로소나이트(Lawsonite)의 압력에 따른 등방성 압축거동 연구 (Isotropic Compression Behavior of Lawsonite Under High-pressure Conditions)

  • 자연산 로소나이트(Ca-Lawsonite, $CaAl_2Si_2O_7(OH)_2{\cdot}H_2O$) 분말의 압력증가에 따른 변화와 구조적 특성을 소형 압력 발생장치인 다이아몬드 앤빌셀과 실시간 싱크로트론 X-선 회절실험을 통하여 확인하였다. 본 연구에서 시료에 적용한 압력은 1 기압에서 8 GPa 까지였으며 메탄올, 에탄올, 물의 혼합 용액을 압력 매개체로 하여 상온조건에서 실험하였고, 특이한 상전이나 압력하 부피변화의 이상현상은 발견되지 않은 가역적 압축특성을 관찰하였다. 최고압력까지 로소나이트는 결정성을 잃지 않는 것으로 확인되었고 압력증가에 따른 체적감소를 통해 체적탄성률($B_0$)을 계산해 본 결과 146(6) GPa로 도출되었다. 체적탄성률과 함께 계산된 선형압축률은 a-, b-, c-축에서 각각 0.0022, 0.0024, $0.0020GPa^{-1}$로 압력에 의한 부피감소는 대체적으로 3축이 같은 비율로 감소하는 것을 확인하였다.

Behavior of Lateral Earth Pressure around the Underpass Constructed by the STS Construction Method

  • Recently developed trenchless construction methods ensure stability for the ground settlement by inserting steel pipes along the underpass section and integrating steel pipes before ground excavation to form pipe-roof. This study is to confirm the reinforcing effect of pipe-roof by measuring lateral earth pressure acting on the underpass constructed by the STS (Steel Tube Slab) construction method. For this purpose, lateral earth pressure was measured at the left and right side of the pipe-roof after installing earth pressure cells. As a result, lateral earth pressure was measured with considerable reduction because the integrated pipe-roof shared surcharge. Therefore, economic design for the underpass could be expected by sharing design load by pipe-roof. In addition, construction cost was analyzed according to the design-load sharing ratio by pipe-roof. As pipe-roof shares design load by 40%, the total construction cost can decrease by almost 10% in the case of four-lane underpass.

경제적 스트레스와 결혼불안정성과의 관계 : 부부 상호작용을 중심으로 (The Relationship between Economic Stress and Marital Instability : Focus on the Interaction Behaviors of Couples)

  • This study explored the impact of couple interaction behaviors on the relationship between economic stress and marital instability. The study results showed that economic satisfaction and economic pressure greatly influenced the marital instability of married males and females. However, the interaction behaviors of couples tended to have a stronger impact on marital instability than economic stress. In other words, perceived spouse support and perceived spouse hostility had a significant impact on marital instability, with perceived spouse hostility being the more damaging of the two. The study also showed that there were sender differences regarding the impact of couple interaction behaviors on marital instability and economic stress. For married males, economic satisfaction as well as couple interactions influenced significantly on their marital instability. For females the impact of couple interactions on their marital instability tended to be more salient. On the whole, the results of the interaction effects between economic stress and couple interaction behaviors on marital instability did not appear significant, except in the case of females' perceived spouse hostility and its effect on marital instability.

냉연신 공법을 이용한 압력용기의 제조에 관한 연구 (A Study on Pressure Vessel using Cold Stretch Method)

  • A pressure vessel consists of an inner tank and the outer tank; the material of the inner tank is austenite stainless steel, and the outer tank is general carbon steel. As the storage amount increase, the size of the inner tank for LNG also increases, which eventually increases the weight of the LNG storage tank. The Cold Stretch method can transport and store the LNG in a larger amount than the conventional pressure container, and the weight of the pressure vessel can also be reduced at 50 70% due to the reduction of the thickness, which is excellent from an economic and energy consumption perspective. Although the Cold Stretch method has these advantages, the domestic situation has not developed any related legislation. In this study, the actual production of pressure vessels using the Cold Stretch method will be processed and the volume expansion after the Cold Stretch will be checked and compared with the mechanical properties.

한국형 봅슬레이화 개발을 위한 구간 시간과 족저압력 분석 (The Analysis of Foot Pressure and Lap Time for the Development of Korean Bobsleigh Shoes)

  • Objective : A study and development of Korean Bobsleigh athletes's shoe which considers their physical condition has yet to be completed. So this study examines the effects of running shoes used by athletes based on plantar pressure and sprint time in order to provide raw data for the development of bobsleigh shoes suitable for Koreans. Method : The study selected seven bobsleigh athletes as subjects and selected three pairs of spiked running shoes from three companies, which will be referred to as Company N (Type A), Company A (Type B), and Company M (Type C). To analyze sprint time and plantar pressure for each shoe, the subject of the study were instructed to wear the selected shoes and to drag a sled at maximum sprint for 15 meters for 15 meters for in each condition that would be in real bobsleigh competitions. Results : The average sprint intervals for each athlete in each pair of shoes revealed Type C produce the fastest sprint in the order of Type C < Type A< Type B. Shoe Type C also had the largest contact area in order of Type C > Type B > Type A (p<.01). None of the three shoe types seem to yield a distinct advantage in terms of maximum average pressure or maximum pressure. Conclusion : In the future, functional analysis should be carried out by comparing the material properties, hardness, and toe spring of shoes based on the Type C shoe from Company M in order to develop bobsleigh shoes suitable for Koreans.

