  • This paper presents the system design of permanent magnet linear synchronous machine with double-side PM mover and slotless iron-cored stator in the required speed and thrust. in this paper, the design of manufacturing motor is optimized by characteristics of motor parameters with the variation of PM size and coil turns. And, the permissible operating range of manufactured motor by determination of base speed and base thrust according to switching scheme of DC link voltage are offered. Finally, the results of analytical solutions are verificated by finite element analysis and experiment.

A new reinforcing steel model with bond-slip

  • A new reinforcing steel model which is embedded inside a concrete element and also accounts for the effect of bond-slip is developed. Unlike the classical bond-link or bond-zone element using double nodes, the proposed model is considering the bond-slip effect without taking double nodes by incorporation of the equivalent steel stiffness. After calculation of nodal displacements, the deformation of steel at each node can be found through the back-substitution technique from the first to the final steel element using a governing equation constructed based on the equilibrium at each node of steel and the compatibility condition between steel and concrete. This model results in significant savings in the number of nodes needed to account for the effect of bond-slip, in particular, when the model is used for three dimensional finite element problems. Moreover a new nonlinear solution scheme is developed in connection with this model. Finally, correlation studies between analytical and experimental results and several parameter studies are conducted with the objective to establish the validity of the proposed model.

  • In order to develop the three phase GTO CSI with double recovery path of commutation energy by passive devices (LCD), we studied the clamping circuit to protect switching device and energy recovery circuit to recover absorbed energy of capacitor and DC link inductor. In this paper, we investigated how DC input power is increased or decreased according to energy recovery path with or not in the three phase GTO current source inverter. We used a induction motor as the load of inverter, and controlled a induction motor with V/F constant control. Experimental results show that dissipated DC power is decreased and capacitor voltage Vc is effectively suppressed by double recovery path.

  • Recently, the high-speed and intelligence technology of machine tools are developed for the high efficiency of productivity Under the operating condition from the high-speed of machine tools, the various failure modes can occur in core units of manufacturing system. Therefore it is for the reliability concept of machine tool to be required in a design level. And the above-stated technology must be accommodated in the feeding and spindle subsystem, etc those are the core units of machine tools. In this study, we are developed the test-bed of sliding cover (C-plate) in order to evaluating reliability and estimating failure modes of feeding subsystem under operating conditions. The reliability experiment using the developed test-bed and the additional structural analysis executed on single and double structure. We found out the weak parts of sliding cover and were able to predict a life cycle from the experiment results. In this study, we propose the new C-plate model with double link structure to apply the high-speed machine tool in the fundamental guideline.

  • 본 논문에서는 소형 무인기 데이터 링크 시스템에 적용이 가능한 전송률 가변 비대칭 TDD(Time Division Duplex) 방식에 대해 다루었다. 긴 복호 시간이 필요한 터보 복호기를 비대칭 TDD 방식에 적용하기 위하여 이중 버퍼 제어기 구조의 터보 복호기를 제안하였다. 제안 방법은 전송률 가변과 동일 송수신 시간에 최대의 데이터 전송이 가능하다. 제안 방식을 적용한 데이터 링크 시스템을 제작하여 성능을 확인하였다. 측정 결과, 대칭 TDD 방식에 비해 전송률은 최대 약 1.8배 증가하였다. PER(Packet Error Rate) 성능은 동일하며, 전송률 가변이 가능함을 확인하였다.

  • This paper proposes a grid-tied photovoltaic (PV) system, consisting of Voltage-fed dual-active-bridge (DAB) dc-dc converter with single phase inverter. The proposed converter allows a small dc-link capacitor, so that system reliability can be improved by replacing electrolytic capacitors with film capacitors. The double line frequency free maximum power point tracking (MPPT) is also realized in the proposed converter by using Ripple Correlation method. First of all, to eliminate the double line frequency ripple which influence the reduction of DC source capacitance, control is developed. Then, a designing of Current control in DQ frame is analyzed and to fulfill the international harmonics standards such as IEEE 519 and P1547, $3^{rd}$ harmonic in the grid is directly compensated by the feedforward terms generated by the PR controller with the grid current in stationary frame to achieve desire Total Harmonic Distortion (THD). 5-kW PV converter and inverter module with a small dc-link film capacitor was built in the laboratory with the proposed control and MPPT algorithm. Experimental results are given to validate the converter performance.

