Dream Start Project purposes to provide equal opportunity for the child in the poverty. This project is conducted the last six years, there are voices of worry for the limit of the project performance. Therefore, this study aims to analyse the effectiveness of project and suggest activation plan of Dream Start from the viewpoint of users. This study use focus group interview to explore needs assessment for development of Dream Start Project. In conclusion, the project provides positive outcomes for children and their parents in terms of psychology, education and health etc. Children have increased their basic learning ability through the learning support. They have improved confidence and positiveness. The vaccine was as effective in health promotion. Dream Start had the effect of raising community consciousness. The relationship between children and their parents were smoothly through parent education. Free learning support has brought the economic effects. This project had the effect of improving welfare consciousness of the parents. This study presents the development plan of the business to reflect the users' assessment.

Dual-channel Radiometers for Earth and Atmosphere Monitoring (DREAM) was developed as the Korean first spaceborne microwave radiometer for earth remote sensing. It is the main payload of the Science and Technology SATellite-2 (STSAT-2). STSAT-2 will be launched by Korea Space Launch Vehic1e-l (KSLV-1) at NARO Space Center in Korea in 2008. The DREAM is a two-channel, total power microwave radiometers with the center frequencies of 23.8 GHz and 37 GHz. The bandwidths of radiometer are 600 MHz at 23.8 GHz and 1000 MHz at 37 GHz. The integration time is 200 ms and the required sensitivity is less than 0.5 K. In this paper, we summarize the specification and performance of the developed DREAM firstly. And we describe system integration and performance test of DREAM mounted on spacecraft.

Objective: Impairment of spermatogenesis has been identified as an inevitable side effect of cancer treatment. Although estrogen treatment stimulates spermatogenic recovery from the impaired spermatogenesis by suppressing the intra-testicular testosterone (ITT) level, side effects of estrogen are still major impediments to its clinical application in humans. Soybeans are rich in genistein, which is a phytoestrogen that binds to estrogen receptors and has an estrogenic effect. We investigated the effects of genistein administration on ITT levels, testis weight, and recovery of spermatogenesis in rats treated with a chemotherapeutic agent, busulfan. Methods: Busulfan was administered intraperitoneally to rats, and then a GnRH agonist was injected subcutaneously into the back, or genistein was administered orally. Results: The weight of the testes was significantly reduced by the treatment with busulfan. The testis weight was partially restored after busulfan treatment by additional treatment with either the GnRH agonist or genistein. Busulfan also induced atrophy of a high percentage of the seminiferous tubules, but this percentage was decreased by additional treatment with either the GnRH agonist or genistein. Treatment with genistein was effective at suppressing and maintaining ITT levels comparable to that in the GnRH agonist group. Conclusion: Genistein effectively suppressed ITT levels and stimulated the recovery of spermatogenesis in rats treated with a chemotherapeutic drug. This suggests that genistein may be a substitute for estrogens, for helping humans to recover fertility after cancer therapy without the risk of side effects.

DREAM-S is a distributed main-memory database system for the real-time processing of shared operational datra in ATM switching systems. DREAM-S has a client-server architecture in which only the server has the diskstorage, and provides the T-Tree index structure for efficient accesses to the data. We propose a recovery technique for the T-Tree index structre in DREAM-S. Although main-memory database system offer efficient access performance, the database int he main-memory may be broken when system failure such as database transaction failure or power failure occurs. Therfore, a recovery technique that recovers the database (including index structures) is essential for fault tolerant ATM switching systems. Proposed recovery technique relieves the bottleneck of the server processors disk operations by maintaining the T-Tree index structure only in the main-memory. In addition, fast recovery is guaranteed even in large number of client systems since the T-Tree index structure(s) in each system can be recovered cncurrently.

In this article, we tried to introduce a little-known work of M.A. Bulgakov "Snowstorm" and provide some various clues for reading this short story. This study is focused on "snowstorm-plot", grasping the structure and the theme of the present work. To this end, in the Chapter II we tired to seek for the meanings of Bulgakov's "snowstorm" based on intertextuality shown from the works by those writers such as Pushkin, Gogol and Tolstoy. In this short story "snowstorm" is presented not only as a natural phenomenon but as a "participant" which provides young doctor-narrator with short time break and let him go to a dying bride, and at last place him on the crossroads of life and death. Indeed "snowstorm" plays a role of the framed structure of Bulgakov's text. In the Chapter III we observed the creative expression of Bulgakov's work which is comprised of overlappings with dream and reality. In other words, in the short story "Snowstorm" the outside and the inside story of frame are described as a dream of the one same night. We can guess that the Shermetievo story is a kind of dream of young doctor who fell asleep in Tuesday night, asking himself "how many patients will come tomorrow?". By the way the Shermetievo story unfolds as an incident which is happened on Wednesday. In this way in Bulgakov's "Snowstorm" it is hard to draw clear lines of demarcation between dream and reality. Therefore existential themes like these "Life and Death", "Professional calling and personal conscience", "The great nature and the week human being" are resonated with original structure "Dream in Dream".

