  • Due to the changes in market place, new business types(e.g. e-business} have been rapidly emerged and increased. However, those new business types have not much been emerged in port and logistics related industries, and adoption rate of e-business in this area is very low, compared to other industries. Thus, to promote e-business in this area, many policies have been studied. However, most of previous studies have not been based on industrial structure, and results of these studies have mostly been case by case. Further, there have been no research based on the related theories. As a result, despite many of research and project for shipping and port related e-business, prominent achievements in this area have never to be presented. For these reasons, it am be stated that, first of all, basic studies related to new business types in shipping and port are needed, and then, various policies based on results of those basic studies should be discussed. The aim of this study is to classify business types existed (or expected) in a port related industry, ship bunkering. This taxonomy was based on theories related to business layer(BL) and value chain(VC), and these BL and VC combination enabled to acquire all possible business types.

  • Port marketing using websites in the e-business environment is essential in response to the competition to become hub ports, especially since shipping companies, ports' major customers, are being pressed by shippers to reduce logistics costs and introduce large ships to realize economies of scale, thereby reducing the number of ports of call. In this sense, this study intends to approach the port industry from the perspective of e-business and suggest vitalization methods using Gwangyang Port websites(6C; contents, community, communication, connection, commerce, customization) as one of the ways to turn it into Northeast Asia's hub port of logistics.

  • Workflow mining is a newly emerging research issue for rediscovering and reengineering workflow models from workflow logs containing information about workflow being executed on the workflow engine. This paper newly defines a workflow process reduction mechanism that formally and automatically reduces an original workflow process to a minimal set of activities, which was used proposed 'E-walk series analysis algorithm'. Main purpose of this paper is to minimize discrepancies between the workflow process modeled and the enacted workflow process as it is actually being executed. That means, we compare a complete set of activity firing sequences on buildtime with workflow execution logs which was generate on runtime. For this purpose we proposed two algorithm, the one is 'Activity-Dependent Net Algorithm' and the other is 'E-Walk Series Analysis Algorithm'.

  • As most G-20 countries expect medical spending to grow rapidly over the next few decades, the burden of healthcare costs continues to grow globally due to an increase in the elderly population and chronic illnesses, and the ongoing quality improvement of health care services. However, under the rapidly changing technological environment of healthcare and IT convergence, the problem may become even bigger if not properly recognized and not properly prepared. In the context of the paradigm shift and the increasing problem of the medical field, complex responses in technical, institutional and business aspects are urgently needed. • With the spread of untact culture resulting from the Covid-19 pandemic, the size of the car camping market has expanded to minimize contact with others. As a result, SUVs have exceeded sales of sedans, and sales of recreational vehicles (RVs) have increased by 101% compared to the same period last year. Despite the explosive increase in demand for car camping, research on car camping has not matched this increase. Therefore, in this study, we intended to conduct a study focused on car camping users. According to a survey of Naver's famous car camping cafe, it was difficult to find articles, maps, and websites with car camping places. Analysis of car camping websites showed that most only post information about the camping itself, so details of car camping places were not available. Furthermore, according to a survey derived from related prior studies and literature surveys, most users urged solutions to the problem of unauthorized garbage dumping in the car camping locations. In addition, car camping users wanted to receive information on amenities near the car camping places. Therefore, we aimed to establish a car camping website that provides basic information on car camping places and nearby convenience facilities. Moreover, to solve the problem of garbage dumping, we provided a category wherein users can post pictures of clean camping campaigns. We also developed a business model utilizing the certification process of clean camping. The business model is designed with a structure wherein car camping users are rewarded through the clean camping certification process. Compensation for clean camping certification was proposed to be provided through partnerships with domestic automakers, Korea Tourism Organization, and Small Business Market Promotion Agency.
