미세채널내 증발을 고려한 두 유체간 열전달현상에 대한 해석적인 연구 (An Analytical Study on a Heat Transfer Mechanism with Boiling Effect between Two Fluids in a Mini-channel)

  • 미세채널을 갖는 증발형 열교환기의 효율을 평가하기 위하여, 공기의 온도와 물의 온도와 같은 열교환기의 상태값들을 계산하기위한 관계식들이 문제를 단순화하기 위한 몇 가지 가정을 적용한 Navier-Stokes 방정식으로부터 유도되었다. 미세채널내부는 물의 상태에 따라 3가지 영역으로 나누었다. 이 연구의 결과로써, 미세유로를 갖는 증발형 열교환기의 증발시작시점과 건조완료점을 계산하는 방정식이 제시되었다. 본 연구결과는 증발효과를 이용하는 미세채널형 열교환기의 설계, 성능예측 및 시험결과 분석 등에 효과적으로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

열처리에 의한 케일 새싹의 기능성물질 축적 (Heat Shock Treatments Induce the Accumulation of Phytochemicals in Kale Sprouts)

  • 이번 연구는 새싹채소 재배 시 고온의 물을 이용한 열처리가 케일 새싹의 항산화물질과 항암성물질 등과 같은 기능성물질 축적에 영향을 주는지 확인하고자 수행되었다. 실험I 에서는 파종 후 4일째 40, 50, $60^{\circ}C$의 증류수가 담긴 항온조에 각각 10, 30, 60초 동안 침지하여 열처리 하였고, 실험II 에서는 $50^{\circ}C$의 증류수에 각각 10, 20, 30, 45, 60초 침지처리 하였다. 열처리 한 케일 새싹은 다시 정상적인 생육 환경에서 2일 동안 추가적으로 재배되었다. 열처리 전, 후에 생체 중, 건물중, 전해질 유출 정도, 총 페놀 농도, 항산화도, 총 플라보노이드 농도, 페닐알라닌 암모니아-리아제 활성, 글루코시놀레이트 함량을 측정하였다. 실험I의 결과, 열처리 후 2일째 대조구에 비해 모든 처리구의 생체중, 건물중이 감소되었으며, 특히 $60^{\circ}C$ 열처리가 40, $50^{\circ}C$의 열처리보다 그 정도가 심했다. 세포 파괴에 의한 전해질 유출 정도 또한 $60^{\circ}C$에서 가장 높게 나타났다. 총 페놀 농도는 $50^{\circ}C$의 열처리에서 대조구에 비해 유의적으로 증가했으며 항산화도 또한 비슷한 경향을 보였다. 실험 II의 결과 $50^{\circ}C$ 열처리는 실험I의 결과와 같이 생체중의 감소를 보였지만 그 정도는 크지 않았으며 건물중에서는 대조구와 유의적 차이가 없었다. 열처리 후 2일째 모든 처리구는 대조구에 비해 유의적으로 높은 총 페놀 축적을 유도하였다. $50^{\circ}C$에서 20초 이상의 열처리는 대조구에 비해 약 1.5배 이상 총 페놀 농도를 증가시켰으며, 항산화도는 대조구에 비해 약 1.2배 유의적으로 높았고, 총 플라보노이드 농도 또한 대조구에 비해 높은 수준을 나타냈다. 페닐알라닌 암모니아-리아제의 활성은 열처리 24시간째에 대조구보다 모든 처리구에서 높게 나타나, 열처리가 이차대사산물의 생합성을 유도하는 것을 알 수 있었다. 열처리 후 2일째 글루코시놀레이트의 함량은 20초 열처리에서 유의적으로 가장 높은 값을 나타냈다. 따라서, 케일 새싹 재배 시 열처리는 항산화 및 항암물질과 같은 기능성물질의 축적을 유도하여 케일 새싹의 영양학적 품질향상을 도모할 수 있는 잠재적인 수단임을 확인할 수 있었다.

원지의 사이징 특성이 도공액의 침투에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of Base Paper Sizing on Coating Penetration into Paper)

  • The influences of heat treatment and surface sizing on coating penetration were studied using two types of commercial base papers. Dry oven was used for heat treatment and laboratory rod draw down coater was used for surface sizing and coating application. Coating penetration was evaluated by measuring the roughness of the backside of coating layer. The backside of the coating was exposed by dissolving the fibers in a cupriethylenedimine(CED) solution. The results showed that both heat treatment and surface sizing were the effective methods to increase sizing degree and to reduce coating penetration.

