The aim of the study is to present a method to build an octree and to query from it for huge 3D point clouds of which volumes correspond or surpass the main memory, based on the memory-efficient octree developed by Han(2013). To the end, the method directly refers to 3D point cloud stored in a file on a hard disk drive instead of referring to that duplicated in the main memory. In addition, the method can save time to rebuild octree by storing and restoring it from a file. The memory-referring method and the present file-referring one are analyzed using a dataset composed of 18 million points surveyed in a tunnel. In results, the memory-referring method enormously exceeded the speed of the file-referring one when generating octree and querying points. Meanwhile, it is remarkable that a still bigger dataset composed of over 300 million points could be queried by the file-referring method, which would not be possible by the memory-referring one, though an optimal octree destination level could not be reached. Furthermore, the octree rebuilding method proved itself to be very efficient by diminishing the restoration time to about 3% of the generation time.
Approximation' is one of central conceptions in calculus. A basic conception for explaining 'approximation' is 'tangent', and 'tangent' is a 'line' with special condition. In this study, we will study pedagogically these mathematical knowledge on the ground of a viewpoint on the teaching of secondary geometry, and in connection with these we will suggest the teaching program and the chief end for the probable teaching. For this, we will examine point, line, circle, straight line, tangent line, approximation, and drive meaningfully mathematical knowledge for algebraic operation through the process translating from the above into analytic geometry. And we will construct the stream line of mathematical knowledge for approximation from a view of modern mathematics. This study help mathematics teachers to promote the pedagogical content knowledge, and to provide the basis for development of teaching model guiding the mathematical knowledge. Moreover, this study help students to recognize that mathematics is a systematic discipline and school mathematics are activities constructed under a fixed purpose.
This cross sectional study was done to find out the situation of computer online pornography access by 4th to 6th grade elementary school students. The subjects of this study were three elementary schools in Andong, which were selected randomly and 120 students randomly selected from 4th to 6th grade for a total of 360 students. The questionnaire was composed with the help of a community health nursing professor and through the reference review. The collected data were analysed by a PC SPSS 10.0 according to school grade and sex, an 12-test was implemented to learn what percent of students have computers and software which prohibit the viewing of online pornography, access motivation and time, content viewed, attitude after accessing the contents, and opinions about computer online pornography. The results of this study were as follows. 1. A total of 86.1% of students had computers at home. Most students placed computers in their own room, 78.9% of students had computer online communication experience. Higher grade students tended to have more experience of communications on the internet (P<0.001). Most students chatted on the internet once or twice a week and higher grade students tended to communicate online more frequently. (P<0.001). Most students used computers more than one hour a day (P<0.05). They used computers according to the following priorities: game, studying, listening to music, communications, chatting. 2. Regarding the frequency of going computer online more than seven times per week, male students showed a higher frequency than female students (P<0.05). Male students used computers more than one hour a day and female students less than half an hour (P<0.001). Male students mostly used computers to play computer games. On the other hand. female students used the computer to study, listen to music, and chat (P<0.001). 3. Regarding software installation to prevent access of computer online pornography, a total of 19.4% of students responded they installed one. but 80.6% didn't have any, 20.3% of students had accessed pornography, 46.6% of students responded. they first get to know to the computer online pornography through friends. 4. The reasons for accessing computer online pornography were ranked as follows: curiosity, interest, to release stress, and sex drive (P<0.05). Obscene contents were found in computer games, pictures, and video. Among these, pictures were the most common. 5. Regarding students' attitude toward online pornography, most students responded that they took much pleasure in the contents (P<0.05). 6. Regarding the question 'Does online pornography degrade morals and cause a sex crime', most students responded as 'no'. They also responded positively to the suggestion that the contents would be effective in preventing sex crimes and to release stress. 74.7% of students responded that males' access of the contents as proper but females' access as immoral. Regarding social efforts to protect students from this harmful environment. most replied that those efforts were unnecessary (P<0.001).

