  • Let E be a real Banach space. Let T : E longrightarrow E be a map with F(T) : = { x $\in$ E : Tx = x} $\neq$ 0 and satisfying the accretive-type condition $\lambda\$\mid$x-Tx\$\mid$^2$, for all $x\inE,\;x^*\inf(T)\;and\;\lambda >0$. We prove some necessary and sufficient conditions for the convergence of the Mann iterative sequence to a fixed point of T.

A CEPHALOMETRIC COMPARATIVE STUDY ON SOFT TISSUE PROFILE BETWEEN NORMAL OCCLUSION AND MALOCCLUSION IN KOREAN ADULTS (한국성인 정상교합자와 부정교합자의 연조직 측모에 관한 두부방사선 계측학적 비교연구)

  • The purpose of this artic1e is to compare soft tissue profiles between Korean adults with normal occ1usion and malocclusin and to identify the differences between them. The subjects of this cephalometric study were 40 males with normal occlusion(Group 1), 27 females with normal occlusion(Group 2), 28 adults with Angle's Class II malocclusion(Group 3) and 41 adults with Angle's Class III malocclusion(Group 4). The results of this study were as follows ; 1) People with Angle's Class II malocclusion had tendency to have more labial tipping of lower teeth than people with normal occ1usion. Through NOA angle measurement, it was determined that people with Angle's Class II malocclusion had more protruding midface than people with normal occlusion and people with Angle's Class III malocclusion had retruding midface. 2) Through Powell's esthetic triangle analysis, it was determined that people with Angle's Class II malocclusion had retruding chin and protruding nose. 3) No significant differences between people with normal occlusion and maloclusion could be identified by measuring soft tissue profile angle basis of S-NS plane. 4) There were significant differences between groups with normal occlusion and malocclusion by measuring Facial convexity angle(Significance level 99%). 5) By measuring the distance between each landmark basis of N-Pog plane, People with Angle's Class II malocclusion were identified as having more protruding midface, but there were no significant differences between people with normal occlusion and Angle's Class III malocclusion. 6) By measuring the vertical dimension of the face, it was determined that the lower facial height was higher than the upper facial height in all groups, particularly in group with Angle's Class III malocclusion. 7) By measuring the lips basis of E-line and S-line, it was determined that people with Angle's Class III malocclusion had more, protruding lower lips than people with normal occlusion, while people with normal occlusion, while people with Angle's Class II malocclusion had more protruding upper lips. By measuring the distance between the superior sulcus and inferior sulcus basis of H-line, people with Angle's Class II malocclusion had thicker upper lips than the other's.

Development of the Convergent Education Service with the Application Type of the Textbook Development Tool and Class Management System (애플리케이션형 텍스트북 제작툴과 수업관리시스템의 융합형 교육서비스 개발방안)

  • It is the concept of this paper to build up the convergence type of the total class service system, and the goal is to develop the education services, which are differentiated from existing digital textbooks and development tools. We establish developmental programs and convergence strategies from market analyses related to apps and digital education. Then this paper proposes 'E-Class Author Service System (ECA)' as an education service system based on the tablet PC. It is the convergence system of the app type of textbook development tool and class management system. Teachers can produce and develop class materials and textbooks using the app type of textbook development tool in ECA service system. They can also add necessary functions from the class management system for efficient class progress. ECA improves the interaction and communication between a teacher, student and parents in the sever-based network. This study expects that ECA will achieve prior occupation of the app market as an educational app development tool and reduce private education expenses.

Design of 20 W Class-E Amplifier Including Protection for Wireless Power Transmission at ISM 13.56 MHz (보호 회로를 포함한 무선 전력 전송용 ISM 13.56 MHz 20 W Class-E 앰프 설계)

  • In this paper, an inductive clamping class-E power amplifier has been tested for wireless power transmission at ISM band, 13.56 MHz. The implemented power amplifier is designed to operate stably without destroying power transistor in wireless power transmission system which basically keeps not to align between a transmitting antenna and a receiving antenna. The power amplifier is also designed to enhance harmonic filtering characteristic. The amplifier was tested with a DC supply voltage of 28 V and input power of 25 dBm at 13.56 MHz. The test results show the output power level of 43 dBm, the difference power level between fundamental frequency and second harmonic frequency of more than 55 dBc, the dc current consumption of 830 mA, and the high power-added efficiency of 85 %. Finally, the implemented power amplifier operated normally with 830 mA DC current consumption from 28 V source when the two antennas were aligned, and the power transmission was successful. But when the two antennas were not aligned, its DC current consumption automatically decreased down to 420 mA to protect the switching transistor.

