아동의 행동발달 평정척도 개발에 관한 연구 (Development of a Behavior Rating Scale for Preschool Children)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop a behavior rating scale for the evaluation of children's development for utilization by preschool teachers. The procedures for the study included content validation, pilot test, and main study. A total of 97 items were retained after the content validation and pilot test. The items of the scale were grouped into five areas (physical, language, cognitive, emotional, and social development) and 11 sub-areas. The resulting "Behavior Rating Scale for Preschool Children" was administered to 479 boys and girls, 3-6 through 6-5 years of age, selected from 10 different kindergartens and early education centers in Seoul, Pusan, and Chonju. The analysis of data was done with SPSS computer programs, including item analysis, Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ for reliability, factor analysis to test construct validity, two-way ANOVA to test age and sex differences, and percentile norms. The 97 items of the scale were found to be satisfactory in terms of item discrimination with indices ranging from .31 to .73. Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ was .98 for the total scale and ranged from .87 to .93 in specific domains, which was considered satisfactory. The factors extracted from each area were consistent with the educational objectives of the Yonsei Open Education Program except for emotional development. The intercorrelations among the domains were relatively high, ranging from .56 to .81. Age differences were significant in cognitive, physical, and language development, but not significant in social and emotional development. Sex differences were significant in all areas with girls higher on the average than the boys. Percentile ranks were drived from the total score for each age group and quartiles were calculated for sub-scores in each domain.

유아의 놀이성, 정서통제, 정서불안정이 또래놀이행동에 미치는 상대적 영향 비교 (A Comparison of Effects of Playfulness, Emotional Control, Emotional Instability on Young Children's Peer Play Behavior)

  • 본 연구에서는 유아의 놀이성, 정서통제, 정서불안정이 또래놀이행동에 미치는 상대적 영향을 비교하기 위해 어린이집에 다니는 만 4세 및 5세 유아 209명을 대상으로 연구를 실시하였다. 본 연구에서는 유아의 놀이성을 측정하기 위해 '놀이성척도'를, 정서통제, 정서불안정을 측정하기 위해 '정서규제체크리스트'를, 또래놀이행동을 측정하기 위해 '또래놀이행동척도'를 사용하였다. 수집된 자료는 t-검증, 피어슨의 적률상관계수, 단계적 회귀분석을 통해 분석되었다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 연령에 따라 유아의 또래놀이행동, 놀이성, 정서통제, 정서불안정에 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 유아의 놀이상호작용은 정서통제와 놀이성에 의해 영향을 받는 것으로 나타난 반면, 유아의 놀이방해와 놀이단절은 정서불안정과 놀이성에 의해 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 연구결과에 기초하여 유아의 또래놀이행동에 영향을 미치는 정서 관련 변인의 중요성에 대해 논의한 후 향후 과제와 제언을 제시하였다.

성경험 여자 청소년의 피임실천에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Factors Affecting Contraceptive Use among Adolescent Girls in South Korea)

  • Purpose: This study was done to identify contraceptive practices in adolescent girls in South Korea and predictors of contraceptive practices. Methods: The study sample included 743 girls who had experienced sexual activity. Using statistics from the 12th (2016) Korea Youth Risk Behavior Web-based Survey, hierarchical logistic regression analysis was conducted. Results: The contraceptive practice rate for adolescent girls was 34%. Contraceptive practice was associated with 'age at first intercourse' and 'sexual intercourse after drinking'. For adolescent girls who had early sexual initiation and drank alcohol before sexual intercourse there was a tendency to reduce the practice of contraception. Conclusion: It is necessary to provide practical sex education to improve the practice of contraception in these adolescents. In addition, adolescent girls should be encourage to delay their first intercourse. The results of this study can also be used to develop education interventions regarding healthy sexuality behaviour including the practice of contraception.

CSA계 팽창재 및 수축 저감제의 혼입에 따른 UHPCC의 초기 수축 거동 평가 (Evaluating Early Age Shrinkage Behavior of Ultra High Performance Cementitious Composites (UHPCC) with CSA Expansive Admixture and Shrinkage Reducing Agent)

  • 이 연구에서는 실리카퓸 및 수축 저감제, 팽창재, 고성능 감수제의 혼입을 변수로 한 초고성능 시멘트 복합체(UHPCC)의 초기 수축 거동을 평가하기 위하여 화학수축 및 자기수축 실험을 수행하고, 응결 측정 결과와 비교하여 UHPCC의 자기건조 시작 시점에 대하여 분석하였다. 실험 결과, 실리카퓸 및 수축 저감제는 초기 화학수축을 증가시키는 경향을 보였으며, 고성능 감수제는 시멘트와 배합수의 수화 반응을 지연시키고 화학수축을 저감시키는 것으로 나타났다. 수축 저감제와 팽창재를 조합하여 적용한 경우 약 49%의 자기수축 저감 효과를 보였으며, 팽창재는 경화를 촉진 시키는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 UHPCC는 다수의 섬유 혼입과 낮은 물-결합재비에 의해 초결 이전부터 자기건조 현상이 발생하는 것으로 나타났다.

  • The autogenous shrinkage is a important phenomenon of high performance concrete since it may decrease the concrete member's durability by induce crack at early age. So the autogenous shrinkage behavior of high strength concrete was studied according to different replacement ratio of silica fume and fly ash. A linear measurement technique which was introduced by the JCI autogenous commitee was used.