  • 인터넷 상에서의 보안문제는 거의 대부분이 사용자 데이터에 대한 보안에 초점이 맞추어져 있는 반면에, 인터넷의 원활한 운영에 중요한 골격을 이루는 라우팅 프로토콜의 안전성에 대한 연구는 그리 폭 넓게 행해지고 있지는 않다. 본 논문에서는 현재 인터넷에서 가장 보편적으로 사용되고 있는 Link-State 라우팅 프로토콜의 보안상의 문제점을 지적하고, 이를 위해서 제안된 기존의 일부 인증 메커니즘들의 기능 및 성능을 보완, 확장한 새로운 라우팅 메시지 인증 메커니즘을 제안한다. 이를 위해서 안전성 증명이 가능한 이중 해쉬체인의 개념을 도입하고 이에 기반을 둔 세션 해쉬체인을 통해서 라우팅 메시지에 대한 무결성 및 근원지 인증 서비스를 제공하는 방안을 소개한다.

2단 평행기구 로봇 암의 실시간 순방향 기구학 해석 (Real-time direct kinematics of a double parallel robot arm)

  • The determination of the direct kinematics of the parallel mechanism is a difficult problem but has to be solved for any practical use. This paper presents the efficient formulation of the direct kinematics for double parallel robot arm. The robot arm consists of two parallel mechanism, which generate positional and orientational motions, respectively. These motions are decoupled by a passive central axis which is composed of four revolute joints and one prismatic joint. For a set of given lengths of linear actuators, the direct kinematics will find the joint displacements of th central axis from geometric constraints in each parallel mechanism. Then the joint displacements will be converted into the position and the orientation of the end effector of the robot arm. The proposed formulation is decoupled and compacted so that it will be implemented as a real-time direct kinematics. With the proposed formulation, we analyze the motion of the double parallel robot and show its characteristics. Specially, we investigate the workspace in terms of positional space as well as orientational space.

A Novel Modulation Scheme and a DC-Link Voltage Balancing Control Strategy for T-Type H-Bridge Cascaded Multilevel Converters

  • The cascaded multilevel converter is widely adopted to medium/high voltage and high power electronic applications due to the small harmonic components of the output voltage and the facilitation of modularity. In this paper, the operation principle of a T-type H-bridge topology is investigated in detail, and a carrier phase shifted pulse width modulation (CPS-PWM) based control method is proposed for this topology. Taking a virtual five-level waveform achieved by a unipolar double frequency CPS-PWM as the output object, PWM signals of the T-type H-bridge can be obtained by reverse derivation according to its switching modes. In addition, a control method for the T-type H-bridge based cascaded multilevel converter is introduced. Then a single-phase T-type H-bridge cascaded multilevel static var generator (SVG) prototype is built, and a repetitive controller based compound current control strategy is designed with the DC-link voltage balancing control scheme analyzed. Finally, simulation and experimental results validate the correctness and feasibility of the proposed modulation method and control strategy for T-type H-bridge based cascaded multilevel converters.

The Security DV-Hop Algorithm against Multiple-Wormhole-Node-Link in WSN

  • Distance Vector-Hop (DV-Hop) algorithm is widely used in node localization. It often suffers the wormhole attack. The current researches focus on Double-Wormhole-Node-Link (DWNL) and have limited attention to Multi-Wormhole-Node-Link (MWNL). In this paper, we propose a security DV-Hop algorithm (AMLDV-Hop) to resist MWNL. Firstly, the algorithm establishes the Neighbor List (NL) in initialization phase. It uses the NL to find the suspect beacon nodes and then find the actually attacked beacon nodes by calculating the distances to other beacon nodes. The attacked beacon nodes generate and broadcast the conflict sets to distinguish the different wormhole areas. The unknown nodes take the marked beacon nodes as references and mark themselves with different numbers in the first-round marking. If the unknown nodes fail to mark themselves, they will take the marked unknown nodes as references to mark themselves in the second-round marking. The unknown nodes that still fail to be marked are semi-isolated. The results indicate that the localization error of proposed AMLDV-Hop algorithm has 112.3%, 10.2%, 41.7%, 6.9% reduction compared to the attacked DV-Hop algorithm, the Label-based DV-Hop (LBDV-Hop), the Secure Neighbor Discovery Based DV-Hop (NDDV-Hop), and the Against Wormhole DV-Hop (AWDV-Hop) algorithm.
