대학 교수자의 수업전문성 향상을 목적으로 하는 e-티칭 포트폴리오의 구성요소 탐색 (An Exploration on Elements of e-Teaching Portfolio for Enhancing Teaching Expertise in Higher Education)

  • This study has explored the elements of e-teaching portfolio for enhancing teaching expertise in higher education. This study is carried out through the literature review and expert's focus group interview. As the result of this study, seven elements of e-teaching portfolio for enhancing teaching expertise in higher education have been found. First, 'personal background' include curriculum vitae, course responsibility, and other educational activities. Second, 'teaching philosophy' include the principals on teaching and learning, statements of teaching philosophy. Third, 'learning environment' include the characteristics of students, the previous learning contents, and physical environment. Forth, 'course contents and methods' include teaching strategies and instructional materials, Fifth, 'instructional evaluation' includes the principals of evaluation and the examples of learning outcomes. Sixth, 'endeavor for improvement of instruction' include evidence of activity for teaching improvement and instruction feedback from peer and students. And e-teaching portfolio also includes research career and awards history element.

  • uEFL is an open source solution to integrate general business/learning activities and processes. uEFL is originally developed to adopt LD (Learning Design) specification, which represents learning as various combination of learning activities with learning conditions and outcomes. Learning activities are described with participant's role, learning environment, and contextual sequence. This viewpoint resembles BPM (Business Process Modeling). uEFL can convert LD to BPM description. uEFL engine can run converted LD activity with other business activities. This paper presents 4 templates and 2 sample models for uEFL. The templates and models will show how learning activities can be integrated with business activities efficiently.

건뇌음이 해마손상백서의 기억 및 학습기능 회복에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Geonne-Eum on Learning and Memory Function in Model Rat Injured by Ibotenate)

  • In order to make the efficient prescription and cope with various senile dementia, learning and memory functions of Sprague-Dawley model rats were tested with Morris water maze at first. And to evaluate the effects of the sample drug(GM) on choline acetyltranferase and acetylcholine esterase, immunoreactive measurement and enzymatic activity measuring were carried out. Rats were injected with ibotenic acid through hippocampus CA1 and CA3 area. The results are as following. GM improves the learning ability in tile acquisition test and memory function in the retention test significantly. And GM increases the level of ChAT which is synthesizing acetylcholine in CA3 area, and at the same time it increases the level of AChE which is resolving acetylcholine. These results show that GM improve the cholinergic catabolism and anabolism, and the increment of metabolic activity of cholinergic system contributes to the recovery of damaged learning and memory function by ibotenic acid. So it can be concluded that GM will be helpful to cholinergic brain disease induced by primary or senile reduction of acetylcholine secretive activity.

  • 가상 환경에서의 학습 시스템은 기존 E-Learning 시스템에서 부족했던 몰입감을 주고 사용자의 흥미 유발을 촉진할 수 있고 위험하거나 비용이 많이 드는 교육 컨텐츠를 제공할 수 있다. 본 논문에서 학습 유형을 실시간 강의, 상시 학습, 실습 교육, 그리고 스터디 그룹 활동으로 구분하였다. 혼합 현실을 제공하는 가상 세계인 Second Life를 이용하여 이들 학습 유형을 지원하는 온라인 강의 시스템을 구축하였다. 구축된 온라인 강의 시스템을 운영함으로써 가상 학습 환경을 제공하였다.

  • 세계 각 국은 현재 스마트 열풍 속에 4차 산업혁명 시대로 변화하고 있다. 교육 또한 e-러닝의 지속적인 성장 발전을 통해 유비쿼터스 환경에 적합한 학습형태인 모바일 기반의 스마트러닝으로 진화하고 있다. 본 연구는 e-Learning 성공요인으로 가장 주목받고 있는 학습자의 동기요인에 관하여 Keller의 ARCS모델에 근거하여 학습자의 스마트러닝 학습성과와 관련된 요인들 간의 관계를 분석하였다. 학습자의 학습 동기 전략 요소가 학습성과에 영향을 미치는 과정 중에 특히 학습자에 대한 여러 동기부여 전략이 학습몰입이라는 매개변수의 조절효과를 거쳐 학습성과에 미치는 영향을 연구 구조모형을 통해 확인해 보았다.

