The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of justice (distributive, interactional, and procedural) perception of e-service recovery in restaurant businesses on e-service recovery satisfaction, negative word of mouth, trust, and commitment. We designed a quasi-experimental study using eight different scenarios of justice application. One of the eight scenarios was distributed to each respondent to read, and the respondent then answered regarding feelings and subsequent action. Data analysis was based on 232 usable responses. The results imply that interactional justice is more important than other forms of justices in e-service recovery of restaurant businesses, indicating that restaurants must approve the service failure, make an apology to the customer, and maintain a courteous attitude at all times. In addison, the restaurant has to consider an e-service recovery program as a long-term strategy because the effect of e-service recovery in restaurant businesses grows slowly and takes time-consuming effort.

The diversity and complexity of criminal, administrative and civil cases resolved by the courts makes it difficult to develop universal automated tools for the analysis and evaluation of justice. However, big data generated in the scope of justice gives hope that this problem will be resolved as soon as possible. The big data applying makes it possible to identify typical options for resolving cases, form detailed rules for the individualization of a court decision, and correlate these rules with an abstract provisions of law. This approach allows us to somewhat overcome the contradiction between the abstract and the concrete in law, to automate the analysis of justice and to model e-justice for scientific and practical purposes. The article presents the results of using dimension reduction, SHAP value, and p-value to identify, analyze and evaluate the individualization of justice and the differentiation of legal regulation. Processing and analysis of arrays of court decisions by computational methods make it possible to identify the typical views of courts on questions of fact and questions of law. This knowledge, obtained automatically, is promising for the scientific study of justice issues, the improvement of the prescriptions of the law and the probabilistic prediction of a court decision with a known set of facts.

This study aims at developing and empirically testing a comprehensive model of organizational justice derived from the prior empirical studies on organizational justice. The study seeks to understand the antecedents to and the consequences are addressed. The first question is what characteristics of the HRM systems determine the levels of perceived distributive and procedural justice. Hypotheses are derived from the two prominent theoretical models, i.e., the self-interests model (SIM) and the group value model (GVM). Those factors include neutrality, consistency, accuracy. ethicality. credibility. and reciprocity in the processes of making HRM decisions. All nine factors suggested by the two models aye adopted for this study as major determinants of both distributive and procedural justice. The second question of this study is related to the moderating effects of individual differences on the relationship between the SIM and GVM variables and perceived distributive and procedural justice in organizational contexts. The final research question deals with the consequences of perceived organizational justice. specifically job - related altitudes and organizational commitment. Job-related attitudes in this study refer to job satisfaction, job motivation, and job involvement, i.e., the willingness to make contributions. identification with organization, and intent to stay. In examining the consequences of perceived organizational justice, the study focuses on the interaction effects of procedural and distributive justice on the above nine outcome variables. The results show that both SIM and GVM variables significantly influence distributive and procedural justice. However, hierarchical regression analyses reveal that the GVM variables except more influence has been focused on the consequences of perceived distributive justice with regard to outcomes provided by the organization.

