An experiment on the culture of laver, Porphyra tenera, was carried out from September 26, 1965 to February 12, 1966 at a laver farm on the coast of Gae-do, Hwacheong-myeon, Yeocheon-gun, Jeonranam-do, using 'Sae-ol-bal' (triple-knotted blind) laver bed, resulting in the following data: 1. 'Sae-ol-bal' laver, bed was less destroyed compared to ordinary (dual knotted blind) laver bed, the destruction rate being $9.8\%$ in 'Sae-ol-bal' laver bed, while $35.3\%$ in ordinary laver bed (Table 5). 2. The quantity of laver yield is the greatest on the edge-part, the next on the basal part, and the smallest on the middle part of the 'Sae-ol-bal' laver bed (Table 6, Figs. $7\~8$). 3. The ordinary laver bed may yield better harvest on the calm farm but 'Sae-ol-bal' laver bed yields better harvest at a farm where the destruction of bed is remarkable by wind and wave action.
There is a increasingly growing emphasis on health promotion, disease prevention and optimum functioning for peaple including the chronically ill and disabled. According as the purpose of the nursing is the promotion of health, the value and belief of heal th within the nursing paradigm need to be defined in every culture. The paradigm components must be explored for meaning given by the aged in their traditional thought and philosophy, The problem addressed by this qualitative study was how the aged recognize value and belief of health, which contribute to the development of Korean nursing theory. Theoretical support for the study was from Leininger's cultural care theory and Korean philosophy and traditional oriented thought. Literature review refers to literature on the aged, health of the aged, and definition and meaning of general health concept. Grounded theory methodology guied the research methodology and analysis to build a substantive theory. The informants were 119 from a variety of social levels and family patterns; traditionally the aged are responsible for the health. The concentrated interviewing period was from may to june, 1995 ; the interviews were done by the researcher with two supporter and most were recorded on audio tape. Result from analysis of base datas follows; The value and belief of health that emerged from the categories and properties were the physical stability, the stability of mind, the stability of mind and body, the smoothness (harmony) of body function, the family concord, and the perfection of self. These values and beliefs of health are affected by the cosmic dual forces thought is based on the Great Absolute, family principle of confucian scholar, and Buddism. Among the values and beliefs of health, family concord is found out Korean culture peculiarities. These values and beliefs are all integrated into the idea of health. The study provided implications for nursing theory research, education, and practice change and development.

Since COVID-19's 1st pandemic came in February 2020, the demand for telemedicine grew greatly that in most countries the deregulation for telemedicine policy have been implemented in more countries. Also in Korea, with the name of 'Non-face-to-face Treatment' telemedicine began to be approved. Telemedicine having strength in chronic disease management has been effective in more and more specialties along with the recent development of ICT that it is expected to contribute to the improvement of the quality of healthcare service and creation of new treatment model. On the contrary it may also exacerbate the distortion in the hospital healthcare service industry in Korea, which is the excessive tipping toward large hospitals. So the dual promotion policy approach in which the settlement of family doctors system extensively utilizing telemedicine for chronic disease management and the support for tertiary hospitals and hospitals focusing on treating foreign patients to provide quality service using telemedicine technology are pursued simultaneously are recommended.
This qualitative research was designed to explore the use of housing among Korean Chinese people in Harbin, China. Focusing on the use which based on the epistemology of housing adjustment, this was particularly designed to examine its cultural assimilation and acculturation on the way of life course, it employed the in-depth interview on the oral history of 5 interviewees in their 60s and 70s, individualized interviews were conducted from May 28 to 31 in 2010. Key findings were summarized as follows; 1. The free market reform in China resulted in privatization that allowed respondents to become homeowners, and the ownership was viewed as part of family asset centered upon a sense of solidarity. 2. Although homeowners in multi-story houses were responsible to decorate interior spaces, the common features in using interior spaces were found: entrance had no thresholds; kitchen was small, lack of storage cabinets, tile-flooring; washers were installed inside bathroom; and newly built apartment didn't have proper space to store Korean fermented foods. It was observed that housing adaptation outweighed housing adjustment. Those who used to live in Chinese houses with indoor-wearing-shoes or Russian houses with indoor-wearing-slippers were receptive to the use of dining table and bed, and the community heating system discouraged the use of individual electric water heater because of high electricity cost. 3. In daily life, eating habit wasn't much changed to the Chinese style, meals were shared, dish sterilizer was popular, and Kimchi fridge wasn't used. Because of the influence of the Chinese culture, such Korean traditions as ancestral rites and bedroom allocation tradition faded away, but traditional family values remained unchanged. In conclusion, Korean Chinese people experience normative housing deficits and adaptation selectively incurred. It's implied that residential design meets the needs resulting from the dual culture in terms of cultural assimilation and acculturation.
