어린이도서관의 이용자편익과 이용자특성간의 상호관계에 관한 연구 (Study on Mutual Relation Between the User Benefit and the User's Characteristics in the Children's Library)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 이용자편익기준의 이론적 타당성을 확인하고, 이용자편익기준과 어린이발달영역과의 상호관계를 검증함으로써, 이용자편익기준이 어린이도서관의 이용자편익기준으로 적용될 수 있음을 확인하는 것이다. 이 목적을 위해 이 연구는 전국 어린이도서관 이용자 247명을 대상으로 자료를 수집하였으며, 구조방정식모형으로 분석하였다. 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 신체발달-행동의 용이성, 정서발달-생리적 유지성, 인지발달-지각적 유지성, 사회성발달-사회적 용이성의 대응관계는 적합하였다. 둘째, 편의성, 안전성, 다양성은 행동의 용이성, 자존감, 쾌적성, 편안함은 생리적 유지성, 심미감, 역동성, 융통성은 지각적 유지성, 휴식성, 소통성, 영역성은 사회적 용이성의 측정지표로 타당하였다. 셋째, 신체발달을 선호할수록 행동의 용이성을, 정서발달을 선호할수록 생리적 유지성을, 인지발달을 선호할수록 지각적 유지성을, 사회성 발달을 선호할수록 사회적 용이성을 선호하였다.

울릉도 희귀.특산 식물 섬현호색의 유전적 다양성과 구조 (Genetic Diversity and Structure of a Rare and Endemic, Spring Ephemeral Plant Corydalis filistipes Nakai of Ullung Island in Korea)

  • 울릉도의 특산 식물종으로서 희귀식물종이며, 춘계 단명성 식물로서 개미에 의해 종자 산포가 이루어지는 섬현호색(Corydalis filistipes Nakai) 4개의 아집단에 대하여 합리적인 보전 및 관리 대책 수립을 위하여 9 개의 동위효소 marker를 이용하여 유전적 다양성과 구조를 분석하였다. 그 결과 평균 대립 유전자의 수(A)는 1.73개, 95% 수준에서 다형적 유전자좌의 비율은(P)은 61.2%, 이형접합체의 평균 관측치(Ho)는 0.201, 기대치(He)는 0.167로서 분포역이 넓은 특산 식물 종들에 비해서는 낮은 수준이지만, 섬에 고립된 유사한 생활사를 갖는 특산식물 종들에 비해서는 높은 유전적 다양도를 유지하고 있는데, 그 이유는 소집단이기는 하나 적정수준의 개체수가 유지되고 있고, 타가수정을 주로 하며 개미에 의해 종자 산포가 이루어져 적응력이 높고, 또한 폐쇄화에 의한 유 무성 번식 체계를 겸하기 때문인 것으로 판단된다. 그리고 유전적 구조분석 결과 아집단내($F_{IS}$)와 전체 아집단($F_{IT}$)의 근친교 배계수가 각각 -0.1889 와 -0.1226로서 H-W의 평형구조에 비해 이형접합자의 빈도가 높았으며, 아집단간 유전적 분화도는 매우 낮은($F_{ST}=0.0557$)결과를 보였다. 그리고 우리나라 희귀 및 특산 식물종인 섬현호색의 유전적 변이의 유지 기작과 합리적인 보전과 관리 대책을 논의하였다.

울릉도 섬잣나무-솔송나무림의 구조 및 하층식생의 종 다양성 (Structure and Understory Species Diversity of Pinus parviflora - Tsuga sieboldii Forest in Ulleung Island)

  • 본 연구에서는 울릉도 태하령의 섬잣나무-솔송나무림에서 10개의 영구방형구($10m{\times}10m$) 및 30개의 소방 형구($1m{\times}3m$)를 설치하여 임분구조, 식생조성 및 종다양성을 밝히며 종다양성 모형을 수립하였다. 섬잣나무-솔송나무 임분의 광량은 평균 $3.7mol{\cdot}m^{-2}{\cdot}day^{-1}$, 수관 열림도는 평균 8.6 %로 분석되었다. Mantel 검정 결과, 임분 상층의 구조가 장기적으로 지속되기 어려울 것으로 나타났다. 하층식생의 조성은 지상부의 구조 및 토양 나출도와 유의한 상관을 나타내었다. 중회귀분석을 통한 종다양성 모형에서 섬잣나무의 양적 요인(단면적 및 밀도) 및 숲 바닥 조건이 유의한 예측변수로 분석되었다. 섬잣나무-솔송나무림의 유지에는 비교적 큰 규모의 교란이 필요할 것으로 생각되며, 종다양성을 유지하기 위해서는 여우꼬리사초 및 큰두루미꽃과 같은 단일 군반을 형성하는 교란지 종의 확장을 제어하는 것이 필요하다.

