초등학교 고학년 아동의 신체증상 및 생활습관이 자살생각에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Physical Symptoms and Lifestyle on Suicidal Ideation of Senior Grade Students in Elementary School)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to analyze physical symptom-related and life-style factors affecting suicidal ideation of senior grade students in elementary school. Methods: Physical symptom-related and life-style factors were used to investigate suicidal ideation among 663 elementary school students. From February 11 to 15, 2018, data were collected using a structured questionnaire and analyzed using the $x^2$ test, Pearson correlation analysis, and logistic regression analysis in SPSS for Windows version 22.0. Results: The factors affecting suicidal ideation were gender, family structure, economic status, academic performance, exposure to school violence during the past year, physical symptoms, drinking experience, smoking experience, sleeping time, and ramen noodle consumption. The regression analysis showed that exposure to school violence during the past year (odds ratio [OR]: 102.99, 95% confidence interval [CI]: 51.19~207.19, p=.001), number of physical symptoms (OR: 1.25, 95% CI: 1.12~1.41, p=.001), drinking experience (OR: 3.17, 95% CI: 1.66~6.06, p=.001), and game and internet usage time (OR: 2.08, 95% CI: 1.08~4.01, p=.029) affected suicidal ideation. Conclusion: This study revealed that physical symptoms and life-style significantly influenced suicidal ideation. Therefore, interventions to reduce suicidal ideation in children must focus on improving children's physical symptoms and life-style.

Atmospheric Corrosion Behavior of Weathering Steel Exposed to the Outdoors for 10 Years in Korea

  • Steel structures exposed to the outdoors experienced several types of corrosion, which may reduce their thickness. Since atmospheric corrosion can induce economic losses, it is important to consider the atmospheric corrosion behavior of a variety of metals and alloys. This work performed outdoor exposure tests for 10 years at 14 areas in Korea and calculated the atmospheric corrosion rate of weathering steel. This paper discussed the atmospheric corrosion behavior of weathering steel based on various corrosion factors. The average corrosion rates in coastal, industrial, urban, and rural areas were found to range from (2.83 to 4.23) ㎛/y, (2.99 to 4.23) ㎛/y, (1.72 to 3.14) ㎛/y, and (1.57 to 2.85) ㎛/y respectively. It should be noted that the maximum corrosion rate was about 6.0 times greater than the average corrosion rate. Regardless of the exposure sites, the color differences were increased, but the glossiness was reduced and there was no relationship between the corrosion rate and environmental factors and the glossiness.

Benzene and Leukemia: The 0.1 ppm ACGIH Proposed Threshold Limit Value for Benzene

  • The American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists (ACGIH) has proposed a threshold limit value (TLV) for benzene of 0.1 ppm. Individuals representing the American Petroleum Institute (API)and the Chemical Manufacturers Association (CMA) have argued that 1) the risk assessment by Rinsky .et al. which ACGIH partially relied upon for its proposed TLV overestimates the risk; however, at the exposures levels of interest - (e.g., 0.1 to 1.0 ppm) for establishing a benzene TLV, the Rinsky et al. assessment provides lower estimates of leukemia risk than most others; 2) ACGIH should not use the Dow study for direct observational evidence of leukemia risk associated with low-level benzene exposure because of confounding exposure; however, it is unlikely that confounding exposures played a role in the excess of leukemia demonstrated in the study, and the Dow cohort was exposed to an average benzene concentration of about 5.5 ppm benzene for 7.11 years (31:1.5 ppm-years), while some of the individuals in the study who died from leukemia were exposed to an average of only 1.0 ppm without the opportunity for highpeak exposures; 3) the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) established an 8-hour time-weighted average (TWA) of 1.0 ppm in 1987, and there is no new evidence that would justify reducing the TWA below that level; however, the OSHA TWA of 1.0 ppm was based on economic feasibility and the level of excess risk remaining at 1.0 ppm, i.e., 10 excess leukemia deaths per 1000 workers over an occupational lifetime (45 years) according to OSHA's preferred estimate leaves behind I risk considered significant by OSHA. In addition, chromosomal studies among workers and in animals exposed to benzene indicate that low-level exposure, i.e., 1.0 ppm, is associated with elevated Cytogenetic damage. On the basis of adverse health effects data alone, in this author's opinion, it would be poor science and poor public health policy to establish a benzene TLV greater than 0.1 ppm.

  • 원자력시설의 정상 운영시 일반인에 대한 단위 집단선량의 금전가 (피폭선량 금전가) 모델을 기본으로, 사고후 만성피폭에 대해 보다 적용 타당한 모델을 제안하였다. 아울러 우리나라 경제 환경자료를 사용하여 제안된 모델에 근거하여 평가한 피폭선량 금전가를 정상 운영시로부터 유도된 값을 수정없이 그대로 사고후 만성 피폭에 적용한 값과 비교, 분석하였다. 제안된 방법론에 근거할 경우 집단선량은 같다하더라도 피폭받은 집단내 개인선량의 불균일성 차이에 따라 피폭선량 금전가는 상당히 다르게 나타났다. 또한 할인율도 피폭선량 금전가 결정에 있어서 중요한 요소로 작용하였다.