The purpose of this in vitro study was to evaluate the sealing ability of three sealers(Sealapex, Pulp canal sealer, AH26) used with continuous wave method using an anaerobic bacterial leakage model. 53 extracted human teeth with straight and single canals were prepared with crown-down pressureless technique using .04, .06 taper Profile(Maillefer, Swiss). Master apical file was maintained as #35 K-file. All canals of the experimental teeth were obturated with continuous wave method using System B(Analytic technology, U.S.A.) The teeth were randomly divided into three experimental groups of 15 and two control groups of 4. Experimental group 1 was obturated with Sealapex and group 2 with Pulp canal sealer, and group 3 with AH26. A dual chamber anaerobic bacterial leakage model was assembled. Brain heart infusion with yeast extract, hemin, menadion, and the chromogenic indicator bromocresol purple was used as the culture broth for Fusobacterium nucleatum(VPI 10197), The specimens were incubated in anaerobic chamber at $37^{\circ}C$ and were observed every 2 to 3 clays, The coronal leakage was evaluated through the color change of culture broth in lower chamber for 60 days. The results were as follows: 1. The incidence of bacterial leakage in group 1 (Sealapex group was 80%, 53% in group 2 (Pulp canal sealer), 27% in group 3 (AH26). 2. There were statistically significant differences in leakage scores between group 1 and group 2, and between group 1 and group 3, respectively. (P<0.05) 3. There was no significantly difference in leakage score between group 2 and group 3. (P>0 05)
This paper reveals the double meaning of the temporal background and spatial background on Shimchungga. In addition, Namgyeong reminds us of Seoul, the capital of Joseon Dynasty. Shimchungga is based on the customs and manners of the late Joseon Dynasty, and it is embodied by borrowing time and space from China. It is recalled Joseon's as backgrounds of China First of all, Namgyeong on Shimchungga is the ultimate attraction of the free imagination of the ordinary people as well as Shin, Jae-hyo in the late Joseon Dynasty.
The purpose of this study is to expand satirical expressions that appear in a wide range of arts into fashion and to analyse and present satirical expressions that appear in contemporary fashion through the collections of Thom Browne. Theoretical examination of satirical concepts were made of domestic and foreign academic theses, dissertations, precious studies, and publications related to satire. Analysis was conducted on cases in which satirical expressions were applied in literature, painting, sculpture, and fashion. Based on these studies, analysis was conducted on satirical expressions appearing in Thom Browne's work. Material was gathered from collection reviews, interview articles, professional books, and internet photo material from professional fashion magazines encompassing 16 years of Thom Browne's collections officially recorded in the international fashion magazine 'Vogue', ranging from the 2006 S/S collection to the 2021 S/S collection. From this, a total of 1,753 photos were collected as data. Characteristics of satirical expression were analyzed and the results were as follows. A fluid reconstruction of 'gender fluid', dual meanings of metaphorical allegories, playful expressions of visual wit, constructions made of overlapped disassembled material, and borrowing of morphological distortion were all identified. Accordingly, satirical approaches as social aspects and objects in the flow of modern thought appear as positive forms based in humor that hope to be improved. This study anticipate the concept of satire will expand into a positive form as a new direction of fashion.
Before the tenth century, the dress of elite women in and around China often reflected "Han" Chinese fashions and preferences. In funerary paintings and relief sculptures of Sogdian and Xianbei couples from the sixth century, for example, women wear "Han" Chinese-style clothing. Even in the Tang dynasty (ca. 618-907), when exchange with Central Asia via overland Silk Road trade impacted the styles and patterning of elite dress and men incorporated clear Central Asian attributes into their dress, elite women in the Tang sphere wore recognizably Tang fashions. Chinese-style dress in these centuries clearly conveyed cultural import and, likely, political power, especially after the founding of the Tang dynasty. However, the straightforward borrowing of Tang women's dress shifted in the Khitan Liao dynasty (ca. 907-1125). The Liao, in contrast to other states that shared a border with China in previous centuries, saw themselves as political equals to the Song dynasty (ca. 960-1278) court in the south. The Liao court was interested in Song customs and culture and incorporated artistic motifs and practices from the Song court. However, the Liao courtly idiom was never fully subsumed into the greater world of the Song - rather, the Liao used facets of Song courtly culture for their own ends. One way this is manifested is through the dual administrative system, a bureaucratic organization that, among other things, regulated and distinguished between who was permitted to wear Khitan and non-Khitan dress. In this paper, I will examine the material evidence from funerary contexts for how the dress of elite Liao women both engaged with the dress of the Song, while also maintaining a certain amount of cultural autonomy. Through their dress, elite Liao women signaled clear messages about their status, identity, and difference to their Song counterparts.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the recyclability of Shenlong in China using SWOT. The main analysis results are as follows. This thesis examines the difficulties of utilizing the narrative and music of Pansori: 판소리 in Changguk: 창극. For this examination, I consider that the reason for the difficulty of making Changguk is the difference between Pansori and Changguk as the genres. Most of the Changguk based on the traditional five Pansori works perform the narration and songs of Pansori literally. However, the original narrative of Pansori has a distinctive dual structure since the formation of its first and second half is created separately. As the drama genre visualizes the story and emphasizes the consistency of action, unlike Pansori, the duality of the original narrative can be seen as the inconsistency of the action. In addition, since the sounds of the original Pansori are rather explanatory than dramatic even in the climax scenes of Jeokbyeok battlefields, it is difficult to produce dramatic scenes in Changguk. The voices of the military, not in the original works, play important roles in revealing the hidden theme effectively in Changguk. However It is impossible to relocate the original text of Pansori into Changguk, as even the voices of the military lack verisimilitude in terms of narrative. Changguk can only be developed as its own work by actively researching and dismantling Pansori .