Effects of DEM Resolutions in Site Classification (DEM 해상도가 지반분류에 미치는 영향)

  • Site conditions affect the magnitude of loss due to geologic hazards including, but not limited to, earthquakes, landslides and liquefaction. Reliable geologic loss estimation system requires site information which can be achieved by GIS-based method using geologic or topographic maps. Slope data derived from DEM can be an effective indicator for classifying the site conditions. We studied and discussed the effect of different DEM resolutions in the site classification. We limited the study area to the south-eastern Korea and used two different resolutions of DEMs to observe discrepancies in the site classification results. Largest discrepancy is observed in the areal coverage of site class C(very dense soil and soft rock) and E(soft soil). Comparison of results shows that more areas are classified as site class B(general rock) or E(soft soil) when we use higher resolution DEM. The comparison also shows that more areas are classified as site class C or D(stiff soil) using lower resolution DEM. The comparison of results using resampled DEMs with different resolutions shows that the areal coverage of site class B and E decreases with decreasing resolutions. On the contrary, areal coverage of site class C and D increase with decreasing resolutions. Loss estimation system can take advantage of higher-resolution DEMs in the area of rugged or populated to obtain precise local site information.

Dehydration Reaction of Fructose to 5-Hydroxymethylfurfural over Various Keggin-type Heteropolyacids (Keggin형 헤테로폴리산에 의한 과당의 5-하이드록시메틸퍼퓨랄로의 전환을 위한 탈수반응)

  • Four Keggin-type heteropolyacids, $H_nXM_{12}O_{40}$(X = P and Si, M = W and Mo) that were substituted with heteroatom and polyatom were applied to the dehydration reaction of fructose to 5-hydroxymethylfurfural (HMF). The results showed that the acid became stronger when the heteroatom and polyatom were substituted with P and W than the cases of Si and Mo, respectively. However, the amount of acidic sites increased with the decrease in the acid strength, resulting in the change of the catalytic activity of heteropolyacids in the dehydration reaction. The experimental results revealed that four different heteropolyacids produced similar amounts of HMF via the dehydration reaction of fructose due to the counterbalancing effect between the amount of active sites, which is related to the catalytic activity of heteropolyacids, and the softness of polyanion. In addition, it was observed that the prepared heteropolyacids showed good structural stability after heat treatment at $200^{\circ}C$.

  • In studying injective covers, the modules C such that Hom(E, C) = 0 and $Ext^1$(E, C) = 0 for all injective module E play an important role because of Wakamatsu's lemma. If C is a module over the ring k[[x, y]] with k a field, the class of these modules C contains the class $\={D}$ of all direct summands of products of modules of finite length ([3, Theorem 2.9]). In this paper we show that every module over any commutative ring has a $\={D}$-preenvelope.

  • For every doubling gauge g, we prove that there is a Cantor set of positive finite $H^g$-measure, $P^g$-measure, and $P^g_0$-premeasure. Also, we show that every compact metric space of infinite $P^g_0$-premeasure has a compact countable subset of infinite $P^g_0$-premeasure. In addition, we obtain a class of uniform Cantor sets and prove that, for every set E in this class, there exists a countable set F, with $\bar{F}=E{\cup}F$, and a doubling gauge g such that $E{\cup}F$ has different positive finite $P^g$-measure and $P^g_0$-premeasure.

  • The welding consumables which are able to be applied in shipbuilding is decided in accordance with base materials. The class societies regulate that 3Y grade welding consumables have to be used for E(H) grade steel. Welding consumables with about 1.5% Ni contents in the deposited metal have been using to weld E(H) grade steel in domestic shipbuilding companies. It was inevitable to obtain impact property of weldment at low temperature. However, when the welding consumables are used in production, there are two kinds of problems-bad workability & cost-up of welding consumables. Therefore development of Ni free welding consumables for E(H) grade steel are required & this paper will introduce the development of Ni free 4Y grade FCW.

  • 국내 최초 원전인 고리1호기는 지난 2007년 30년의 운전수명을 마친 뒤 정부의 안전점검을 거쳐 10년간 연장운전에 들어갔다. 이 과정에서 원전의 비상 전원 계통 신뢰성 확보를 위해 설계수명을 초과한 35년 된 노후 비상디젤발전기(Emergency Diesel Generator, 이하 EDG)를 지난 2013년 4월부터 9월까지 약 6개월에 걸쳐 교체하게 되었으며, 국내 원전 EDG 총 42대 중 18대가 20년 넘게 운영되고 있고, 2025년까지 고리 1호기를 후속으로 월성1호기, 고리2호기, 고리3호기, 고리4호기, 한빛1호기 순으로 40년 승인된 운전 인허가 기간이 만료된다.[1]. 본 연구에서, Class 1E EDG 교체 시 신규 EDG 설계기준, 용량결정, 해석 및 평가에 대한 기술적 방법들을 고리1호기의 사례를 통해 고찰하였다.
