  • Due to social problems related to the recently increased number of people with bad credit, the argument has been made that economic education should be started long before their actual social life. Likewise, teaching methods and the content of economic education are also being actively discussed. To induce economic understanding in reality and to educate healthy consumers, long-term economic programs should be developed and implemented for adolescents while they are still at school.

  • The education system in this paper is used to demonstrate and educate the effects of electromagnetic induction. Placing an aluminum ring over the core and switching on AC source causes the ring to jump in the air due to induced currents in the ring producing a magnetic field opposed to that produced in the core. To control the position of the ring by only the current, it is to require nonlinear control algorithm and control board that is composed of photo sensors, decode circuit, computer communication, and power electronics circuit. This paper provides the development for education system in detail and the effects of dynamic neural networks for nonlinear control with on line is studied.

  • There is a question, 'Which is beautiful, a flower or a star?'. Its answer is different from one person .to another. It is only a matter of what one is interested in. It is very difficult for most school pupils, who will have non-scientific jobs, to understand science courses taught currently in school, because each science (physics, chemistry, biology, and earth science) is independently taught from the other sciences. Therefore, their knowledge of sciences obtained during their school period does not significantly help their understanding of global environmental problems. I am proposing that several scientific stories should be prepared to connect all the related scientific phenomena in order to give those pupils ideas in understanding global environmental problems. I believe that astronomy is able to play an important role in this context.

  • To educate students to adjust and lead their future society oriented on technologies and information communications, most of the countries in the world try to reform their traditional mathematics education. Contemporary Mathematics in Context (CMIC) developed by Core-Plus Mathematics Project in WMU has been developed in order to assist school districts in reforming their high schools mathematics programs in the United States, and $7^{th}$ Korean National Mathematics Curriculum was developed to guide reforming Korean mathematics program in 1997. In this presentation, by analyzing essential differences between the two curricula according to Korean Mathematics Curriculum, we may find some implications of CMIC for Korean mathematics education.

  • Railway signal facilities are very important because they are directly related to safe train operation. By the result of the unification of signal and station control, station control staffs have been having a hard time to grasp the knowledge about signal facilities and the fault restoration ability in a short term since the existing manuals were only made with text materials. To meet the growing demand to educate the maintenance work in actual and effective way, the maintenance manuals and periodic procedures was developed in the forms of video clips and animations with quality contents onto a DVD enabling not only to improve the maintenance works for signal facilities but to contribute budget saving and profit generating.

  • Objectives : This study was to describe burnout and job satisfaction among dental hygienists in some legions. Methods : A cross-sectional survey of dental hygienists were conducted using a custom-designed and validated questionnaire which incorporated the Maslach Burnout Inventory-Human Services Survey(MBI-HSS) as well as questions about demographic factors job-related factors and job satisfaction. MBI-HSS scores were analysed in the three dimensions of emotional exhaustion(EE), depersonalization(DP) and personal accomplishment(PA). 84 dental hygienists were conducted the survey and the mean age of they were 26.9. Results : On the MBI-HSS, they had high burnout in EE, PA and average burnout in DP. There are significant differences of burnout according to job satisfaction. Conclusions : Dental hygienists should be educate about preventing burnout.

  • Purpose: The purposes of this study were to identify awareness and attitudes toward advance directives (ADs) among Korean adults and to examine various opinions in the utilization of ADs among young, middle-aged, and older adults. Methods: Data were collected using a structured questionnaire from 384 adults selected by a quota sampling method on the basis of age. Results: The majority of participants preferred that they themselves would be the primary decision maker. Most of them were unaware of the option of ADs but supported the utilization of ADs. Most of the participants preferred detailed descriptions on end-of-life decisions in ADs but wanted to allow some leeway in following it. Significant differences were found among age groups in terms of the preferences regarding the utilization of ADs. Conclusion: It is suggested that nurses make efforts to educate the general public about ADs and facilitate advance care planning, which focuses on the process of communication on end-of-life preferences within the social network of relationships.

  • We investigated the education process of an environmental experiment in middle and high school. The major objective was that students understand about biological toxicity of endocrine disruptor. We used bisphenol A in environmental experiment to educate them about the effects of endocrine disruptor. The test animal was zebrafish (Danio rerio, wild type) which is very easy to use in the school experiment class. We educated the high school students (n=25) in Suwon through this teaching program. Finally we analyzed the effect of research education between two groups, education students (test) and non-education students (control). This experiment showed there were some positive effects on environmental reorganization of students. They understood the affect of endocrine disruptors in fish and man. Specifically, understanding the importance of preservation of ecosystem increased in the test-education group.

  • The purpose of the present paper is to review the content of the Consumer Education Programs, is to establish a hypothetical model regarding the contents of the consumer Education programs, and is also to analyze the contents of the Consumer Education Programs seen from the various angles of the value of our home life. For this, we have researched literatures and habe made the hypothetical model for the desirable contents of the consumer education programs, and also have conducted a case study together with and analysis bearing the actual evidence. Form what we have studied regarding the results of the research, conclusions that can be derived are as follows; First, the contents of the consumer education programs of Korea are not sufficient to improve the quality of the environments of our houses, family life, and decision making. Secondly, the contents of the consumer education do not meet the societal and economic changes. Third, since the contents of the consumer program of Korea emphasize the theory-oriented discussion, they are not suitable to educate the consumers who are really in need of consumer education.
