국내 과실의 택배 유통환경 특성 (Characteristics of Domestic Distribution Environment for Parcel Delivery Service of Fruits)

  • Agricultural products packaged for transportation are put in the various dangerous environments owing to the damage factors like vibration, shock, compression, climate etc. under the distribution process. On fruits packaging for transportation, especially, the shock and vibration is considered as the most important damage factors. A major cause of shock damage to fruits is drops during manual handling. Especially, the damages of fruits during the parcel delivery service are very serious. The parcel delivery services of fruits are increasing and contribute to increasing of farm house earning. Also, the freight vehicle is mostly used to transport the fruits. Shock and impact generated by the freight vehicle may give serious damage to fruits. The optimum packaging design of parcel delivery service of fruits during transportation is required to reduce the fruits damages. In order to design the packaging system for parcel delivery service of fruits considering the transportation environment, the comprehension of characteristics for vibration and shock generated by manual handling and acting on transportation vehicles under various road conditions and loading methods is required. This research was performed to analyze the shock characteristics, acceleration level and power spectral density (PSD) during the parcel delivery service of fruits. The overall level of recommended PSD profile in a specific transportation of parcel delivery service for fruits was $0.63G_{rms}$.

과실류의 생산 및 가공현황과 신가공기술 (The Status of Production and Processing of Fruits and New Processing Technology)

  • 새로운 가공품의 개발방향을 제시하고 또한 국내산 과일가공품의 가격경쟁력을 높일 수 있는 방안을 찾기 위하여 과일류의 생산현황과 가공량, 가공품목 및 신 가공기술 등에 대하여 알아보았다. 소득증가로 전체소비량은 증가하고 있으나 국내산 과일류의 가공량은 해마다 줄어들고 있어 새로운 가공기술과 다양한 가공품의 개발이 절실히 요구되고 있다. 외국산 과일류가 대량수입 되면서 국내산 과일류의 가격경쟁력은 점차 떨어지고 있다. 과일의 재배면적이나 생산량뿐만 아니라 가공율도 점차 줄어들고 있으며 가공품목 또한 몇 가지로 제한되어 있어 생산업체가 영세성을 벗어나지 못하고 있다. 또한 농산물의 신가공기술로 적용할 수 있는 고전압 펄스 전기장(high voltage pulsed electric fields, PEF), 초고압(high hydrostatic pressure), 통전가열(ohmic heating), 막분리(membrane seperation), 마이크로웨이브(microwave) 등에 대하여 알아보았다. 이러한 비열 처리 기술 즉, 최소 가공기술(minimal processing technology)들을 농산물 가공에 이용함으로서 다양한 농산가공품의 개발은 물론 품질을 높일 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

  • This study proposed a logistics plan for sending supply to be distributed to areas other than producing areas to wholesalers and allocating supply to be distributed to areas near producing areas to local distribution center in the vicinity instead of shipping the entire quantity to wholesalers for fruits auction to increase the competitive edge of the domestic fruits and vegetables logistics market in the ear of infinite competition. A video auction-based short distance division logistics operation model was developed to enhance competitiveness related to the circulation of fruits and vegetables, reduce logistics costs, and rationalize logistics by distributing the items sent to wholesalers through field auction and the shipments at local distribution center to neighboring areas through video auction connected to wholesalers real-time. The study especially came up with a logistics rationalization plan by examining and analyzing the stages and costs of transportation between producing areas and wholesalers on the circulation routes of fruits.