The purpose of this research is to examine the effect of informational justice on post-recovery satisfaction, and the effect of post-recovery satisfaction on behavioral intentions in e-commerce, including further investigate the moderating effect of service failure severity. Using quantitative method, the population of this research are online customers in Indonesia, with non-probability sampling that will be done by purposive sampling method based on predetermined criterias, which are customers who were doing transactions in the Business to Consumer (B2C) online sites, experienced service failure in the last 6 months, submitted a complaint, and received a response. Sample of 317 online customers were gathered and analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling. The results of this study indicated that 5 hypothesis are supported with data. As a conclusion, informational justice and post-recovery satisfaction has positive effect, while service failure severity acts as a moderator between post-recovery satisfaction and behavioral intentions. As a managerial implication, online store management needs to ensure the informational justice to make a post-recovery satisfaction. Therefore, online store management needs to ensure the informational justice to make a post-recovery satisfaction, increase repurchase and positive e-word of mouth intention, also work harder to recover services, especially in high service failure severity condition.
Companies have attempted to build a rational and future-oriented new personnel system in order to adapt and survive in a rapidly changing environment. Recently, Samsung, LG, SK, and CJ, which are large domestic corporations, have been introducing new types of simplified personnel systems competitively. Although there are several prior studies that tried to classify these simplified personnel systems from a strategic point of view, there is a lack of empirical research in terms of the specific types from the perspective of employees. Therefore, in this study, an empirical study on the simplified personnel system which has currently been highlighted was carried out. The relationship between perceived justice (i.e., distributive justice and procedural justice) and organizational effectiveness (i.e., organizational commitment and innovative behavior) were tested. In addition, the mediating role of cognitive attitude as well as the moderating role of cognitive intensity in the simplified personnel system were investigated. The results of structural equation model using 157 survey data show that both distributive and procedural justice have a positive effect on cognitive attitude toward the simplified personnel system, which in turn leads to increased organizational commitment and innovative behavior. Interestingly, it is found that cognitive intensity intensifies the effect of distributive justice on cognitive attitude, whereas it attenuates the influence of procedural justice as expected. This study is among one of the first empirical studies focusing on the simplified personnel system and expands the concept of related variables such as perceived justice, cognitive attitude, and cognitive intensity in this context. Moreover, by clarifying the causal relationship between perceived justice and organizational effectiveness through the roles of cognitive attitude and cognitive intensity, it could provide several practical implications to managers who are interested in the introduction and early settlement of simplified personnel systems in a successful manner.
The purpose of this study is to empirically verify the relationship of how job stress and job satisfaction of information security professionals affect turnover intention, a precursor of actual turnover. The moderation effect of organizational justice is also explored within these causal relationships. This empirical analysis used 150 responses from information security professionals within 4 different industries. The analysis result from survey responses shows that job stress increases turnover intention, and job satisfaction decreases turnover intention, and that interactional justice, a subordinate concept of organizational justice, has a negative moderating effect at the relationship between job stress and turnover intention. The moderating effect of interactional justice, which can reduce turnover intention with warm words from managers or colleagues even when information security professionals who respond to emergencies such massive incidents are with high job stress, is a piece of important knowledge for information security managers. To reduce voluntary turnover of information security professionals from the organizational perspective, making efforts to lower job stress and raise job satisfaction and interactional justice is necessary.
This study was intended to examine the mediating roles of trust in CEO and supervisor on the relationships between organizational justice and employee behaviors. Data were collected from 4,055 employees across 18 different companies in Korea. Employees were asked to answer on a self-reported questionnaire. The two dimensions of organizational justice (i.e. procedural justice and distributive justice) were used. Employee behaviors were measured using counter-productive behavior and organizational citizenship behavior. Data were analyzed using a structural equation model. The hypothesized fully mediated model better fitted the data. Relative to distributive justice, procedural justice was more strongly related to both trust in CEO and trust in supervisor. But there were no significant differences in the degree of relationships between the two dimensions of trust and the two types of employee behaviors. These results showed that procedural justice is more important in enhancing trust in leader.
The purpose of this study was to explore organizational justice (distributive, procedural, and interactional justice) as the antecedent of and career satisfaction by conducting an integrative literature review. In addition, this study aimed to identify organizational support for career development (i.e., organizational sponsorship) as the potential mediating variable between organizational justice and career satisfaction. Based on an integrative literature review of previous research, this study proposed the conceptual model on the relationship between organizational justice and career satisfaction along with organizational support for career development. According to the conceptual model, organizational justice can add to the pool of important antecedents of career satisfaction, and organizational support for career development could mediate the relationship between organizational justice and career satisfaction. This study contributed to the human resource development (HRD) field through investigating the relationship between organizational justice and career satisfaction in a career development context in the workplace. Further, this study provided additional theoretical backgrounds to conduct organizational justice related research on diverse factors, such as potential mediating variables, influencing career satisfaction.
The objective of this study is to examine the relationship of organizational justice, project performance and internal and external PMO (Project Management Office) capability by conducting survey of IT project participants worked with PMO. This study was the first case which classifies PMO capability into internal and external by ownership of PMO. PLS-SEM analysis, which used for this study shows internal PMO capability connects with distributive justice and procedural justice, and directly related to project performance. By comparison, external PMO capability has relationship only with procedural justice, but never related to project performance. Furthermore, distributive justice and procedural Justice all have correlation with project performance. In general, capability of external professional consulting firms is utilized for the fairness and objectivity in spite of sufficient internal project management capability. However, the internal PMO capability has greater influence on procedural justice than external's (internal PMO capability > external PMO capability). Also, distributive justice and project performance have direct correlation only with the internal PMO capability. This paper will be an indicator of finding human capabilities which are necessary for internal and external PMO performance, and has great significance of laying a groundwork of project management strategy by PMO.
The purpose of this study was to provide a more comprehensive model which integrates a social exchange construct (i.e., organizational commitment) as a mediator to test the relationship between organizational justice and employees' bebaviors such as intent to leaving and custormer-oriented behavior. Based on the data collected from ten Chinese full-service restaurants, this study analyzed the proposed hypotheses through model comparison by using structural equation modeling (SEM) technique with AMOS 7.0. The results indicated that (1)distributive justice had negative influence on employees' turnover intention and positive influence on employees' customer oriented behavior and these influences were fully mediated by employees' affective commitment to their organizations; (2)procedural justice had negative influence on employees' turnover intention and positive influence on customer oriented behavior and these influences were only partially mediated by employees' affective commitment to their organizations. Managerial implications and future research directions were proposed at the last part of this study.
