이 글에서는 디지털 아카이브 되거나 데이터베이스화 되어있는 영상정보의 저장규모와 이용 시장에 대하여 기술한다. 현재, CD-ROM 타이틀, 비디오 CD 및 DVD 타이틀과 인터네트를 통한 부분적인 이용에 그치고 있는 디지털 영상정보는 무어의 법칙을 따르는 컴퓨터 프로세서 성능 증대, 50 만원대에 20GB용량을 가지는 광자기 디스크의 출현처럼 계속 확장되고 있는 저장용량, Gigabit LAN의 등장과 같이 지속적으로 확대되는 통신 네트워크의 전달용량, 영상기반 렌더링을 이용하는 새로운 가상세계 구축기술 등 그 활용을 가속시키는 여러 요인들에 의해 용도가 큰 폭으로 증가하고 있다. 이에 따라 영상정보는 교육, 의료 등 기본적인 생환산업 분야를 비롯하여 여러 산업 분야의 경쟁력을 강화시킬 수 있는 정보원으로서의 근간이 될 것이다. 이러한 발전의 지속은 기술에 의해서만 보장될 수 있으므로, 영상정보의 디지털 처리, 디스플레이, 저장 등의 디지털 아카이브 관련 기술과 디지털 영상정보의 편집, 저작, 검색, 전송 등에 관련된 분야의 기술 확보를 어떻게 대비해야 할 것인가가 중요한 과제이다.

MP3, DVD, P2P 등 디지털 매체기술의 발달은 디지털콘텐츠의 창작과 유통을 급속도로 증가시켰고 일반 공중은 다양한 창작물에 쉽게 접근할 수 있게 됐다. 반면 이러한 기술의 발전은 원본과 거의 차이가 없는 복제물을 쉽고 빠르게 비용을 들이지 않고 재생성하게 하였고, 또한 디지털콘텐츠는 한 번 전송되고 나면 그 침해를 막기가 거의 불가능하기 때문에 저작권자의 이익을 저해하는 사례가 점차로 증가되고 있다. 이에 저작권자들은 자신들이 창작한 저작물을 무단복제로부터 보호하기 위해 암호화기법, 디지털워터마크 등 기술적 조치(technological measures)를 개발해 저작물에 대한 접근을 제한하기 시작했다. 이러한 움직임과 더불어 접근제한시스템에 대한 법적 보호의 필요성이 제기됐고, 저작권자의 허락없이 기술적 보호조치를 무력화하거나 침해하는 행위를 금지하는 입법이 이뤄졌다. 그러나 기술적 보호조치를 보호하게 되면 전통적으로 인정해 온 저작물에 대한 일반인의 접근을 차단하게 되므로 저작권법의 근본적인 입법취지인 과학기술의 발전과 문화증진을 저해하게 될 것이라는 비판도 강력히 맞서고 있다. 이하에서는 기술적보호조치에 관한 사례들을 소개하고 기술적 보호조치의 개념, 관련 법률조항 및 주요 법적 쟁점 등을 중점적으로 살펴보도록 하겠다.

The purpose of this study is to inquire into social and cultural background of modernization and the new woman's life centered around a new woman and a dancer, Choi Seung-hee and its style. The study was carried out centered around analysis of content through photos of 179 pieces and a documentary DVD. We analyzed collected photo data and came to know various bobbed hair style, clear makeup style and Art-Deco fashion. Accordingly, Choi Seung-hee has external appearance as a new woman and we came to know she is a representative woman in Korea. Because she crossed over into North Korea, the study has not been actively carried out but if we consider Choi Seung-hee's influence over the dance world, her women's leader and fashion roles at that age, it is considered that the study on Choi Seung-hee's external style has a significant meaning.

In this study, experimental tests for driving noise of various optical disk drives (ODD) have been performed using 1/2' microphone noise measurement system. Several new and old ODD models by different manufacturers are practically considered and compared far realistic driving conditions. Sound insulation case with absorbing material fur the present experimental tests is designed and constructed using CATIA system. It is found that average data transfer rate, operating RPM, and sound noise level seems to be different for the same opposed speed ODD by different manufacturers. Moreover, driving sound noise level can be largely affected by both tray shape and driving speed even for the same apparent data transfer rate.