FTA 시대 국내 열대과일 재배의 타당성 연구 : 망고를 중심으로 (A Feasibility Study on the Cultivation of Tropical Fruit in Korea: Focused on Mango)

  • 본 연구는 SWOT 분석을 이용하여 망고 사례를 중심으로 국내 열대과일 재배의 타당성을 분석하였다. 국내 열대과일(망고) 재배의 기회 요인은 기후온난화로 국내 재배환경이 개선되었고, 국내 수요 증가로 소비시장이 확대되고 있으며, 일부 지자체에서 새로운 틈새작목으로 육성 및 지원하고 있다는 것이다. 그 외의 강점은 국내에서 신선한 고품질 상품 생산이 가능하고, 아직까지 소량 유통되어 수입산과 차별화되고, 국산 소비 매니아층이 형성되어 있으며, 약용 기능성 과일로 인식된다는 점이다. 위협 요인은 FTA 이행으로 수입산의 가격경쟁력이 더욱 강화되고, 폭설, 한파 등 이상기후로 인한 생산기반 약화가 우려된다는 것이다. 그 외의 약점은 초기 투자비용이 많이 투입되고, 광열비 등의 경영비 부담이 크고, 국내에 농약, 비료 등의 전문 농자재 공급체계와 재배기술 보급시스템이 부재하며, 판로 확보가 어렵다는 점이다. 망고를 비롯한 열대과일이 국내 과수산업의 한 축으로 성장하기 위해서는 이러한 강점과 기회 요인을 적극 활용하는 한편, '생산요소 투입-생산-가공 유통-판매'로 이어지는 가치사슬(value chain)의 각 단계별 약점을 보완하고 위협 요인에 대처해야 한다.

과실 병해충에 대한 공적방제조치의 가치분석 (Economic Valuation of Official Management for Invasive Insects and Diseases in Fruits)

  • The objective of this study is to estimate the economic value of official management and control for invasive insects and diseases in fruits. The direct and indirect effect of this control measure can be the changes in price of fruits and related goods, changes in export volume of domestic fruits, changes in total volume of fruit production, and reduce the risk in food safety. The contingent valuation method with the single-bounded dichotomous choice is employed to estimate each household's willingness-to-pay (WTP) to maintain official management and control measures. The total number of sample consists 2,050 respondents between the ages of 19-60 years, and the survey is conducted using Web-based survey. The estimated results for mean WTP is 5,443won per month per household. Therefore, the total economic value of official management and control on fruit in Korea is estimated to be approximately 94.4 billion won per month.

오렌지 수입이 국내산 과일 및 과채 가격에 미친 영향 (An Effect of Orange Import on Domestic Fruits and Vegetables Price in Korea)

  • A Linear Approximated Inverse Almost Ideal Demand System, suggested by Eales and Unnevehr, is estimated with monthly data set of Korean fruits consumption. LA/IAIDS consists of 6 demand equations which correspond to domestically produced Hanrabong, overwintering mandarin, strawberry, melon and tomato with imported orange. The results indicate that price and scale flexibilities are negative, as expected. And the significance is that a 10% increase in imported orange quantity is associated with 5.5% declines in the price of Korean Hanrabong while the price of other fruits is minimally affected. In addition, the estimate of scale flexibility of Hanrabong (-2.96) is much smaller than any other fruit. Hanrabong farmer might be in the face of deficit operation as a consequence of the substitution effect if orange would be imported in accordance with the Korea-U.S. free trade agreement.

숯 가공 포장재가 배의 품질변화에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Packaging Materials Processed with Oak Charcoal on the Quality of Oriental Pears during Storage and Distribution)

  • The packaging of fruits is very important because appropriate packaging can optimize the maintenance of freshness of fruits during their distribution in low or normal temperatures until the products reach consumers. The focus of this study was on the use of functional packaging materials for the post-harvest maintenance of the freshness of fruits. Oak charcoal has excellent far infrared emission and ethylene absorption qualities, and we developed a charcoal-processing packaging linerboard to evaluate the possibility for the use of charcoal as a functional packaging material for pears. Oriental pears of the Niitaka cultivar used in this study account for about 70% of pears harvested every year, and are a very popular domestic fruit in Korea. Pears packaged in packaging materials processed with charcoal were of significantly higher quality (p<0.05) than those packaged with conventional packaging materials, suggesting that charcoal-processed packaging materials can be used as functional packaging material for extending the storability and distribution time of fruits. Charcoal-coated linerboard was shown to be the most appropriate packaging material based on its compression strength, ethylene absorption performance, and the firmness and minimal weight loss of pears.
