자기 공명 영상에서 최근에 개발된 fast spin echo 영상법은 종래에 사용되었던 spin echo 영상법과 거의 같은 화질과 contrast를 제공하면서도 8-16배 이상 촬영 시간이 단축되어 임상적으로 많이 사용되는 촬영 방법 중의 하나로 자리 잡았다. 그러나 종래의 spin echo영상법과는 달리, 동시에 spin밀도 영상과T 강조 영상을 제공하는 dual echo 영상법은 fast spin echo의 경우, 촬영 시간이 2배로 늘어나기 때문에 그 중요한 장점을 잃어 버리게 되었다. 본 논문에서는 dual echo를 동시에 얻기 위한 현재의 fast spin echo 영상법의 이와 같은 단점을 해결하는 새로운 영상법을 제안한다. 새로운 영상법은 기존의 fast spin echo와 거의 같은 화질을 제공하면서도 dual echo 영상을 얻는데 추가 촬영 시간을 요구하지 않는다. 이를 입증하기 위하여 인체 실험을 수행하였고 그 결과를 기존의 방법으로 얻은 영상과 비교함으로써 그 유용성을 보인다.

As the γ-ray energy increases, a reconstructed image becomes noisy and blurred due to the penetration of the γ-ray through the coded mask. Therefore, the thickness of the coded mask was increased for high energy regions, resulting in severely decreased the performance of the detection efficiency due to self-collimation by the mask. In order to overcome the limitation, a modified uniformly redundant array γ-ray imaging system using dual anti-mask method was developed, and its performance was compared and evaluated in high-energy radiation region. In the dual anti-mask method, the two shadow images, including the subtraction of background events, can simultaneously contribute to the reconstructed image. Moreover, the reconstructed images using each shadow image were integrated using a hybrid update maximum likelihood expectation maximization (h-MLEM). Using the quantitative evaluation method, the performance of the dual anti-mask method was compared with the previously developed collimation methods. As the shadow image which was subtracted the background events leads to a higher-quality reconstructed image, the reconstructed image of the dual anti-mask method showed high performance among the three collimation methods. Finally, the quantitative evaluation method proves that the performance of the dual anti-mask method was better than that of the previously reconstruction methods.

A parallel control algorithm of thyristor dual-converter power system for the DC power supply of railway is proposed. The circulating current and current imbalance generated during parallel operation can be limited to control the output voltage of each power system by using the proposed parallel control algorithm. The proposed control algorithm can also eliminate output current sensor to achieve the same output response without additional costs. The validity of the proposed algorithm is verified through simulation and experiment.

본 논문은 가시선 (line-of-sight) 성분이 지배적인 채널 환경에서 다중 사용자로의 정보 전송을 위해 이중 편파를 이용하는 다중 안테나 시스템을 제안한다. 이 시스템은 공간 및 편파 자원을 효율적으로 활용하여 기존의 단일 편파 안테나를 이용하는 MU-MIMO(multi-user multiple input multiple output) 시스템 보다 향상된 총 전송률을 제공할 수 있음을 보인다

This paper presents a power supply system with pre-regulator using zero voltage switching (ZVS) interleaving two-transistor forward converter for high input voltage and high power application. A SMPS has a advantage that a good efficiency, small size and light weight but has a noise problem. A linear power supply system has a advantage that a good stability, low ripple and noise but has a disadvantage that a big size, low efficiency and heat problem. To alleviate these problems, we propose an power supply system using dual ZVS interleaving two-transistor forward pre-regulator. The proposed converter is verified on a 1kW, 50kHz experimental prototype.

Wireless communication chipsets have fixed transmission rate and communication distance. Although there are many kinds of chipsets with throughput and distance purpose, they cannot support various types of wireless applications. This paper provides theoretic research results in order to support various wireless applications requiring different throughput, delayed quality-of-service (QoS), and different communication distances by using a wireless communication chipset with fixed rate and transmission power. As a performance metric, the probability for a data frame that successfully receives at a desired receiver is adopted. Based on this probability, the average number of transmission in order to make a successful frame transmission is derived. Equations are utilized to analyze the performance of a single-hop with channel coding and a dual-hop without error correction matter transmission system. Our results revealed that single-hop transmission assisted by channel coding could extend its communication distance. However, communication range extending effect of the single-hop system was limited. Accordingly, dual-hop transmission is needed to overcome the communication distance limit of a chipset.

In this paper we describe the design of a Dual Power Controller(DPC) for Power Control System(PCS) in Nuclear Power Plant. The PCS also provides information regarding rod motion, rod position, and status of the Rod Control System. It has Hot/Stand-by type, and also has the function of fault detection for controller itself and power modules. We have implemented the various functions with the dual Power Controller. Due to the developed DPC, we are assured that the commmecial use by this controller be made before long.

Ceramic metal halide lamps have been widely used due to long lifetime, high luminous efficiency and good colour rendering. In this paper, we developed dimming control system of electronic ballast for 70W ceramic metal halide lamp by using 1-10V interface. The proposed electronic ballast is consists of EMI filter, Full-wave rectifier, Active PFC, DBI(Dual Buck Inverter), Igniter and control circuit.It enables to supply both low-frequency rectangular wave voltage and current to the lamp by using DBI(Dual Bcuk Inverter) structure. By using 1-10V interface, the system that able to dimming the lamp is demonstrated by P-spice simulation and experimental results.

The definition of the Dual system is that the total seismic force resistance is to be provided by the combination of the moment frame and the shear walls or braced frames in proportion to their stiffness and the moment frame shall be capable of resisting at least 25% of the design force in Korean Building Code 2005 (KBC 2005). But, the definition of moment frame is ambiguous whether the moment frame include the imaginary columns in the shear wall (Case I) or include only the columns outside the shear wall (Case II). 60-story RC building was designed as dual system for Case I and Case II, and the required strength and reinforcement are compared. Moment and axial capacity of the shear wall of Case II decreased about 5% due to the absence of the column in the shear wall. The requirement of upper and bottom reinforcement of slab in Case II increased 13% and 40%, respectively, when compared to those of Case I. The required longitudinal reinforcement in columns for Case II is about 1.5 times larger than that of Case I.

본 논문에서는 현재 위성 DMB 국내 표준으로 채택되어 있는 System E 방식의 Dual Mode 신호 전송에 따른 신호변환시 Time Delay측정 방법에 대해서 제안을 하였다. 제안된 방식의 경우 아날로그 방식이 아닌 디지털 방식으로 정확한 Time Delay 측정이 가능하다. 그리고 위성 DMB Gap Filler System의 입 출력 단자를 통하여 측정이 가능함으로 측정값에 대한 신뢰성 확보가 가능하며 자동측정 방식임으로 측정시 발생될 수 있는 Human Error를 최소화 할 수 있다는 장점을 가지고 있다.
