This study is to investigate and analyze the service quality and satisfaction perceived by users and librarians of the Foreign Research Information Center (FRIC). The survey results reveal that three groups of in-campus (internal) user group, external user group and interlibrary loan librarian group has highly perceived the service quality and satisfaction of the FRIC. Two user groups have statistically significant different perceptions on the service quality, loyalty, and satisfaction. Internal user group perceived more highly than external user group, in 6 items of satisfaction, 1 item of loyalty, and 7 items of service quality. Structural equation models of satisfaction and loyalty on two user groups were proved to be appropriate. Material factor including success rate of copied text and general physical status of the copy influences significantly on the user satisfaction in both groups.

Recently, the W3C has developed the HTML5 standard which gives the basis for providing various web applications on the web environments. Because of the advent of the smart devices and the broadband wireless network, users can accesse the web applications on the smart devices at anytime and anywhere. In addition, the demand on the multiscreen services, which enables users to use the appropriate device to their situation, has increased, since users have various smart devices. In this paper, we propose the grouping mechanism of web objects on the HTML5 based web platform, the extraction mechanism of the web object information which is used to create the web object on other devices, and the web object creation mechanism based on the received web object information. In addition, we propose the web service migration architecture between devices on the open web platform and implement the grouping, extraction and creation mechanism of the web objects on the test web document and generic web document with Chrome extension. Finally, we implement the delivery mechanism of the web object information between devices using the node.js and the WebSocket technologies.

Recently as the studies on the combined delivery over multiple transmission media are progressed, studies using MMT which is next-generation multimedia transport standard are underway. They are about transmitting video data layered by SHVC through broadcasting network and communication network based on MMT. However, it is difficult to serve synchronized UHD contents in heterogeneous network environment based on MMT, because MMT standard doesn't fully specify the information to indicate the relationship between media. Also, the service that we want to propose in this paper is a broadcasting-based service such as terrestrial broadcasting. Therefore the user must be able to watch various contents continuously. However, the MMT PI(Presentation Information) that controls the spatio-temporal layout of a content has been described as providing only one content. In this paper, we propose the structure of MXD document and MMT PI to provide continuous UHD contents service based on heterogeneous network.

The purpose of this study is to raise the importance of information literacy programs for professional secretaries and to present guidelines for organizing them. While the level of projects in secretaries' information service is defined as an influencing factor to the necessity of information literacy programs, the level of scholarships or secretarial science as a major is not. An analysis on education needs of secretaries recommended that curriculum should be composed of 15 topics such as: meta search engines, special search engines, boolean operators, digital libraries, usenet, information centers, internet reference sources, SDI, topic search request, document delivery service, e-journals, commercial databases, fulltext service, search strategy and general search engines.

Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information (KISTI) is the national information center that has collected, analyzed and managed Science and Technology information resources comprehensively since 1962. KISTI has conducted several researches and made "KISTI Information Resources Development Policy" in order to select overseas S&T core journals. This paper aims to develop overseas S&T core journals that have not distributed in the country as the part of this effort. This paper analyses the documents requested to KISTI and delivered from overseas information centers for the last 6 years. This paper selects overseas S&T core journals based on the domestic request through conducting journal usage analysis, citation analysis, and cost effectiveness analysis.

In this research, several ways of creating effective STI(Scientific ＆ Technological Information) databases were suggested. We put emphasis on the selection of input data, while on the other was handled, such factors as standardization for data entry, data entry system, etc.. In order to decide priority of target data, the status of document delivery service was analyzed. The result shows that conference proceedings were given priority to academic journals. In case of journals, ranking in the number of documents requested at KORDIC (Korea R＆D Information Center) and 16 Specialized Information Centers was compared with the ranking in citation frequency and impact factor, appeared at SCI.

The purpose of this empirical case study is to explore what factors affect on the economic valuation of academic journals and to ascertain the degree of each impact. For this study, factors were categorized into three groups: internal factors external factors and demand theory factors. The on-line questionnaire was used to collect data and 383 responded from individual users of and the persons in charge of the DDS(Document Delivery Service). Collected data were analyzed using SPSS 12.0 for Windows/PC. The result showed that there exist a strong relationship between the internal factors of academic journals(i.e., Impact Factor, Cost, and Language) and economic valuation in terms of its use value.

The mobile electronic notification service delivers notifications through mobile phone text or app-based message push to solve various problems of the paper-based mail service. And it is a service that an electronic document relay company proves to prove delivery. In order for public and administrative agencies to provide mobile electronic notification service, the user's identification information of the mobile phone number or the subscribed app is required. To overcome these limitations, ICT-regulated sandbox system was used to allow collective conversion of users' resident registration numbers into connecting information (CI). Therefore, in this paper, we propose a technical method for safe management of user CI in mobile electronic notice service, identity verification of electronic notice readers, and prevention of forgery and forgery of electronic notices. Through the proposed method, it is confirmed that the service can be activated by minimizing the adverse function of the mobile electronic notification service by securing the user's convenience and technical safety for the CI.

The purpose of this study was to analyse beginning science teachers' PCK. For the purpose of this study, two beginning science teachers were chosen in public middle school. Qualitative data were collected through classroom observation recording, semi-structured interviews, and other document data. Data were analysed using the constant comparative method. The results indicated that the two beginning science teachers' PCK had little differences; both have insufficient knowledge of science curriculum and assessment, and their PCK had quite differences in the instructional strategies and the orientations toward teaching science. Though they were aware of students' various levels, their common teaching method focused on delivery of science text knowledge for poor understanding about student. In conclusion, the two beginning teachers' PCK were still similar with preservice teachers. To develop beginning teachers' PCK, it needs to change the paradigm of pre-service teachers education program and to expand in-service teachers training and supporting program.

Considering a trend of logistics and transport industry in these days, it can be said that international express courier service is one of the most familiar transport type to the general public. Especially in Korea, due to development of electronic commercial transaction and the popularity of television home shopping, it can easily anticipated that express courier business will continuously grown in the future. However, the legal basis for international express courier is not properly set up so far. The only clause about this can be found on Korean Aviation Law said as 'commercial documents delivery business'. The origin of the commercial documents delivery business in Aviation Law is to make exception from public postal services which has been exclusive status as monopoly based on the Korean Postal Law. Basically, according to this regulation, all the private postal delivery is prohibited except some sort of commercial documents such as consignment notes, packing list, invoice etc. Thus, those documents could be delivered not only by public postal services but also by private courier company according to the Korean Postal Law. This waiver has probably come from under developing condition of Korean postal circumstances, however it should be revised according to the modernized business practice. Reflecting these revisions, the articles of Korean Postal Law adopted 'international express courier document' as the exception of postal service. Therefore, Korean Aviation Law also needs to be revised as Postal Law in due course. In addition to revision of Korean Aviation Law, some sort of new legislation is required to govern the private legal aspects such as legal liabilities, duties and rights of each parties on international express courier. This should be governed by 'law' not by 'terms and conditions' provided by business operators. Furthermore, to support and develop the current domestic logistics companies as international express courier company, it is required to regulate with the separate express courier law.