A new cultivars Dendranthema grandiflourm 'Dream Moon' was developed at Gyeonggi-do Agricultural Research and Extension Services (GARES), Korea in 2008. The cultivar 'Dream Moon' was derived from a cross between 'Patra', a spray cultivar with yellow single type, and 'Sei-rosa', a spray cultivar with pink single type in 2005. The cultivar has single type flowers with pink petals. Trial evaluation was conducted from 2006 to 2008 for a shading cultivation in summer and a retarding cultivation in spring. The flowering time of 'Dream Moon' is late October, and year-round flowering is possible by shade or light treatment. The diameter of flower is 56.0 mm. Numbers of flowers per stem and petals per flower are 16.4 and 24.6, respectively. After investing of specific characters from 2006 to 2008, it was finally selected and named 'Dream Moon'. It has resistance to white rust and the vase life is about 20.7days in autumn season.

This study is to analyze dreams and madness in Don Quixote and Hamlet which makes these two heroes quite identical rather than antithetical. Don Quixote is usually considered to be an idealistic, enthusiastic, and unselfish doer, whereas Hamlet is a skeptical, melancholic, and self-conscious thinker. However, Don Quixote and Hamlet both reveal a heroic desire to embody an ideal world into a reality through their dreams and madness. Based on Freud's interpretation of the similarities between dream and neurosis, this article focuses on the aspects of Don Quixote's waking dream and Hamlet's affected madness to find out their characteristics as new types of heroes. Don Quixote, the waking dreamer, acts like a maniac and tries to remain in a state of madness to sustain the dream world where he wanders to save the weak, the poor, and the deprived. He accepts psychic breakdown as well as physical trauma if only he can do the role of a knight errant. Sleepless Hamlet witnesses the dream world and experiences it tangibly while he hears an order from the murdered King's ghost. Yet, instead of becoming a neurotic, Hamlet waits for the chance to perform his task to regain the harmony of his family and kingdom. Even on the border of madness, Hamlet does not forsake his own life and duty but dreams in reality and acts without losing his reason. Although there are some apparent outstanding differences between Don Quixote and Hamlet, they have fundamental similarities with each other; Both of them exemplify a new type of hero who desperately tries to fulfill a mad dream to face the suffocating, suspicious, and strange world.

The purpose of this study is to examine the research trends of overseas journals related to dream analysis over the five-year period between 2019 and 2023, and to draw implications for future domestic research directions related to dream analysis. For this purpose, 84 overseas journals searched on Google scholar from 2019 to 2023 were selected and analyzed for research trends, including publication year, journal by topic, theory of use, major research topics, and research methods. The results of the analysis showed that, first, the number of published studies increased from 2019 to 2021 and then decreased, and related studies were active in each country during the COVID-19 period. Second, there was a tendency to interpret the unconscious through dream analysis and apply it to various fields. Third, the trend of research methods was 53 studies using qualitative research, 24 studies using quantitative research, 5 mixed studies, and 2 meta-analyses. Finally, we discuss our findings and suggest further research in the field of dream analysis.

Objectives: In the past, latent dreams were emphasized in the psychiatric field, but these days the interest in manifest dreams is increasing as ego psychology develops. Hall and Nordby proposed that there are similarities between manifest dreams and real life. The Hall/Van de Castle System is a method of dream content analysis, which considers both the quantitive and qualitive analytic aspects of manifest dreams. Methods: The dreams of 232 males and females (M：F=127：105；mean age=21.02.7) were collected through the Most Recent Dream Method. Collected data were analyzed using the Hall/Van de Castle System. Results: Female subjects tended to be more detailed and meticulous in reporting their dreams. The dreams of male subjects showed a higher percentage in self-negativity (2=6.64, df=1, p=0.004), and the dreams of female subjects showed a higher percentage in group character (2=6.64, df=1, p=0.0099), dreamer-involved success (2=3.12, df=1, p=0.048), and good fortune (2=4.52, df=1, p=0.034). Conclusion: This study suggests the norm of dream content of Korean college students, and it presents the differences between Korean males and females, and between Korean college students and American college students. This study may contribute to further studies on dream content analysis.
