The strategy of regional industrial specialization is empirically evaluated by examining the relationship between regional industrial structures and economic performances. The regional industrial structure is measured by three industrial diversity indices such as ogive approach, entropy maximizing approach, and economic growth and employment instability in 12 regions is analyzed. According to the time series analysis, we found that the region with more diversified industrial structure experiences more stable in employment. Otherwise, the growth rate of the region with more simplified industrial structure is higher. Therefore, the strategy of industrial specialization is implemented in order to pursuit a rapid economic growth in the short run.

이 글에서는 먼저 경쟁과 다양성이 미디어 정책의 구체적인 수단을 규정한 방송관련법이 추구하는 주된 목적이 된다는 것을 전제로 하여 각각의 개념과 구성요소 그리고 그 제도적 구현의 모습을 살펴보고, 특정분야의 경쟁법으로서의 방송관련법에서는 경쟁 목적이 차별성 요인을 갖는 한편 다양성 가치도 특수성을 갖는다는 논의를 전개한다. 다음으로 경쟁과 다양성 가치를 조화롭게 실현하기 위해서는 방송시장 특유의 구조적 규제수단을 포함하는 특별한 경쟁규칙이 필요하다고 전제하면서, 방송관련법상 경쟁 목적 규제와 다양성 목적 규제에 대하여 개선되어야 할 방향을 다음과 같이 제시한다. 첫째, 경쟁 목적 규제의 개선 방안이다. 사전적인 상태적 규제로서의 시청점유율 규제와 사후적인 행위규제로서의 금지행위 규제는 다양성 가치를 추구하면서도 원인적 규제를 대체하는 데 중요한 역할을 할 수 있다. 이를 위하여 공정거래법의 위법성 판단방식을 유추하여 다양성 관련 요소를 금지행위의 위법성 판단기준의 고려요소로 하는 방식을 구체적으로 개발할 필요가 있다. 둘째, 다양성 목적 규제의 개선 방안이다. 이는 규제 목적의 설정, 대체가능한 규제수단의 식별, 규제 목적에 맞는 규제수단과 규제수준의 선택이라는 3가지 관점에서 검토될 수 있다. 이러한 관점에서 다양성 가치가 단순한 수사적 도구에 그치지 않고 평가 및 분석 도구로 사용될 수 있는 제도적 수단 위주로 규제 틀을 개선하는 한편, 경쟁과 같은 경제적 목적과의 조화를 고려할 때 불합리해 보이는 규제에 대하여는 이를 유지할 것인가 또는 어느 정도로 유지할 것인가를 신중하게 재검토해야 한다.

The purpose of this study is to provide an explanation for the association between the characteristics of a network and the type of innovation by considering the effect of absorptive capacity. To do so, this study examined the moderating effects of absorptive capacity on the characteristics of network-innovation relationship in a technical-driven venture company. In order to obtain a better understanding about consequences caused by interfirm network, information was obtained from 169 Korean IT venture companies. Results confirmed that the network diversity is positively associated with exploration. Our results also suggested that the network strength is positively associated with exploitation. Finally, we found a positive two-way interaction between absorptive capacity and the network diversity-exploration relationship. Then, we discussed implications and directions for future research.

본 논문에서는 0~360도까지의 모든 방향으로부터 신호광을 수신할 수 있는 수광각 다이버시티 무선광검출기를 구성하였다. 8개의 포토다이오드를 사용하여 수광각 다이버시티를 구성하고 수광각에 따른 검출전압의 변동을 줄이기 위하여 디지털가변저항을 사용하여 출력전압을 안정화하였다. 안정화상태에서 수광각에 따른 전압 변동은 최대검출전압의 약 1/10 이내로 유지되었다. 이 구조는 무선광연결에서 전방향수신기를 구현하는 데에 매우 유용하게 사용될 수 있다.

In this paper, we propose a temporal diversity scheme based on the vector perturbation for a multiuser multipleinput multiple-output (MIMO) broadcasting system. Our method is inspired by the fact that precoding process of the vector perturbation designed to suppress the multiuser interference causes a reduction of the transmitted signal power. In order to boost up the transmit power, we employ a non-integer based vector perturbation together with temporal transmit diversity. We show from the simulation on 10${\times}$10 multiuser MIMO system that the proposed method outperforms the epetition coded vector perturbation scheme as well as the standard vector perturbation.

레일레이 페이딩 채널에서 전력제한을 받는 기회전송 유무에 따른 협동 다중 릴레이 시스템의 성능을 연구하였다. 전제 네트워크의 전력이 제한되었을 때 3가지의 전력 할당방법을 검토하였고, 그 결과 기회전송 전력 할당방식이 다른 전력할당방식에 비해서 가장 좋은 성능을 나타내었다. 전체 네트워크의 전력이 증가할 경우 기회전송 릴레이가 증가하였고, 기회 협동 다이버시티의 차수를 증가시키게 되며, 결국 종단간 성능이 개선됨을 알 수 있었다.

A new diversity technique is proposed for multi-user single-input single-output (SISO) orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) uplink system. Each user transmit a symbol using frequency band of all users that are active in the uplink. In addition, a receiver detect each signal using maximum likelihood (ML) method. Simulation results show that the proposed technique improves a diversity order without an additional bandwidth and a loss of data rate.

고속의 데이터 전송에 대한 채널의 왜곡을 보상하기 위해 다중 경로 다이버시티 수신을 수행하였다. 다이버시티 가지에 보상 알고리즘을 결합한 수신 구조를 갖는 DS/BPSK 시스템을 구성하고 시스템의 성능을 SNR에 따른 평균 비트 에러율 관점에서 평가하였다. 상호부호간 간섭을 극복하기 위해 L 개의 다이버시티 가지에 비선형 탭 지연선 구조를 사용하고 보상 알고리즘에 따라 탭 계수가 시변채널에 적응하도록 하였다. 그 결과 일반적인 보상 알고리즘에 비해 제안한 알고리즘의 평균 비트 에러율이 $10^{-2}$ 정도 개선되었다.

본 논문에서는 다중경로 고속페이딩 채널에서 DS-CDMA 시스템의 반송파 회복 신호가 불안전할 때 시스템의 에러성능을 개선한다. 이 경우에 반송파 위상 에러와 이동 무선 페이딩을 극복하기 위하여 위상추정, 다이버시티와 적응형 FEC((Forward Error Correction) 코드 기법을 사용한다. 결과에 의하면 다이버시티와 컨벌루션 부호를 사용하여 위상 에러에 의한 성능을 만족할 만큼의 성능을 개선함을 확인 할 수 있었다.

In this paper, we propose a new channel estimation scheme for amplify and forward cooperative diversity with relay selection. In order to select best relay, it is necessary to know channel state information (CSI) at the destination. Most of the previous works, however, assume that perfect CSI is available at the destination. In addition, when the number of relay is increased it is difficult to estimate CSI through all relays within coherence time of a channel because of the large amount of frame overhead for channel estimation. In a proposed channel estimation scheme, each terminal has distinct pilot signal which is orthogonal each other. By using orthogonal property of pilot signals, CSI is estimated over two pilot signal transmission phases so that frame overhead is reduced significantly. Due to the orthogonal property among pilot signals, estimation error does not depend on the number of relays. Simulation result shows that the proposed channel estimation scheme provides accurate CSI at the destination.
