This study explains the GIS database of flood inundation area developed for Samsung-1 Drainage Sector, Seoul, Korea. The XP-SWMM dual drainage model was developed for the study area, and the time series observed at the watershed outlet was used to obtain the watershed time of concentration and to calibrate the XP-SWMM model. The rainfall scenario was developed by dividing the 40 minute watershed time of concentration into two 20-minute time steps and then applying the gradually increasing 5 mm/hr interval rainfall intensity to each of the time step up to 200 mm/hr, which is the probable maximum precipitation of the study area. The developed rainfall scenarios was used as the input of the XP-SWMM model to obtain the database of the flood inundation area. The analysis on the developed GIS database revealed that: (1) For the same increment of the rainfall, the increase of the flooded area can be different, and this was caused by topographic characteristics and spatial formation of pipe network of the study area; (2) For the same flooded area, the spatial extent can be significantly different depending on the temporal distribution of rainfall; and (3) For the same amount of the design rainfall, the flood inundation area and the extent can be significantly different depending on the temporal distribution of rainfall.

Aluminum oxide ($Al_2O_3$) thin films were grown by atomic layer deposition (ALD) using a new Al metalorganic precursor, dimethyl aluminum sec-butoxide ($C_{12}H_{30}Al_2O_2$), and water vapor ($H_2O$) as the reactant at deposition temperatures ranging from 150 to $300^{\circ}C$. The ALD process showed typical self-limited film growth with precursor and reactant pulsing time at $250^{\circ}C$; the growth rate was 0.095 nm/cycle, with no incubation cycle. This is relatively lower and more controllable than the growth rate in the typical $ALD-Al_2O_3$ process, which uses trimethyl aluminum (TMA) and shows a growth rate of 0.11 nm/cycle. The as-deposited $ALD-Al_2O_3$ film was amorphous; X-ray diffraction and transmission electron microscopy confirmed that its amorphous state was maintained even after annealing at $1000^{\circ}C$. The refractive index of the $ALD-Al_2O_3$ films ranged from 1.45 to 1.67; these values were dependent on the deposition temperature. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy showed that the $ALD-Al_2O_3$ films deposited at $250^{\circ}C$ were stoichiometric, with no carbon impurity. The step coverage of the $ALD-Al_2O_3$ film was perfect, at approximately 100%, at the dual trench structure, with an aspect ratio of approximately 6.3 (top opening size of 40 nm). With capacitance-voltage measurements of the $Al/ALD-Al_2O_3/p-Si$ structure, the dielectric constant of the $ALD-Al_2O_3$ films deposited at $250^{\circ}C$ was determined to be ~8.1, with a leakage current density on the order of $10^{-8}A/cm^2$ at 1 V.

A novel recombinant bacmid, bEasyBm, that enables the easy and fast generation of pure recombinant baculovirus without any purification step was constructed. In bEasyBm, attR recombination sites were introduced to facilitate the generation of a recombinant viral genome by in vitro transposition. Moreover, the extracellular RNase gene from Bacillus amyloliquefaciens, barnase, was expressed under the control of the Cotesia plutellae bracovirus early promoter to negatively select against the nonrecombinant background. The bEasyBm bacmid could only replicate in host insect cells when the barnase gene was replaced with the gene of interest by in vitro transposition. When bEasyBm was transposed with pDualBac-EGFP, the resulting recombinant virus, EasyBm-EGFP, showed high levels of EGFP expression efficiency compared with that of non-purified recombinant virus BmGOZA-EGFP, which was constructed using the bBmGOZA system. In addition, nonrecombinant backgrounds were not detected in unpurified EasyBm-EGFP stocks. Based on these results, a high-throughput system for the generation of multiple recombinant viruses at a time was established.