도시주부의 강박적 구매행동 및 그 관련변인 (Compulsive Buying and It's Related Variables among Urban Housewives)

  • This article reports on a study designed to investigate the nature of compulsive-like buying behavior among the normal urban housewives. A previously tested compulsive buying scale was administered to a sample of 566 urban housewives. As predicted by the hypotheses, compulsive buying tendencies correlate negatively with self-esteem and life satisfaction: positively with materialism, early consumption experience, one's susceptibility to social influence, advertising of women journal, irrational credit card usage. But age, education, and family income don't explain compulsive buying tendencies. Several other findngs are reported and discussed. Areas where further research should be done are suggested.

  • The recently developed confinement-shear lattice model is reviewed. The procedure for generating aggregates in a given specimen and the constitutive model for on aggregate-cement strut are shown. It is suggested that the model can easily be extended for early age concretes and fiber reinforced concretes. The state-of-art of the extension and the general procedure of the extension are given in this paper.

경제동화를 활용한 극놀이 활동이 유아의 경제개념 및 소비자행동에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Dramatic Play Using Economic-Fairy Tales on Preschoolers' Basic-Economic Understanding and Consumer Behavior)

  • This study analyzed the effects of dramatic play using Economic-fairy tales on young children's basic- economic understanding and the consumer behavior. The participants in this study were 42 young children who attended a kindergarten in G city. The mean age of participants was 70 months. The experimental group participated in 'Dramatic play using Economic-fairy tales' while the control group participated in a 'Discussion activity using Economic-fairy tales'. The experiment used 'The Basic-Economic Concept Test' and 'The Consumer Behavior Test' in the collection of data and T-test was used to statistically analyze the data. Significant differences were found between the experimental group and comparison group in both the post-test score of Basic-Economic Understanding and of Consumer Behavior NOTE. In conclusion, the results of this study suggested that the technique of dramatic play using Economic-fairy tales which was developed in this study are probably effective in developing young children's basic-economic understanding and consumer behavior.

Long-term cognitive, executive, and behavioral outcomes of moderate and late preterm at school age

  • Background: There is increasing concern that moderate preterm (32-33 weeks' gestation) and late preterm (34-36 weeks' gestation) birth may be associated with minor neurodevelopmental problems affecting poor school performance. Purpose: We explored the cognitive function, cognitive visual function, executive function, and behavioral problems at school age in moderate to late preterm infants. Methods: Children aged 7-10 years who were born at 32+0 to 36+6 weeks of gestation and admitted to the neonatal intensive care unit from August 2006 to July 2011 at the National Health Insurance Service Ilsan Hospital were included. We excluded children with severe neurologic impairments, congenital malformations, or chromosomal abnormalities. Neuropsychological assessments consisted of 5 neuropsychological tests and 3 questionnaires. Results: A total of 37 children (mean age, 9.1±1.2 years) participated. The mean gestational age at birth was 34.6±7.5 weeks, while the mean birth weight was 2,229.2±472.8 g. The mean full-scale intelligence quotient was 92.89±11.90; 24.3% scored between 70 and 85 (borderline intelligence functioning). An abnormal score was noted for at least one of the variables on the attention deficit hyperactivity disorder diagnostic system for 65% of the children. Scores below borderline function for executive quotient and memory quotient were 32.4% and 24.3%, respectively. Borderline or clinically relevant internalizing problems were noted in 13.5% on the Child Behavior Check List. There were no significant associations between perinatal factors or socioeconomic status and cognitive, visual perception, executive function, or behavior outcomes. Conclusion: Moderate to late preterm infants are at risk of developing borderline intelligence functioning and attention problems at early school age. Cognitive and executive functions that are important for academic performance must be carefully monitored and continuously followed up in moderate to late preterm infants.

영아교사의 정서지능이 놀이교수효능감에 미치는 영향: 교사가 인식한 부모-교사 신뢰관계와 협력행동의 매개효과를 중심으로 (The Effect of Emotional Intelligence of Infant Teachers on Play Teaching Efficacy: The Mediating Effects of Trust Relationship and Cooperative Behavior Between Parents and Teachers)

  • Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate the mediating effects of the parent-teacher trust relationship and cooperative behavior in the relationship between the emotional intelligence of infant teachers and their play teaching efficacy. Methods: A total number of 216 teachers in charge of infants under the age of two at childcare centers located in H, Y, and O cities in Gyeonggi-do participated in the survey. Using SPSS 23.0 and AMOS 22, descriptive statistics, correlation and structural equation model were analyzed. Results: First, the emotional intelligence of infant teachers had a direct effect on play teaching efficacy. Second, the emotional intelligence of infant teachers influenced play teaching efficacy through parent-teacher's trust relationship. Third, the emotional intelligence of infant teachers influenced play teaching efficacy through parent-teacher cooperative behavior. Fourthly, it was found that the parent-teacher trust relationship and cooperative behavior were mediated sequentially in the influence of the emotional intelligence of infant teachers on play teaching efficacy. Conclusion/Implications: The results of this study emphasize the importance of improving the emotional intelligence of teachers and the trust and cooperation between parents and teachers in order to increase the ability of early childhood teacher's play teaching efficacy.