Promising Pharmacological Directions in the World of Lysophosphatidic Acid Signaling

  • Lysophosphatidic acid (LPA) is a signaling lipid that binds to six known lysophosphatidic acid receptors (LPARs), named $LPA_1-LPA_6$. These receptors initiate signaling cascades relevant to development, maintenance, and healing processes throughout the body. The diversity and specificity of LPA signaling, especially in relation to cancer and autoimmune disorders, makes LPA receptor modulation an attractive target for drug development. Several LPAR-specific analogues and small molecules have been synthesized and are efficacious in attenuating pathology in disease models. To date, at least three compounds have passed phase I and phase II clinical trials for idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis and systemic sclerosis. This review focuses on the promising therapeutic directions emerging in LPA signaling toward ameliorating several diseases, including cancer, fibrosis, arthritis, hydrocephalus, and traumatic injury.

무선통신 기반의 열차제어시스템 성능 향상을 위한 Alamouti 방식 적용에 관한 연구 (The Study of Alamouti Transmission for Improvement of Wireless Communication Based Train Control (CBTC) System)

  • CBTC(Communication-Based Train Control) system which is based on wireless communication can provide high density operation of the train using location tracking between ground and onboard train. It can also reduces maintenance expense because it does not require the ground equipment for tracking circuit and signal flag and so on. Recently, research and interest have been done on CBTC system. The high-speed trains up to 300km/h experience multi-path fading channel which bring about the performance degradation of wireless CBTC system. In this paper, we consider MIMO (Multi-Input Multi-Output) antenna-based CBTC system for trains with Alamoutip-type space-time diversity transmission for reliable communication. Also we model a channel considering practical environment and evaluate performance improvement of proposed CBTC system.

A Study on Water Quality after Proper Maintenance of the Stream

  • This study was conducted to investigate water quality after construction of straightened concrete block at Tongbok stream and difference of water quality between natural stream and municipal stream artificially straightened. In Tongbok upstream which was natural block having a variety of sand, there was ability to purify pollutants by microorganism and filtration. There was ability to purify pollutants in natural section of the natural midstream which have a diversity and a plenty of sands. In Tongbok upstream BOD concentration was lower than that of reservoir, but in midstream which was straightened concrete block without sand, BOD and NH$_3$-N concentration was higher than that of upstream and deteriorated water quality.

Knowledge Extractions, Visualizations, and Inference from the big Data in Healthcare and Medical

  • The purpose of this study is to develop a composite platform for knowledge extractions, visualizations, and inference. Generally, the big data sets were frequently used in the healthcare and medical area. To help the knowledge managers/users working in the field, this study is focused on knowledge management (KM) based on Data Mining (DM), Knowledge Distribution Map (KDM), Decision Tree (DT), RDBMS, and SQL-inference. The proposed mechanism is composed of five key processes. Firstly, in Knowledge Parsing, it extracts logical rules from a big data set by using DM technology. Then it transforms the rules into RDB tables. Secondly, through Knowledge Maintenance, it refines and manages the knowledge to be ready for the computing of knowledge distributions. Thirdly, in Knowledge Distribution process, we can see the knowledge distributions by using the DT mechanism.Fourthly, in Knowledge Hierarchy, the platform shows the hierarchy of the knowledge. Finally, in Inference, it deduce the conclusions by using the given facts and data.This approach presents the advantages of diversity in knowledge representations and inference to improve the quality of computer-based medical diagnosis.

  • train radio system used for shinkansen in japan has been 18 years since it was opened in 1982 and grown old. Analogue train radio is short of the number of lines and can't cope with the needs for the new high speed data transmission by 1,200 bps. The construction to renew the Tohoku - Joethu shinkansen train radio system(shinkansen train radio system) with digital method started from 2000 in JREast Digital method makes it possible to improve the quality of radio transmission, reliability of the network and every device, the speed and capacity of transmission and to be more efficient maintenance by introducing the latest IT technology. This paper will consider synchronization between base station. diversity method. software receiver, mobile high speed digital radio system, high reliability LAN introduced as technologies supporting these.

  • It is widely recognized that increasing the accuracy and diversity of rotating machinery necessitates an appropriate diagnostic technique and maintenance system. Until now, operators have monitored machinery using their senses or by analyzing simple changes to root mean square output values. We developed an expert diagnostic system that uses fuzzy inference to expertly assess the condition of a machine and allow operators to make accurate judgments. This paper describes the hardware and software of the expert diagnostic system. An assessment of the diagnostic performance for five fault phenomena typically found in pumps is also described.

  • A view of cultural heritage as a form of capital considers the long term, dynamic, evolutionary, inter-temporal and inter-generational aspects of cultural heritage. The principles of sustainability provide a basis on the broader issue of culture in economic development. They might be capable of specifying a pattern of development that is "culturally sustainable" in the same way as somewhat similar set of criteria derived for the natural world, the criteria for defining ecologically and environmentally sustainable development. Thus we might accept the principles of material and non-material advancement, intergenerational and intra-generational equity, the maintenance of cultural diversity, the precautionary principle, and the recognition of system interdependence as benchmarks in assessing a cultural development process.