In recent days, the wire width of IC is narrowed and the degree of integration of IC is increased to obtain the higher capacity of the devices in electronic industry. And then the surface quality of FCCL(Flexible Copper Clad Laminate) became increasingly important. Surface defects on FCCL are bump, scratch, dent and so on. In particular, bumps cause low reliability of the products. Even though there are bumps on the surface, if leveling characteristic of plating solution is good, it does not develop significant bump. In this study, the leveling characteristics of additives are investigated. The objective of study is to improve the leveling characteristic and reduce the surface step through additives and plating conditions. The additives in the electrodeposition bath are critical to obtain flat surface and free of defects. In order to form flat copper surface, accelerator, suppressor and leveler are added to the stock solution. The reason for the addition of leveler is planarization surface and inhibition of the formation of micro-bump. Levelers (SO(Safranin O), MV(Methylene Violet), AB(Alcian Blue), JGB(Janus Green B), DB(Diazine Black) and PVP(Polyvinyl Pyrrolidone) are used in copper plating solution to enhance the morphology of electroplated copper. In this study, the nucleation and growth behavior of copper with variation of additives are studied. The leveling characteristics are analyzed on artificially fabricated Ni bumps.

This paper present to study the guidance system as localization technique using sensor fusion and line tracking technique using virtual line for AGV(autonomous guided vehicle). An existing AGV could drive on decided line only. And representative guidance systems of such guidance system are magnet-gyro guidance and wired guidance. However, those have had the high cost of installation and maintenance, and the difficulty of system change according to variation of working environment. To solve such problems, we make the localization system which is fused with a laser navigation and gyro, encoder. The system is robust against noise, and flexible according to working environment through sensor fusion. For line tracking of laser navigation without wire guidance, we set the virtual line in program, and design the driving controller based on difference of angle and distance between AGV's position and decided virtual line. To experiment, we use the AGV which is made by ourselves, and experiment the line tracking repeatedly on same experimental environment. In result, maximum distance error between decided virtual line and AGV's position was less than 49.93mm, and we verified that the proposed system is efficient for line tracking of actual AGV.

Vehicular Ad Hoc Network(VANET) using wireless network is offering the communications between vehicle and vehicle(V2V) or vehicle and infrastructure(V2I). VANET is being actively researched from industry field and university because of the rapid developments of the industry and vehicular automation. Information, collected from VANET, of velocity, acceleration, condition of road and environments provides various services related with safe drive to the drivers, so security over network is the inevitable factor. For the secure message authentication, a number of authentication proposals have been proposed. Among of them, a scheme, proposed by Jung, applying database search algorithm, Bloom filter, to RAISE scheme, is efficient authentication algorithm in a dense space. However, k-anonymity used for obtaining the accurate vehicular identification in the paper has a weak point. Whenever requesting the righteous identification, all hash value of messages are calculated. For this reason, as the number of car increases, a amount of hash operation increases exponentially. Moreover the paper does not provide a complete key exchange algorithm while the hand-over operation. In this paper, we use a Received Signal Strength Indicator(RSSI) based velocity and distance estimation algorithm to localize the identification and provide the secure and efficient algorithm in which the problem of hand-over algorithm is corrected.

This paper has proposed a 920 MHz RF front-end for IEEE 802.15.4g SUN (Smart Utility Network) systems. The proposed 920 MHz RF front-end consists of a driver amplifier, a low noise amplifier, and a RF switch. In the TX mode, the driver amplifier has been designed as a single-ended topology to remove a transformer which causes a loss of the output power from the driver amplifier. In addition, a RF switch is located in the RX path not the TX path. In the RX mode, the proposed low noise amplifier can provide a differential output signal when a single-ended input signal has been applied to. A LC resonant circuit is used as both a load of the drive amplifier and a input matching circuit of the low noise amplifier, reducing the chip area. The proposed 920 MHz RF Front-end has been implemented in a 0.18-um CMOS technology. It consumes 3.6 mA in driver amplifier and 3.1 mA in low noise amplifier from a 1.8 V supply voltage.

