Purpose: The purpose of this study is to develop evidence-based nursing practice guidelines for hemodialysis in the renal failure patients with risk of bleeding and to evaluate the guidelines by applying it to the practice. Method: Referring to the SIGN, the first draft for guidelines was developed based on the advices and recommendations obtained from the procedure of critical literature analysis. Then, the draft was modified by the procedures of the expert group evaluation and pilot application to the practice. The final draft was evaluated by the expert group using AGREE instrument. Result: The first draft of guidelines was developed through 8 stages of process and was evaluated by seven experts in terms of the appropriateness, applicability, and effectiveness using a 9 point scale. The mean score of 11 items was 7.90 or above. The quality of the final draft was evaluated by 5 experts using the AGREE instrument. The mean standard score was 73.0% or above in the 19 items. Conclusion: The clinical guidelines developed by this research can be utilized as systematic and scientific guidelines for hemodialysis in the renal failure patients with risk of bleeding. In addition, the research can contribute to improving care services.

A numerical study for performance analysis of a crossflow-type forced draft cooling tower has been performed based on the finite volume method with non-orthogonal body fitted, and non-staggered grid system. For solving the coupling problem between water and air, air enthalpy, moisture fraction, water enthalpy, and water mass balance equations are solved with Navier-Stoke's equations simultaneously. For the effect of turbulence, the standard k-$\varepsilon$ turbulent model is implied in this analysis. The predicted result of the present analysis is compared with the experimental data and the commercial software result to validate the present study. The predicted results show good agreement with the experimental data and the commercial software result. To investigate the influence of the cooling tower design parameters such as approach, range and wet bulb temperature, parametric studies are also performed.

작년 6월호에 ISO/IEC 10118의 제 1 부인 개론이 소개되었고 이번호에는 바로 표준이 된 제 2 부를 소개한다. 이 과제는 1990년에 CD(Committee Draft), 1992년에 DIS(Draft IS)가 되었고, 1994년에 IS(International Standard)가 되었으며 1998년에 1차 검토가 있을 예정이다.

IOS/IEC JTC1/SC27의 국제표준소개의 첫번째 편으로 DIS 9797을 소개한다. 이것은 1989년에 1차로 국제표준이 되었다가 결함이 발견되어 다시 작업이 시작되어 1992년 10월 SC27정기총회에서 CD(Committee Draft)에서 수정후 DIS(Draft Internationa Standard) 수준으로 올리기로 하여 1993년 3월 DIS로서 표결에 부쳐진 문서이다. 이해를 돕기 위하여 국문뒤에 원문을 덧붙였다. 번역이 적절하지 않거나 더 좋은 표현이 있으면 역자에게 알려주면 참고하여 추후의 수정본에 반영하겠다.

A wireless LAN medical information transmission system is useful for patients who need mobility in a local area environment. This paper proposes a method using WLAN(wireless local area network) and implements a stand-alone system with MAC(meidum access control) layer protocol referenced IEEE 802.11 draft standard. The system consists of a 8bit-microprocessor which handles media access control protocol and a WL100(GEC Plessey) chip which takes care of phsical layer specific routines and uses a RF module DE6003(GEC Plessey). The major features of the implemented system are the CSMA/CA protocol used a consecutive DATA-ACK trasmission method which yields more effective bandwidth allocation for asyncronous traffic transmission and the modified PCF protocol for time-bounded traffic transmission, which operates in ad-hoc network topology apart from IEEE 802.11 draft standard confirm PCF mode operate in infrastruture topology.

This study aims to point out what is the basic idea and principle of weed control in or-ganic farming. The korean organic agriculture gets a point in dispute on weed control, be-cause 1) they do not practice the Basic Standard of IFOAM and FAO/WHO Codex Guidelines(draft), and 2) Korean organic farming is defined quite differently from internationally recognized core aspects for organic agriculture. Organic farming, in Korea, is taken to mean just the replacement of chemical fertilizer by organic manure and a-voidance of agricultural chemicals without practicing on rotation, cropping system and so on. As a consequence, organic farmers in Korea are suffering from hard labor to control the weed. In the paper it is discussed on organical weed control method which are required in the Basic Standard of IFOAM and guidelined in the Organic Production Principles of FAO/WHO Codex draft, and furthermore the single or combination effect of those method are also discussed. In conclusion it is suggest the necessity, purpose, and effect of the introduction of the basic stan-dard to korean organic agriculture including organical weed control.

Offices and other multipurpose buildings commonly have suspended ceilings installed over room dividing wall. But Korean Standards don't include any code on test methods and test facility of the suspended ceiling system. Therefore, test methods and test facility from ISO and ASTM have been used for evaluating sound performance in domestic so far. In this study, Korean Standards draft on test methods and test facility of suspended ceiling system and materials is proposed on the basis of ISO and ASTM.

지난 세번에 걸쳐 소개하던 실체인증기법을 중단하고 이번호 부터는 해쉬함수 국제표준을 소개한다. 국내에서도 표준화 노력이 진행되고 있는 해쉬함수는 임의의 길이의 비트스트링을 정해진 길이의 출력인 해쉬코드로 변환시키는 함수로서 디지탈서명, 인증. 키 분배등의 많은 적용사례를 갖고 있다. 해쉬함수의 표준화 과제는 1984년 디지탈서명 국제표준화 과제중 한 part로 시작했다가 1989년 독립된 과제가 되었다 그 당시에는 2개의 part(Part 1 : General. Part 2 : Hash-functions using an n-bit block cipher algorithm)로 시작되었다가 나중에 2개의 part (Part 3 : Dedicated hash-functions, Part 4 : Hash-functions using modular arithmetic)가 추가되었다. 이 과제는 1991년 CD(Committee Draft), 1992년 DIS(Draft for International Standard)가 되었고. 1993년에 IS(International Standard)가 되었고 1998년 1차 검토가 있을 예정이다.

Imagery and gridded data can be used as the sources of extracting important information and data layers in utilizing GIS. The existing metadata standard to distribute and to utilize the geographic information are mainly concentrated at the vector data and do not provide metadata components for imagery and gridded data. In this study, metadata components for imagery and gridded data have been investigated. Firstly, existing international metadata standards such as ISO and domestic standards of TTA have been analyzed. Based on th results, the draft metadata for imagery and gridded data have been proposed as the extensions of domestic metadata standard distribution. The draft metadata could contribute to build the basic standards to access and utilize proper imagery and gridded data fit to various application field, and this will be fundamental bases for activating GIS in public and private sectors.
