This study identified types of online retail internationalization in the fast-fashion context and proposed driving factors of retailers' choices in online-based market entry following the logic of the Uppsala model and the eclectic theory. In particular, this study proposes three types of online-based internationalization: 1) entering a host market with a physical store first, and then expanding with an online store, 2) entering a foreign market with an online store, then expanding to physical stores, and 3) entering only with an online business. In addition, this study investigated the causal factors, ownership-specific and location advantages, that influence the choice of the type of developmental process of online-based internationalization. To develop theoretical and managerial insights into the issue researched, this study employed a qualitative research design involving case studies of three European fast-fashion retailers, H&M, TOPSHOP, and ASOS. This study suggested that fast-fashion retailers that enter a host market with high ownership-specific advantages are likely to choose to enter the market with physical stores and then expand with online stores. On the other hand, when faced with uncertainties attributable to low ownership-specific or location advantages, fast-fashion retailers are likely to choose to enter with an online store first and then expand with physical stores as conditions change. Consequently, this study provides a better understanding for fast-fashion retailers who are willing to expand their businesses to foreign markets via online stores.

본 시험은 환경농업기술을 직접 농가에 파급시킬 목적으로 3년간($'96{\sim}'98$)수행하였던 연구결과를 토대로 1999년에 환경농업 시범마을인 남원시 대강면 방산리의 일반농가포장에서 수행한 결과이다. 계분 발효퇴비와 깻묵을 시용한 환경농업과 절충형농업 시험구의 벼 생육은 화학비료를 시용한 일반관행농업 시험구에 비하여 저조하였으며, 왕우렁이(Ampullarius insularus)를 이용한 잡초방제 효과는 제초제 2회(초 중기) 살포 효과보다 우수하였다. 목초액의 병해충 방제효과는 저조하였고, 또한 환경농업과 절충형농업 시험구의 정조수량은 일반관행농업 시험구에 비하여 $3{\sim}5%$ 감소 되였다. 수질은 환경농업과 절충형농업 시험구가 일반관행농업 시험구에 비하여 COD, $NO_3-N$, $SO_4^{2-}$, $Cl^-$등이 낮았으며, 물벼룩의 밀도는 높았다.

Facing a mature domestic market and the challenges of the global consumer market, retailers in Taiwan are in pursuit of international development strategies for increasing its market opportunities as one of its key growth strategies. In the global market, the Chinese market becomes Taiwan retailers' main international development milestone due to its similarity of language, culture and historical background with China. Therefore, this research uses case study method based on Eclectic paradigm (Dunning 1981) to explore the various advantages of a Taiwanese children's clothing retailer Les Enphants, which include ownership advantage, internalization advantage, and location advantage. These advantages in turn demonstrate rationales behind Les Enphants' internationalization necessity (Why to Go), selecting China as an expansion target (Where to Go), and management and operation strategies implemented in China (How to Go). Our study highlights a successful entry and expansion model of the Taiwanese children clothing retailer, and may have solid contribution to the practical application of internationalization strategy theory.

The purpose of this paper is to review a variety of challenges facing the Human Performance Technology (HPT) in supporting knowledge workers' performance, and to explore possible HPT models for knowledge workers. The first section of this paper investigates the core attributes and major models of HPT as a foundation. While HPT has a lot of strengths in terms of systemic, systematic, methodologically eclectic, evidence based, and results oriented approaches, some pitfalls - which could be detected if these principles were mindlessly applied to problem areas - are explored. The second section presents some considerations such as analysis, intervention design, and leadership that HP technologists need to take in order to make HPT a better field of practice for knowledge workers. The author also suggests a tentative diagnostic model and a process model for knowledge workers, core principles of which are based on systems thinking, in particular Senge's the fifth discipline and Checkland's soft systems methodology. The importance of formative evaluations to improve these models is noted as a conclusion.

다국적기업의 해외 연구개발 활동은 현지 국가에 최신 기술 지식 이전, 고급 일자리 창출 등의 긍정적 효과를 가져다주는 것으로 알려져 있다. 이에 각국 정부는 해외 다국적기업의 연구개발 투자를 유치하기 위한 많은 노력을 진행해 왔으며, 한국 정부 역시 관련 대책을 마련해 왔다. 그러나 국내에 진출한 외투기업의 연구개발 투자 비율은 여전히 미미하고, 이들 기업의 연구개발 투자 관련 연구 역시 부족한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 국내 외투기업의 연구개발 투자에 대한 이해를 높이기 위해, Dunning의 절충이론에 기반하여 한국 내 외국자본 국적별로 외투기업 연구개발 규모에 대한 OLI 우위의 영향성을 선형회귀모형 및 Tobit 회귀모형으로 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 한국의 산업 기술력 수준과 지분율은 국적 별 공통적으로 연구개발 규모에 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났고, 나머지 우위 요소 관련 가설은 부분 채택 되어 국내에 진출한 외투기업 별 다양성이 존재하는 것으로 분석 되었다. 즉 외투기업들은 L 우위(입지우위)가 있는 분야에서 연구개발을 수행하는데, O 우위(소유자 우위) 및 I 우위(내부화 우위) 고려 여부는 기업 및 국적별로 다르다는 것을 의미한다. 이러한 연구 결과는 해외 다국적기업의 국내 연구개발 투자 유치 및 외투기업의 연구개발 투자 확대 관련 정책을 위한 시사점을 제공할 수 있을 것이다.

