본 논문에서는 SCORM을 기반으로 한 e-Learning 시스템에서 학습자의 학습 활동을 트래킹하여 학습자의 수준을 적응적으로 판단하는 기법을 제시하였다. 제시된 기법에서는 모집단의 크기가 작을 경우 교수자가 지정한 난이도를 이용하여 학습자의 수준을 판단하고, 모집단의 크기가 충분히 클 경우에는 문항반응이론을 적응한 난이도에 의해 학습자의 수준을 판단하였다. 문항반옹이론을 적용할 시점에서 교수자가 지정한 난이도가 문항반응이론에서 추정한 난이도와 차이가 날 경우, 교수자가 지정한 난이도를 문항반응이론의 난이도로 수정하는 적응적인 기법을 제시하였다. SCORM의 트래킹 기능을 이용하여 실험한 결과 문제를 푼 학습자의 수가 적을 경우에는 학습자 수의 변화에 따라 학습자의 수준이 계속 바뀌는 문제점이 있음을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 모집단의 크기가 작을 경우, 본 논문에서 제안한 방법에 의해 교수자가 지정한 문항의 난이도를 이용하여 학습자의 수준을 판단하는 것이 효과적이었다.

본 연구는 서로 다른 문화간에 e-Learning과 같은 학습 시스템을 제공할 때, 학습 제공자의 문화적 차이에 의한 비언어적 행동이 학습자에게 미치는 영향에 대해 다루고 있다. 지금까지 사회언어학적인 관점에서 서로 다른 문화간의 언어행동에 관한 연구는 있었지만 비디오 학습이나 웹과 같이 원거리에서 이루어지는 학습 지원 시스템에서의 언어행동에 관한 연구는 없었다. 본 연구에서는 행동언어학적인 관점에서 이루어진 연구를 바탕으로, 한국인과 일본인을 대상으로 하여 실제 강의가 이루어지는 동안 언어행동의 문화적 차이가 미치는 영향과 그 결과를 검증했다.

e-Portfolio is a useful tool that enhances students' learning competency. This paper introduces 'K-folio' which is an e-Portfolio system. K-folio is currently being implemented throughout campus. K-folio is designed to apply the theoretical framework for college level e-Portfolio. We chose RAD(Rapid Application Development) as our development method which we designed to gradually improve system's capability and usability by reflecting and implementing the suggestions of students and instructors. This paper has the following contributions: first, it proposes the e-Portfolio implementation model that is more applicable to the college environment. second, the study identifies RAD as the most suitable method for e-Portfolio development. third, it mentions important technical implications regarding the development and operation for their e-Portfolio.

The increase of social interest for the e-Learning industry leads to the increase of e-learning contents and the system providers which are targeted at private education companies and public institutions. As the e-Learning is used in various areas, the evaluation for evaluation criteria and suitability are needed to provide a high-quality service and reliability. Previous works suggested the evaluation criteria for quality certification, however, the technical evaluation criteria are not provided. In this paper, we suggest the technical evaluation criteria for quality certification of e-Learning contents and describe the detailed features. Through the proposed work, we can establish the technical evaluation criteria and suggest detailed evaluation items for them by providing examples. It is expected that the proposed study is able to be utilized in e-Learning industry, if the policy is reflected and notified according to the feedback of the results of the trial service.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop and evaluate an e-Learning Program designed to enhance novice nurses's performance ability Method: The e-Learning program was designed for novice nurses before beginning to work in a hospital using a KMS(Knowledge Management System). This study was carried out from February 2006 to April 2007. The program had progressive steps including design, pilot test & modification, contents development, program application and evaluation. After the program design and pilot testing, the learner's satisfaction was analyzed. Result: The program site is http://kms.emc.ac.kr titled, 'Cyber Education Center'. The sixteen part course has been developed as follows: blood sugar test, skin test, insulin test 1, insulin test 2, blood culture, blood sampling, heat therapy, cold therapy, glycerin enema, preparation of operation, oxygen therapy, suction technique, transfusion, foley catheterization and aseptic technique. The overall learner's satisfaction score was 4.08 out of 5 points. Conclusion: E-Learning could be useful for education and nursing work. This method may be effective for clinical nurses.

The subject of basic fluid power practice which is used in various industries requiring factory automation aims at understanding of the composition and operating principles of pneumatic components and programming of electric sequential circuits, building the design ability of pneumatic system. This subject goes by 3 hour classes with theory and practice side by side. So it is not enough time to instruct students various contents related in this subject. In this research a supplementary learing using E-learning is proposed as a solution for this problem. The off-line classes of this subject went with E-learning side by side and analyzed the effects of E-learning as a supplementary learning through the students survey who attended the class. And further needed research is presented.

We investigated the e-learning platforms for higher education in developing countries. First, we introduced e-learning environmental factors such as ICT technology as well as ASEAN Cyber University (ACU) project for developing countries. And then, we presented Cambodian case as an example of e-learning platform for developing countries. We analyzed the national education policy and ICT environment as well as the demands and obstacles of e-learning in Cambodia. We derived e-learning strategies and plans based on the analysis results, and finally proposed e-learning platform C-MOOC Net. In order to verify the proposed scheme, we developed prototype of C-MOOC Net system which is implemented based on open software. As a result, we have met the requirement of networking the C-MOOC hub, supporting localization of local language and personalization of favorite courses respectively.

One of the major issues in the field of corporate training and formal education is the support of personalized learning. Successful personalized learning needs the availability of the relevant learning contents at just-in-time for learners each. The competency is one of personal characteristics. So competency-based learning is one of the methods that fulfill the above need. Successful competency-based learning needs the method that recommends the relevant contents for the user's deficient competency based on the user's current competency and objectives. We assume that there exists a student information system that provides each user's competences and objectives as fields of a LIP/ePortfolio-compliant student information. This paper proposes an ontology-based system that, given the user's competences and objectives from the above student informaton system, recommends the relevant contents among a large number of educational contents using competency ontology and domain ontology. The advantage of this system can easily handle the change of competency map and terms related with competences in student information and education contents.

For an e-learning class, many voice and video technics for enhancing student teacher interaction. But for programming exercise courses, it's very difficult to add interactive components via web browser. In this paper, we make an online algorithm bank to manage and search algorithms, build an programming exercise interface on web. Students can edit, compile and execute programs included in online algorithm bank. Online program compile and execution enhance e-learning effectiveness for programming courses, and make students feel ease for computer algorithms.

The educational exchange through e-learning is working very well in such case as develop e-learning, development of various learning tools, cooperative practical use of e-learning contents, etc. However because there were no considerations of LMS(Learning Management System) interconnection when each systems were developed, the exchange through e-learning is starting to raise a problem. Especially the exchange through e-learning between university produced problem for a variety of reasons by absence of direct exchange in every case such as communication of students information, communication of lecture information, etc. Hence in this thesis, I will present designed model about efficient LMS interconnection through analysis case of exchange through e-learning and deduce problem. In the first place I define essential part for study such as lecture establishment data, lecture data, user data, class data, student learning tracking to interconnection data, then constituted data interconnection table used view by data interconnection prcess. By experiment result, the accessibility between students and professors was more convenience, and decreased work process by less data exchange. Henceforth there are researches in development of various essential parts for study, considered security of LMS interconnection.
