단일 캠 구동기구의 동 안정성 해석 (Dynamic Stability Analysis of a Single Cam Drive Mechanism)

  • 본 연구에서는 단일 캠 구동기구의 안정성 해석을 위한 효율적인 방법이 제시 되고, 수치실험을 통하여 검증되었다. 우선 단일 캠 구동기구를 묘사하는 비선형 방 정식이 유도되고, 동안정성에 관여하는 변수들이 무차원화되어 도입된다. 유도된 방 정식은 캠 축의 입력각에 대하여 선형화되고, 선형화된 방정식에 조화균형법(harmonic balance method)을 적용하여 동안정성 해석을 수행하였다.

전구 자동화 생산기계용 바렐 캠의 형상설계에 관한 연구 (A Study on Design of Barrel Cam for Automatic Bulb Production Machine)

  • A barrel cam is used as a very important part of an index drive unit. The index drive unit must have an intermittent-rotational motion. The barrel typed cam and roller gear mechanism has the advantages of high reliability to perform a prescribed motion of a follower. This paper proposes a new method for the shape design of the barrel cam and also a CAD program is developed by using the proposed method. As defined in this paper, the relative velocity method for the shape design calculates the relative velocity of the follower versus cam at a center of roller, and then detemines a contact point by using the geometric relationships and the kinematic constraints, where the direction of the relative velocity must be parallel to a common tangential line at the contact point of two independent bodies, i.e. the cam and the follower. Then, the shape of the cam is defined by the coordinate transformation of the trace of the contact points. This paper presents shape design of the barrel cam in order to prove the accuracy of the proposed methods

롤러 기어 메커니즘을 이용한 직선이송시스템 (Linear Drive Systems using Roller Gear Mechanism)

  • This paper considers two linear drive systems using roller gear mechanism(RGM), one is the RRP(roller rack pinion) system that consists of a roller rack and a cam pinion, the other is the CRP(cam rack pinion) system that consists of a cam rack and a roller pinion. Through the comparison of contact forces and load-stress factors between two linear drive systems, it reveals that the RRP system is superior to the CRP system in the aspect of the bending strength, while the CRP system has higher contact fatigue resistance than that of the RRP system.

선박추진용 기계적 캠 구동식 및 전자제어식 연료분사 시스템을 가진 저속 2행정 디젤엔진의 배기특성 비교 (Comparison of emission characteristics between fuel injection systems with echanical cam and electric control type on low speed 2 stroke diesel engine for ship propulsion)

  • 선박운항의 경제성, 효율성 및 편리성을 높이면서 친환경적인 선박에 대한 연구가 지속적으로 추진되고 있는데, 그 중 한 예로 전자제어식 디젤엔진의 개발을 들 수 있다. 그러나 전자제어식 엔진으로 추진되는 선박은 안전성과 신뢰성이 우려되고 있어 이들을 선박에 널리 보급하는데 어려움을 겪고 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위하여 전자제어식과 캠구동식 연료분사시스템을 탑재하고 있는 선박의 주기관을 이용하여 시스템별 배기성능을 비교 분석하였다. 그 결과 전자제어식의 경제적 운항 모드에서는 캠구동식과 비슷한 배기특성을 나타내었지만, 유해가스 저배출 모드의 100% 부하상태에서는 NOx를 100ppm 이상, HC의 경우 50% 부하상태에서는 10~20ppm을, 25% 부하상태에서는 35~40ppm을 캠구동식에 비해 저감시킨다. 연료소비율에 있어서는 25% 부하상태에서 압축압력을 캠 구동식에 비해 200bar 이상 증가시킨 700bar로 유지할 때 7g/kWh 정도 저감되었다.

  • Wrapping machines in cigarette factories are equipped with indexing drive units with roller gear cam. At present there are no simple, visual, diagnostic techniques for predicting failure in these nits at an early stage. This paper proposes that failure could be predicted by using either a modified version of kurtosis, or the Wigner distribution method. The nonlinear vibration model proposed in this paper takes into consideration the play between the m and the cam follower, and precisely simulates the actual vibration. Statistics on the variance in play, obtained from the data on time history, call then be used to evaluate the effects of tile mage oil the cam and cam follower.

  • 3 차원 캠의 하나인 배럴캠은 자동화 생산 기계에서 인덱스 드라이브 유닛의 부품으로 많이 사용된다. 캠의 회전축과 종동절의 회전축이 90 도의 위상으로 직교한다. 인덱스 드라이브는 일정한 속도로 회전하는 캠의 입력에 대해 회전하고 정지한다. 터렛이 배럴캠의 회전에 의해 작동하는 동안 종이컵이 매우 빠르고 정확하게 성형된다. 그러나, 배럴캠과 종동절사이의 지속적인 미끄럼 접촉에 의해 점착마모가 발생하며 이러한 마모는 시스템의 성능에 영향을 준다. 결과적으로 제품의 불량율을 증가시킨다. 본 연구에서는 종이컵 성형기에 사용되는 배럴캠의 마모에 영향을 주는 인자가 접촉력임을 확인한다. 배럴캠과 롤러 사이의 접촉력은 다물체 동역학 모델을 이용해 계산한다. 그리고 해석 결과와 실제 시스템의 마모부와 비교를 통해 중요 마모 인자가 접촉력임을 검증한다.

  • For ultraprecision positioning, the use of the twist roller-type friction drive is proposed. In our study, it is difficult to decrease the resolution of positioning below 100 nm when we use general servo motors. Therefore we propose the feed hive with a small lead like a the cam-roller type traction drive leadscrew and modify it more accurately. By using the semi-loop control system, the positioning resolution of the drive can be 22.4 nm, where the pulse per revolution of the motor is 655360 and the the lead is 0.734 mm.

i-PGS 기반 선회베어링의 접촉피로강도 설계 (Contact Fatigue Strength Design of a Slewing Bearing Based on i-PGS)

  • To overcome the large ring gear manufacturing problems seen in slewing bearings and girth gears, pin gear drive units have been developed. Among them, a novel slewing bearing with an internal pinwheel gear set (i-PGS) is introduced in this paper. First, we consider the exact cam pinion profile of i-PGS with the introduction of a profile shift coefficient. Furthermore, a new root relief profile modification for the i-PGS cam pinion is presented. Then, the contact stresses are investigated to determine the characteristics of the surface fatigue by varying the shape design parameters. The results show that the contact stresses of i-PGS can be reduced significantly by increasing the profile shift coefficient. In addition, the contact ratio, a measure of teeth overlapping action, decreases with the decrease of the allowable pressure angle.

유압 베인 펌프에서의 탄성유체윤활 해석 (Elastohydrodynamic Lubrication Analysis in Hydraulic Vane Pump)

  • Hydraulic vane pumps are widely used in various hydraulic systems because of its compactness and light weight. It is well known that the vanes and cam ring are separated by very thin liquid films which result in the EHL state. Contrary to the case of cylindrical roller bearings, the inlet and side boundary pressures are much higher than the atmospheric pressure. In this paper, a numerical solution of the EHL of finite line contacts between the cam ring and vane tip with profiled ends is presented. Using a finite difference method with non-uniform grids and the Newton-Raphson method, converged solutions are obtained for moderate load and material parameters. The EHL pressure distribution and film shape are considerably affected by pump delivery pressure and the side boundary condition applied. Both the maximum pressure and the minimum film thickness always occurred near the edge regions. The present results can be used in the design of optimum vane profile in hydraulic vane pump.
