A Novel Induction Heating Type Super Heated Vapor Steamer using Dual Mode Phase Shifted PWM Soft Switching High Frequency Inverter

  • In this paper, a constant frequency phase shifting PWM controlled voltage source full bridge-type series load resonant high-frequency inverter using the IGBT power modules is presented for innovative consumer electromagnetic induction heating applications such as a hot water producer, steamer and super heated steamer. The full bridge arm side link passive quasi-resonant capacitor snubbers in parallel with the each power semiconductor device and high frequency AC load side linked active edge inductive snubber-assisted series load resonant tank soft switching inverter with a constant frequency phase shifted PWM control scheme is discussed and evaluated on the basis of the simulation and experimental results. It is proved from a practical point of view that the series load resonant and edge resonant hybrid high-frequency soft switching PWM inverter topology, what is called class DE type. including the variable-power variable-frequency(VPVF) regulation function can expand zero voltage soft switching commutation range even under low output power setting ranges, which is more suitable and acceptable for induction heated dual packs fluid heater developed newly for consumer power utilizations. Furthermore, even in the lower output power regulation mode of this high-frequency load resonant tank high frequency inverter circuit it is verified that this inverter can achieve ZVS with the aid of the single auxiliary inductor snubber.

초고강도 합금강의 이종마찰교반 접합부에서의 미세조직 특성 및 기계적 물성 연구 (Microstructural and Mechanical Analysis of a Friction Stir Welded Joint of Dissimilar Advanced High-Strength Steels)

  • For microstructural analysis of a friction stir welded (FSWed) joint of advanced high-strength steels, dual phase (DP) and complex phase (CP) steels, are studied. FSWed joints are successfully fabricated in the following four cases: (i) DP/DP; (ii) CP/CP; (iii) DP/CP, where the advancing side is DP and the retreating side is CP; (iv) CP/DP, where the advancing side is CP and the retreating side is DP. The stir zone (SZ) of (i) the DP/DP joint mainly consists of lath martensite, while the stir zone of (ii) the CP/CP joint consists not only of lath martensite but also of bainite. In the case of (iii) DP/CP and (iv) CP/DP, they exhibit a similar microstructure including acicular-shaped phases in the joints; however, cross-sections of the joints show differences in material mixing in each case. In (iv) the CP/DP joint, temperature towards the CP steel is sufficient to cause softening, thus leading to better mixing than that in (iii) DP/CP. The phases of the SZ in each of the four cases are formed by phase transformation during the FSWed process; however, the transformed phase volume fraction of CP steel is lower than that of DP steel, indicating that dynamic recrystallization occurs mainly in CP steel. The hardness values of the SZ are significantly higher than those of the base materials, especially, the SZ of (iii) the DP/CP joint has the highest value due to highest fraction of lath martensite.

  • 본 논문에서는 정지 좌표계 dq-축 전류를 기반으로 하는 비대칭 6상 PMSM의 스위치 개방 고장 검출 알고리즘을 제안한다. 본 논문에서의 해당 모터는 2개의 3상 권선이 30°의 전기적 위상차를 갖고 중성점이 분리된 비대칭 구조를 갖는다. 따라서 듀얼 3상 PWM 인버터와 스위치 개방 고장으로 인한 검출기법이 반드시 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 비대칭 6상 PMSM을 구동하기 위해 듀얼 dq축 전류 제어 방식을 사용하며 전역 통과 필터와 저역 통과 필터를 사용해 전류 변동을 감지하여 개방 고장이 발생한 스위치를 검출하는 방식을 제안한다. 제안한 방법의 효과와 유용성은 여러 실험을 통해 검증하였다.