Skin Corrosion and Irritation Test of Nanoparticles Using Reconstructed Three-Dimensional Human Skin Model, EpiDermTM

  • Effects of nanoparticles (NPs) on skin corrosion and irritation using three-dimensional human skin models were investigated based on the test guidelines of Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD TG431 and TG439). EpiDerm$^{TM}$ skin was incubated with NPs including those harboring iron (FeNPs), aluminum oxide (AlNPs), titanium oxide (TNPs), and silver (AgNPs) for a defined time according to the test guidelines. Cell viabilities of EpiDerm$^{TM}$ skins were measured by the 3-(4, 5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2.5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide based method. FeNPs, AlNPs, TNPs, and AgNPs were non-corrosive because the viability was more than 50% after 3 min exposure and more than 15% after 60 min exposure, which are the non-corrosive criteria. All NPs were also non-irritants, based on viability exceeding 50% after 60 min exposure and 42 hr post-incubation. Release of interleukin 1-alpha and histopathological analysis supported the cell viability results. These findings suggest that FeNPs, AlNPs, TNPs, and AgNPs are 'non-corrosive' and 'non-irritant' to human skin by a globally harmonized classification system.

  • 국제통상을 하는 기업은 위험 선호도에 따라 금융시장을 통해 외화자산 혹은 외화부채의 헷징(hedging)을 목적으로 파생금융상품을 쉽게 구매할 수 있다. 파생금융상품 시장은 투자와 헷지의 필요에 따라 급속도로 성장해왔다. 기업은 금융 파생금융상품을 통해 환위험 관리를 하면서 위험을 헷징한다. 기초자산을 헷징할 때는 환노출 완화전략으로 헷징이 효과적일 수 있다. 하지만 파생상품을 통한 이익에 대한 욕심과 예상치 못한 환율 변동이 발생할 때 기업에 상당한 위험을 초래할 수도 있다. 본 논문은 환위험을 다루는 파생상품에 내재된 구조적인 위험을 시스템다이내믹스 관점에서 분석하고 있다. 대표적인 파생금융상품인 KIKO는 구조적인 위험 요인 때문에 금융위기에 크나 큰 손실을 끼쳤다. 본 논문에서는 KIKO의 구조적 위험 요인을 모델링하고 실제 사례를 통해 검증하여 파생금융상품의 시스템 구조를 파악하고 내재되어 있는 구조적 위험을 밝혔다.

오염된 토양, 지하수 및 쌀의 인체노출에 따른 비소의 위해성 평가 (Risk Assessment of Arsenic by Human Exposure of Contaminated Soil, Groundwater and Rice Grain)

