바나나의 품질 특성 및 한일 양국의 소비 현황에 관한 연구 (The Study on Characteristic Quality for banana and the both of Korea and Japan Consumption Condition)

  • The purpose of this study is for researching consumptions of the Korean and Japanese's consumers and qualities on the bananas which rank first in market share of the fruits market. The survey was conducted from the 180 Korean women living in Gangnam and Bundang. It was also compared and analyzed on the basis of data from the Japanese's R company. This analysis was done using SPSS 12.0 Vir. and analyzed according to its purposes. First, the difference between Korea and Japan in terms of bananas intake was studied. Second, consumption situations and types of Korean and Japanese's women were compared and analyzed. Therefore, this is the basic analytic study for finding out Korean consumers' recognitions and purchase behaviors on the bananas compared those of Japan. This will be utilized as useful material to understand the domestic consumers' consumption behaviors of the bananas which are one of the imported agricultural products.

타 과실 혼합에 따른 국내산 캠벨 포도주의 품질개선 (Quality Improvement of Campbell Early Wine by Mixing with Different Fruits)

  • 국내산 캠벨포도를 이용한 포도주의 품질을 개선하기위하여 머루, 블루베리, 복분자, 블랙커런트 등을 첨가하여 포도주를 제조하였다. 캠벨포도주의 색상은 이들 과실의 첨가에 의하여 많이 짙어지고 색이 좋아짐을 확인하였다. 복분자와 블랙커런트를 첨가하였을 경우 L값이 34에서 $6{\sim}13$으로 낮아졌으며 Q값도 54에서 $36{\sim}46$으로 낮아져 외국산 포도주의 검붉은 색과 거의 비슷한 색깔을 뗬다. 머루와 블루베리의 첨가 역시 캠벨포도주의 색을 짙게 하였으나 복분자나 블랙커런트보다는 그 효과가 미치지 못하였다. 또한 블랙커런트와 복분자의 첨가에 의하여 캠벨 포도주의 폴리페놀함량은 크게 높아졌는데 15일간의 발효 후 캠벨포도주의 경우 1.02 mg/mL의 폴리페놀을 함유한 반면 캠벨포도에 $15^{\circ}Brix$ 블랙커런트를 20% 첨가한 포도주의 경우 1.87 mg/mL로 폴리페놀함량이 크게 높아짐을 확인하였다. 관능검사 결과 역시 캠벨은 다른 포도 품종에 비하여 가장 낮은 품질특성을 나타냈지만 캠벨에 복분자, 블랙커런트, 머루 등을 첨가함으로써 색, 향, 맛 그리고 기호도 등 모든 면에서 포도주의 품질이 크게 개선이 됨을 확인하였다.

한·미 FTA가 한라봉 시장에 미치는 경제적 파급영향 분석 (An Analysis of Economic Impacts of Korea-US FTA on Hallabong Market)

  • 이 연구는 한·미 FTA 발효 이후 오렌지가 수입되어 집중적으로 판매되는 시기인 1월부터 5월까지 초점을 맞춰 오렌지 수입량 증가가 국내산 과일에 미치는 영향을 분석하고자 하였다. 본 연구에서는 미국산 오렌지와 경합 되는 국내산 과일로는 감귤류만으로 한정하였고, 그중 미국산 오렌지와 소비 시기가 일치하는 한라봉을 분석대상으로 선정하였다. 이를 위해 동태 축차적 시뮬레이션 모형을 구축하여 한·미 FTA 사후 영향평가 및 한라봉 시장의 중장기 전망을 실시하였다. 또한, 한라봉 시장에 미치는 주요 정책 시뮬레이션을 수행하여 각 시나리오별 파급영향을 계측하였다. 사후 영향평가결과, 한라봉은 주 출하기인 12월부터 2월 사이에는 오렌지 계절관세의 영향은 없으나 TRQ 물량의 영향으로 2012년~2017년 실질 조수입이 연평균 21.9억 원 감소한 것으로 나타났고, 6년 감소 누계액은 131.5억 원 수준인 것으로 나타났다. 주요 정책 시뮬레이션 분석결과, 미국의 오렌지 작황에 따른 수입단가 변화 및 한라봉 수출량 증대는 한라봉 시장의 규모를 증대시키고 이에 따라 소득증대 효과를 가져오는 것으로 나타났다.