고주파용 소형 저 위상잡음 주파수 합성기 설계에 관한 연구 (A Study on Low Phase Noise Frequency Synthesizer Design with Compact Size for High Frequency Band)

  • In this paper, we designed low phase noise frequency synthesizer with compact size for High frequency band (Ku-band). The paper addresses merits and demerits of single loop and dual loop frequency synthesizer. The phase noise characteristics of the phase-locked loop frequency synthesizer were predicted based on the analysis for phase noise contribution of noise sources. The proposed model in this paper more accurately predicts the low phase noise frequency synthesizer with compact size for high frequency band.

무정전전원장치 병렬운전을 위한 인버터의 출력 위상 동기화 방법 (Output Phase Synchronization Method of Inverter for Parallel Operation of Uninterruptible Power System)

  • In this paper, we propose the bus/bypass synchronization phase lock loop (B-Sync PLL) method using each phase voltage controller of a parallel UPS inverter. The B-Sync PLL included in each phase voltage control system of parallel UPS inverters has the transient response and the phase synchronization error at grid normal or blackout. The validity of this method is verified by simulation and experiment. As a result, the parallel UPS inverters using the proposed method confirmed that the output phase was continuously synchronized when a grid blackout, improving the transient response characteristics for stable load power supply and equal load sharing.

10%Cr 페라이트계 합금에서 라베스상의 석출거동에 관한 연구 (Precipitation Behavior of Laves Phase in 10%Cr Ferrite System Alloy)

  • The present study were investigated changes of precipitation behaviour of laves phase in ferrite single phase and ferrite-martensite dual phase and precipitation of laves phase under stress. Hardness changes in ferrite phase appeared two hardness peaks by precipitation of initial fine precipitator and laves phase in 3Mo-0.3Si and 3Mo-0.3Si-C specimens, respectively. Hardness changes in martensite phase of 3Mo-0.3Si-C specimen was lower in the initial stage of aging by carbide precipitation and after this, increased by re-hardening due to precipitation of laves phase. In the ferrite phase, laves phase was mainly precipitated, whereas in the martensite phase, carbide was preferentially formed during the initial stage of aging and with increasing aging time, laves phase and carbide were simultaneously precipitated by precipitation of laves phase at around carbide. In the ferrite-martensite interface, laves phase was mainly precipitated and carbide was mainly formed at boundary of lath martensite than grain boundary. Adding the stress in aging, fine precipitator of inital precipitation of laves phase precipitated in (100) of perpendicular to tensile direction and has grown to only followed<010>direction and also, volume fraction of laves phase increased. Consequently, the stress added was accelerated initial precipitation of laves phase.

CRLH 전송선로의 비선형 위상 특성을 이용한 이중대역 평형 믹서 (Dual-Band Balanced Mixer using Nonlinear Phase Characteristic of CRLH Transmission Line)

  • 본 논문은 비선형 위상 특성을 갖고 있는 CRLH 전송선로를 이용하여 이중대역 평형 믹서를 제안한 것이다. 이 메타 재질 구조의 믹서는 이중대역에서 낮은 LO 누설 전력과 높은 RF-LO 고립도를 갖고 있어, LO와 RF 경로에 추가적인 여파기가 필요하지 않는다. 이 평형 믹서는 이중대역에서 동작하는 발룬과 윌킨슨 분배기를 이용하여 구현하였으며, 이중대역 특성은 CRLH 전송선로의 비선형 위상 특성을 이용하였다. 제안한 메타 재질을 이용한 평형 믹서는 실험을 결과를 통해서 증명하였으며, 870 MHz와 1660 MHz의 주파수에서 동작하도록 제작하여, 870 MHz에서 15.2 dB, 1660 MHz에서 21.2 dB의 변환 손실을 얻었다.