  • 본 연구에서는 폐금속광산 지역에서의 비소가 인체에 미치는 위해영향을 정량적으로 평가하기 위하여 동일, 옥동, 동정, 도곡 및 화천광산 주변 지역에서 광미, 토양, 농작물 및 지하수를 채취하여 화학분석을 실시하였다. 이들 폐금속광산 주변에 폐기된 광미내 비소 함량은 매우 높게 나타났으며, 이러한 광미가 바람이나 강우에 의해 광미댐 하부에 있는 농경지나 하천으로 유입되어 주변 환경을 오염시킬 가능성이 크므로 이들 토양, 농작물, 자연수 시료들에 대한 화학분석자료를 바탕으로 인체위해성평가 모델링을 실시하였다. 폐금속광산 지역에서의 인체노출경로는 농사활동을 통한 토양의 섭취, 지하수(식수)의 섭취, 쌀의 섭취, 농사활동에 의한 토양의 피부접촉, 목욕에 의한 지하수의 피부접촉 등 5가지로 파악할 수 있었다. 각 노출경로별 비발암성위해도 평가 결과, 모든 광산에서 지하수를 식수로 섭취하는 노출경로와 쌀의 섭취를 통해 비소의 독성위해도가 가장 높은 것으로 나타났다. 특히, 동일광산과 옥동광산에서는 HI지수가 7.0 이상으로, 화천광산의 경우는 5.0 이상으로 매우 높게 나타나 이들 지역 주민들의 비소의 독성위해성이 높았다. 비소에 대한 발암위해도 평가 결과, 동일광산, 옥동광산 및 화천광산 지역의 쌀 섭취의 노출경로를 통한 비소에 의해 암이 발생할 확률은 만명중의 5명에서 8명 정도로 높게 나타났다. 지하수를 식수로 섭취하는 경우, 비소의 발암위해도도 이들 광산지역에서 만명중의 1명보다 높게 나타났다. 이는 미국 EPA에서 제시한 초과발암위해도보다도 크므로 이들 지역 주민들이 비소에 의해 오염된 농작물(쌀)이나 지하수를 식수로 지속적으로 장기간 섭취하게 된다면 비소가 건강에 미치는 위해영향이 크다고 판단된다.warfarin 용량 조절에 유용할 것으로 생각된다.대한 치료 순응도가 높아졌다. 후 동율동 전환율이나 좌심방 수축능 회복에 좋은 결과를 보여주었다 그러나 향후 대상환자들에 대한 중장기적인 추적 관찰이 필요하리라 생각한다.pm1.6$일째에 관상동맥조영술을 시행하여 모든 도관의 개존율$(100\%=57/57)$을 확인하였다 수술 전 중재 술을 시행한 1개소에서는 중재술 부위의 재협착소견이 보여 수술 후 조영술시 재풍선확장술로 치료하였다. 수술 후 추적관찰(평균 $25\pm26$개월)동안 1예에서 심부전으로 사망하였다. 생존한 환자 24예에서 술 후 평균 $9.6\pm3$개월째에 관상동맥조영술을 시행하였고 이식도관이 string 징후를 보인 1예를 제외하고 모두 개존(56/57)되어 있었으며, 약물용출형 스탠트를 시행하기 이전의 12예의 중재술 중 2예에서 $50\%$ 이상의 스텐트 협착이 있었으나 흉통의 재발은 없었다. 결론: 하이브리드 관상동맥 우회 술은 수술위험도를 낮추기 위하여 최소절개 관상동맥우회술과 병합하여 시도될 수 있을 뿐 아니라, 선택적 환자들에서는 정중 흉골절개 관상동맥우회술과 병합하여 수술관련 유병률을 낮추고 심근의 완전 재관류화를 도모할 수 있었다.호도에서 가장 적절한 방법으로 사료된다.비위생 점수가 유의적으로 높은 점수를 나타내었다. 조리종사자의 위생지식 점수와 위생관리 수행수준의 상관관계를 조사한 결과, 위생지식의 기기설비위생은 위생관리 수행수준의 합계(p<0.01)에서 유의적인 상관관계(p<0.01)를 나타내었으며, 위생지식의 식중독 및 미생물은 위생관리 수행수준의 개인위생(p<0.01)과 유의적인

  • The purpose of this study is to review the labor force partitpation rate and work environment characteristics of female workers to provide basic information for establishment and implementation of effective policies related to accident prevention and workers health protection for female workers. It was analyzed employment status, work environment and injuries and illnesses based on economic activity census results, compensation of industrial injury and the second working condition survey. According to economic activity census results, female labor force participation rate has been steadily increased, whereas male labor force participation rate has been decreased since 1970. Industrial accident rate has been declined in male workers but that in female workers has been steadily increased even though male workers were higher accident rate than female workers. It was evaluated that female workers are vulnerable to industrial injuries and illnesses in the aspect of their working environment and employment status. Also, Substantial differences between female and male workers in occupational exposure patterns, occupational disease and occupational environments were observed. Therefore it was recommended that special care programs for female workers such as a specialized monitoring and management program should be introduced in the near future.

  • In this thesis the northeast Asian footwear culture are examined,. in order to search the origin It started from the cradle of ancient civilization such as Meospotamia Egypt Indus and ancient China civilization region prior to the northeast Asia. The results are: On account severe intense climates and rough road as well ancient people starts to put the shoes on. Primitive form of ancient footwear put into the two categories: Chinese in the central land begins to put the shoes named Lee. After making contact with nomadic northern races boots named Wha is adopted functionally and taken throughout China. oreans wear the shoes both boots and shoes named Lee. Japanese walked with bare feet and simul-taneously Dagetta was used for rice farming. The changes of footwear is mainly in-fluenced by the factors such as climate con-dition social economic prohibition func-tional elements and aesthetic standards. Cli-mate conditions have influence upon the footwear materials form and foot exposure, The functional elements influenced on the ways of wearing shoes.   • The purpose of this study is to analyze consumers' perceived risk which is shown in the process of purchase phase and consumption phase for the counterfeits of fashion luxury brands and to analyze the interrelationship of each type of perceived risk. The research method of the study used a qualitative approach. 6 informants were selected and then an in-depth interview was held with them. Through this process the data on the perceived risk for counterfeits were collected and analyzed. The results of the study are as follows; The perceived level of psychological risk including counterfeits exposure was extremely high; besides, economic risk and performance risk were also perceived. On the contrary, the perceived level of social risk and fashionability loss were relatively low. The risk perception for counterfeits appeared not only on the purchase phase but also on the consumption phase, and when perceived risk existed on the consumption phase, it had an influence on the level of perceived risk on the next purchase phase. However the psychological risk was continuously perceived on both purchase and consumption phase, even if it did not exist on the consumption phase. Psychological risk, economic risk and performance risk were not independent but interdependent. Moreover, the entire level of perceived risk could be controlled by reducing the level of other perceived risks when a certain type of risk was highly perceived.
