엔지니어링 데이터베이스를 위한 제품데이터의 모델링 (Product Data Model ing for Engineer ing Database)

  • Nowadays, there are many efforts to integrate CAD/CAM and other systems. The key of integration is engineering database implementation through the product data definition. In this paper, we suggest the product data definition and their properties for electronic consumer product throughout the requirement analysis for engineering database. Electronic consumer products include electric/electronic parts. as well as mechanical part which mainly compose of machinery. The paper is composed of three parts: the first is analysis about engineering data base. the second is understanding of product data structure and properties. and the last is modeling of product data including static and dynamic characteristics.

EasyConnection : 이질 데이터베이스들의 효율적 연동 방식 (EasyConnection : An Efficient Approach to Integrating Heterogeneous Databases)

  • There have been several approaches to integrating heterogeneous database systems in enterprises. Due to their inherent limitations, however, it has been difficult to apply them to actual situations in enterprises. In this paper, we propose EasyConnection, a system that is based on the flexible and extensible architecture and overcomes the limitations of the previous approaches, EasyConnection consists of Wrappers, Sharing Manager, and Clients, and the connections among these components are based on CORBA. It can also be used as the information management mechanism for such application systems as ERP, PDM, and EAI.

  • XML을 핵심 기술로 사용하는 RosettaNet이나 BizTalk 등의 다양한 전자상거래 프레임워크들이 생겨나기 시작하면서 프레임워즈들은 각자의 표준에 따라 파트너간에 비즈니스 프로세스를 수행하게 된다. 이러한 프레임워크간의 상이함은 전자상거래시 기업 간의 문서의 다양성으로 인하여 문서 교환에 어려움이 따르게 된다. 본 논문에서는 XML문서의 정보를 추출 단계를 거쳐 문서정보를 기반으로 매핑 정보를 생성한 후 문서간의 매핑룰을 적용하여 변환할 수 있도록 설계하였다. 따라서 전자상거래 프레임워크 간 정보의 손실 없이 상호 문서 교환이 가능할 뿐만 아니라 신뢰할 수 있는 교환이 가능하다.

건설CALS에서 고속도로인허가 시스템 구현 사례 (A Case Study on Implementing Highway Approval/Permission System in Construction CALS)

  • This paper is to analyze business activities of approval/permission (A/P) and to describe its problems. To conduct the A/P business activities currently, there are many problems such as complex business process and different business policies among the each organization. In order to solve the problems, this paper suggests the A/P system of highway construction CALS (Commerce at Light Speed). CALS, a top down vision of complete computing integration, promises to support electronic data exchange. The A/P system is designed to classified documents based on CALS standard and store them to database. The data register to the A/P system by the Internet, and each construction company can use the A/P system by Internet also. Benefits of the A/P system is reduction in junk documents for approval/permission actives, improvement in conduct and services life cycle support.

  • The inter-organizational business process is one of the hot issues in B2B e-commerce. In this paper, through the survey of the inter-organizational business process integration and the analysis of B2Bi related standards, e.g., BPML, WSDL, WSCI, and BPSS, we propose a method of linking BPML and BPSS specifications that can be used to integrate private processes with the public processes among enterprises. We also suggest an application example of the method by redefining a PIP of RosettaNet to the BPSS specification. The basic principle of the method is to maintain the independency of the existing BPML and BPSS applications and to construct an intermediary transformation module between the two applications.

전자상거래를 위한 규칙 및 사례기반 추론 에이전트 (Electronic Commerce Using on Case & Rule Based Reasoning Agent)

  • With the gradual growth of the electronic commerce various forms of shopping malls are constructed, and their searching methods and function are studied many ways. However, the recent outcome is still inadequate to search for goods for the tastes and demands of customers. To construct the shopping mall on the electronic commerce and help customers with purchasing goods, the efficient interface for the customers to contact the shopping malls should be founded and the customers should be able to search the goods they want. Therefore, in this paper, we designed the Intelligent Integration Agent System (IIAS) using the multi-agent formed by the integration agent which integrates the case based reasoning(CBR) and the rule based reasoning(RBR) and the user agent which manages users' profiles. IIAS performs the rule based reasoning on the subject issue first, then provides the unsatisfying search results from the rule-base reasoning to the customers through the user agent, which enables the search of the goods most similar to the ones that meet the tastes and demands of the customers. That is, the accuracy and the speed has been improved by reasoning with the similarity adjustable integration agent which can pick out the goods of customers wants by modifying the weights of properties according to those of the customers.

  • EAI(Enterprise Application Integration)는 기업 응용통합 기반구조로써 그 역할의 중용성이 강조되어져 왔으며, 기업 전반에 걸친 획기적인 변화와 비용 절감과 새로운 응용서비스를 생성해왔다. 그러나 이러한 서비스를 효과적으로 구현하고, 운영하기 위해서는 지속적인 모니터링과 데이터의 관리가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 효과적인 서비스의 구현과 안정적인 EAI 환경을 위한 모니터링 시스템의 요구사항과 기능들을 도출하였으며, 이를 웹 기반으로 설계 및 구현을 하였다. 이러한 모니터링 시스템은 웹 기반으로 설계, 구현되어 일반적인 EAI 환경에서 적용이 가능하다.

  • The population of consumers who purchase goods through electronic commerce(EC) is increasing due In the advance of Internet. They can purchase goods freely without time and space restriction and can have variety of choices of goods. Now most of e-Catalogs rely on the simple texts or images to present information on goods. As such, there is limitation in describing goods in detail, which might not make consumers interested in those goods. To solve the problem, more advanced e-Catalogs are demanded compared with the existing ones, requiring research on the e-Catalog authoring techniques that utilize dynamic multimedia data such as audios or videos in addition to the conventional texts and images. In this paper, we describe development of an e-Catalog authoring tnol that is based on SMIL(Synchronized Multimedia Integration Language) which is one of XML applications.

  • This paper examines to focus on General Strategy of e-logistics activity for SCM(Supply Chain Management) Build-up, especially the field service logistics Integration. And this research analyzes the case study (Business of Strategy Group Unit) Survey) involving effective logistics management that leads customer satisfaction, seeking to find out the key elements of competitive policy. Because problems arise from the differences between their goals and structures, which cause each sied to feel vulneralbe to opportunism or shirking of responsibilities by the other. The goal of a logistics system is to ensure that every family planning client always receives the contraceptives partner wants, and that they are in good condition and have not expired. In order to select, procure, and distribute the right Quantities of the right contraceptives, managers of the logistics system must keep informed of the rates of use of each contraceptive and of the Quantity of available supplies. As a result, We propose that a firm's e-logistics strategy is an important locus innovation and a crucial source of value creation for the firm its suppliers, partners, and customers.
