  • This paper proposes efficiency optimization control of IPMSM drive using hybrid intelligent controller(HIC). The design of the speed controller based on fuzzy-neural network that is implemented using fuzzy control and neural network. The design of the current based on adaptive fuzzy control using model reference and the estimation of the speed based on neural network using ANN controller. In order to maximize the efficiency in such applications, this paper proposes the optimal control method of the armature current. The optimal current can be decided according to the operating speed and the load conditions. This paper proposes speed control of IPMSM using ALM-FNN, current control of model reference adaptive fuzzy control(MTC) and estimation of speed using ANN controller. The proposed control algorithm is applied to IPMSM drive system controlled HIC, the operating characteristics controlled by efficiency optimization control are examined in detail.

서보 드라이브 성능 향상을 위한 AC 서보 전동기의 적응형 전류 제어 (An Adoptive Current Control Scheme of an AC Servo Motor for Performance Improvement of a Servo Drive)

  • 서보 드라이브의 성능 향상을 위해 AC 서보 전동기의 MRAC (Model Reference Adaptive Control) 기반 적응 전류 제어 기법이 제시된다. 인버터 구동 전류 제어 기법 중 예측형 전류 제어 기법은 이상적인 과도 응답 및 정상 상태 응답을 주지만, 전동기 파라미터 변화 시 정상상태 응답 성능이 저하된다. 이러한 제한 점을 극복하기 위해 파라미터 변화에 의한 외란이 MRAC 기법에 의해 추정되어 전향 제어에 의해 보상된다. 제안된 방식은 기존의 외란 추정 방식과 달리 관측기 구성을 위한 인버터의 상전압 측정을 필요로 하지 않는다. 제안된 적응 제어 방식의 점근안정성과 효과적으로 서보 드라이브에 적용될 수 있음이 입증된다. 제안된 방식이 DSP TMS320C31을 이용하여 구현되고 유용성이 시뮬레이션과 실험을 통해 입증된다.

Online Parameter Estimation for Wireless Power Transfer Systems Using the Tangent of the Reflected Impedance Angle

  • An online estimation method for wireless power transfer (WPT) systems is presented without using any measurement of the secondary side or the load. This parameter estimation method can be applied with a controlling strategy that removes both the receiving terminal controller and the wireless communication. This improves the reliability of the system while reducing its costs and size. In a wireless power transfer system with an LCCL impedance matching circuit under a rectifier load, the actual load value, voltage/current and mutual inductance can be reflected through reflected impedance measuring at the primary side. The proposed method can calculate the phase angle tangent value of the secondary loop circuit impedance via the reflected impedance, which is unrelated to the mutual inductance. Then the load value can be determined based on the relationships between the load value and the secondary loop impedance. After that, the mutual inductance and transfer efficiency can be computed. According to the primary side voltage and current, the load voltage and current can also be detected in real-time. Experiments have verified that high estimation accuracy can be achieved with the proposed method. A single-controller based on the proposed parameter estimation method is established to achieve constant current control over a WPT system.

  • A Current Error Space Phasor (CESP) based hysteresis controller with online computation of the boundary for two-level inverter fed Induction Motor (IM) drives is presented in this paper. The stator voltages estimated along the ${\alpha}$-and ${\beta}$-axes and the orthogonal current error components of the motor are used in the online computation of the hysteresis boundary. All of the inherent benefits of space phasor based hysteresis controllers such as its quick dynamic response and nearby voltage vector switching are present in the proposed scheme with the added benefit of suppressing switching frequency variations. The similarity in the frequency spectrum of the phase voltage obtained at the output of the inverter using the proposed scheme and Bus Clamping Pulse Width Modulation (BCPWM) based drive is justified with the help of extensive MATLAB SIMULINK simulations. The controller is experimentally verified with a three phase, 2.2 kW IM drive for steady state and transient conditions and the obtained results match the simulation results.

  • In this paper the low cost sensorless control circuit for a PM synchronous motor without the mechanical rotor position sensors is presented. The sensorless control algorithm and position detection circuit for the sinusoidal current wave drive is more complex than that of the rectangular current wave drive. The proposed position sensing circuit is composed of an operational amplifier and several passive elements. The design procedures for getting the optimal parameters for the position sensing circuit are presented. The performance of the proposed algorithm is verified through the simulations and experiments.

It is useful to check static and dynamic rigidity with relation between lost motion and current of rotor.   • 본 논문에서는 제어 시지연을 갖는 고성능 PI 전류제어기에 대한 새로운 예측전류 적용방법을 모색한다. 먼저 선형 영구자석 동기전동기를 사용한 선형 서보 제어시스템에 존재하는 불가피한 전류예측 오차원인을 분석하고, 전류예측 오차와 제어 시지연을 고려한 전류제어 성능 개선 방법으로 수정된 동기좌표계 비간섭 PI 전류제어기를 제안한다. 그리고 시뮬레이션 및 실험 결과를 통하여 제안된 전류제어기가 서보 제어시스템에 존재하는 전류예측 오차와 제어 시지연이 있는 경우에도 개선된 전류제어응답을 보임을 검증하였다.

Two-Level 전압 인가에 의한 전자접촉기 구동 전력 저감 (Reduce Power of Magnetic Contactor using the Two-Level Apply Voltage)

  • Currently, due to the rapid increase in power demand and the increase in capacity of power converters, the capacity of electromagnetic contactors is also increasing, and the burden on SMPS for the power that can drive them is increasing. Although the initial starting operation current of an electromagnetic contactor is significantly larger than the holding current for maintaining contact, most electromagnetic contactors apply the same voltage as the initial starting operation. An electromagnetic contactor must continuously apply a holding current to maintain the contact point, and the larger the capacity, the larger the current must be applied. This paper proposes a two-level magnetic contactor drive that allows setting the initial starting operation current to fully attach the contact point of the magnetic contactor and the holding current to maintain subsequent operation. In addition, a low-cost drive topology of analog and digital methods was proposed for various field applications, and an algorithm based on the ripple of the excitation current was proposed to determine whether the magnetic contactor was opened or closed without using a separate contact point. The feasibility of the proposed method was proven through Psim simulation experiments.

Hybrid Excitation Control of SRM Drive for Reduction of Vibration and Acoustic Noise

  • The simple motor construction and low cost, fault tolerant power electronic drive has made the switched reluctance drive a strong contender for many applications. But the switched reluctance drive does exhibit higher levels of vibration and acoustic noise than that of most competing drives. The main source of vibration in the switched reluctance drive is generated by rapid change of radial magnetic force when phase current is extinguished during commutation action. In this paper, a hybrid excitation method is proposed to reduce vibration and acoustic noise of the switched reluctance drive. The hybrid excitation has 2-phase excitation by long dwell angle as well as conventional 1-phase excitation. The vibration and acoustic noise are reduced because the scheme reduces abrupt change of excitation level by distributed and balanced excitation.

  • In some requirements of dc motor drive circuit applications are high quality output with generation of low internal conducted EMI. However the conventional dc motor drive circuits have been usually using unbalanced circuit which generates the high conducted EMI to the frame ground. This paper presents a balanced dc motor drive circuit which is effective way to reduce the common-mode noise. The circuit balancing is to make the noise pick up or occurring in both conductor lines, signal path and return path is equal in amplitude and opposite phase so that it will cancel out in the frame ground. The common-mode conducted noise reduction of this proposed dc motor drive is confirmed by experimental results.
