This study was intended to provide the basic design creteria for the refrigerated storage, and to estimate the required optimum capacity of refrigerator for the different sizes and kinds of the existing fruit storage. The structural characteristics of the existing fruit storages in Pyungtaek-khun of Kyungki-do were surveyed. The average out-door air temperature during the expected storage life after harvesting, was obtained by analyzing the weather information. The heat transfer rates through the different models of storage walls were estimated. The refrigerating load required for different models of fruit storage was analyzed in the basis of out-door air temperature. The results obtained in this study are summarized as follows: 1. The fruit storages surveyed were constructed on-ground, under-ground and sub-ground type buildings. The majority of them being the on-ground buildings are mostly made of earth bricks with double walls. Rice hull was mostly used as the insulating materials for their walls and ceilings. About 42% of the buildings were with the horizontal ceiling, 22% with sloped ceiling, and about 36% without ceiling. About 60% of the storage buildings had floor without using insulated material. They were made of compacted earth. 2. There is no difference in heat transfer among six different types of double walls. The double wall, however, gives much less heat transfer than the single wall. Therefore, the double wall is recommended as the walls of the fruit storage on the point of heat transfer. Especially, in case of the single wall using concrete, the heat transfer is about five time of the double walls. It is evident that concrete is not proper wall material for the fruit storage without using special insulating material. 3. The heat transfer through the storage walls is in inverse proportion to the thickness of rice hull which is mostly used as the insulating material in the surveyed area. It is recommended that the thickness of rice hull used as the insulating material far storage wall is about 20cm in consideration of the decreasing rate of heat transfer and the available storage area. 4. The design refrigerating load for the on-ground storages having 20 pyung area is estimated in 4.07 to 4.16 ton refrigeration for double walls, and 5.23 to 6.97 ton refrigeration for single walls. During the long storage life, however, the average daily refrigerating load is ranged from 0.93 to 0.95 ton refrigeration for double walls, and from 1.15 to 1.47 ton refrigeration for single walls, respectively. 5. In case of single walls, 50.8 to 61.4 percent to total refrigerating load during the long storage life is caused by the heat transferred into the room space through walls, ceiling and floor. On the other hand, 39.1 to 40.7 percent is for the double walls. 6. The design and average daily refrigerating load increases in linear proportion to the size of storage area. As the size increases, the increasing rate of the refrigerating load is raised in proportion to the heat transfer rate of the wall. 7. The refrigerating load during the long storage life has close relationship to the out-door air temperature. The maximum refrigeration load is shown in later May, which is amounted to about 50 percent to the design refrigerating load. 8. It is noted that when the wall material having high heat transfer rate, such as the single wall made of concrete, is used, heating facilities are required for the period of later December to early February.
Folate, a precursor of the coenzyme tetrahydrofolate, plays an important role in DNA replication and cell proliferation, and thus could influence rapidly proliferating immune cells such as leukocytes and splenocytes. The effects of dietary folate on folate concentrations of plasma, thymus, spleen and leukocytes were investigated in rats. The animals were raised for 6 weeks on semipurifed experimental diets containing 0mg, 2mg, 4mg, 8mg folate/kg diet. Folate concentrations were determined microbiologically using Lactobacillus casei(ATCC 7469), and DNA strand breaks produced by alkaline treatment were analyzed fluorometrically. When compared to folate adequate diet, the folate deficient diet(0mg folate/kg diet) resulted in lowest folate levels in plasma, thymus, spleen and leukocytes, and the highest DNA strand breaks in spleen cells and leukocytes. Dietary folate levels significantly increased folate concentrations of immune tissues, leukocytes, and the plasma in a dose dependent manner, folate concentrations being highest with a diet providing 8mg folate/kg diet. The percentages of the double strand DNA remaining in the splenocytes and leukocytes after alkaline treatment were significantly increased with higher amounts of dietary folate in a dose dependent manner. Folate intakes of 8mg than 4mg/kg diet was found to be more effective in the prevention of DNA strand breaks. The results of this study suggest that increased folate above the requirement level could improve DNA stabilities in immune cells.
As the exterior of building has been considered one of th important parts, the use of glass that is suitable to express various appearances gets raised. However, windows have 6~7times lower insulating performance than insulated walls. Lately, highly efficient windows are required as the needs for reduction of energy consumption come to the force. Therefore, Nowadays more people use cooling systems in summer, more the use of Low-E glazing is increasing. Because it is good to block Solar Radiant Energy which can cause much of heat loss while cooling system is working. This study measures U-value of the double Low-E glazing window and commonly used single Low-E glazing window. And then the effect of each window on the efficiency rating has been analyzed applying to the certification system of the building energy efficiency rating which has implemented.
While studies have been carried out on endoparasite infection from feces of Korean indigenous goats in multiple areas around the nation, there is no report in northern areas of Gyeongbuk province. Thus, this study was conducted to examine the rate of parasite infection from the fecal samples of goats raised on grass. From March to July in 2008, 108 fecal samples were taken from goats. Eggs of parasites were identified using flotation or sedimentation methods followed by microscopic examination. Overall infection rate of parasites from feces of goats were 99% (107 out of 108). The infection rates of nematode, cestode, trematode and protozoa were 37%, 23%, 0% and 99%, respectively. Among parasite eggs detected, nematodes included threadworms (20%), strongyles (16%) and whipworms (1%). The only cestode and protozoa detected were Moniezia expansa and Eimeria spp, respectively. In the rates of mixed infection, single was 61%, double 32%, and triple 6%.