This study is the conditions of location according to formed the times in the clan village. The results of this study are as follows ; 1. in the 15th century, the characterestics of the village established residencial place where mountain stream flowed surrounded by the mountain and deep in the mountains with superior quality land. That's because Sa-dae-bu put equal importance on beautiful scenery and practical benefit for living. Stream House provided economical foundation for Sa-dae-bu to be able to keep confucial manners by putting limit their economic status to small medium sized land owner. Topographical condition such as valley or hollow separated from the exterior maintained unification of consanguineous village in self sufficient farming society and held on to independent territory against external to be able to stay away from turbulent days so that they formed residential area of Sa-dae-bu clan. And the valley where flowed clean water was considered as the connection of continuous place where distinctiveness of form in each curve and and factor of calm and dynamic scenery of the clean stream. Scholars in the middle of Chosun Dynasty located in the utopia as place for confucious retirement to study, a place for refinement by combination with the nature or as a way of spacial practice based on Confucious view of nature. 2. in the 16th-l7th century, Most of existing consanguineous villages adopt deep in the mountains for refuge. at that place, upward rank was established by settlement of the ancestor who entered in the village first, the principal was placed in the center of the village and since descendants became numerous, it was serialized as the space of descendants. So, it was arranged in the order of social rank. Most of the villages showed development step by step started from precaution by apperance of the mountain to the lower part. It's because the topography of valley around the village worked as the natural hedge against external force and genealogy of the clan, regularity of social status, order of entrance into the village were reflected into residencial destribution. Also, order of the rank coincided with the one of aspects on geomancy. Genealogical rank within the village represented spacial rank. Houses of descendants and branch families were placed lower than the principal which showed worship to the principal. 3. In 18th century after, as the village was settled nearby cultivated land considering economical loss caused by long distance between residencial area and cultivated land, direction of sect followed by development of village expanded from the front part of the village to the rear part. The principal that was poped out to the front presented frontage over exterior. Therefore, residencial area of branch families expanded to the rear starting from the principal. This represented a slice of social structure at that time. after 18th century, spirit was percieved superior over material, After then, development of cultivation and expantion of land created difference of economic strength within one village. In order to maintain and show off the status of Yang-ban, economic power of indigenous land owner became fundamental, so, sense to worship and to keep the principal became weak eventually. Taking advantage of that situation, residencial area of branch family expanded to the rear part of the principal which showed dual disposition conflicted with each other. However, these clan rules were destroyed and new rules were created after 18th century because of the situation and consciousness at that time.

According to the change of the traffic conditions, the requirement of controlling the separated left(or right) turn, the median bus lane and bicycle signal is increasing. However, the traffic signal controller standard based on the four-set lights restricts to control the three-set lights which control the separated direction and kind of traffics. This study suggests the method to control the three-set lights signal by improving the hardware and software for the traffic signal controller which is operated currently in the traffic scene. The 6 output ports of Load Signal Unit(LSU) which is consisted of Pedestrian Red, Pedestrian Green, Red, Yellow, Arrow and Green signal reconstitute 2 rows of the Red, Yellow, Green for three-set lights while the Signal Map data's code values which control the signal step of an individual Ring and LSU are established to adjust the LSU's output ports(R1 Y1 G1 R2 Y2 G2) of the three-set lights. The effect of using the separated through/left turn and the median lane bus signal of three-set lights is analyzed from a Mangwoo intersection in Seoul. The results of analysis show that the delay time of the east-west direction where the median bus lane is operated is especially improved with over 70 sec/veh.

73 percent of online games in Korea hold perspectives of medieval times in them. So far in history, about a millennium in medieval times is said to be a period of darkness and savagery, but it is newly revived in the digital virtual world. Such phenomenon is paradoxical and meaningful to often bring out 'medieval times' as a theme for online games, which are revealed by up-to-date technologies in present days. This research examines the background of views of medieval times appeared in online games and how they are realized. Medieval fantasy games have appeared because people dream about escaping from pre-modem times and have fantasy about medieval times. Moreover, perspectives of medieval times have enormously influenced background epics, quest stories, creation of characters in a game scenario. The dual structure having coexistence of nature and super naturalness acts an important role to set up the epic for medieval fantasy games. And medieval romance literature, which has a three-step quest narrative of 'targeting - adventure and fight - achievement' is reflected in a quest story of medieval fantasy games. The strict pyramid system represented by feudalism forms a meaningful metaphor for designing characters, and players organize communities for online games through horizontal collective consciousness in such vertical system of history at the same time.

Although China's maritime militia has not been well known despite its long history, it is recently emerging as a serious threat to maritime security, causing neighboring countries' security concerns due to the growing number of maritime disputes with China. In this regard, it is now time to clearly define the true nature of the Chinese maritime militia. A close look at the organization and roles of the Chinese maritime militia reveals that it is an organization that is systematically managed and operated by the Chinese government and the People's Liberation Army of China. Its role is to serve the purpose of "contributing to the protection and expansion of China's marine interests." In addition, the threat factors of the Chinese maritime militia were analyzed by examining the cases of maritime disputes between the Chinese maritime militia and neighboring countries. First, the Chinese maritime militia has implemented the "Gray Zone Strategy." Second, it is a systematic organization supported by the Chinese government and the People's Liberation Army. Third, it is a maritime power that cannot be ignored as the world's largest militia organization. Fourth, it has a strategic flexibility that enables the execution of the dual mission of working for a living such as commercial fishing and serving in the maritime militia. The threats of the Chinese maritime militia are not limited to Southeast Asian countries located in the South China Sea. This is also the case in Korea as the country cannot avoid maritime disputes with China such as the Ieodo issue and the boundary delimitation of the West Sea. Accordingly, this study was focused on presenting a predictable scenario and countermeasures based on the analysis through a scenario technique with respect to the two cases that are most likely to occur in Korea-China relations. Finally, beyond identifying the nature of the Chinese maritime militia, this study takes a further step to share considerations as to how the organization may operate and develop in the future and how we can cope with its moves.
