  • The persons who realize e-Business should have capabilities of understanding in both Information Technology and business processes. It is expected that current education policies and systems could not meet needs of e-Business Human Resources in Korea, In this paper. we define and categorize HR for e-Business. Using this, we present policies for a development of e-Business human resources. after conducting intensive field survey, Also we develop a program for e-Business education. In order to develop that, we research previous studies on skills and knowledge requirements of human resources and e-Business education program.

  • Since MegaStudy started e-learning business for Korean high school students, the Korean e-learning industry began to expand and steadily gain attention. This paper focused on the analysis of the development of the Korean e-learning business for teens and the growth of MegaStudy. The three institutional mechanisms were used to examine the factors that aided the development of the business. The regulatory mechanism was the government policy to prevent the expansion of the offline private education sector, which greatly aided the growth of the e-learning business. The mimetic mechanism was the notion to mimic the characteristics of the Korean e-business initiatives. The normative mechanism involved the widespread social norm suggesting that every student should be given an equal opportunity of private education. This paper also examined the case of MegaStudy as a successful case of the e-learning companies. It analyzed the business model of MegaStudy, which is based on its advantage as the front-runner and its high-quality contents and services.

  • The Internet is changing old organizational schemes, including education. A growing number of universities are creating curriculums to reflect these changes. Economic market is being opened to the international world, and in order to overcome the difficulties are demanding continuous supply of men power from university to efficiently manage human resource and implement superior e-business model. Technology innovation plays an important role in the sustainable grows of the firm in the global economy. The objective of this study is to suggest an e-business curriculum for e-business department. We will analyze what kind of people is needed for e-business, and provide appropriate curriculum for educating suitable human resources, which could be for university program. This study may contribute to the much needed systematic analysis for e-business curriculum. We prioritize e-business curriculum selected and rank their importance through an exploratory study for suggesting the undergraduate curriculum.

  • Electronic commerce (e-commerce) has seen as the potential to improve profitability and productivity in many areas as well as gaining notable attention in many countries. Despite, there has been some uncertainty about the e-commerce impacts for developing countries. The sufficient basic infrastructural deficiency, socio-political, economic and the lack of government public ICT policies have formed the significant barriers to the adoption and e-commerce growth in developing countries. Even though there are many researchers have found the common barriers to e-commerce in the developing nations, all business models targeting those countries are not equally successful. Small companies' persistence failed to challenge the e-commerce barriers in Cambodia because the firms didn't know the correct business model to succeed in this country online market. Therefore, this study will discuss the existing barriers which lead to limit e-commerce growth in Cambodia and the suggested solutions with the suitable business model for the e-commerce business in the country too.

  • The recent development of IT, consolidation of communications and multimedia technology have brought enormous changes in many organizations. These changes are enabling the new educational environments such as distance learning and virtual education. Particularly e-Learning has grown rapidly in business training fields. In this regard, the primary purpose of this study is to investigate which factors of e-Learning influence education and training in business organizations through an empirical survey. The results show that most of hypotheses get significant support. Implications of these findings are discussed for researchers and practitioners.

In this paper, we define and categorize human resources for e-Business as to application areas and expertise levels. An intensive field survey has been conducted. Based on the survey results, several strategic and practical alternatives are suggested for development of e-Business human resources in Korea.
