Mathematical Model of Two-Degree-of-Freedom Direct Drive Induction Motor Considering Coupling Effect

  • The two-degree-of-freedom direct drive induction motor, which is capable of linear, rotary and helical motion, has a wide application in special industry such as industrial robot arms. It is inevitable that the linear motion and rotary motion generate coupling effect on each other on account of the high integration. The analysis of this effect has great significance in the research of two-degree-of-freedom motors, which is also crucial to realize precision control of them. The coupling factor considering the coupling effect is proposed and addressed by 3D finite element method. Then the corrected mathematical model is presented by importing the coupling factor. The results from it are verified by 3D finite element model and prototype test, which validates the corrected mathematical model.

  • In this paper, the induction motor bearing fault diagnosis system using current signals which are measured by over-sampling method is presented. In the case of inverter fed motor drive unlike line-driven motor drive, that make a lot of noise which can cause a wrong fault signals because of PWM(pulse width modulation) voltage. So, the current signals for fault diagnosis need very precise and high resolution information, which means this system demand additional hardware such as low pass filter, high resolution ADC system and so on to use fault diagnosis system. Therefore, the proposed over-sampling method is expected to contribute to low cost fault diagnosis system even though previous inverter fed motor drive without any additional hardware. In order to confirm the presented algorithms, various experiments for bearing faults are tested and the line current spectrum of each faulty situation using park transformation is compared with a FFT results.

  • 본 논문은 교류전류 센서, 전압센서 및 엔코더를 포함한 PWM인버터-유도전동기 구동장치 전체를 네트워크로 제어하는 시스템을 구현한다. 네트워크 기반 유도전동기제어는 공장자동화에 중요한 이슈로 되고 있으나, 센서와 제어기 사이에 센서데이터의 통신기연에 의해 전동기 구동시스템의 안정성을 저하시키는 문제가 있다. 따라서 동기신호 및 센서데이터의 예측기법을 사용하여 네트워크에 의한 센서데이터의 시간지연을 최소화시키는 기법을 제시한다. DSP를 사용한 실험을 통하여 제시한 기법의 타당성을 확인한다.

Modeling and Experimental Verification of ANN Based Online Stator Resistance Estimation in DTC-IM Drive

  • Direct Torque controlled induction motor (DTC-IM) drives use stator resistance of the motor for stator flux estimation. So, stator resistance estimation properly is very important for a stable and effective operation of the induction motor. Stator resistance variations because of changing in temperature make DTC operation difficult mainly at low speed. A method based on artificial neural network (ANN) to estimate the stator resistance online of IM for DTC drive is modeled and verified in this paper. To train the neural network a back propagation algorithm is used. Weight adjustment of neural network is done by back propagating the error signal between measured and estimated stator current. An extensive simulation has been carried out in MATLAB/SIMULINK to prove the efficacy of the proposed stator resistance estimator. The simulation & experimental result reveals that proposed method is able to obtain precise torque and flux control at low speed.

  • A novel inverter fault-tolerant control scheme is proposed to drive brushless DC motor. A fault-tolerant inverter and its three fault-tolerant schemes (i.e., phase A fault-tolerant, phase B fault-tolerant, and phase C fault-tolerant) are analyzed. Eight voltage vectors are summarized and a voltage vector selection table is used in the control scheme to improve the midpoint current of the split capacitors. A stator flux observer is proposed. The observer can improve flux estimation, which does not require any speed adaptation mechanism and is immune to speed estimation error. Global stability of the flux observer is guaranteed by the Lyapunov stability analysis. A novel stator resistance estimator is incorporated into the sensorless drive to compensate for the effects of stator resistance variation. DC offset effects are mitigated by introducing an integral component in the observer gains. Finally, a control system based on the control scheme is established. Simulation and experiment results show that the method is correct and feasible.

  • CIO는 정보시스템부서의 관리자가 아니라 경영자로서의 역할을 하도록 요구하고 있다. 이는 점차 CIO 역할이 확대되고 있음을 나타내는 것으로 이에 따라 CIO의 리더십 스타일이 IS 성과에 영향을 미칠 수 있다. 이러한 관점에서 CIO 리더십 스타일과 IS 성과와의 관계를 알아보고자 하였다. CIO 리더십 스타일을 추진목표와 추진방법에 따라 나누고 이들 간에 어떠한 차이가 있는지를 설문지 기법을 사용하여 실증적으로 분석하였다. 리더십 스타일 분류는 리더십의 균형성에 의하여 각각 3가지로 분류하였다. 결과적으로 전략적 추진과 인화적 방법이 다른 스타일에 비하여 대체로 효과적임을 나타내었다.

  • The EV electric vehicle market is growing rapidly worldwide. An electric vehicle means a vehicle that uses energy charged through an electricity source as power. The precision of the press is important to mass-produce the drive motor, which is a key component of the electric vehicle. The size of the driving motor is increasing, and The size of the mold is also growing. In this study, the precision of large high-speed presses for mass production of driving motors was measured. A study was conducted on the measurement method of press and the analysis of measurement data. A drive motor is a component that transmits power by converting electrical energy into kinetic energy. EV driven motors have key material properties to improve efficiency. The material properties are the thickness of the material. As a method for improving performance, use a 0.2mm thin steel sheet. Mold is also becoming larger. As the mold grows, the size of the high-speed press for mass production of the driving motor is also increasing. Also, the precision of the press is the most important because it uses a thin iron plate material. So the importance of large press precision is being emphasized.   • In this paper, a cable-driven endoscopic manipulator (CEM) is designed for the Chinese latest compact fusion reactor. The whole CEM arm is more than 3000 mm long and includes end vision tools, an endoscopic manipulator/control system, a feeding system, a drag chain system, support systems, a neutron shield door, etc. It can cover a range of ±45° of the vacuum chamber by working in a wrap-around mode, etc., to meet the need for observation at any position and angle. By placing all drive motors in the end drive box via a cable drive, cooling, and radiation protection of the entire robot can be facilitated. To address the CEM motion control problem, a discrete trajectory tracking method is proposed. By restricting each joint of the CEM to the target curve through segmental fitting, the trajectory tracking control is completed. To avoid the joint rotation angle overrun, a joint limit rotation angle optimization method is proposed based on the equivalent rod length principle. Finally, the CEM simulation system is established. The rationality of the structure design and the effectiveness of the motion control algorithm are verified by the simulation.

The objective of this study is to find performance evaluating method for variable-speed drive pump. In order to evaluate the variable-speed pump performance energy saving rate for the variable-speed pump is applied and compared with that of constant-speed pump.

  • This paper describes a control for the high performance induction motor drive system with a wide speed operating range and proposes a robust control method independent of motor parameter variation. For the operation below the rated speed, the high performance control is achieved by using the indirect field-oriented control with a speed sensor. In the high speed regain, the field weakening region with a large variation in motor parameters, the motor drive system can obtain the robustness to motor parameter variation by switchover to the direct field-oriented control. Also, the sensorless speed control using estimated speed is achieved in very high speed region that the utilization of speed sensor pulses is limited. And from experiments using high performance 32bit DSP for 2.2[kW] and 22[kW] laboratory induction motor drive systems, it is verified that the proposed opration algorithm provided a good performance.
