e-R&D means conducting research and development with network or computer software in cyber space. Given the rapid technology paradigm shift and diversified customer needs, companies face the problem of new product and service innovation. This paper introduces the strategic view for e-R&D status, case examples, and e-R&D service. We state e-R&D adoption stages for strengthening the industry competitiveness and IT service utilization.

Antioxidants have been used in cosmetic industry for treatment of aged skin and recently have been also introduced as additives in photoprotection products. In order to determine among the Brazilian botanical species presenting interesting antioxidant activities we have screened several extracts from plants from Rain and Amazonical Tropical Forests, as well as some endemic species, using both TBARs and DPPH methods. Extracts with antioxidant activities were found with Jacaranda caroba, Veloso DL, Spilanthes oleracea (Spilanthes acmella var. oleracea), Orbignya phalerata, Pothomorphe umbellata, Chiococca brachiata and Polypodium lepidopteris. Other extracts such as Camelia sinensis, Sambucus australis, Rosmarinus officinalis L. were also studied, and showed some antioxidant activity.

Des Facteurs de $D\'{e}contamination$ (F. D) en Cesium 137 et Strontium 90 et la $dur\'{e}e$ du cycle $d'{\'{e}}puration$ ont $d\^{u}$ $\^{e}tre$ bien meilleurs avec une colonne de 10 ml de $r\'{e}sine$ Carborylique Duolite $CC_4$ mise sous forme acide, suivie d'une colonne de 10 ml de $r\'{e}sine$ cationique Amberlite IR 120 mise sous forme acide et suivie d'une colonne de 10 ml de $r\'{e}sine$ anionique Amberlite IRA 400 mise sous forme hydroxyde.

최근 잉크젯, 스크린, 그라비아 등 기존의 인쇄 방식과 인쇄 기술을 이용하여 저가의 전자회로 혹은 전자 소자를 제조하고자 프린팅 소재 및 공정 개발에 대한 산업계의 관심이 증가하고 있다. 특히 PCB, RFID, 디스플레이, 태양전지 분야의 전극재료의 개발에 많은 연구가 진행 중에 있으며, 다양한 인쇄 방법 중 미세회로의 구현이 가능한 잉크젯 프린팅을 통한 전극 형성방법에 주목하고 있다. 본 연구는 잉크젯 프린팅 방식을 통해 배선을 형성하고자 이에 적합한 다양한 농도의 잉크를 배합하여 평가하였으며, 첨가제 및 소결, 건조 조건의 변화를 통해 기재와의 부착력, 배선의 크랙을 조절하였다.

For the identification of the Jeju black cattle, Hanwoo and imported beef, we performed a multiplex polymerase chain reaction (PCR) associated with microsatellite (MS) and melanocortin 1 receptor (MC1R) gene. The MC1R gene plays an important role in regulation of the melanin synthesis within mammalian melanocytes. MC1R encoded by extension (E) locus was almost fixed with recessive red e allele in the Hanwoo. We estimated that the specific genotypes ($E^+/E^+$, $E^+/e$) of MC1R gene were characteristic genotypes of Jeju black cattle. But the PCR products resulted from using the MC1R gene derived primers only are not sufficient to identify Jeju black cattle from other relatives. We performed two times of successive multiplex PCR to provide a more accurate result for the identification of Jeju black cattle. The results suggest that two types of successive multiplex PCR methods using MC1R gene and Microsatellite derived primer set will be more useful to identification of Jeju black cattle, Hanwoo and imported beef.

For a subset $E{\subseteq}\mathbb{R}^d$ and $x{\in}\mathbb{R}^d$, the local Hausdorff dimension function of E at x and the local packing dimension function of E at x are defined by $$dim_{H,loc}(x,E)=\lim_{r{\searrow}0}dim_H(E{\cap}B(x,r))$$, $$dim_{P,loc}(x,E)=\lim_{r{\searrow}0}dim_P(E{\cap}B(x,r))$$, where $dim_H$ and $dim_P$ denote the Hausdorff dimension and the packing dimension, respectively. In this note we give a short and simple proof showing that for any pair of continuous functions $f,g:\mathbb{R}^d{\rightarrow}[0,d]$ with $f{\leq}g$, it is possible to choose a set E that simultaneously has f as its local Hausdorff dimension function and g as its local packing dimension function.

A new oxygenated monoterpene (4) was isolated from the methanol extract of the aerial part of Erechtites hieracifolia together with six known components, a dimethylheptane (1), three ionone derivatives (2, 3 and 7) and two phenylpropanoids (5 and 6). Their structures were identified by means of physico-chemical and spectral data to be (2E, 5E)-6-hydroxy-2,6-dimethylhepta-2,4-dienal (1), 3(R)-hydroxy-5,6-epoxy-$\beta$-ionone (2), 3(R)-hydroxy-5,6-epoxy-7-ionol (3), (3E, 6E)-3,7-dimethylocta-3,5-dien-1,2,7-triol(4), 2-hydroxy-4-(2-propenyl)phenyl-$\beta$-D-glucopyranoside (5), 2-methoxy-4-(2-propenyl)phenyl -$\beta$-D-glucopyra-noside (6) and (6R, 9R)-3-oxo-$\beta$-ionol-$\alpha$-D -glucopyranoside (7).

본 논문은 피에조방식으로 구동하는 MEMS 구조의 산업용 잉크젯 헤드를 제작하여 잉크를 충진하여 토출하는 과정에서 토출이 되지 않는 원인 중 하나인 기포에 대해서 연구하였다. 기포를 직접 관찰하기 위한 방법으로 투명한 유리로 Membrane을 제작하여 기포가 발생하여 거동하는 모습을 관찰하였으며 Actuator가 구동하는 헤드내 기포를 구동 중에 관찰하기 위한 방법으로 LDV(Laser Doffler Vibrometer)를 이용하였다. 그 결과, 구동하면서 발생하는 변위의 미세한 차이를 관찰할 수 있었으며 주파수 data의 차이를 관찰함으로써 기포의 크기에 따른 토출의 양태를 구별할 수 있었다.

PCR-RFLP analysis was carried out to investigate the genotype of Melanocortin receptor 1 (MC1R) gene in Korean Brindle Cattle and Korean Cattle with dark muzzle, which are coat color and muzzle pigmentation variants of Korean Cattle, respectively. Allelic variants of MC1R in cattle were analyzed by digestion with BsrFⅠ, AciⅠ. Among six genotypes, $E^D/E^D,\;E^D/E^+,\;E^D/e,\;E^+/E^+,\;E^+$/e and e/e, detected in cattle, only two genotypes, $E^+/E^+\;and\;E^+$/e, were observed in Korean Brindle Cattle, probably reflecting the necessary of $E^+$ allele for the expression of black brindle coat color. As in Korean Cattle with light muzzle, the $E^+$/e and e/e genotypes were detected in Korean Cattle with dark muzzle. The $E^+$ and e alleles frequencies in two populations of Korean Cattle with dark muzzle and with light muzzle were 0.37, 0.63 and 0,11, 0.89, respectively. Although the frequency of $E^+$ allele in Korean Cattle with dark muzzle was higher than in Korean Cattle with light muzzle, the $E^+$ allele was not completely associated with dark muzzle pigmentation. The results of this experiment indicate that the difference of MC1R genotype and frequency may be useful for fixation of coat color in Korean Cattle as well as Korean Brindle Cattle.