A field experiment was conducted with Calliandra calothyrsus of fifteen provenances to evaluate the variation in the condensed tannin content of fresh leaves. Plants were raised in a nursery for three months and planted in the field. Experimental design was line planting of double hedgerows (3 m long plot, 1/2 meter interval, 45 plants in each plot) with 5 replicates. Plants were lopped every 5 months and samples (10 different plants within a plot; 4 newly flushed leaves, 4 partially expanded leaves and 4 mature full expanded leaves from each of 10 trees in a plot) were collected and were put on ice before transfer to the laboratory. Proanthocyanidine was extracted in aqueous acetone, and total extractable proanthcyanidine (TEPA) and total proanthocyanidine (TOPA) were measured. In addition, proximate analyses were made of different provenances. Crude protein contents varied from 19.74% to 16.45%; in vitro organic matter digestibility ranged from 36.09% to 23.32%. TEPA content ranged from 11.22 to 16.01 (measured as absorbance at $550nm,\;g^{-1}$ DM) and TOPA from 24.57 to 31.72 (measured as absorbance at $550nm,\;g^{-1}$ DM) TEPA and TOPA had a positive correlation, whereas crude protein content of Calliandra was negatively correlated with TEPA and TOPA. Provenances, such as Georgesville (Belize), local, Coban (Guatemala), Patulul (Guatemala), Bombana (Mexico) can be selected on the basis of nutritive value of fodder.
In the modern construction industry, since numerous skyscrapers have been built, there have been sought for developing various kinds of methods for shortening a construction period. Therefore, many kinds of studies on some kinds of cold-weather concrete have been conducted actively for the purpose of a year-round construction. Accordingly, this research team once developed a double-layered bubble sheet as a surface-coated curing material for winter. And there have been raised some worries that some initial damages to frozen concrete caused by low temperature of reinforcing bars which are exposed out of the wall areas of a wall-type apartment during winter. Therefore, in this study, it is intended to find out clearly whether it is possible for concrete to be damaged initially or not by analyzing the temperature characteristics of the exposed reinforcing bars of the wall areas under the temperature conditions during winter.
In accordance with the guidelines on the balcony structure changes in December 2005, most of tenants were moving into apartment housing, expand the balcony, but some large deviation between the price construction costs set of cases, due to overuse and the cause of the dispute, and the housing law amended in 2007 due to price cap system is implemented, the cost of expansion the balcony overdose pointed out that there is set to boost the sale price has been raised. These issues in order to improve the government in January 2008, the "Note costs by the balcony expansion" suggested guidelines to protect the rights of tenants and wants to promote the settlement of the sale price cap system. This study calculated the "Note costs by the balcony expansion" window system based on double or single, high performance insulation window system of the quantitative performance analysis of each type window that purpose.

Fashion leadership is divided into visual influence, linguistic influence, and dual leadership. We refer to people exercising such influential power as fashion innovators, fashion opinion leaders, and fashion double leaders, respectively. Scholars and marketers have raised continuous questions on this issue: who are these fashion leaders and what characteristics do they have? In this study, social network analysis is applied to grasp the existence of three types of fashion leaders in college clubs, examine their positions in fashion process networks and investigate their individual and social characteristics. For this study, three college clubs were recruited through convenience sampling and surveyed online. Peer nomination questions for structuring fashion process networks and self-evaluation questions for measuring personal characteristics are included. Two fashion networks, an opinion leadership network and an innovativeness network, embrace four to six leaders and illustrate similar structure patterns in the three groups, which indicates that dual leaders enjoyed the lion's share in college clubs. The number of fashion innovators tends to be fewer compared to that of fashion opinion leaders, and we infer that peer relationship appears to intervene with fashion opinion leadership. Other personal characteristics supporting results from previous studies are also confirmed in this study.

A block-oxide layer was formed on the surface of Cu-based leadframe by chamical oxidation method in order to enhance the adhesion strength between Cu-based leadframe and epoxy molding compound (EMC) Using sandwiched double cantilever beam (SDCB) specimens, the adesion strength was measured in terms of interfacial fracture toughness, G$\sub$IC//Results showed that the black-oxide layer was composed of two kinds of layers: pebble-like Cu$_2$O layer and acicular CuO layer, At the initial stage of oxidation the Cu$_2$O layer was preferentially formed and thickened up to around 200 nm whithin 1 minute of the oxidation time. Then the CuO layer started to from atop of the Cu$_2$O layer and thickened up to around 1300 nm until 20 minutes. As soon as the CuO layer formed, the thickness of Cu$_2$O layer began to reduce and finally reached to around 150 nm. The pre-cleaned and the Cu$_2$O coated leadframes showed almost no adhesion of EMC, however, as the CuO precipitates appeared and became continuous, G$\sub$IC/ increased up to around 80 J/㎡. Further oxidation raised G$\sub$IC/ up. to around 100 J/㎡.
The roll forming produces mass products using the continuous production process. Also we need the process that continuous long material or goods cutting into a desired length. Our study uses 3-D driving cutter and roll forming material as SPCC to investigate this. When we cut the material using the process of roll forming, the shear resistance is raised at the cutting punch's edge. The result is remained the trouble about burr and progressive deformation on the material. This study shows the method minimizing the above trouble. The material of punch was considering heat generated on the continuous production process. So we used the type of STD 61 for the material of punch and had the vacuum heat treatment for the surface hardness of HRC 53. The structure of the mold is designed with forming a double cam die at the upper punch and the both sides of central core. We conducted the experiment three times. In the result when had to make V-groove within the angle between 105 and 110 on the punch front end, we could get the minimum shear resistance on the punch front end. Also with the same condition we minimizes the material jams in the continuous production process.