In radio astronomy, high-capacity HDDs are being used to save huge amounts of HDDs in order to record the observational data. For VLBI observations, observational speeds increase and huge amounts of observational data must be stored as they expand to broadband. As the HDD is frequently used, the number of failures occurred, and then it takes a lot of time to recover it. In addition, if a failed HDD is continuously used, observational data loss occurs. And it costs a lot of money to buy a new HDD. In this study, we developed the integrity verification system of the Serial ATA HDD using FirmOS. The FirmOS is an OS that has been developed to function exclusively for specific purposes on a system having a general server board and CPU. The developed system performs the process of writing and reading specific patterns of data in a physical area of the SATA HDD based on a FirmOS. In addition, we introduced a method to investigate the integrity of HDD integrity by comparing it with the stored pattern data from the HDD controller. Using the developed system, it was easy to determine whether the disk pack used in VLBI observations has error or not, and it is very useful to improve the observation efficiency. This paper introduces the detail for the design, configuration, testing, etc. of the SATA HDD integrity verification system developed.
The research is aimed at investigating the development and application of high school biology classes utilizing discourse-typed inquiry learning program fitted with POE, and the corresponding effect on student's academic achievement and attitude toward science. 4 classes of 11th graders in a general high school located in Busan were selected as subjects. Biology I, 'Circulation' unit was lectured for 4 weeks (6 classes), and the experimental group underwent classes utilizing discourse-typed inquiry learning program fitted with POE. The control group was taught identical major learning contents, but based on the learning objectives and research activities provided by Biology I textbook. As a result of application, first, the discourse-typed inquiry learning program fitted with POE exhibited positive consequences of linking previously acquired knowledge and the new learning attained through experiments, as well as not only improving the students' problem solving capacity through diverging questions from the teachers to drive the students' higher-level contemplation, but also enhancing student academic achievement by assisting their logical thinking. Second, POE-fitted discourse-typed inquiry learning program rendered presupposing session of the experiment that resulted in drawing learners' attention in advance, and incited active participation in the learning process through solving the contradiction between what was actually observed and what was expected, which eventually proved to lay out positive impact on students' attitude toward science.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the key factors in designing a three-wheeled two-row soybean reaper (riding type) that is suitable for soybean production, and ensure worker safety by proposing optimal work conditions for the prototype of the designed machine in relation to the slope of the road. Methods: A three-wheeled two-row soybean reaper (riding type) was designed and its prototype was fabricated based on the local soybean-production approach. This approach was considered to be closely related to the prototype-designing of the cutter and the wheel driving system of the reaper. Load distribution on the wheels of the prototype, its minimum turning radius, static lateral overturning angle, tilt angle during driving, and The working and rear overturning (back flip) angle were measured. Based on the gathered information, investigations were conducted regarding optimal work conditions for the prototype. The investigations took into account driving stability and worker safety. Results: The minimum ground clearance of the prototype was 0.5 m. The blade height of the prototype was adjusted such that the cutter was operated in line with the height of the ridges. The load distribution on the prototype's wheels was found to be 1 (front wheel: F): 1.35 (rear-left wheel: RL): 1.43 (rear-right wheel: RR). With the ratio of load distribution between the RL and RR wheels being 1: 1.05, the left-to-right lateral loads were found to be well-balanced. The minimum turning radius of the prototype was 2.0 m. Such a small turning radius was considered to be beneficial for cutting work on small-scale fields. The sliding of the prototype started at $25^{\circ}$, and its lateral overturning started at $39.3^{\circ}$. Further, the critical slope angle for the worker to drive the prototype in the direction of the contour line on an incline was found to be $12.8^{\circ}$, and the safe angle of slope for the cutting was measured to be less than $6^{\circ}$. The critical angle of slope that allowed for work was found to be $10^{\circ}$, at which point the prototype would overturn backward when given impact forces of 1,060 N on its front wheel. Conclusions: It was determined that farmers using the prototype would be able to work safely in most soybean production areas, provided that they complied with safe working conditions during driving and cutting.