초임계 이산화탄소 이중 브레이튼 사이클 개발 연구 (Research on the Development of the Supercritical CO2 Dual Brayton Cycle)

  • 초임계 이산화탄소 사이클은 소형화 및 효율 향상에 대한 잠재력 때문에 최근 관심이 증가하고 있으며, 원자력, 태양열(CSP) 및 화력 발전 분야에서 활발히 연구되고 있다. 이와 관련하여, 본 논문에서는 한국에너지기술연구원(KIER)의 초임계 이산화탄소 동력 사이클 연구 내용과 현황을 소개하였다. 1 단계 연구에서는 단순 초임계 브레이튼 사이클 실험 루프를 제작 및 시운전 하였으며, 현재 진행중인 2 단계 연구에서는 두개의 터빈과 두개의 재생기를 갖는 초임계 이중(dual) 브레이튼 사이클을 설계 및 제작하고 있다. 최적 설계를 위한 초임계 이중 브레이튼 사이클 모델링 및 시뮬레이션 결과, 본 연구에서 고려한 조건하에서, 사이클의 순출력을 극대화시키는 설계 변수가 존재함을 확인하였다.

이중주입 초음파분무법에 의한 메틸암모늄 할로젠화 납 페로브스카이트 박막의 제조 (Preparation of methylammonium lead halide perovskite thin films by dual feed ultrasonic spray method)

  • 본 연구에서는 페로브스카이트 태양전지의 광흡수체로 사용되는 메틸암모늄 할로젠화 납(methylammonium lead halide, $MAPbX_3$, X = I, Br) 페로브스카이트(perovskite) 박막을 이중주입 초음파분무법을 이용하여 제조하였다. 이중주입 초음파 분무법을 통해 $60^{\circ}C$ 이하의 기판온도에서 분무한 후, $75^{\circ}C$에서 5분간 최종열처리 후 $MAPbI_3$ 단일상을 제조할 수 있었다. $80^{\circ}C$ 이상의 온도에서 분무 증착 시에는 페로브스카이트 상의 분해로 인해 구형의 결정립이 막대형태의 프렉탈(fractal) 구조로 변화되었다. $MAPbI_3$ 용액과 $MAPbIBr_2$ 용액의 이중주입을 통해, $MAPbI_3$ 박막에 비해 높은 $100^{\circ}C$의 열처리로 $MAPbI_{3-x}Br_x$ 박막을 제조할 수 있었다.

비만의 펩타이드 치료제 (Peptides in Obesity Treatment)

  • Currently, pharmacotherapy is becoming essential for obesity, owing to its expanding and increasing epidemiology. In this review, novel peptide-based drugs of four classes are covered: GLP-1 receptor agonist, GIP/GLP-1 receptor dual agonist, glucagon/GLP-1 receptor dual agonist, and a combination of amylin receptor agonist/GLP-1 receptor agonist. Semaglutide is a next-generation GLP-1 receptor agonist with a longer duration and stronger weight and glucose reduction effects than liraglutide and dulaglutide. In the STEP1 trial, semaglutide 2.4 mg reduced body weight by approximately 15% in people with obesity with similar or milder adverse events than liraglutide 3.0 mg. Tirzepatide, a GIP/GLP-1 receptor dual agonist, also has a long duration and strong weight- and glucose-lowering effect. According to SURPASS-2, 3, and 4, in patients with BMI≥25 kg/m2 and type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM), tirzepatide 15 mg reduced the initial body weight by >13%. Cotadutide, a glucagon/GLP-1 receptor dual agonist, showed weaker weight-lowering effects than semaglutide and tirzepatide, while it was comparable to that of liraglutide in a phase 2 clinical trial for non-alcoholic fatty liver disease in patients with BMI≥25 kg/m2 and T2DM. Additionally, its effect on the liver was noticeable. The long-acting amylin receptor agonist cargrilintide combined with semaglutide can be another effective option for obesity treatment. Even in a small phase 1 trial with a short study period of 20 weeks, cargrilintide 2.4 mg/semaglutide 2.4 mg reduced by 17% of initial body weight in people with BMI 27-39.9 kg/m2. In coming several years, semaglutide, tirzepatide, and cargrilintide/semaglutide will become available for obesity treatment in Korea.