In this paper, we try to define and classify the concepts of Convergent Research of Korean-Western Medicine (CRKWM) to clarify the goals of research. In addition, some suggestions that are necessary to promote the CRKWM were made. The results are as follows. First, the CRKWM should be used as a concept that refers to 'interdisciplinary research' jointly conducted by experts in both Korean and Western medicines beyond their own fields. Second, True CRKWM is an "eclectic combination of East-West" that combines the advantages of traditional Korean medicine and western medicine to create a new field; it is necessary to redefine the concept of 'Integrative medicine', which is used in different context by the traditional Korean medicine and western fields in Korea, as an "eclectic combination of East-West" type. Third, In order to promote the CRKWM, it is necessary to convert the current dual medical system of relativism to one of pluralism. Forth, In order for CRKWM to be promoted, methodologies, theories, and models that become the backbones of convergence should be developed. As of now, systems medicine and network science are the best fit. Fifthly, In order to promote convergent clinical research, the development of Korean-Western diagnostic model that integrates the pathologies of Western medicine and symptoms of Korean medicine is urgent. Lastly, Mutual understanding between Korean and Western medicine fields should be preceded in order for CRKWM to be stimulated.

As far as the recent ELT research concerned, it seems to have been no hot ‘theoretical’ issues, but ‘practical’ ones in general: e.g., learners and learning, components of proficiency, correlates of L2 learning, etc. This paper focuses on the theme given above, with a special reference to the sub-title: specifically, 1) World English, world Englishes and world's lingua franca; 2) ENL, ESL and EFL; 3) Grammars, style manuals, dictionaries and media; 4) Pronunciation models: RP, BBC model and General American, Network Standard; 5) Lexical, grammatical variations and discourse grammars; 6) Beliefs and subjective theories in foreign language research; 7) Dilemma among radical, canonical and eclectic views. In conclusion, the author offers a modest proposal: we need to appeal to our own experience, intention, feeling and purpose, that is, our identity to express “our own selves” in our contexts toward the world anywhere, if not sounding authentic enough, but producing it plausibly well. It is time for us (with our ethno-cultural autonomy) to need to be complementary to and parallel with its native speakers' linguistic-cultural authenticity in terms of the broadest mutual understanding.

Recently, many critical control systems are developed using formal methods. When software applied to such systems is developed, the employment of formal methods in the software requirements specification and verification will provide increased. assurance for such applications. Earlier error of overlooked requirement specification can be detected using formal specification method. Also the testing and full verification to examine all reachable states using model checking to undertake formal verification are able to be completed. In this paper, we propose an eclectic approach to incorporate Z(Zed) formal language and 'Statemate MAGNUM' which is formal method tools using Statechart for applying to the railway signaling systems.

공공도서관에서 전자정보 서비스를 시작된 지 10여년이 지났지만 효율적인 서비스 운영을 위한 전문성 부족과 저작권 문제의 제약으로 활용 면에서 두드러진 성과를 얻지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 국내외 협력형 전자정보 서비스 운영 사례와 경기도 및 경기도 내 31개 시군의 도서관 전자정보 서비스 현황 분석을 통해 광역자치단체 차원의 지역 내 공공도서관 간 상호 협력형 서비스 모델을 개발하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 협력형 전자정보 서비스를 운영하고 있는 국내외 기관의 웹서비스 현황을 파악하고, 설문 조사를 통해 경기도 내 시군 기관별 전자정보 서비스 현황을 조사하여 분석하였다. 연구결과, 성공적인 협력형 정보서비스 모델 구현을 위한 기능요건으로 소장 전자정보 통합검색, 웹DB, 지역 기록물 원문DB, 온라인 참고봉사, 모바일 플랫폼 지원을 제시하고 시스템 관리 체계는 참여기관의 독립적 특성을 고려하여 집중형과 분산형 모델의 장점을 결합한 절충형 모델을 제안하였다.