응축압력 변화에 따른 R407C의 응축특성에 관한 연구 (An Experimental Study on Condensation Characteristics at Various Condensation Pressure of R407C)

  • R407C is considered as alternative refrigerant of R22 for air conditioners. Experimental investigation is made to study the condensation heat transfer characteristics of slit fin-tube heat exchanger using alternative refrigerant, R407C. Experiments are carried out at condensation pressure of 2110 kPa and 1943 kPa with the degree of superheat of 1$0^{\circ}C$ and mass flux varying from 150 to 250 kg/$m^2$s for refrigerant side. The inlet air condition is dry bulb temperature of 35$^{\circ}C$, relative humidity of 50% and air velocity varying from 0.8 to 1.6 m/s. Experiments show that pressure drop gets smaller at a higher condensation pressure especially when condensation pressure is raised from 1943 to 2110 kPa. Heat transfer rate gets smaller at a lower condensation pressure in the range of experimental condition.

  • Korea residential housing generally use wet floor heating system 'Ondol' which consist of insulation cushioning, lightweight foamed concrete, hot water pipe and mortar on top of reinforced concrete slab. Wet floor heating system's installation process is too complicate and difficult to supervise field for continuing assurance quality. Also, this method has a huge impact on the progress of construction because it take a long time to cure finishing mortar and lightweight foamed concrete. Therefore, it is considered a disturbance factor of reduction of construction duration for enhancing competitiveness. In this study, we conducted an experiment about the radiant heat performance and temperature difference on upper panel of rolled dry floor heating systems which is jointly developed by Kolon global and Sumisho Metalex for remodeling housing, studio apartment and the urban-life housing.

순도를 달리한 알루미나 세라믹스의 마멸과정 및 이의 기구에 관한 연구 (A Study on The Wear Process and Wear Mechanism of the Alumina Ceramics with Different Alumina Purity)

  • The present study was undertaken to investigate the dry wear process and wear mechanism of the alumina ceramics in the purity variation which are used for the mechanical seal, roll, liner and dies. The wear test was carried out under different experimental condition using the wear testing device and in which the annular surface rubbed on dry sliding condition various sliding speed, contact pressure and sliding distance. In case of alumina purity 95%, there was speed range which wear loss increased rapidly owing to enlargement of heat impact force and temperature rise of wear surface. According as the alumina purity increased, wear loss decreased but alumina purity 85% with much void and defect had the most wear loss than any other alumina purity. The friction coefficient of sliding initial stage of wear curves has a large value but according to increase of sliding distance, it decreased owing to drop of the shear strength of wear surfaces.

  • In recently, polishing tile(porcelain homogeneous polished tile) was used in the construction field as a finishing material. But, there happened some problems such as tile exfoliation by construction condition in early ages. Also, in the dry wall system which used to lightweight wall, for use of polishing tile on dry wall, the examination of adhesive stability of polishing tile is needed. In this Paper, adhesive strength of Polishing tile was investigated by tile bond types on gypsum board and non asbestos board coated by tar-urethane and polymer modified cementitious waterproofing membrane(Series I). Then, the effect of heat stress and vibration was estimated on gypsum and non asbestos board(Series II).

건식 필름 적층 성형기에서 고온 롤러의 열해석 (Thermal Analysis of Hot Roller in a Dry Film Laminator)

  • The thermal analysis of the hot roller in a dry film laminator is studied numerically by steady-state two-dimensional heat transfer. In the laminating process for PDP glass or PCB, the temperature distributions in a hot roller are presented considering the effects of the roller rotation speed and the inner and outer radii of the roller. The results show that the temperature distributions are strongly dependent on Peclet number. If Pe number becomes larger, the iso-thermal lines are more concentric about the rotating axis and the temperature difference on the hot roller surface decreases exponentially. It also shows that if the contact angle between the roller and the film becomes smaller the temperature difference becomes smaller. However, the changes of the rollers inner or outer radius have little effect on the temperature difference.

  • An automation process of filter unit is presented for the application of the assembling procedure and dry furnace work. By that automation procedure, it is expected to enhance working environment such as reducing laboring load, harmful gas, and burning scald. Furthermore, this automation process also minimizes via standardization of manufacturing process so that it may increase productivity and reliability. An automation process of filter unit is presented for the application of the assembling procedure and dry furnace work. Filter automation process also gives a good quality and productivity by simplifying to only one line from the complicated process such as filter cutting$\rightarrow$ adhering$\rightarrow$fabricating in a very small space. It is found that a new conceptual design of dry furnace shows the better quality like uniform heat distribution compared to the conventional design. It is also found that the present design gives a better working environment by adding cooling system.

볼 엔드밀 가공환경조건이 고경도 강재의 고속절삭특성에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Ball End Mill Cutting Environments on High Speed Machinability of Hardened Tool Steel)

  • This research conducted milling tests to study effects of cutting environment conditions of ball end milts on the characteristics of high speed milling cutting process. KP4 steels and STD11 heat treated steels were used as the workpiece and WC-Co ball end mill tools with TiAIN coated were utilized in the cutting tests. Dry cutting without coolant and semidry cutting using botanical oil coolant by the MQL(Minimum Quantity Lubricant) device were conducted. Cutting forces, tool wear and surface roughness were measured in the cutting tests. Results showed that MQL spray cutting of KP4 and hardened STD11 specimens produced better surface quality and wear performance than dry cutting did.
