  • In B2B e-commerce environments, many initiatives for process modeling have made efforts to design business processes correctly. Especially, Petri nets have been widely used as a good theory to design and verify process models. Therefore, we propose the process modeling method for the B2B e-commerce based on Petri nets. First of all, a B2B process model based on BPSS is represented by the UML activity diagram. Second, the activity diagram is transformed to a Petri net model. For the transformation, well-behaved building blocks/control structures and the modeling rules for inter-organizational workflow processes are proposed. Third, the process is partitioned into sharable processes for individual business partners. Finally, according to needs of individual business partners, the sharable processes are modified by well-structured refinement rules. The whole procedure is explained with the purchase process of an e-bookstore.

Six strategies that are critical on e-Port model were classified: (1) contents, (2) community, (3) commerce, (4) connection, (5) communication, (6) customization. Secondly, we chose and evaluated website of eight ports: Hongkong, Singapore, Antwerp, Hamburg, as successful e-port models. And then, we investigated actual conditions of e-Port in Pusan, Inchon, K wangwang, and Gusan. And then we try to find effective plan on the operation of e-Port.

  • Lack of trust is major reason for many company to take a cautions stance towards business-to-business electronic commerce. Especially innovative business models such as online business-to-business marketplaces face the lack of not only having to give their members and partners faith own capabilities and reliability, but also to ensure that the respective parties interacting through them have trust in each other. This paper is empirical study on the trust factors affecting the repurchase intentions in a B2B e-Marketplace by survey instrument based on Likert-style 5 point measurement scale. The objective of this paper is evaluation of relationship between repurchase intentions and trust. The focus of this paper is the antecedents and consequences of buyer trust in a B2B e-Marketplace, not trust intermediaries or in third parties that might mediate between the buyer and e-Marketplace. The findings of this study are expected to increase the awareness of B2B e-Commerce adopter and implementers about the importance of trust in e-commerce participation.

  • There have been many research papers and practical implementations on the various EC(Electronic Commerce) aspects such as merchant system, security, payment gateway, legal and policy issues. However, it is very hard to find the systematic approaches and business process models from the viewpoint of the company willing to start B2C(Business-To-Customer) EC. Therefore, we develop business process models for the planning, systems analysis and design, implementation, and operation of internet shopping mall to suggest a guideline and reference model for the realization of successful B2C EC.

  • This study addresses the management performance of the retail industry in Korea. The Non-store e-commerce business, consisting of TV home shopping and online shopping, grew very fast during the 2000s. For roughly six years in the 2010s, the diversification of online shopping business models, intensifying competition, and the proliferation of competition accelerated the entry of offline shopping retailers. During the analysis period from 2001 to 2016, the performance of the Non-store e-commerce business was statistically better than that of the offline shopping retail business, department stores, general retailers, and small-sized retailers. As expected, a significant difference between performance and some of the indicators of growth and activity could be seen because of the capital and operating structure of the retail industry. In particular, the Non-store e-commerce businesses have diverse sales media and heterogeneous business models. In this study, we have presented the significance of the differences in the indicators of operating profit and inventory turnover, as well as the discussion required for managing in the future.

This is due to the difference of culture, systems and technological basis among the countries. This study aimed to compare e-commerce system acceptance in countries with different environments and to identify the determining factors for the acceptance of e-commerce. The result shows that, in order to make e-commerce easily accepted in countries with different IT environments, factors such as trust, reputation and usefulness should be addressed more sincerely in the business strategy.

  • To enhance customer satisfaction for higher profits, an e-commerce sector can establish a continuous relationship and acquire new customers. Utilize machine-learning models to analyse their customer's behavioural evidence to produce their competitive advantage to the e-commerce platform by helping to improve overall satisfaction. These models will forecast customers who will churn and churn causes. Forecasts are used to build unique business strategies and services offers. This work is intended to develop a machine-learning model that can accurately forecast retainable customers of the entire e-commerce customer data. Developing predictive models classifying different imbalanced data effectively is a major challenge in collected data and machine learning algorithms. Build a machine learning model for solving class imbalance and forecast customers. The satisfaction accuracy is used for this research as evaluation metrics. This paper aims to enable to evaluate the use of different machine learning models utilized to forecast satisfaction. For this research paper are selected three analytical methods come from various classifications of learning. Classifier Selection, the efficiency of various classifiers like Random Forest, Logistic Regression, SVM, and Gradient Boosting Algorithm. Models have been used for a dataset of 8000 records of e-commerce websites and apps. Results indicate the best accuracy in determining satisfaction class with both gradient-boosting algorithm classifications. The results showed maximum accuracy compared to other algorithms, including Gradient Boosting Algorithm, Support Vector Machine Algorithm, Random Forest Algorithm, and logistic regression Algorithm. The best model developed for this paper to forecast satisfaction customers and accuracy achieve 88 %.
