The purpose of the current research is to reconstruct the process in which changes in elderly support take place from the perspective of the elderly in rural areas. Six elderly couples were interviewed three times with the use of Schütze's 'autobiographical-narrative interview'. The entire interviews consisted of 17 sessions. Interviewed data was analyzed, following the method of Schütze's 'autobiographical-narrative interview analysis'. Research findings were as follows: Elderly support as experienced by the current elderly couples is mainly 'family support', which turned out to be 'dual structural shift' in the process of modernization. That is, there has been an 'internal structural shift' from 'family support on intergenerational, mutual support dimension' to 'family support on intragenerational self-support dimension' on the one hand. An 'external structural shift' has been noticed that realizes the 'socialization of family support' on the other hand. Additionally, a 'discrepancy' was captured between support norm and support behavior as occurred in the process of 'dual structural shift'. Perception on the 'dual structural shift' has proven 'ambivalent'. On the basis of these results, a critical discussion of modernization theory ensued, along with some implications for practice.

Since smart phones are changing the media for communication and its related mobile market, it is imperative to attract more application developers for success in application store business in order to attract more app users. By using aspects of the commitment marketing theory and the relationship marketing theory, this research study identified factors that influence on the relational commitment of application developers to the market. Survey of application developers from Korean mobile application developers' community was conducted to test the hypothesized model. The empirical results showed from an economic behavioral perspective market demand for applications and perceived usefulness of development tool led to relational commitment of developers mediated by perceived satisfaction while attractiveness of alternatives had no significant effect. In addition, fairness of review process and interactivity, based on the relationship marketing theory perspective, showed significant effect on the relational commitment of developers mediated by trust for application market.

Wellknown invariance of domain theorems are Brower's invariance of domain theorem for continuous mappings defined on a finite dimensional space and Schauder-Leray's invariance of domain theorem for the class of mappings I+C defined on a infinite dimensional Banach space with I the identity and C compact. The two classical invariance of domain theorems were proved by applying the homotopy invariance of Brower's degree and Leray-Schauder's degree respectively. Degree theory for some class of mappings is a useful tool for mapping theorems. And mapping theorems (or surjectivity theorems of mappings) are closely related with invariance of domain theorems for mappings. In[4, 5], Browder and Petryshyn constructed a multi-valued degree theory for A-proper mappings. From this degree Petryshyn [9] obtained some invariance of domain theorems for locally A-proper mappings. Recently Browder [6] has developed a degree theory for demicontinuous mapings of type ( $S_{+}$) from a reflexive Banach space X to its dual $X^{*}$. By applying this degree we obtain some invariance of domain theorems for demicontinuous mappings of type ( $S_{+}$). ( $S_{+}$).

We demonstrate that the finite rate of dielectric relaxation in liquid crystals which has been ignored previously causes profound effects in the fast dielectric reorientation of the director. The phenomenon is relevant for submillisecond switching of the director when the switching rate approaches the rate of dielectric relaxation through the reorientation of the molecular dipoles. A submillisecond switching ($15-400\;{\mu}s$ for an optical retardation shift $0.3-2.2\;{\mu}m$ in $10-15\;{\mu}m$ thick cells) is demonstrated for dual frequency nematic cells with high pretilt that maximizes the dielectric torque acting on the director. We propose the theory of dielectric response in which the electric displacement depends not only on the present (as in the standard theory) but also on the past values of electric field and director. We design an experiment in which the standard "instantaneous" model and our model predict effects of opposite signs; the experimental data support the latter model.

The paper study the curvature theory of a line-trajectory of constant Disteli-axis, according to the invariants of the axodes of moving body in spatial motion. A necessary and sufficient condition for a line-trajectory to be a constant Disteli-axis is derived. From which new proofs of the Disteli's formulae and concise explicit expressions of the inflection line congruence are directly obtained. The obtained explicit equations degenerate into a quadratic form, which can easily give a clear insight into the geometric properties of a line-trajectory of constant Disteli-axis with the theory of line congruence. The degenerated cases of the Burmester lines are discussed according to dual points having specific trajectories.