Effects of Erythropoietin on Memory Deficits and Brain Oxidative Stress in the Mouse Models of Dementia

  • The present study was undertaken to explore the potential of erythropoietin in memory deficits of mice. Memory impairment was produced by scopolamine (0.5 mg/kg, $i.p.$) and intracerebroventricular streptozotocin (i.c.v STZ, 3 mg/kg, $10{\mu}l$, $1^{st}$ and $3^{rd}$ day) in separate groups of animals. Morris water-maze test was employed to assess learning and memory. The levels of brain thio-barbituric acid reactive species (TBARS) and reduced glutathione (GSH) were estimated to assess degree of oxidative stress. Brain acetylcholinesterase enzyme (AChE) activity was also measured. Scopolamine/streptozotocin administration induced significant impairment of learning and memory in mice as indicated by marked decrease in Morris water-maze performance. Scopolamine/streptozotocin administration also produced a significant enhancement of brain AChE activity and brain oxidative stress (an increase in TBARS and a decrease in GSH) levels. Treatment of erythropoietin (500 and 1,000 IU/Kg i.p.) significantly reversed scopolamine- as well as streptozotocin-induced learning and memory deficits along with attenuation of those-induced rise in brain AChE activity and brain oxidative stress levels. It may be concluded that erythropoietin exerts a beneficial effect in memory deficits of mice possibly through its multiple actions including potential anti-oxidative effect.

  • 오픈 소스 LMS인 Moodle은 다양한 형태의 모듈로 구성되어 다양한 형태의 학습 자료와 학습활동을 수행할 수 있는 CMS(Course Management System)이다. 또한 웹 상에 Moodle를 이용하면 교수-학습 활동이 강화된 효과적인 강좌를 구성할 수 있다. Moodle은 다양한 학습 자원들과 학습 활동을 제공해 주고 있기 때문에 교수자가 원하는 다양한 학습 체제를 교수-학습 설계에 반영할 수 있다. 또한 교사와 학생 간의 학습 자료의 공유와 참여를 통한 양방향 시스템으로 학습 체제를 쉽게 구축하고 활용할 수 있는 방법과 기회도 제공해 주고 있다. 이러한 양방향 시스템의 이러닝 강좌를 설계하는데 있어서 Moodle은 무료이면서도 강력한 기능을 제공해 준다. 본 논문에서는 서울교육대학교 1학기 "정보과학의 이해와 응용" 교과목을 Moodle을 활용하여 설계하고 운영한 사례를 분석하고 Moodle의 향후 확대 방안을 찾아 보고자 하였다.

Effects of Takju intake and moderate exercise training on brain acetylcholinesterase activity and learning ability in rats

  • Takju is a Korean alcoholic beverage made from rice, and is brewed with the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae. This study was conducted to evaluate the effects of exercise training and moderate Takju consumption on learning ability in 6-week old Sprague-Dawley male rats. The rats were treated with exercise and alcohol for 4 weeks in six separate groups as follows: non-exercised control (CC), exercised control (EC), non-exercised consuming ethanol (CA), exercised consuming ethanol (EA), non-exercised consuming Takju (CT), and exercised consuming Takju (ET). An AIN-93M diet was provided ad libitum. Exercise training was performed at a speed of 10 m/min for 15 minutes per day. Ethanol and Takju were administered daily for 6-7 hours to achieve an intake of about 10 ml after 12 hours of deprivation, and, thereafter, the animals were allowed free access to deionized water. A Y-shaped water maze was used from the third week to understand the effects of exercise and alcohol consumption on learning and memory. After sacrifice, brain acetylcholinesterase (AChE) activity was analyzed. Total caloric intake and body weight changes during the experiment were not significantly different among the groups. AChE activity was not significantly different among the groups. The number of errors for position reversal training in the maze was significantly smaller in the EA group than that in the CA and ET groups, and latency times were shorter in the EA group than those in the CC, EC, CT, and ET groups. The latency difference from the first to the fifth day was shortest in the ET group. The exercised groups showed more errors and latency than those of the non-exercised groups on the first day, but the data became equivalent from the second day. The results indicate that moderate exercise can increase memory and learning and that the combination of exercise and Takju ingestion may enhance learning ability.