국외 도입 열대·아열대 작물의 국내 재배실태 및 과제 (Current Situations and Prospects on the Cultivation Program of Tropical and Subtropical Crops in Korea)

  • 기후변화 적응과정에서 도입 작물의 국내 재배실태를 조사하고 대응과제를 도출코져본 연구를 수행하였으며, 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 도입 열대 아열대 채소 재배현황(2015년 기준)은 18작목으로 재배농가수는 920농가, 재배면적은 321 ha로 조사 추정되었고, 재배면적이 많았던 작물은 울금, 여주, 아스파라거스, 삼채, 허브류 순이었다. 도입 열대 아열대 과수류 재배 현황은 2015년 국내재배 농가수와 재배면적은 264농가 106.5 ha로 추정되며, 전년대비 각각 51.7%와 83.7% 증가하였다. 도입 특약용작물 재배현황(2015년 기준)은 10작물로 753농가에서 재배면적 276.3 ha로 조사 되었으며 재배면적이 많았던 작물은 강황, 감초, 마카, 모링가, 포포나무 순이었다. 도입 열대 아열대 작물의 국내 재배가 안정적으로 정착되기 위해서는 국내 재배적응성 검정에 의거 재배환경면에서의 안전성과 경제성이 있어야 하며, 생산물의 이용과 유통 및 판로의 확보 문제, 외국현지 수입산과의 경쟁력 등을 고려할 필요가 있고, 국가 간 이동에 따른 생물다양성협약 등 국제협약 및 국내 종자산업법에 의하여 도입되어야 할 것이다.

토종닭에서 가금콜레라(Fowl Cholera) 발생 (Outbreak of Fowl Cholera in native chickens)

  • Fowl cholera(FC), which has been classified as reportable animal disease in Korea, occurred in the backyard farm located in Chungju, Chungbuk province. The farm was not ordinary domestic poultry farm but backyard farm with main cultivation of fruits. The farmer reported unusual mortality of chickens which were grazed in his own fruit farm without any poultry house. There was a lots of opportunities to contact with wild animals including wild birds freely. Clinical signs observed in the chickens were torticolis, mucous excretion from mouth and greenish diarrhea. On the necropsy we found multifocal necrosis on the surface of liver, hemorrhages in the epicardium and ovary and mucopurulent exudates in the joint. The causative agents was isolated from the liver of chickens collected from the farms and identified as Pasteurella multocida using biochemical tests of bacteria. Also, the isolated bacteria were inoculated into specific pathogen free chickens to evaluate the pathogenicity. High mortality and similar pathological lesions compared to those of chickens died in the farm were observed. We report the first case of fowl cholera of the chickens in Korea and further studies are needed to evaluate the serotype, genotype and pathogenicity of isolated Pasteurella multocida.

감 착즙액 첨가량과 가수량에 따른 감막걸리의 특성 (Characteristics Of Persimmon Makgeolli Based On The Amount Of Water And Persimmon Juice Added)

  • With the steady growth in the scale of the domestic traditional liquor industry, the interest in makgeolli has also been increasing. As the demand for makgeolli increases, interest in manufacturing differentiated makgeolli by adding additional raw materials such as fruits is increasing. In this study, makgeolli with low storage persimmon juice was manufactured, and the sweet taste of persimmon was imparted without adding sweeteners. Unsweetened, high-quality persimmon makgeolli with an alcohol content of 15% or more was manufactured and its quality characteristics were analyzed. Yeast was selected after producing fermented yeast by treating domestic isolated yeast and commercial yeast. Upon producing fermented yeast, persimmon makgeolli was manufactured by varying the amount of persimmon juice added to the fermented yeast. As a result of analyzing the quality characteristics of persimmon makgeolli, the pH was 4.02-4.25, the total acid (citric acid, %) was 0.30-0.43, the amino acidity (glycine, %) range was 0.05-0.15, and the alcohol content (%) was 15.64-18.48.(p<0.05). Reducing sugar (%) was 1.82-12.68 and total sugar (%) was 1.41-10.42, exhibiting a tendency to increase as the amount of reducing sugar and total sugar and the amount of juice added increased (p<0.05). Considering the sensory characteristics, a sample with 50% persimmon juice added showed a significantly higher residual sugar content, and the residual sugar content had a positive effect on the sensory characteristics. Therefore, 50% persimmon juice was added when making persimmon makgeolli. It is suitable for high-quality, non-sweetened persimmon makgeolli that preserves the taste of persimmon, which suits the consumers'taste.

