • This study examined the optimum conditions and obtained the basic data for processing semi-dried sea cucumber flakes. During the boiling process, the weight and length of the sea cucumber decreased to 45.61% and 55.87%, respectively. Thereafter, there was a gradual decrease in the weight and length of the sea cucumber, which were finally maintained at 30.00% and 50.93%, respectively. The moisture content during drying was 38.37% after 3 hours at $60^{\circ}C$, and 36.56% after 5 hours at $30^{\circ}C$. However, the decrease in moisture content was slowly at 60 hours and $4^{\circ}C$, reaching a final value of 68.9%. The length of boiled sea cucumber during drying decreased to 66.35% after 11 hours at $60^{\circ}C$, and 68.90% after 24 hours at $30^{\circ}C$. The chromaticity and hardness tended to increase during the drying process. Moisture content and water activity of sea cucumber flakes decreased from 81.48% (0.963) to 33.50% (0.763), respectively, after 3 hours at $60^{\circ}C$. Following this, the moisture content and water activity continuously decreased to 30.75% (0.608) at 4 hours and 19.47% (0.437) at 5 hours, respectively. The overall acceptance score was 4.11 and 3.89 for 4 hours dry sample and 5 hours dry sample, respectively. However, the score was not statistically significant.

  • In e-learning industry which represents the convergence of IT and education, the standard of e-learning content development cost has been calculated according to the guideline or standard of existing similar industries without considering the characteristics of the industry until today. The absence of contents development cost standard related to e-learning has been recognized as one of the most difficulties in e-learning industry. The calculation of the content development cost without reflecting the characteristics of e-learning industry has bad effects such as the degradation of content quality and development of e-learning industry, and the growth obstruction of them. This paper suggest a standard of development cost for e-learning content development considering the characteristics of e-learning industry. We analyse current problems and the characteristics in e-learning industry, and define the development cost standard. We propose the methodology for developing e-learning industry and for contributing quality improvement of e-learning content.