천연가스 정압기지의 압력강하를 이용한 터보팽창기 전력생산 (Turbo Expander Power Generation Using Pressure Drop at Valve Station in Natural Gas Transportation Pipeline)

  • 고압으로 수송되는 천연가스를 수요처에 공급하는 정압기지에서는 강제로 감압하여 보내준다. 이 때, 버려지는 압력에너지를 회수하는 방법으로 터보팽창기를 이용한 전력생산이 가능하며, 터보팽창기는 정압과 전력생산의 두 가지 기능을 동시에 수행하게 된다. 터보팽창기에서 생산되는 전력의 양은 유동전후의 엔탈피 차이며, 경제성에 영향을 미치는 주요인자로는 설비비, 전력생산량, 예열량, 전력가격, 가스가격의 5가지이다. 입구와 출구의 압력과 온도 조건이 고정되므로, 전력생산량은 결국 유량에 좌우된다. 따라서, 천연가스 수요의 계절별 수급변화 패턴에 따른 터보팽창기 적정용량을 결정하는 것이 경제성확보의 핵심기술이다. 유동량변화가 심한 경우의 전력생산량 산정법의 algorithm을 제시하였으며 이를 사용한 case study를 수행하였다.

Sequential optimization for pressure management in water distribution networks

  • Most distributed water is not used effectively due to water loss occurring in pipe networks. These water losses are caused by leakage, typically due to high water pressure to ensure adequate water supply. High water pressure can cause the pipe to burst or develop leaks over time, particularly in an aging network. In order to reduce the amount of leakage and ensure proper water distribution, it is important to apply pressure management. Pressure management aims to maintain a steady and uniform pressure level throughout the network, which can be achieved through various operational schemes. The schemes include: (1) installing a variable speed pump (VSP), (2) introducing district metered area (DMA), and (3) operating pressure-reducing valves (PRV). Applying these approaches requires consideration of various hydraulic, economic, and environmental aspects. Due to the different functions of these approaches and related components, an all-together optimization of these schemes is a complicated task. In order to reduce the optimization complexity, this study recommends a sequential optimization method. With three network operation schemes considered (i.e., VSP, DMA, and PRV), the method explores all the possible combinations of pressure management paths. Through sequential optimization, the best pressure management path can be determined using a multiple-criteria decision analysis (MCDA) to weigh in factors of cost savings, investment, pressure uniformity, and CO2 emissions. Additionally, the contribution of each scheme to pressure management was also described in the application results.

  • The purpose of this study was to find the optimal arrangement of FPSO equipment in a module while considering the economic value and fire risk. We estimated the economic value using the pipe connections and pump installation cost in an HP (high pressure) gas compression module. The equipment risks were also analyzed using fire scenarios based on historical data. To consider the wind effect during a fire accident, fuzzy modeling was applied to improve the accuracy of the analysis. The objective functions consisted of the economic value and fire risk, and the constraints were the equipment maintenance and weight balance of the module. We generated a Pareto-optimal front group using a multi-objective GA (genetic algorithm) and suggested an equipment arrangement method that included the opinions of the designer.

수산업의 고유가 대응 정책 방향 (Fisheries Countermeasures Against Rising Oil Prices)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the impacts of the rapid rise in oil prices on fisheries economy. Even though fishery oils are tax exemption items, such increase in oil prices put a great amount of pressure on Korean fishing operations. Because basically the recent oil shock is externally given, Korean fisheries themselves have little capacity to cope with the disruption of economic environments. The research results turned out that Korean fisheries are extremely vulnerable(or fragile) to external shocks. In this regard, government support issues of oil costs are in the center of debate. It is widely recognized that direct/indirect government financial supports or subsidies would result in economic inefficiency in expense of equity. However, there are second best theories which may justify government intervention into the markets. This second best theory is translated into the constitutional law that instructs the government to protect and promote the primary industries including fisheries, agriculture, and midium/small-scale enterprises. It is apparent that the constitutional law would provide the government with a variety of policy instruments such as more active buy-back programs, tax exemptions and technological development to deal with fisheries economic hardship due to the external pressure such as high oil prices and international fishery orders.

소셜 커머스에서 재구매 의도의 결정 요인 (The Determinants of the Repurchase in the Social Commerce)

  • Purpose This study identified the factors influencing on the continuous purchase of social commerce and analyzed the proposed model empirically using structural model. Design/methodology/approach Five independent factors such as economic benefit, social pressure, personal innovativeness, security and reputation and two mediating factors such as value perception and trust were extracted and relationships were explored. This study was carried out through customer survey and statistical analysis on the survey. Findings The result showed that three independent variables such as economic benefit, social pressure and security significantly affected on value perception and trust. Moreover, personal innovativeness and reputation did not have significant influence on customer purchase intention showing different result from the cases of traditional electronic commerce. The results of this study are meaningful in that factors affecting customer purchase intention in social commerce were identified from comprehensive perspective and the importance of customer profit and social influence was verified through empirical study in social commerce.