Korea's Capital Market Promotion Policies: IPOs and Other Supplementary Policy Experiences

  • This paper studies a series of capital market promotion policies Korea pursued over a 30-year period during its development era (1960s - 1980s). The purpose of this paper is twofold. The first purpose is to understand the policy approaches Korea took, and the second is to extract lessons that can benefit policymakers in the developing world, where capital market promotion is an important policy goal. There are two key features of Korea's capital market promotion policies. First, the government was actively involved, sometimes indirectly by giving tax incentives to encourage IPOs. However, in other times, it was directly involved by giving IPO orders and threatening those that did not comply. No stock exchange in a developed country has ever experienced such government involvement. Combined with rapid economic growth, this interventionist approached allowed the Korean stock market to experience phenomenal growth over a short period of time. Second, the capital market promotion policies had multiple objectives. One was to mobilize domestic capital for economic development. Another was to lower firms' debt-to-equity ratios. Most interestingly, however, the Korean government wanted to popularize stock ownership, thereby allowing ordinary Koreans to share in the fruits of economic growth.

산업용 수용가의 에너지저장장치 적용 (Application of Energy Storage System for Industrial Customer)

  • The ESS is composed of Battery Package, PCS(Power Conditioning System) Package, BCU(BESS Control Unit). In Jeju smart grid test-bed, we have developed a business model by ESS power system, renewable energy, transportation, such as customers, and have demonstrated above things. We have analyzed the EMS(Energy Management System) model of KPX where manages supply and demand of domestic electrical power system. We modified and launched EMS for microgrid but the cost was expensive and the system was large size. For releasing this system from industry as a whole, it is imperative to develop PMS(Power Management System) for microgrid. However, the cost of EMS for microgrid is expensive, some systems because it is a large development of the all of the first fruits in urgent PMS(Power Management System) for microgrid to be used in industry in general. Therefore, in this paper, we propose the ESS model considering the power systems characteristics and extensibility in korea. and also we propose the PMS to manage the ESS systems.

Production of high dissolved O2/O3 with rotating wheel entraining gas method for environmental application

  • There is a significant demand to make various dissolved gases in water. However, the conventional aeration method shows low gas mass transfer rate and gas utilization efficiency. In this study, a novel rotating wheel entraining gas method was developed for making high dissolved $O_2$ and $O_3$ in water. It produced higher concentration and higher transfer rate of dissolved $O_2$ and $O_3$ than conventional bubble aeration method, especially almost 100% of gas transfer efficiency was achieved for $O_3$ in enclosed reactor. For application of rotating wheel entraining gas method, aerobic bio-reactor and membrane bio-reactor (MBR) were successfully used for treatment of domestic and pharmaceutical wastewater, respectively; and vacuum ultraviolet $(VUV)/UV+O_3/O_2$ reactors were well used for sterilization in air/water, removal of dust particles and toxic gases in air, and degradation of pesticide residue and sterilization on fruits and vegetables.

중자장급 보급형 국산 초전도 MRI 마그네트 개발 (The Development of Popular type Domestic Superconducting MRI Magnet with Middle Magnetic Field Range)

  • The research results on the superconducting magnet for whole body MRI are presented. The magnet consists of main coil with 6 solenoid coils, shielding coil with 2 solenoid coils and 6 sets of cryogenic shim coil. The ferromagnetic shim assembly is installed on the inside wall of the room temperature bore for shimming inhomogeneous field components generated due to manufacturing tolerances, installation misalignments and external ferromagnetic materials near the magnet. Also, the magnet is enclosed with the horizontal type cryostat with 80cm room temperature bore to keep the magnet under the operating temperature. The magnetic field distributions within the imaging volume were measured by the NMR field mapping system. Through the test, the central field of magnet was 1.5 Tesla and the field homogeneity of 9.3 ppm has been obtained on 40cm DSV(the diameter of spherical volume) and using this magnet, comparatively good images for human body, fruits and water phantoms have been achieved.