Purpose: Natural products are becoming gradually popular because of their health - related benefits and consumers' environmental awareness. However, research in this field remains limited, the present study attempts to address this research gap by measuring the influencing levels of the antecedents on natural product brand love. Research design, data and methodology: The study employs S-O-R (Stimulus - Organism - Response) framework together with Innovation Resistance Theory and Dual-Factor Theory to propose the research model, in which health and environmental stimuli influence both of facilitators and inhibitors of internal states or organism, and then shape purchase intention and brand love as consumers' responses. The mixed research method is designed with the application of structural equation model (SEM) to analyze 530 consumers collected by convenience sampling. Results: The results revealed that two chosen stimuli, including health awareness and environmental concern were positively related to both facilitators (natural content and regional products) and inhibitors (image barrier and usage barrier) and these four factors were significantly associated to purchase intention and brand love. Furthermore, purchase intention played the mediating role on the relationship between the four organisms and brand love. Conclusions: The originality of this paper is extend S-O-R theory into natural product context with mediating effects in an emerging economy. The findings make theoretical contribution on consumer behavior and managerial implication.

The multiprocessor system suffers interconnection network contension while exploiting the program's parallelism. A CC-NUMA system based on point-to-point link ring structure is one of the scalable architectures that expand the system bandwidth the number of processors/nodes increases. The dual-ring system is a simple solution to enhance the system performance and scalability by duplicating the links. In ring-based systems, an unbalanced transaction among links makes a hot spot on the interconnection network. In this situation, total system performance and scalability are bound by the hot spot of the links In this paper, I propose a dual-link CC-NUMA system, which alleviates the concentration of transactions among the links. By the simulation results, the proposed system significantly outperforms the single-ring and bidirection dual-ring systems. In addition, the proposed system show better distribution of transactions among the links that achieves an extended scalability.

Since NUMA architecture has to access remote memory an interconnection network determines the performance of CC-NUMA system Bus which has been used as a popular interconnection network has many limits to build a large-scale system because of the limited physical scalabilty and bandwidth Dual ring interconnection network composed of high speed point-to-point links is made up for resolving the defects of the bus for large-scale system But it also has a problem that the response latency is rapidly increased when many node are attached to snooping based CC-NUMA system with dual ring In this paper we propose a chordal ring architecture in order to overcome the problem of the dual ring on snooping based CC-NUMA system and design and efficient link controller adopted to this architecture. We also analyze the effects of chordal ring architecture on the system performance and the response latency by using probability driven simulator.

At the early stage of the development of high speed propulsion systems, the designers suffer from the lack of both the quantity and the quality of test data. In that situation, the associated uncertainties could not be modeled as probabilistic distribution since probabilistic modelling requires large amount of data. In this paper, instead, the information provided by experts based on their experience and engineering knowledge was used to model uncertainty using the evidence theory. In designing the DCR(Dual Combustion Ramjet) engine, the combustion efficiencies, not well understood and little data existing, are assumed to have been provided by experts. And the uncertainties are quantified by Evidence theory. The quantified uncertainties are incorporated into the optimization. The design variables, area of inlet and area of combustor exit, have been found while satisfying reliability margins of thrust and thermal choking. The results show a reasonable design of the engine under the uncertain circumstances.

This paper proposes a novel exposed-terminal-eliminated medium access control (ETE-MAC) protocol by combining channel reservation, collision avoidance and concurrent transmissions to improve multi-access performance of the multihop wireless networks. Based on the proposed slot scheduling scheme, each node senses the control channel (CCH) or the data channel (DCH) to accurately determine whether it can send or receive the corresponding packets without collisions. Slot reservation on the CCH can be simultaneously executed with data packet transmissions on the DCH. Therefore, it resolves the hidden-terminal type and the exposed-terminal type problems efficiently, and obtains more spatial reuse of channel resources. Concurrent packet transmissions without extra network overheads are maximized. An analytical model combining Markov model and M/G/1 queuing theory is proposed to analyze its performance. The performance comparison between analysis and simulation shows that the analytical model is highly accurate. Finally, simulation results show that, the proposed protocol obviously outperforms the link-directionality-based dual-channel MAC protocol (DCP) and WiFlex in terms of the network throughput and the average packet delay.