예비교사의 이러닝 인식 및 사용 교수·학습 전략 실태 분석 (Analysis on the Current status of e-Learning among Pre-Service Teachers)

  • 예비교사들의 이러닝 학습 경험은 이들이 졸업 후 이러닝을 학교 현장에 도입하는데 지대한 영향을 미치게 되므로 예비교사들의 이러닝 학습 실태를 파악하는 것은 중요하다. 이러닝의 특수 형태인 사이버 학습의 경험이 있는 전국의 예비 교사들(401명)을 대상으로 2001년도 5월과 6월에 이러닝에 관한 참여 실태를 조사 분석하였다. 설문 조사는 사이버교육 관련 일반 경험(학습 시간, 과제 및 평가, 만족도 및 학습 효과, 불편 사항, 개선 사항)과 사이버교육 관련 교수 학습 방법(교수 학습 활동, 상호작용 빈도, 상호작용 촉진을 위한 학습 전략 사회적 관계 형성, 협동학습 활동, 그룹별 학습 활동, 지식 구축과 관련된 교수학습 활동)으로 나누어 이루어졌다. 실태분석 결과, 예비교사들은 사이버 수업에 대해 전통적인 학습과 비슷하거나 다소 낮게 만족하고 느끼고 있으며, 학습 효과도 거의 비슷하거나 다소 낮게 느낀다. 특이하게 여학생이 남학생에 비해 더 부정적이었다. 학습 내용의 논리적인 제시와 사이버 상에 맞는 학습 방법의 제시를 가장 큰 개선 사항으로 보았다. 이 메일과 자료실은 학생들이 가장 많이 사용하는 이러닝 환경의 기능이었다. 온라인상에서의 과제의 성격이나 양에 학생들은 만족하고 있으나, 협동학습 방법으로 많이 사용되는 온라인에서의 그룹 활동을 통해서는 자유로운 상호작용이 잘 안되고, 협동학습을 통해 많이 배웠다고 보지 않는다. 협동 학습을 하는 동안 학생들은 자신의 활동은 긍정적으로 보았으나, 다른 학습자의 참여는 부정적으로 보는 경향이 있다. 학생들은 주 1회의 상호작용을 가끔이라고 느끼고 있어 교수들의 부담감을 줄이고 상호작용을 높이는 기술적 지원을 제공해야 한다. 오프라인 미팅을 적극 권장하고 여러 가지 형태로 사회적 소속감을 느끼게 해 주어야 한다.

기업교육을 위한 인터넷 원격훈련 학습과정 모니터링 연구 (Learning Process Monitoring of e-Learning for Corporate Education)

  • Purpose - The purpose of this study is to conduct a monitoring study on the learning process of e-learning contents. This study has two research objectives. First, by conducting monitoring research on the learning process, we aim to explore the implications for content development that reflects future student needs. Second, we want to collect empirical basic data on the estimation of appropriate amount of learning. Research design, data, and methodology - This study is a case study of learner's learning process in e-learning. After completion of the study, an in-depth interview was made after conducting a test to measure the total amount of cognitive load and the level of engagement that occurred during the learning process. The tool used to measure cognitive load is NASA-TLX, a subjective cognitive load measurement method. In the monitoring process, we observe external phenomena such as page movement and mouse movement path, and identify cognitive activities such as Think-Aloud technique. Results - In the total of three research subjects, the two courses showed excess learning time compared to the learning time, and one course showed less learning time than the learning time. This gives the following implications for content development. First, it is necessary to consider the importance of selecting the target and contents level according to the level of the subject. Second, it is necessary to design the learner participation activity that meets the learning goal level and to calculate the appropriate time accordingly. Third, it is necessary to design appropriate learning support strategy according to the learning task. This should be considered in designing lessons. Fourth, it is necessary to revitalize contents design centered on learning activities such as simulation. Conclusions - The implications of the examination system are as follows. First, it can be confirmed that there is difficulty in calculating the amount of learning centered on learning time and securing objective objectivity. Second, it can be seen that there are various variables affecting the actual learning time in addition to the content amount. Third, there is a need for reviewing the system of examination of learning amount centered on 'learning time'.