최근 저소음형 fan 의 도입과 컴퓨터 케이스의 설계 변경 등으로 컴퓨터 소음이 저감되어, HDD 나 CD/DVD-ROM 등에서 발생하는 협대역 소음들이 문제가 되기도 한다. 특히 HDD 의 소음은 회전 속도의 증가와 휴대용 컴퓨터나 외장 HDD와 같이 사용자에 근접한 환경에서 사용되는 빈도가 높아짐에 따라 소음제어에 대한 관심이 증가되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 HDD 소음 분석 및 제어에 적합한 방법론 정립을 위한 음향/진동 분석이 수행되였다. 먼저 음압과 음향 파워, 진동속도를 측정하여 각 면의 기여도와 문제가 되는 주파수 대역을 선정하여 그 원인이 무엇인지를 실험적으로 찾아내고, 소음저감을 발안을 제시하였다. 이러한 개선 방안들은 실험적인 방법으로 검증되었으며, 음향 진동 분석을 통한 소음원 파악 및 적절한 개선 방향의 설정은 향후 HDD 설계시 유용한 정보로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

In order to operate CD and DVD compatibly in a pickup system, the objective lens comprise diffractive optical element(DOE) zone and aspheric curvature on its lens surface. The DOE objective lens is effective to simplify this dual-purpose pickup system of the 655nm and 785nm wavelength by using only one lens, but requires more precision manufacturing process and system due to the complicated shape. This paper presents the overall manufacturing process of this objective lens and describes main parameters in each process, for the correction of the aspheric surface in its core, the shrinkage compensation after injection molding, and the uniformity compensation by adjusting molding conditions.

인터넷 정보 가전(IA: Internet Appliances)은 매우 복합적이고 다양한 제품과 기술로 구성되어 있지만, 간단하게 정의하자면 유무선 정보통신망에 연결되어 데이터 송수신이 가능한 디지털 TV, 인터넷 냉장고, DVD, 디지털 비디오 등과 같은 차세대 네트워크 가전제품을 말한다[l]. 이러한 인터넷 정보 가전에 있어서 Home PNA, PLC, IEEE1394, 무선 랜, Home RF, Bluetooth 등 다양한 기술과 규격이 홈 네트워크로 제시되어 있지만 이를 도입하기엔 부담이 큰 가전기기들이 대부분인 것이 현실이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 홈 서버의 직렬 포트에 무선 모뎀을 장착해서 이동 로봇을 원격 제어하는 시스템을 설계 구현함으로써 하드웨어 및 소프트웨어적인 비용이 저렴한 인터넷 정보 가전용 이동 로봇 시스템의 구현 가능성을 제시한다.

실시간 운영 체제(Real-Time Operating System)는 특정 태스크가 정해진 시간 안에 수행될 수 있도록 시간 결정성(Determinism)을 보장하는 운영 체제이다. 실시간 운영테제는 멀티태스킹(Multitasking) 및 ITC(InterTask Communication 혹은 IPC, Interprocess Communication)을 제공한다는 점에서는 일반 운영체제인 Unix$^{TM}$, Linux$^{TM}$, Windows$^{TM}$ 등과 같지만, 시간 결정성을 보장한다는 점에서 일반 운영 체제와 다르다. 또만 실시간 운영 체제를 포함한 임베디드 시스템(Embedded System)은 일반적으로 디지털 카메라, 디지털 TV, DVD 등에서 수행되므로 실행 이미지(Image) 크기가 작아야 한다. 본 논문에서는 실시간 운영체제의 실행 이미지를 줄이면서 시간 결정성을 보장한 수 있도록 메모리 관리 체계를 설계하고 구현한 내용을 설명한다.

기관고장에 의한 해양사고는 지속적으로 증가추세에 있으며, 특히 100톤 미만의 소형선박에 설치된 고속기관의 기관사고가 전체 기관사고의 많은 부분을 차지하고 있다. 이러한 원인은 선박운용자의 직무와 관련된 정비점검불량에서 기인하는 사례로 나타나며 특히 소형선박 선원의 고속기관에 대한 전문지식 부족으로 일상 점검 및 정비 능력이 부족한 것이 주요 원인으로 파악 되고 있다. 본 연구개발 과제는 이와 같은 기관사고의 줄이기 위하여 선박운항자 등 고속기관 취급인 등을 대상으로 하는 고속기관에 대한 안전점검 요령 및 정비요령에 대한 시청각 교재를 개발 보급할 목적으로 추진되었다.

The purpose of this study is to present a contents production process for costume design analysis by take advantage of the image media of Chinese historical backgrounds. The production process of contents for lectures on fashion design analysis can be summarized as follows: The contents for the design analysis of Chinese costumes can be divided into major media and supplementary media. Major media can be completed through the processes including the selection of Chinese historical backgrounds. images and media (video, DVD title or VOD), verification of image capture parts, image captures, and applications of PPT files. Supplementary media consist of production of analysis materials for each item and TPO, report preparation methods and discussions, and printed matters to be used at the stage of image comparison and verification. This way, a process applicable to the design analysis of Chinese costumes can be presented.
